Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Very nice resort

Grounds of the resort are beautiful. Needs improvements like providing more air conditioning restaurants or at least more fans . Needs improvements of air conditioning in rooms,not all working well. Problems with plumbing,some rooms got fladded.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Once we got over a horrible welcome, it was a good trip

Upon our arrival, we found that our travel agent had neglected to send the registration information for one of the people in our room, to the hotel. The desk clerk & manager were not willing to accept the hotel confirmation that we had been sent to me, that included this third member. We were checking in with a large wedding party. The mixup with our room resulted in us having a 3 hour wait before we were given a room after paying a $300 deposit. During this time the staff would not allow us [... read more] to sit down in the lobby, or eat - it had been a long day of travel & was 12 hours since we had eaten. This ordeal could have been made a little more bearable if we had been treated with common courtesy & hospitality. The room we were given did not include the cot that we had been promised for my granddaughter, nor enough towels for 3 people. I have yet to receive an apology from the resort or the travel agency. I will certainly never book again with trip central.

Dreams Dominicus La Romana: super nice fantastiko

the hotel it's very clean end beautiful food delicious ,so many chose four everybody the rums are clean end big species . sea water was very nice ,pol,s super nice . only there its some rooks on the beach

Dreams Dominicus La Romana: Great time at a great resort

We really enjoyed the Dreams Dominicus and all it has to offer. We upgraded to the Preferred Swim-Up Rooms which were nice but we didn't get much use of the private pool. It was nice to have the preferred perks such as a buffet restaurant for only preferred guests and a section of the beach with beach service. There was also pool service and room service included for everyone which is wonderful, you feel truly spoiled. The food was good, the a la carte restaurants were especially good although I wasn't overly fond of the sushi. The beach was beautiful, calm, clear water and plenty of white sand.... there was a little market about a 5 minute walk down the beach with all the souvenirs one could need. The Spa was very nice and my services with Ana were wonderful. The packages are definitely negotiable though and they have a different special every day. I would definitely recommend this resort, it's the third Dreams resort I have stayed at and probably the least favorite of the three but still a nice, relaxing place.

JW Marriott Costa Elena Resort and Spa: Amazing, breath taking resort

We went to Dreams for our honeymoon and we couldn't have asked for a better resort! It was rainy season, but that was perfect because everywhere you looked, there was greenery. The grounds were kept so clean, as were the pools. There were so many pools to choose from and plenty of towels and chairs! All of them were very clean and maintained really well. There weren't many pool activities but we were okay with that because we wanted to relax. At first we were hesitant because of the all ages res [... read more]ort, but we actually ended up using the all ages pool more then the adults only pool. The bars by the pools had quick service and the bartenders would always come around and ask if we wanted any drinks. The bartenders were honestly so amazing. It made staying by the kid's pool side better! The beach was okay. The mountain view in the background was great but if you're going to Costa Rica for the beach, then this isn't the destination for you. Because it is a public beach, there are locals there who will try and sell you their excursions. They are friendly, but it did get kind of annoying after which made us avoid the beach altogether. We stayed at the jungle view building and it was great. At first, all we saw were green trees but every morning, we'd see white faced monkeys jumping through the trees! Some even came to our balcony for fruits. The room was very open. There are frosted glass doors but that's about it.. I suggest you definitely be comfortable with your roommate. We didn't use the tub in the balcony, but it was a cool feature. The World Cafe (all you can eat buffet) was good. The food was kind of repetitive after 5 days but if you switch it up and go to the a la cartes, then you'll be okay. We did however get sick the last day of our 7 day vacation and we suspect that it may be from the raw sushi. Himitsu was amazing. Great show and the best restaurant at the resort. Portifino (Italian) and El Patio (Mexican) restaurants weren't bad. Coco Cafe also had great coffee and gelato. The Barefoot Grill by the pool also had good lunch but it was the same everyday - burgers, sausages, quesadillas and wraps. We did the Mega Combo excursion through Swiss Travel. It was amazing! Best experience ever. The package came with hiking, natural water slide, zip lining, horseback riding, mud bath and volcanic hot springs! Definitely worth the experience for sure. Overall, we are very happy with our decision to go to Dreams for our honeymoon.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana

The resort and staff were of high calibur! Although, in comparison to most resorts, I would say that the rooms were on an average scale. The pools were large and it was always easy to find chairs or areas in which some degree of isolation could be found from other vacationers. If you elected to upgrade your package, we found that the benefits did not seem worth the money! There are two smaller private pools (1 adult only pool, and 1 family pool), a choice or premium alcohol (still watered dow [... read more]n) and rooms stated as having an Ocean view. But, the Ocean view is still obscured by multiple Palm trees ( in our case the trees were only a few feet from the balcony, so we could not see anything but the family pool below, from the third floor). The resort is very clean and maintained very well! We had no concerns of any bugs, dirt, sand, or other distractions. The food (a la cart) was top notch and very tasteful in both flavour and presentation. The buffet food was satisfying and had plenty of options to choose from, the restaurants were all well maintained, cultural, and comfortable. The Beach was well maintained, but due to the coral reef a fee hundred meters off shore, all seaweed, dead fish, or other algee, and Ocean wash-up, was contained along the entire beach line. Therefore swimming is a risk one has to accept while waist deep in murky brown waters. Plus due to these contained issues, there is always a strong odor of dwad fish and wroten eggs (mostly noticeable in the mornings before the resort staff are actioned to clean the beach front). As this is not the resorts fault, I do not discredit them in any way! They did their best to clean up the sand and water from mother nature's dowel balance. SCUB was of the best quality and aquatic life I have seen from a resort in which we launched right from the beach at the resort. Prices of excursions are all a set price (but negotiable)..... There were plenty of options to choose from but the prices were a bit high. Boarder a deal with the representative if you have a group of people going all at once. Entertainment has a few mixed opinions... There were always activites ongoing, but at a very moderate budget. The resort only played local music, which some may find alluring, but it was hard to dance to if you preferred popular mainstream music. Poolside activities were always ongoing, from yoga to volleyball matches. They were not distracting to anyone just wishing for some quiet time either. As the poll's shape and size allowed a bit of isolation from the noise and visuals. In summary, if you enjoy taking in the resorts (local feel) then you will enjoy this place. If you are a beach bum, then this is not for you. Due to the stagnant waters, the resort had a constant strong odor of dead fish and rotten eggs. Very noticeable on the first day, but you get used to it very quickly and only notice it in the morning when exiting your room. The resort was clean, had great food, and adequate services. It is a great resort if you want to spend a low budget.

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: Amazing service

Everything's perfectttt--food, drinks, room, service and place. The only thing I would suggest is to have a later closing time on the swimming pools and they should something at night outdoors for the adults-- open swimminh pool/bars, music outdoor.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Great Resort

Dreams was great. Immaculate resort, great food, awesome excursions and friendly staff. The resort including the rooms were extremely clean and the cafe has great coffee, donuts and cakes. Overall we all had lots of fun!

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Excellent resort

Room was very clean Bed very comfortable. Food was very good. Service excellent. Would return. The beach had too much seaweed. That was the only complaint. But when we told front desk they offered a shuttle for hotel next door to use.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Dreams Punta Cana May 22-May 29

Pros: Affordable, nice weather, awesome pool, good activities, great entertainment, pevonia spa Cons: Loud resort- hard to sleep, terrible beach area (unusable), no hot tubs or adult-only area, limited food options between 4pm-6pm and 11am-12:30pm. Verdict: We wouldn't go back. We learned alot about what we want out of our vacations! Next time, we'll pay more!

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Very Nice and Clean Resort worth visiting

We took a last minute trip and this was a second choice given since the one that we wanted was no longer available, I was a bit skeptic about it but it turn out to be a great experience. The hotel is not huge which it is great for us, I hate the big hotels, the food was delicious and the drinks were also great. For some of the more picky drinker, you can dish out some money and get more choices, they have French, Spanish, Americans and German wines, the prices ranges. the place is kept in an immaculate state thanks to the army of personnel that are always cleaning the place, even after a shower, they come up and start cleaning just to start raining again, once it stops, out they go again cleaning the place, kudos for such a huge effort to keep the place spotless. The only drawback was all the weed that wash ashore, nothing that they have any saying about it since it was mother's nature but they had a lot of people and heavy machinery cleaning up the place, amazing that in the last day the beach was completely clean. I have nothing but a great experience, it was the first time that I have visited the DREAMS chain and probably now it will be the one that I will look for on my next trip, which they don't have in Ixtapa, which it's my next trip next month. My recommendation is that you should visit this place, it is worth it; kudos to all the personnel from all departments, entertainment, restaurants, cleaning, bars, all of them deserve a high five for such a great job.

Dreams Playa Bonita Panama: Small, nice but needs update.

Nice place but needs update. They should lower the price if they need more costumers; the hotel was almost empty therefore some services were affected. The two restaurants were nice & the food was well presented & good. Not much to do except eat, swim only in the pool; due to tides the ocean (Pacific) was not accessible for swimming. The staff were pleasant & willing to help.

*The resort was very nice - grounds were well kept. *The staff were very friendly but most spoke very little English. *The food was quite good and lots of variety. *There were ample loungers so no need to get up early to reserve one. *Standard rooms were very small. *It was very difficult to understand the announcer for the entertainment. *Great service at the restaurants and bars. *Loved the 1/4 mile long pool with pool loungers but the pool was very dirty.

Beautiful resort! Food is good and lots to choose from. The drive from Punta Cana was great in a van with just my husband and myself. Highway drive so the hour goes quickly. The resort is new so the employees are still getting themselves settled in. They try hard and work hard. We had no problems. We were Preferred Club and were upgraded to a suite in Bldg 65. It was centrally located and perfect for us. I will definitely return!

Dreams Riviera Cancun: It doesn't get much better that this

Whether you a family or a couple, this resort caters to both. Young family pool area, entertainment pool and an adult pool and swim up bar by the ocean. Multiple theme dining experiences and great evening entertainment.

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: Outstanding facility

Dreams Sands has the best beach in all of Cancun...We have stayed at many different resorts all throughout Cancun & Mayan Riviera and nothing compares...And of course the service, food, facility is what we come to expect at AM Resorts,,,,excellent!!!!!!!!

Dreams Huatulco: Relaxing week of pure sunshine

Recently returned form the Dreams Huatulco resort after a week of total relaxation. Found the resort to be very clean with great staff. Knowing ahead of time the beach situation with regards to the undertow and extra caution when swimming we were very comfortable around the pool areas and beach days were relaxing listening to the waves crashing. Comfortable and clean rooms however the resort is showing its age. Food options were good and though we never went hungry the choices were not outstand [... read more]ing compared to our visit last year at the neighboring Barcelo Huatulco. We did find we were often rushed through our dining experiences even when the Al a cartes were not busy. It was as if once you've ordered everything arrived one course after another with little time to spare in between. All in all a good resort, the price was a little higher than we've paid for those I'd rank higher, but we were not disappointed.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Pretty OK.

The Hotel Grounds were good, and well maintained. The adults only pool in the preferred section was missing tiles. Rooms were dated, clock did not work, furniture showing age and wear. Not a resort for couples...this is a family resort.

Dreams Dominicus La Romana: Great Resort!

Lovely little hotel with great pools and beach. We upgraded to preferred status and had a room with a private pool. Pool was nice but mostly in the shade. As preferred, we also had access to a special section of beach with nice shade huts. An added bonus was no saving of chairs until after 9 a.m. As a preferred guest we were able to enjoy a smaller breakfast and lunch buffet which was quite nice. Great place for rest and relaxation!

Dreams Huatulco: Great resort

This is my 3rd time to Huatulco. This is the first time I travelled without my spouse. This is an extremely safe area of Mexico. The people are genuinely friendly and kind. We had a wonderful time even taking a taxi into town and wandering on our own. The dreams resort is well layer out with 2 adult only pools.
