Riu Palace Jamaica: ENTERTAINMENT VERY GOOD

What an amazing week! Entertainment & Staff 20/10, this is the best part of this resort! Spider-Man, Bravo, Sparkie, Dr fun fun, starfire and even our pool bar bartender Paul absolutely made our week. Some even sit and chat with you and really make you feel welcome while creating a true friendship. Drinks 10/10. Food 8/10, didn’t try too many of the al a carte restaurants but the buffet was still great. Beach 8/10, not crystal clear but still nice. Being able to go to the neighbouring RIUs beside us was a huge plus but honestly we stayed at our resort most of the time because we loved it! The waterpark and club at the montego were great and some of the shows at the reggae were great. It’s great because you can go to their resort but they can’t come to the Palace. Go see my man Spider-Man and tell him somersault Paige sent you!

Riu Montego Bay: Pure dead magic

was there in October and back again in January, that's how much we loved the place. the rooms were large and very clean. the pools were great, the bars and restaurants had great selections of food. and drink. beach was good, plenty of room. finally the staff were fantastic. special mention to Chevelle and Patricia in the main dining room in the morning. both were great and had our table for us every morning ready with coffee and mimosas. Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Great time at Sandals Ochi

Beautiful grounds, awesome staff, good food. The first room we had was a bit run down and needed a reno. We mentioned this to the concierge and we were promptly moved to a renovated villa. The beach was gorgeous - a word of warning, take water shoes as the beach is very rocky and not kind to your feet.

Riu Montego Bay: Beautiful

Definitely go back to this resort friendly staff, great food, clean rooms Having five pools was amazing. You had your choice of quiet or busy great fun and entertainment every day. Check in and check out was a breeze!

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Grandiose resort

Well maintained 16 yr old building with all the amenities. I believe it is the 2nd largest resort in Jamaica. Picture shows the adult pool which has access to a rather little private beach where we came across a friendly barracuda. No end of other beach or pools. The 1,000 units are spread over the vast area and so the shuttle buses respond immediately to your beck and call if you need them. It is a 45 min ride from the airport but the traffic can add a 1/2 hr at times. Only complaint, the TV could not stream NetFlix or others and the Stingray audio did not come through. Much of the accommodations are 3 storey and we enjoyed our quiet and clean one.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Had an enjoyable time!

Had an enjoyable vacation at Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica. The rooms were clean and our requests for additional items was met. There was a variety of foods at the buffet and the a la cartes were great too. Had no difficulty booking a la carte meals. The grounds were really nice and well maintained. Nothing negative to mention about this resort

Ocean Eden Bay: It's Complicated

Hotel 9 out of 10 Food 7 out of 10 Evening entertainment.... in multiple locations Room Service great Beach --------- minus 1 ( rocks, tiny, not a lot of shady spots ) Most of the YouTube documentation don't show the beach, and for a good reason.

SeaGarden Beach Resort: Exactly as pictured

This resort was lovely and great value. The room was spacious and clean. Water in the shower needed to be run for a while to get hot water. The staff was friendly. Angie was stellar and her friendly face every morning greeting us at breakfast was a great way to start the day. The beach is pristine and the water was the perfect temp. There were always loungers available in both sun and shade every time we went to the beach throughout the day. Lifeguards were friendly. Music played on the beach [... read more] made for a really fun and relaxing environment. The steel drum band was a highlight of the trip for me! I didn't use the pool at all because the beach is so perfect. It has a roped off cove that makes the whole beach have a very intimate feel. It looks exactly like the promo photos! You have to cross a small dead end road to get to the beach but there is a crossing guard, not that one is really necessary. I was concerned about this before going but I think it was a blessing in disguise having the beach separate from the rest of the resort. The food at the buffet is mostly Jamaican (jerk chicken, stewed beef, curried goat, fried white fish) and it was delicious but they do also have some American options like mac'n'cheese. The food on the beach was excellent and they served jerk chicken, cheeseburgers, fries, and some other options I didn't try. The jerk chicken on the beach was so tender and delicious! Best chicken I've had in recent memory. For breakfast there is also an omlette option and it served the best omlette I've ever had custom made in front of the guests. The disco/nightclub is small, which isn't a problem but the music was SO loud. Too loud. One night they had great music but then other nights the music was out of touch with the vibe of the guests. The drinks are made very strongly. I personally like some coke in my rum and cokes so I was a little put off, but I'm sure this would be a good thing for some people. The hotel coffee is terrible. Luckily the resort is only a 10 minute walk from a Starbucks at a brisk pace. Overall I had a very positive stay here and I would come back in a heartbeat!

Azul Beach Resort Negril: Resort was okay

The room that we had was very nice (honeymoon suite). Grounds were well taken care of and overall cleanliness was good. The majority of the staff were nice and always willing to help. We did, however, have an unpleasant experience when we checked in. After a 5 hour bus ride from the airport that was supposed to be only 2, the front desk person who checked us in was very rude and unwelcoming. She spelt our last name wrong and when I pointed it out to her, she grabbed the tablet away from me. Not  [... read more]a very good first impression of the property - that's for sure. We tried all 3 of the specialty restaurants and the food was not what we would have expected at a 5-star resort. The dinner buffet was hit and miss - some times good and other times, not so good. They had roast beef on the buffet one night and it was so tough, you couldn't cut it with a knife. The wait staff were great - no issues there. The breakfast buffet was good as well as the lunch BBQ on the beach. We were disappointed that there weren't enough lounges for everyone on the beach. You had to get up at 6:30 am to put a towel on a lounge - again, something I wouldn't expect at a 5-star resort. Also, staff were allowing guests to reserve more lounges and sunbeds then they needed. For example, we saw a couple using a large sunbed as well as 2 lounges and an umbrella when there were other guests who couldn't find anywhere to sit. I read comments on FaceBook that people were giving staff money to hold chairs for them - definitely a practice that needs to be addressed by management. Experience with bars okay overall.

Couples Tower Isle: Can’t wait to go back!

Hotel was wonderful. The food was excellent and lots of variety! Staff was attentive and friendly. Wish we stayed longer. We will be going back! Rooms are clean and fridge always stocked. Bus ride is a little long but worth it!

Secrets Wild Orchid: Gorgeous Resort

The Secrets Wild Orchid was stunning, our swim up ocean view room was breath taking. The food & entertainment was fabulous and the ocean was crystal clear. Our Butlers Adia & Devon did an amazing job with helping arrange our dinners, to transportation & loungers at the beach everyday. Our rooms were cleaned everyday & frig stocked with drinks & snacks. Riu Reggae: Nice Resort!

I Would not classify this hotel as a 5*. Staff was great through out the hotel, except the front reception. They were not helpful or friendly. They just could not be bothered. Other staff was great. Food was good with lots of selection. Hotel rooms were basic. Entertainment was fantastic. I loved that the pools and beach were very close to each other. Every angle on the main pool area gives you a great view of the beach. If you are looking for a smaller resort vibe, and a quick vacation. This [... read more] would be perfect. Overall, it gave us what we needed, a quick getaway for some sunshine.

Staff were great! Service was fantastic. Resort was extremely clean. Entertainment was excellent! Food and Restaurants were fantastic. We will be returning forsure ! Beautiful pools and beaches were great. ?

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Perfect family vacation

Let’s start off with the check in . We are a group of 10 . We had requested a room with double beds for my son and his friend I even sent an email . Once we arrived they informed us that they did not have a double bed room till 3 days into our vacation. We were a bit upset but the boys weee okay with it. The boys went to their room and we went to ours . Once we opened our door we noticed we had 2 double beds. So we switched. Resort is clean . I don’t understand as the resort is massive and should be able to accommodate groups. Other than that . We will be booking for 14 days next year . The cabana girl by the name of Christine was the most amazing and beautiful person we met . She went beyond her role to make our cabana experience even better than we had planned. Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: Great family vacation

The hotel was great. Staff and food were excellent. Beware - most rooms are outdated and many guests complained that they smell like mold. Luckily we upgraded when we arrived and got a nice new modern room. I believe you would need to get a junior king suite or higher to stay on the modern side. I would recommend calling and booking directly with the hotel to confirm that you are getting a modern new room. Otherwise you’ll be disappointed.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Would not return to this hotel!

I was not impressed by this resort at all considering it was supposed to be a 5 star, it really wasn’t. More like a 3 1/2 star, the grounds were not well kept, very dirty, run down rooms. Service was poor u less you tipped well. They were always missing beach towels every day and sometime room towels. The beach was nice but not well kept as there was a lot of sea weed due to storm, but they didn’t remove the seaweed or all the garbage that was left on beach chairs. Ocean Eden Bay: Overall Great Vacation

The resort was in a beautiful location. It was about a 40 minute drive from the airport. Food was really good, mostly buffets but some fancier table-service options for dinner. Open bars at the pool and near the beach. Not a ton of area to swim at the beach and water was quite shallow. However, the pool was a fair size and clean. Rooms were very spacious and nicely decorated.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Clean resort

Entertainment staff was good. Buffett cold didn’t matter on the time you went. Room needed repair, mentioned never fixed. Resort very clean. Cooks always looked unhappy Bartenders were great We will not be going back. Very large resort, lots of walking to get to places.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Terrific resort with exceptional food and service

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Well-kept grounds and rooms with exceptional food. There is something for everyone. Things to do or just relax in the sun and the staff will take good care of you. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: I love Jamaica

The grounds were beautiful, the staff amazing, the rooms were ok and the food on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day was excellent. Can't say enough about the staff., they were kind and helpful. Karaoke each night was fun and the overall entertainment staff did an excellent job. Excellent A la carte restaurants. The resort was an hour away from the airport, and the shopping in Ochi was an excellent experience. Try the Starbucks and KFC when you visit. I Would go back in a heartbeat!
