Secrets Huatulco: Wonderful resort.

We loved this resort. We booked a swim out suite and thought it was well worth the money. Will do it again. The resort was beautiful and very clean. The pools were beautiful but noticed that most chairs were taken with towels early in the morning. There has got to be some way to regulate that as people drape their towels on the chair and then leave them empty for hours. There was an active pool and a quiet pool which is awesome. Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort: Great Resort

The layout of the resort was good, just enough walking to burn off calories gained during the week. The amenities, room cleanliness, staff friendliness was excellent. The only negative was service during the nightly dinners. There were quite a few corporate events during the week that we were there, which took away some staff. That combined with shutting down one of the restaurants each night, limited the remaining restaurants that guests could go to eat. This created a backlog of seating [... read more] availability at the remaining open restaurants. Although the food was okay, service was very slow due to being under staffed. I will say that that the staff that were working those limited restaurants were pleasant & helpful.

Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort: Beautiful Resort

The resort was very well maintained, the grounds were amazing. Very scenic area and close to many things to do. The beach area is used very little. Service was very good, especially waiter service around the pool area. The food is average, not as good as other Secret Resorts.

Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort: A bit dissapointed

My husband and I with 2 other couples stayed at Secrets Los Cabos Feb 25 to March 4. We have stayed at other Secrets and have been thrilled. Unfortunatley not at this property. Firstly the property itself is beautiful and very clean and well maintained. In the restaurants the food was not up to par, very average, not 5 star worthy at all. Breakfast and lunch great dinner not so much. This resort also catered to several conventions while we were there. These events seemed to take away staff  [... read more]from the regular guests. The severs and wait staff are great but there needdd to be more of them. Lastly the sheets on my bed were of a lesser quality. When i half stripped the bed hoping for new sheets the maid only just re-made the bed with the same sheets.

Secrets Huatulco: 5 Star resort

We just got back from a week at Secrets Hualtulco!! We had a great vacation, this resort is a 5 Star as is all the Staff that work there, groundskeepers, house keeping all the way up to Management. The Food is Top shelf as well as the Booze!! Do yourself a favour and try this place, you will be glad you did.

Secrets The Vine Cancun: excellent resort

Beautiful view Everything was excellent and very clean. staff was great. food was amazing. Best honeymoon ever. also I would go back to this resort if I have a chance to go on vacation again. thanks to air transat also.

Secrets Huatulco: So Relaxing!

A great hotel in a fabulous setting with super staff. Can't say enough good things about this vacation. Every room has an oceanview and you can hear the crashing waves from every corner of the reaort. So relaxing!

We ordered from the room service menu and even ordered other items not listed and there was no problem. They said thirty minutes, we didn't think it would happen but it did each and every time within thirty minutes. They have a hidden cubby door in the cupboard so the waiter can actually put your order into your room without entering the room, which is great if you don't want to be disturbed. As for the pool area there was a lot of room available even after 7am, we didn't worry about getting a good spot, there were plenty available at each pool. The ocean was amazing, they actually built three palappa's during the night while we were there. The resort felt very safe, we even went out daily for a walk or run, the nearest neighbour was 2 km away in either direction. We took a morning ride to the shopping town of La Crucicitta, which was also a very pleasant experience. The highlight of our trip was our massage at the spa. They put us through a hydro therapy circuit pool, (amazing), followed by a eighty minute hot stone massage. The whole experience lasted three hours. Laura, we just want to say thank you again for making our vacation a special one and one that we won't soon forget. We will definitely be returning to that resort.

Secrets Aura Cozumel: Great staff... not the bang for our buck

Staff was excellent, friendly, dedicated. Food was tremendous. Entertainment less than expected. Beach was difficult to walk, reefs were remarkable for scuba and snorkel. Some sewage smell on grounds. Overall overpriced in Can dollars/ better deals from US but a week of sun always welcome in Feb.

Secrets Papagayo Resort: Terrific Resort, Awful insects!

The staff were wonderful, consistently gracious, friendly and helpful. The food was uniformly good - lots of variety, exceptional cleanliness and meticulous preparation. We had minor problems with extremely spicy food at Himitsu. Another 1 or 2 restaurants on the property would benefit longer-term visitors. The shuttle service was also surprisingly efficient, and the drivers cheerful. Our bigger complaint was the biting insects, inside and out, everywhere! We all got hundreds of bites, w [... read more]hich itched and stung and lasted for days. Worse, there was no warning from Secrets so we could have come prepared with antihistamine creams or tablets. This, combined with the jellyfish infestation in the bay, left us some days wanting neither to sunbath or swim in the sea! Rather awkward for a tropical holiday!

Secrets Huatulco: Very nice resort

Very clean, very big resort. Attentive staff! Loved no wrist band, no dinner reservations and great hours for all meals, i.e. breakfast until 11:00, lunch until 5:00, dinner until 10:30, plus 24 hour room service. Sprained ankle on morning walk and they got me ice no problem.

Secrets Cap Cana: Beautiful Resort

This is a beautiful adult only facility. The rooms are well appointed. The rooms, common areas and grounds are all kept very clean. The food in the restaurants was fantastic! One thing that stood out was the friendliness of all of the staff, regardless of their role.

This was fourth Secrets resort for us and it is not the best one. I am not very picky about anything but for the money we paid it would be nice to get better service and food. I am not saying it was bad just not the best. I think we have been spoiled with our first Secrets Silversand. All I can say about this resort itself is beautiful, rooms are awesome, grounds are amazing but that is all. Front desk service was good but cleaning service was bad and we have to ask for maid to come and clean  [... read more]our room because it would not be clean properly. Maid would just come and make our bed, put clean towels and that was it. The floor was not clean and you can see dust everywhere for a few days until I ask for it and they have respond to it. The pool is great, infinity pool very nice and quite but beach is not swimable at all. Also our Nexus representative was seen only when we arrived and we have not seen her again, she was not showing up at hotel whole week so we had to find out everything by ourself including excursion we have done and which we would recommend, glass bottom boat, awesome. I would recommend this resort but would never pay the same money for it because it is not worth it. Saying that if you get seven days for $1700 go for it but more that that is not worth it. I have to say that buffet restoraunt was the best for the service and Italian for the food and services. The entertainment was very good, they do not have a stage like every other resort instead it is done on the terrace of the buffet restaurant and it was really nice set up so you can have a supper and watch show. The magic fire was awesome and something I have not seen yet, they have done a great job all dudes to them.

Secrets Wild Orchid: Fantastic Vacation in celebration of our upcoming 50th wedding anniversary

From the minute we arrived at the resort, we were catered to. Our room was extraordinary. The ocean was literally about 40 feet from the steps below our room. We found the staff to be helpful in all things. If we asked directions to a restaurant, they wouldn't just give directions they would actually walk us there. The hotel itself was beautiful and extremely clean. We did have an issue with the bed: it was too soft and not what we are used to. I suppose everything can't be perfect. Secrets Huatulco: Incredible resort!

This resort is top notch, everything was excellent and we can't wait to go back! This was our 4th time to Mexico and this resort was by far the best. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was great, the room was awesome, especially with the view of the ocean. You won't be disappointed staying here.

Secrets Wild Orchid: Secerts wild Orchid

We think the hotel was great and the food was even better. The beach was a little small and when they finish the third building this could make the beach very crowded. The people there were the very best.

Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya: quiet stay

we just got back from our restful holiday at Akumal Secrets. we could not say enough about this resort. the best beaches for snorkelling, saw; turtles,stingray, many small fish and not far off shore. the reef was so nice therefore no waves even on a windy day. the down part of this lovely beach is that it is public so there were snorkel tours from 9 a.m till 5 p.m and they sat right on the beach in front of you all day...with kids. the rooms were very nicely made up, jaccuzi large shower, toilet [... read more] room was interesting...no privacy...not sound proof if that bothers you!!! we had a swim up so very nice at the end of the day to just float outside your room. food was very good, no need for reservations except as the Asian one where they cook in front of you, even when we went into the Asian restaurant to just eat off the menu they offered us a place at the entertainment table because it was not full. speaking of which...the resort was VERY quiet, pools empty, restaurants empty,rooms empty...we could nor figure this out, maybe recession maybe the price. Because the resort is definitely a 5 star. I would highly recommend this place, very friendly staff. Just don't get sucked into their time share at check in. just say no....the coupon book isn't even worth the pitch. the resort is also over an hour from the airport but in the day its nice to see the landscape.

Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun: 6 OUT OF 5 STARS

We have visited 6 very nice resorts previously in the Mayan... Secrets Maroma is the BEST of a very good lot! It was beautiful and first class... snow white beach, brilliant teal and vibrant blue ocean, beautiful grounds, pools, lots of space, great entertainment, fantastic food (repeat fantastic!) and amazing staff. Secrets Aura Cozumel: our trip to Gozumel secrets resort

The Staff & food was very nice not much Mexican authentic meals . We had beautiful weather the view from our room was good .Layout of resort was nice we only found out later in our week that the joining resort was also included in our package.. Very disappointed in the snorkeling travel agent informed us of great snorkeling .. not true we took part of a snorkeling tour where we where all 30 told to stay in close proximities ... Again al I saw where other snorkelers fins & legs worst trip ever [... read more] I have traveled for the last 10 years to different places I would return to CUBA before going back to Mexico half the money not as commercialized better snorkeling & same level of food experience

This resort was absolutely beautiful. The food was awesome and service was great. Especially Ricardo and izzy at the swim up bar fantastic guys. The rooms were exceptionally clean. From the minute we arrived the staff was great everywhere
