Melia Cayo Coco: Awesome in Every Way

Everything was so good we plan on returning every year we can! The food was great, the people were great, the resort, the beach, the weather.... It was all great. We had one day of overcast but the temperature was still in the high 20's C and we thoroughly enjoyed our entire stay. Lots to see and do or nothing but relaxing on the beach, your choice.

Sol Cayo Santa Maria: Great service

The people working at this resort make it a truly exceptional place to stay. The beach is incredible, the resort is comfortable and the food was very good. It is easy to stay at this resort and be very relaxed enjoying the paradise that you are immersed in.

Melia Peninsula Varadero: Best place to eat in Cuba, very friendly staff

The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are clean and good a la carte restaurant quiet at night but lots of entertainment at night if you want to stay up. Beach is beautiful and clean. I will go back for sure

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Perfect Honeymoon!

This place was the perfect place for our honeymoon. Excellent beach, amazing food, and really private and quite resort. I would love to visit again. The customer service met our every need. I can't think of any complaints. It is an excellent value resort.

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Very relaxing holiday

The rooms were comfortable, the food was great. We used the spa all day except for lunch it was wonderful. The staff were friendly especially the food and beverage manager Carlos and George with the glasses at the reception. The a la carte meals were excellent. The pool was nice but it needed to be painted. The bus ride to the airport was time consuming having to drop off or pick up at other hotels. Next time I think I would take a taxi to the airport.

Melia Buenavista: Loved Melia Buenavista

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mesia Buenavista. I liked that it was an adults only smaller hotel. The hotel was not at full capacity so we felt like we had our own private beach...our own private pool. It was wonderful. Our room was one of the best we have stayed in....very large and comfortable. It also had an outdoor shower. The butler service was a nice touch, however, we didn't use it very much. We found the food to be good...not great...but everyone has differing opinions on the food. Melia Marina Varadero: A new resort with some up and downs

We have been in Cuba for four times in Holguin and wanted to check out this new resort. Positives: New Hotel, good rooms and beautiful view, foods are good (even with comparing to the other countries) and very helpful employees. Negatives: Entertainment was not that much impressive. Even there is no place for the entertainers to perform (They do it in the hotel Lobby) There are a lot of facilities (Like Bowling , Billiard or specialty bars or restaurants) that you need to pay in order to use th [... read more]em. The pay is even more than the usual standards in North America. When we settled down in our room, we noticed that they are offering a sofabed for the third person in the room , this really frustrated us and we complained to the management (management is from Melia Spain and I was not that much impressed with the way they were handling issues. I was much better with the Cuban hotel managers in Holguin resorts) any way after wasting sometime with the hotel management for the extra bed issue for the third person, those guys agreed to put an extra bed in the room (at the beginning they didn't want to put the extra bed in the room) The hotel employees are generally very polite and friendly.

Melia Peninsula Varadero: Hidden Gem in Cuba!

When trying to find a resort in Cuba, my travel advisor at Tripcentral recommended we stay at the Melia Peninsula Veradero. We were thinking of returning to another resort we had stayed because the food was great but we were concerned about staying two weeks and being bored at that place. When our advisor said the food was good, rooms very large, and entertainment fantastic, she was not lying. The main buffet was sometimes lined up around 8 or 8:30 pm but we started to eat at our normal time of 7 pm and there was no problem getting in . The a la carte restaurants were easy to reserve with little line up to reserve, provided you went to the office about 10:30 or 11 am when people were already at the beach. We highly recommend the Japanese restaurant where they prepare the food right in front of you. The show was as good as the food and that was excellent. Our room was extremely large and nice. We had a walk-in closet which kept the messy suitcases our of sight! The room also had a four piece bath - the shower was freestanding and walk in. Also for the seniors, the toilet was a higher than normal height. We never saw one bug anywhere. Also, the balcony was extremely large. As for the entertainment, it was second to none. We have been to many all inclusive resorts and they pale in comparison. The hotel brought in professional entertainment in the lobby every evening. They usually played until about 10 pm. Then the stage show began for an hour and after, for the young or young at heart crowd, the disco started. We saw shows that we would pay a fortune for at home. We danced many evenings in the lobby of the hotel. Over the two weeks, most of the acts were not repeted except the better ones. The beaches were gorgeous and the pool was great although a bit cool some days. We have been to another Melia hotel in Cuba before, but this one is a cut above. Congratulations to the Manager and his staff. We look forward to returning.

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Great Resort

Everything was nice grounds were clean food was good. The golf courses were excellent just a golf cart ride away . the only downfall was that you had to take the train all around the resort, other than that the beaches were great as well .

Melia Cayo Santa Maria: Great Resort!!!!

Had some missgivings about going to Cuba... We had a great time! From the airport pick up to the welcome at the resort, all was great. The wait staff was fantastic, the rooms were clean and well appointed. We WILL be back!

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Beautiful resort.

Good food, good service, and very nice rooms. Nice grounds and resort is not too large so walking around is easy. Pool area overlooks beach giving great views. Beach is nice with snorkelling right of the beach area on reef.

Melia Buenavista: My favourite resort in Cuba.

Beautiful resort. Very intimate. The service was second to none. We had 2 butlers that looked after us night and day. It was refreshing not to have to wait in line to book things. They came to you wether you were by the pool or having a latte on the deck and booked your dinner times or excursions. Nice to be spoiled. Our friends at the pool bar were the best, you never wanted for anything at all. Your drinks were brought to you and they would get your lunch from the restaurant and bring it pools [... read more]ide. Heaven. This is our 2nd trip and we're invited to have dinner with the manager to talk about the resort and some of the new ideas he had. Will defiantly go back again.

Melia Peninsula Varadero: Great family resort

Great for families - good size kids pool, activities, and (the kids favorite) a video arcade room with some playstations. Rooms are OK, ours was showing some age. Restaurants and buffet are very good by Cuban standards.

Booked this hotel upon recommendation of our trip central assistant Jen. The hotel was great: delicious drinks, lots of food options, beautiful beach, friendly staff, great shows every night and clean rooms. The only down side was the long bus ride to the resort. Overall a great trip.

Melia Las Dunas: Incredible resort

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent visit to the melia las dunas in April. The rooms were very clean. The beach was all white beautiful sand. Great food that was on par with other places in Cuba. My daughter requires a wheel chair. Las dunas was completely accessible. We were very pleased with this. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We enjoyed the the hot weather and the pool was immaculate. Would definetly go there again !!

Melia Marina Varadero: Fantastic resort & staff!!

Reading other reviews of various Cuban resorts made us a bit apprehensive, however the Melina Marina proved that no worries were happening there! The place, the people and the food were all fantastic!! Loved everything from the room to the tours & the pools & the beach! Can't say one negative thing about our 8 day stay except that we had to leave. :)

Melia Puerto Vallarta: Awesome vacation spot!!

We stayed at the Melia resort in puerto Vallarta and it was outstanding. Great family resort with lots of activities for the little ones. It's also not a far cab ride to the centre of town where all the action is. The staff were wonderful and there was no shortage of food throughout the day. We would gladly go back!!

Melody Maker Cancun: Great for younger couples

Beautiful hotel, food was great, drinks and espresso bar especially. Although the entertainment is not very good for older people. Music very loud. If you are early to bed, make sure that you do stay in a room over the disco

Melia Peninsula Varadero: Very nice resort

Large resort at the end of peninsula of Varadero. Lovely garden layouts. Three restaurants to choose from with reservation , nicely decorated, great service and good food. Clean rooms and a really nice pool.
