Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Amazing Resort
The resort and our room was clean, food was great, beach was amazing, staff incredible and took care of anything we asked. A great destination for anyone. The daily jerk chicken hut is always a treat. Plenty of a la carte restaurants and the buffet has something for everyone.
Riu Ocho Rios: Awesome Vacation
We had a great time at Riu Ocho Rios. It was our first time staying at a Riu property and we would go back in a heartbeat. The staff was amazing ( Tamesha Sheryl and Silanthia) stood out to us for great service. Food, Beach, Staff, Entertainment, Cleanliness. This resort set the bar. Thank you Louise Endean @ tripcentral .
Riu Santa Fe: Amazing resort
Nice, clean resort. Friendly people working hard in the resort. You can find many different programs. You can choose from excellent dishes. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Our two weeks here were very pleasant. We will definitely come back to this resort
Riu Montego Bay: RIU Montego Bay Resort
Let me start by saying that my wife and I were very disappointed with the RIU Montego Bay resort. The food was not at all what we had expected most always it was cold and was not properly heated and when it sits there for a while it was not very desirable. The food did not have any flavor very bland and not appealing. We tried all the different restaurants and it was pretty much the same. In fact we ate off the hotel as much as we could. One of the only experience that was good was the fligh [... read more]
Riu Montego Bay: Amazing getaway
Hotel and grounds are kept beautiful. It didn’t matter what time you got to the beach or pool, there were always enough chairs for everyone. The food was very plentiful and always a good variety at the buffet. We tried all the al a carts, and they were all very good with great service. The entertainment group were present all day long mingling with guests and were fun to be around. The evening shows were excellent including the Michael Jackson show where the choreography was second to none. Riu [... read more]
Riu Playa Blanca: Good for the Price !
The hotel was clean and maintained well - cleanliness of the rooms and other common areas as well as the grounds/gardens. Food: The buffet was good and had many options and well replenished. Staff worked very hard to ensure that the tables were cleaned and guests were served in time. In comparison, the a la carte restaurants were not that great. Staff were good at their job but did not understand very much English and catered more to Spanish speaking. The but food was not that good i [... read more]
Riu Latino: Riu Latino
Resort is beautiful, long sandy beach, water little rough but did not prevent us from swimming in the ocean. Resort is clean, well maintained, food no complain, service excellent. Rooms spacious; air conditioning working perfect, cleaning service excellent. All in all great vacation!
Riu Montego Bay: Good place to be
Like it a lot .good food . Service 200 characters to enter is to much for pearson whos inglish is broken I liked this place but i am not story writer What a stupid boy build this app??? But place is worth to come back
Riu Dunamar: Not a senior friendly resort.
We had to walk 500 steps to get to the elevator from our room. The stairs were near but it was hard for my husband to use those. He is 85 years old and has Alzheimer’s. The dining area floor seemed to be slippery in some spots and I know I had to be careful not to walk fast. > Room lights were all very bright, so reading in bed was not fun. Corridors were very poorly lit. I even found the toilets rather far to take my husband who needed to go frequently. The oceanfront view was very nice [... read more]
Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Resort & Food
We were there April 2nd to 9th, 2024 & enjoyed the many amenities offered! The grounds are very clean and our room was lovely, clean and quiet. The beach was amazing. The entertainment was very good and the programs during the day were a lot of fun. I did the aqua-fit numerous times and we participated in other events (kayak competition, which was a hoot, & karaoke, which was a lot of fun too). The main food was very good, however, the major complaint I have is there were almost zero gluten [... read more]
Riu Playa Blanca: Amazing resort
The report is very big but it’s lay out is awesome everything is very close The restaurants are amazing great food and great service The walk’s on the beach beautiful clean and smooth the ocean is alittle rough but it’s still swim able Lots of activities at the pools for the kids and adults
Riu Palace Antillas: Resort is beautiful
First time to Aruba and was everything I've read about it,the resort was amazing, clean rooms, awesome food, friendly staff and great nightly shows, will definitely return to this resort, Went off the resort to Baby beach and it was great, water is crystal clear and clean, also went snorkeling and saw an octopus and many tropical fish and sea turtles.
Riu Palace Antillas: Pretty Good
My wife and I spent a week in April at the Riu Palace Antillas and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The resort is in a great location with amazing oceanfront views and the town right out the front entrance. The room was immaculate and I can’t say enough about the service. From the maids to the waiters to the bartenders everyone was phenomenal, very impressed. My only negative would be that the food isn’t up to par in my opinion. There’s a lot of it but it’s average at best with some of it being dow [... read more]
Riu Negril: Wonderful escape
We had a lovely week of sunshine and relaxation. Our wonderful agent must have somehow pulled strings to have gotten us the accomodations that we ended up with. We were able to get right into our room and the location was superb. Due to medical issues, I could not go into the ocean nor walk on the beach which we love doing both. The location was approximately 40 feet from the start of the beach and close to the beach bar. There I could sit on my little perch and watch all the beach and water [... read more]
Riu Palace Baja California: Beautiful Resort
Rooms were very modern, contemporary and clean. The cleaning staff were awesome, in fact all staff were 'on it' ... in the restaurants, at the front desk, bars, drink carts/bartenders at the pools, etc. A very well kept resort. The food was excellent and if you went to dinner from 5:30 to 7:00 you were not in line since reservations are not needed. The buffet was also a great option. In the morning we were greeted for our breakfast by very friendly staff and prompt service. The only thing [... read more]
Riu Latino: Decent resort
Very clean. Friendly staff. Food options are limited but there is something for everyone. We had a hard time getting bottles of water, had to call down several times to get some...There is a lack of bathrooms and ways to get drinks. And basically zero food after 10pm. Had a great time, but would probably goto a different place next time or different RIU.
Riu Ocho Rios: Amazing Beach
This was our 3rd stay at this resort, first since the renovations. The food, the beach, the pools, the drinks were all excellent. Great snorkeling right there at the resort. The difference between now 2024 and then 2013 prior to the renovations for us was a noticable decline in client services. The hotel changes their staff on a daily basis, thus impossible to create a liaison with a server or bartender to know what and how you like your drinks or table. The staff never said hello and 70% of the [... read more]
Riu Republica: Average Resort
The rooms need some upgrades. We had issues with the shower not draining properly, the phone not working, and mold in the shower and room. Staff were somewhat able to assist but requests had to be repeated.
Riu Santa Fe: Great resort
Great people and staff, food and service was excellent, big resort but designed perfectly were everything is within 5 minutes walking distance, beautiful beach and water slides for kids and adults. Entertainment shows we’re fantastic for whole family. Weather was just perfect
Riu Flamingos: Great Vaca
Hotel was beautiful clean helpful staff Gorgeous beach, can walk for miles along Pacific Great entertainment at night Although a lot going on at times still could relax quietly and read Front desk and bell hops so helpful of where to go off resort
