Barcelo Maya Colonial: Great Resort!!

The grounds were beautiful. Very well maintained. Family suite had tons of space. Lots of pools with lots of bars and places to eats. We loved the buffet. Probably the best buffet we've had at a resort. Lots of activities to do around the grounds. The gym was beautiful and the spa was excellent. We'd go back but with the kids next time!

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Family Vacation With Teens

Our first family vacation in a long time and expectations were high! We booked Run of the House but next time will book specific resort. We didn’t like the unknown factor as we couldn’t find out where we were staying until arriving at Cancun airport and speaking with Air Canada Rep. A family of four including my 18 & 13 year old sons. They kayaked, rented jet s [... read more]kis and we went on ATV/Cenote excursion right on resort which was priced right at $60/person (that was an unexpected find while walking around resort).Highly recommend! Gym was great and we used it most days. No line up for check in but as expected room wasn’t ready until 3pm so we went for lunch at buffet to fill the time. Rooms were only real disappointment. They were very tired especially bathroom. Public washrooms were more appealing by far!! I realize climate is humid but bed was damp and smelly regardless of turning air/fans on. Been to Riviera Maya before and did not experience this. Very hard to sleep and woke with smelly hair and pjs :( Grounds are beautiful, beach is amazing, pool is cold but refreshing! Resort is 1 hour 15 mins from airport which we were aware of and resigned to just enjoying scenery. Enjoyed convenience and location of lobby bar at Tropical (close to our rooms). Able to have early am coffee/cappuccino before buffet opened and pre dinner drink while waiting for others to dress for dinner. Coffee is amazing BTW! Buffet was good for breakfast but redundant for lunch/dinner. We went to 3 different ones to try and mix it up a little. A la carte restaurants: México Lindo our fav!! La Trattoria italian amazing HUGE portions!! Tokyo Japan fun experience, meal was ‘fine’. Santa Fe steak house least favourite but ‘fine’. Staff/servers were very friendly and helpful for the most part. Some grumpy bartenders at beach bar, and front desk. Overall great vacation and would return to Barcelo Maya again, for sure.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: sublime time

it was the best getaway after cold climates in Hamilton. the warmth and the sun on your skin, the palm trees, the food was fresh, the staff friendly, hotel was accommodating. the fruits were endless to eat. everything was clean.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing resort

What a great resort very clean. Amazing and friendly staff. We Defiently will be going again with the family. The food and shows where great. Lots of things to do with the kids. Cant wait to go again in the near future.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Finally the top resort

What a pleasant surprise. We just returned from Valentin Imperial Maya where we were for one week. I rate this resort a perfect 5 star. The accommodations, the grounds, the staff and yes the top quality food. This was the best vacation I have had in years.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Great resort!

This resort is beautiful!! It's clean, the food was great, the staff was super friendly and helpful! There is lots to do right on the resort which was great! The pools are amazing! All over super impressed with this resort and I would definitely go back :)

Grand Sunset Princess: Amazing resort!

We loved the grounds, the rooms and the service was exellent! The beach has shadow, the water is great, however there are some rocks when entering the water, but easy to avoid.The evening entertainment vas great and we danced many evenings.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Fun fun fun

This holiday was so much fun for the kids. There was so much to do at the resort it kept them busy so we could do some relaxing. The rooms were large and comfortable. The pools were kept very clean. The snorkelling in the ocean was great. The food was fantastic. It was very close to many cool excursions as well. Like swimming with dolphins. Overall we all had a perfect vacation.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Great service

Hotel was great. Very large! Bev did a great job at accommodating everyone in our group! Thanks for everything! It would be great to have more reservation options as we only got three. This would great!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Best of the best!

We stayed here Jan 21-28 and absolutely loved it!! Such fantastic staff. Amazing food and drinks. Nice quiet location and rooms. Everyone was so relaxed, happy and friendly. We have been to many five star resorts To compare and for the price, Sian Kaan beats them all!

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Nothing not to like

Well maintained grounds, very clean with great food. Have visited this hotel before and nothing has changed, consistently good service. Very friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble, they really want to please their guests. I would recommend this hotel for an all inclusive stay.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Nice resort

Nice hotel very clean room the foods was good ,we enjoy the staff especialy Omar at the Daisy junior suites bar always had a smile to serve us ,also the lady at the ice cream bar always look happy serving ice cream to the peoples.We enjoyed the monkeys on the site .

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great food, big resort

Food at all A la Carte restaurants tried was absolutely delicious with courteous staff. Food at buffet also good. Drinks average. Infinity pool for Adults only very relaxing. Rooms clean however a bit noisy if located near the lobby. Beautiful beach

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Beautiful Resort, Don't Book with Sunwing

We stayed at this resort as a couple (newly engaged) in mid January 2018. The resort itself was amazing - food was top notch, service very professional and courteous, and the rooms / pools magnificent. I will surely come back again and stay in Hideaway again, though likely as part of Diamond Club to get a few extra perks such as the day beds at the beach. All a la cartes were excellent and we got in promptly upon arrival even at prime meal times. The buffet was also very good with lots of fresh  [... read more]food stations where food was made to order. There were vegan options at every restaurant and I always found food to eat when needed. We even received "surprise" room service of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries one afternoon! Every disappointment we had during this vacation were caused by Sunwing....First our flight was delayed both ways - I realize delays may happen but we never received any indication that there would be delays or any explanation as to why they occurred. The resort is only 20 minutes away from the airport and us along with 3 other people had a small van to share on the way there. By this point we are all hungry / thirsty since the flight had been delayed about an hour. The driver of the van took us to a completely wrong resort (Royal Hideaway instead of Hideaway at the Royalton) which ended up costing us over 2 hours by the time we got there and drove all the way back. The driver still had the audacity to ask for a tip after all of this... On the trip back to the airport we were on a huge bus that was filled to the brim weith screaming children and stopped at multiple resorts. I would recommend for people to arrange their own transportation and fly with a different airline, but to definitely come to this hotel!

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Two Bars Down

Just arrived home from one week stay at Luxury Akumal, Gran Bahia Principe Mexico. We have a group of 6 and really enjoy this resort which is why it was our 8th visit. The main reason we like the Akumal section is the beach area with beach bar...... sun, sand, beer. For some reason management decided they would close the beach bar that week (01/17/18) and therefore the beach area received minimal if any service which sucked. In addition the inland Jacuzzi pool bar (Bar Chit), which was very clos [... read more]e to our room quarters was also closed for the week. That makes Two bars down out of the 4 available for the area which really sucked. No one at the resort knew why these bars were shut down as they were open the week previous, curios indeed. On the good side I probably drank half as much as I usually do, NOT. If these bars are not to be open then it should be advertised as such which it currently is not.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Excellent Yet Again

We love this resort. This was our 7th trip there. We have been to many of the other 5* resorts along the Mayan Riviera and this one is still our favorite. Good food, Good service, Good accommodations, Good beach, Good pools. We will return

Riu Palace Riviera Maya: Exceptional Stay!

Our stay at the Riu Palace Riviera hotel was wonderful. The hotel has a colonial style, and one feels they are in a 5 star grand European hotel. First and foremost, the hotel staff were fabulous. From the maids who cleaned our rooms, to the front desk crew, groundskeepers and restaurant waiters and waitresses, all were so friendly, hard working and attentive to the guests. The restaurants were all good, with a special mention to Manolos, where the selection and preparation were first class. Grand Palladium Kantenah: My favorite all inclusive resort to date

This was our 4th visit to the Grand Palladium on the Mayan Riviera.....3rd stay on the Kantenah side. The grounds are huge and well kept with extensive walkways throughout the property.... We really enjoy being able to walk for kilometres through all the natural vegetation.... Mangrove swamps and "jungle" and there no shortage of wheels to get you from A to B if you don't like to walk. The pools are amazing as is the beach. You can walk for about a 2km stretch along the white sandy beach. Y [... read more]ou can snorkel, kyak, windsurf etc. The entertainment staff always have activities planned - rain or sunshine and besides a nightly show there is live music and fun themed party nights. There are so many choices of excellent restaurants..... ( no reservations required) and lots of bars, so no excuse to ever have an empty glass. The staff are so friendly and will go out of their way to help you and to make your vacation a memorable one....a big thank you to the entire Palladium team. This trip I'd like to make special mention of Jonathan who manned one of the nightly liquor tasting tables near the colonial lobby who made us some wonderful drinks and entertained us with his tricks and singing and had us stopping by every night to try something new. I think this resort is a great place for anyone.... couples, family, groups, weddings.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Amazing resort!

Had the best week ever at Barcelo! Definitely the biggest resort I’ve ever stayed at. The food was amazing, drinks were great, staff was friendly. My friend got married at the Barcelo palace and it was stunning!! Only complaint would be that the rooms smell so musty but that’s hard to control because it’s so humid and the one lady at guest services was very rude!! We were booking our a la cart dinners and she wasn’t very helpful or friendly.

Le Reve Hotel and Spa: Excellent all around Resort

Staff were extremely professional and they made you feel like part of a large famileeee!!
