Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: this resort is outstanding

the entire facility was flawlessly clean and the people working there wait on you hand and foot all of the food was excellent as well as the premium liquor, the workers at the pool and the beach set up your seating area

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Perfect

Hotel was still one of the best I’ve ever stayed at! Right across from the golf coarse. Just a five minute ride to the exclusive beach area. The staff are the best and the food is top notch. They have 24 hour room service along with butler service. The spa is very nice. Everything is nice and close in this compact hotel.

Excellence Riviera Cancun: Amazing Resort

This resort offers great food with 9 restaurants to choose from and it has lots of very friendly staff to make your stay memorable. The rooms are huge and come with all the comforts you would expect and it offers a great beach.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Valentin Imperial Maya in Playa del Carmen

Laura Mulvihill-Spry was our travel agent for this vacation and I feel that she did a fantastic job. I would give this resort 5 stars. The hotel staff was very friendly always saying hello and communicated well in english as well as some french. Although our room was not ready on our first night they upgraded us to a king suite just outside of the lazy river, and they made the transition to the other room the next day as painless as possible. The rooms were cleaned daily (you can arrange for a t [... read more]ime that works better for you), and they had turn down service at night. Meals were fantastic and waiters were professional but look exhausted and unhappy while they were serving. We also enjoyed the 24hour room service (food usually showed up within 45min after ordering). They had multiple swimming areas (one with party music and activities, and offered a quieter area. The beach was immaculate (they raked it every morning). The swimming area was clearly marked and there was a lifeguard available most hours during the day. The grounds were well kept and plush with greenery and tropical flowers. They also seemed to have activities throughout the day and entertainment every night. We loved our stay.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Amazing resort!

The hotel was very well laid out. The Hideaway section offered a great adult ambience but the Royalton pool was also nice. What makes this resort experience so great is the staff. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and nice and gave us excellent service. The food is also very good. Not one bad meal. Some meals were meant to be savoured and so the service was slower so you could enjoy the experience. This was our second time visiting this resort and we would go back again.

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: One of the best

Many advantages make this resort one of the best on Mayan Riviera: beautiful buildings, very nice grounds and facilities, friendly staff, close to the airport and various sites to visit, adult, access to 4 other Iberostar resorts within walking distance. This is our 6th time at this resort which says a lot.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Awesome resort

This resort is a five star in my mind. My husband and I were there for 9 days. This was our first time at a Iberostar. The food, grounds,employees,beach all was so good. The grounds with all the green and birds is very plesent to walk through as you make your journey from you room to the buffet. We were in 33 building so a fair walk but very enjoyable with the grounds to enjoy. They have enough chairs and palapa at the beach that you always get one you do not need to save them. Beach is beautiful, was windy when we were there so water was rough but that is not the resorts control. Very lovely stay.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Very nice resort

Very nice rooms, good food, good staff! The resort is large enough with different areas so that it doesn't feel crowded. Thought the spa prices were high. The a la carte restaurants--Mexican and Italian were very good; however, the Tepan Yaki at the Japanese restaurant was extremely salty.

Grand Riviera Princess: Beautiful resort

Staff was wonderful Rooms clean The food in general was okay. I would have liked more variety. Grounds were kept very nicely with the exception of the restrooms nearest the beach. More frequent attendance to these bathrooms is required. Alcoholic beverages were poor in taste. The wine was terrible and much of the liquor seemed to have been watered down. Excellence Riviera Cancun: The Best

This resort is by far one of the best places I have been to. This is our 3rd time and it definitely won’t be the last. Customer service is excellent. The set up and food are phenomenal. We stayed on the third floor in building 4. I have stayed in other building and did not find one better than another. My favourite entertainment this year was called a silent dance. Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: Average hotel

We arrived at Secret Silversands on January 16, 2018! While at the front desk they offered us an upgrade for the honeymoon suite for a good price, so we took it! When we entered the room the incense was burning! So they were masking the smell! So we changed and went on our way through the resort! When we came back to the room to change my husband and i noticed the smell but there was a towel blocking the drain in the shower. After dinner when we were going to bed we noticed the turndown se [... read more]rvice had another incense was burned! So couldn’t really smell anything! The next morning we noticed the smell again! On Thursday I couldn’t take the smell anymore and asked the maid she said it was coming from both the toilet and the shower drain! She gave us a whole bunch of incense to burn! On Thursday evening our friends how were staying in another room came to our room and she couldn’t take the smell either. Friday morning I went to the front desk and they said they would handle it! We were on our tour on that day so didn’t see if anyone actually came! All they did was block the drain again with a towel! Still the toilet had the smell! Saturday evening before dinner I went to the premier lounge to complain again and they said they would send someone! We had dinner just below our room and would have noticed if someone went in and the whole time nobody went to the room! Sunday afternoon I went again! They told me they handled it, I explained to them that they didn’t! They said they would send someone again! All they did was block the drain again with a towel! But nothing for the toilet! On Monday we decided to leave it alone as we were leaving on Tuesday morning but when we did leave I did explain to the front desk that the smell was horrible and was very disappointed that nothing was done! We waisted the money on the upgrade! We also found that the food at the breakfast was always the same arrangement! There was no difference from day to day! Lunch you had a lot more of a choice! Dinners were ok! We found that the best dinner was the steak house! Other then that I was very dissolved with this vacation! We have been to Secrets Capri and found that resort to be a lot better then Secrets Silversands! I’m not sure if I would recommend this resort!

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Best Resort I've been to!!!!!

Everything was perfect, from the option plus flight to the hotel. Our room was great with a nice view, cleaned and restocked every day, the pools and the beach were amazing and beautiful. The food and service was excellent. We had the time of our lives and would love to go back :)

Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Loved It!

Room was beautiful, newly renovated and so clean ! Service at this hotel is like none other . Each and every staff was a pleasure to deal with and went out of their way to accommodate. Food was good , lots of choices at buffet . Italian restaurant was best! Beach was good but a bit rocky . Location location location is what we loved , minutes from any and everything you want in Playa. Always felt safe .

Had a wonderful stay at the hideaway royalton riviera cancun. Great service .Awesome room . Great food . A special thanks to Raul our beach waiter. Enjoyed the adult only pool area and beach. The choice of restaurants were great.

The Sian Ka'an at Grand Tulum: Not Bad

I just want to say that the The Sian Ka'an at Grand Tulum resort is a nice resort but it is far from an adults only. The only place for adults to eat without a reservation is the buffet on the family side. The adults only beach is a small roped off area of the main beach. we were charged for a bottle of wine by a restaurant that we didn't go to almost mist our shuttle because of this. my suggestion if you want to go to this resort go to the family side as it is cheaper and you get pretty much th [... read more]e same .

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Good resort

We arrived late 10 Pm due air plane problem, but the restaurant was still open with nice and good food selection. The room was dark, night table missing, we ask other room (41403) the room identical with the previous but the night table was there. Light bulb burnt out curtain dirty and not hang properly. .We left Do not disturb sign outside the door, but housekeeping wake us up for 3 nights at 8.30 AM. The ground was very nicely kept, the restaurants was peasant with extremely good, nicely prepared in the buffets and restaurants. The staff extremely helpful and friendly Pools, transportations wery good between properties. We have good time except the room can be in better shape.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Huge but great resort

The resort was huge and far from the airport and play del Carmen. getting around was fairly painless with the amount of shuttles available but usually have to wait 10 min or more. Rooms were great but far from the beach. Service was average, food was decent. The pool was large and very cold. The beach was nice sand and made for swimming with the ugly sand bags.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Almost 5 star but overall great

Beautiful property, pretty good food, very friendly and accommodating staff. Small issues we’re addressed right away. Weather during the week was pretty bad. Strong winds, cloudy and rainy all week long but we made the best of it. Evening entertainment was the best of any other hotel we have stayed at. Done by hired groups and professionals, not the usual hotel entertainment staff that are jack of all trades. Elvis show was the worst but overall the rest were great. Wednesday nights are [... read more] the hacienda night where you must pay a small fee to go to this Mexican area that is shared by all 4 Bahia principe resorts and includes Mexican performances with a carnival/fair atmosphere. Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Don't Think Twice!

A very comforting and relaxing resort to unwind and be young again. The room was very safe warming and welcoming, a bathrobe and house shoes to add comfort along with a coffee machine, water, drinks in the mini fridge and a television, also a very clean washroom and comfortable shower add to the happiness of the room. No need to bring soaps, shampoos or other items, it is all there for you to unwind with at the end of the day or in the warm sunny caress of the morning start. There are many safe shuttle vehicles that will never leave you lost or astray, the resort is very safe there is no need to feel uncomfortable as the staff is very respectful and courtious and there are many security cameras to ensure your safety 24 hours a day. The grounds are exceptional and clean, a family with children will be very happy with the resort as there are children safe play areas, you won't find party animals being excessive and annoying. The food variety and quality is amazing, I gained 10 pounds while being there, seafood, steak, vegetables and fruit will make you very happy and healthy along with great selections of expresso's and coffee's and fresh juices. The bars at all clean and friendly pools are awsome the bartenders go the extra mile with quality beverages and service, Sebastion at the Seafood Pool Bar is a very professional bartender and can amaze your thirst desires, quite nice martini's. The main beach zone is wonderful and the staff at the restaurants and bars will make your day relaxing while you take time to unwind and suntan and swim in safe waters, a Fantastic way to spend an entire day, you have everything there. You won't be bored or disappointed taking this resort as your choice, I spoke with many people while being there and found none with a complaint, there is value here.

Catalonia Yucatan: Everything we expected and more!!

The resort is awesome, really enjoyed that it was located inside a gated community which allowed us free range to so many various activities without having to plan and excursion. Amazing food, great staff and the entertainment was impressive. Rooms are great quality, the only downside we experience was the maid service. We travelled with a group and their service seemed fine yet our room was only cleaned at times. We always left a tip so we knew it wasn’t because of that.
