Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Fun resort

I really like this resort. The airport immigration was too long. Almost 3 hours. Don't know why. The air conditioning wasn't working right in both rooms and the filling of the fridge didn't happen. The cleaning of the rooms was excellent and the food of good quality. The resort on the whole was good but will be needing an update soon. Will definitely return.

Whala Bavaro: Whala! This is what you get at a 3*

Wonderful beach, 5 pools,ample lounge chairs with plenty of shady spots, extremely comfy beds, very clean resort and warm weather.Balconies for every room, Food repetitive. No water in our room for 2 1/2 days, Unable to shower or flush the toilet. When the water did come on it was only tepid for 1 day. When we showered the bathroom floor was soaked causing the water to run into the bedroom area. Bottled water is to be replaced daily, we had to wait 2 days even after asking for it. The TV con [... read more]tinually timed off in 15-20 minutes. The sky pool was off limits twice during our stay for private events. Lots of flies at the buffet. To mitigate this we tried to sit under a ceiling fan. The room door would not open or close without using brutal force. We had to point this out to the staff and it is beyond me why they were not aware of it. The street in front of the hotel continually floods with stinky sewer water that often covered the side walks. The street was not absent of this malodorous water during our 2 week stay. The floors and walkways are SLIPPERY when wet. This includes not only when it rains, but the staff continually wet mop the hallway floors. I fell 3 times even when walking very slowly. I observed 3 staff almost fall, one female staff did and required medical attention. Similar price for a comparable 3* hotel in Punta Cana Dominican, in future we will pick the other resort. I would only recommend Whala to friends if the price was extremely reasonable i.e. half of what is posted currently on Trip Central for January or February 2020

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Amazing Resort

Hotel very clean,the food was amazing,the room was very clean thanks to Nancy.I would ad like a little more of entertainment at Night.The beach was very nice.The Buffet ad many choice.I love the dessert.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Great price and quality

This is my 6th visit to this hotel. Every visit I have received the same quality and service. The hotel is aging a little bit and the villas could be kept up a bit better.Pools and great and the food!

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Great staff and beautiful beach

We went during the rainy season so the resort was quiet but relaxing. The staff was awesome, the food wasn’t to die for but it was definitely enjoyable, and there were usually plenty of options. The rooms were pretty basic, the bed was a little firm but always made well. The mini fridge seemed to take forever to cool our drinks. Internet costed money which is okay if you don’t have people to keep in contact with. My main complaint is that the sellers on the beach are RELENTLESS! I feel the  [... read more]resort owners should monitor it more so that their guests can enjoy it more as sometime we just wanted to relax and we couldn’t because people were non stop swarming us to sell us something. Some of them would accept your no and others would keep pushing and get in your personal space. Overall, I’d recommend going here, although I don’t have anything else to compare it to as it was my first all inclusive.

Catalonia Royal Bavaro: Catalonia Royal

We had a great time. We were able to upgrade our room for a small fee (giving us a private pool) and we absolutely loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of nightly activities. The food was decent, and the beach was gorgeous. We would definitely travel here again

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: amazing staff ,amazing Place

we have traveled extensively over the years and this resort lived up to its reputation as a top notch resort ,Our room was spacious and had awesome air conditioning ,The food was delicious and the staff attentive to our every need. Beach area was fantastic great for swimming and snorkelling.

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Great holiday

The only negative comment would be the rooms are very dated but are spotless clean. The resort and grounds are beautiful the food delicious. Location close to airport and city. Staff are all so nice and can’t do enough for you ! Great place. Plan on going back !

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Nice resort

The Be Live is a beautiful resort with great staff, however the food was the same thing every day for lunch and dinner! The only time there was a change in the menu was the snack bar or if u booked at the a la cart!!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beautiful Swim-up Rooms

We went to Ambar from September 28-October 7 in a swim-up room (our second time) Food was amazing, Staff are beautiful people and very hospitable. They have changed a few things since our last visit such as more activities at the pool which we did not partake in, we just wanted leisure and relaxation. Its not a 5 star its a 10star. Vista Sol Punta Cana: So So

Pros - close to airport, clean rooms, enjoyed facing poolside where we were, staff friendly Cons - Chicken coop behind our rooms, rooster crowing from 5:15 am - extremely annoying - not rooster's fault - it was a rooster!! - Lobby renovated, but rooms very old and showing age - Worst, most hardest bed ever used. It was awful. - no beverage table service at main buffet. - Beef was terrible even at A La Carte

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: amazing resort

quiet. nice beach, good food, transportation was fast and very easy. very nice beach. ocean water was very warm. very good entertainment every night' catered to all ages. rooms were good, cleaned every day. Had to call room service a few times about getting mini bar restocked however they did restock shortly after I complained.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Great resort

Very friendly staff and great service. Resort was always clean and pools well looked after. Only complaint we have is that there were a lot of smokers and we had to keep moving around to get away from all the smoke. The resort should restrict areas that smokers can light up.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Another Excellent Vacation at this Beautiful Resort

This was our second trip to this beautiful island resort and surely not our last! The island and the hotel are absolutely beautiful. As for the staff and management they are really wonderful as well, going out of their way to make your stay that more enjoyable and memorable. Punta Cana Princess: Great little resort

This resort has only 250 rooms or so, putting it on the smaller side for a resort. Which is exactly what my wife and I wanted for our 30th anniversary. But, small doesn't mean terrible. The pool was awesome with a small swim up bar. There was a very nice lobby bar and sitting area. There was a small beach bar. There was another bar very close to the beach. There were bars in each restaurant. Needless to say, we never waited to get a drink!! And the restaurants were very good. Only once in the week did we meet a staff member that didn't have a smile on their face. They were always willing to help and do what was necessary. And language was never an issue. It always amazes me that each staff member seems to be able to speak several different languages allowing them to communicate with every guest!! Overall, the staff were great. I would highly recommend this resort to everyone.

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Majestic Mirage is Paradise

We didn't know what to expect as we've never stayed at the Mirage. The hotel staff from check in to check out was accommodating and everyone was so pleasant. Our room was absolutely gorgeous. The grounds are stunning....The beach is hands down the best on the strip You can't go wrong if you want to book here...acutally you should book a trip...it will be the best choice you make Majestic we'll be back :)

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: A Resort with Something for Everyone!

This was the first time my husband and I have taken a vacation with our adult children (20's) and our youngest child (11) - Altogether - . We will usually go with one or the other. We had concerns that there would be nothing for the 20 somethings and tons for the 11yr old - or vise versa. Worrying was a waste of good time - because there was plenty for both. The beach was beautiful borderline perfect. The food was delicious and the staff couldn't help you enough. Plus your 25 mins from the airport. Tip: try the pillow menu - the back pillow works!

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Amazing Resort !!

We were upgraded to Mirage , due to elegance was under renovation. We can’t say enough good about it . The people were super friendly the service was top notch ( we travel twice a year and been to many places ) the grounds were beautiful and well kept up . The rooms were spectacular. We will definitely be going back there .

Grand Memories Punta Cana: It gets better and better every time

The hotel has been renovated from the last time we went there ( 4 years ago). But the highlight was the service, every single employee made us feel like home. Service was great, the hotel is big, specially when you want to the beach, however they made sure there is enough carts on a constant basis if you are not up to the walk. The weather was bad for 2 days, it rain every day however there was always something going on that we didn't felt like 2 days were wasted. That is what it makes this hotel so good.

Ocean El Faro: Fantastic Time!

This resort was absolutely fantastic. We typically go away with a group of friends but this time we decided to do a couples vacation based on how many different things there were to do at this resort. From bowling, to the entertainment staff at the pool, to the staff at the restaurants, it was a wonderful vacation. There is lots to do, very clean resort, the beach offers lots of shade and there are lots of chairs at each pool. There was only 6-7 umbrellas per pool which can make it difficult to catch some shade on those hot days! The coffee at the coffee shop was great especially after dinner. The resort is very modern and the rooms were large compared to other all inclusive resorts! Keep up the great work!!
