Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Family Vacation at our Cuba Paradise

This our 4th visit to PPDM, we absolutely love this place. This year we brought our 2 sons and their spouses for a true family holiday. At this resort everything is within a short walk and easy to get around. We feel like family to the staff here, everyone is happy to see us, and we feel love. We have made warm friendships with 4 different staff members over the years, we look forward to seeing them each visit. Please remember, this is Cuba. They are having tough times, from embargoes, a fail [... read more]ing power grid, and storms. They are making the best of what they have. We always bring gifts to help them in their everyday life, and they are so appreciative! There is an abundance of good food, drinks, amazing music by wonderful musicians, and a stunning beach. The rooms and resort is extremely clean, the grounds immaculate. it is a short bus ride to the airport. We will be back again next year!

Starfish Varadero: Good resort for the price

This hotel was a good bang for the buck. The grounds were well maintained and looked after. The staff were friendly, with or without a tip and I found that the staff in the buffet were exceptionally attentive especially with the crap they deal with from rude tourists. I found that nothing was lacking with regard to food, water and electricity. We had a superior room which was fine....nothing extravagant but had a nice bathroom, great mattresses, working tv and fridge and a balcony. The only thing I would do different is book a bungalow next time ....closer to beach, own eating area and less steps. Overall, we were very pleased with our $800 vacation.

Hî everything was good ´for the hotel just with sun wing i take upgrade for seat elite plus and it’s worst service I have ´I pay 140.00 for service and I pay for no service thsnks norm 514 895 6185 and they sell seat for 30.00 on the plane si I been screwed

Sirenis Tropical Varadero: Terrific Suite!

We traveled from January 21-28, 2025 and it was our first time at the Sirenis tropical. The lobby was beautiful and the resort had two different sections of different pool styles for you to enjoy. À la carte restaurants were good, but not spectacular. Buffet always had lots of fresh fruit and cheese, real eggs and bacon every day! A solid four star resort in my opinion and I have traveled to Cuba nine times.

Melia Las Americas: Very good resort

We stayed in the main hotel (not the Level section) in which the rooms are a bit outdated but the lobby is very nice. The rooms were cleaned every day the bedding and towels replaced. The mini bar was stocked with beer, water and pop daily. We received a nice bottle of Havana Club rum because we were repeated customers which was a nice touch. The beach was clean and plowed every other day and it had plenty of sun beds. We had a great vacation with not much to complain. The only thing I would suggest is to have better quality of alcohol choices like whiskey, vodka, etc. What you have right now and last year on the same period are the cheapest options (whiskey from India which is pure alcohol with some color). Also the wine options in all the restaurants were of very cheap poor quality. Otherwise everything was fine. Thank you MLA!

Grand Aston Varadero Beach Resort: THE BEACH

Soooo, this is what everyone has been talking about. THE BEACH. When it's wavy because of the drop off which levels back out in a few meters, the waves pumble you into the rocks right at/under the shore line and have a VERY difficult time getting out. Melia Internacional: Amazing resort

Nice Rooms ,very well equipped with Daly necessities,excellent room service. Good food and easy axesss to pool beach and restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful all the time tours available to vara and Havana at a decent price.

Hotel Los Cactus: nice cuban hotel

we visited the los cactus hotel in jan 25 the hotel ground and beach are beautiful .the service try out the resort was excellent and beautiful large rooms . if you have the desire for a large amount of food like a cruise ship you may be a little disappointed however the food was tasty and clean and always serviced with a smile we have travelled many many times to many caribbean resorts and this will not be a disappointment if you realize you are in cuba and not in the maya mexico and you paid on [... read more]ly 1/3 the cost to have the beautiful cuba people smile at you everyday

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Varadero: For Cuba the food was the best I ever had.

For the most part, the resort was fantastic. A little dated but overall had no issues whatsoever. The food was excellent. Safe always amazing. Local Musicians entertain the guest every nite at the bar, and sometimes even at lunch time. The beach 5 *. Never ran out of toilet paper, ketchup a plenty…..for the price paid…can’t asked for better.

Melia Las Americas: Varadero Golf Vacation

Just home from Melia Las Americas. It was not our first time at this resort. Our room was dated, but had a beautiful view, as we had booked, and was spotless everyday. Our housekeeping was awesome!! The food was hot and plentiful and very good. Lots of drinks, and even though they ran out of a couple of mixes, there was always something else to choose from. Staff was very friendly . We probably picked the worst week of the year, as we didn’t get to enjoy the ocean or the sun.. no fault  [... read more]of the hotel. The golf however was great, fun course to play and again the staff was great!! My favorite must have been the early morning coffee at the sports bar..great guys and always lots of smiles and awesome coffee! Hopefully next time we will have the sun and the ocean!!

Starfish Cuatro Palmas: Best of both worlds

We had the pleasure of staying at starfish cuatro Palmas in Varadero. Great friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food, big chooses and varieties. Beautiful beach ⛱️ and near by town with plenty of restaurants, bars, nightclub and wonderful park. Will definitely recommend and go back to enjoy

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Great Resort, Great People, Great Vacation Spot

This is my second time to Varadero and first time at this resort. The staff were amazing, the food was good, the rooms were clean and beach was spectacular. If you are considering a trip to Cuba, I would highly recommend this resort.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Wonderful Resort!

Quicly check in. Very well kept grounds, trees, gardens and cleanness, not showing it's 23 years old. Beach is amazing! Rooms (ours) no complains about our bed and AC, never run out of hot water, and excellent water flow, never run out of drinking water in the fridge. Buffet very repetitive, but abundant on everything including wine, cloth napkins, (something I haven't seen in a long time) waiter and waitress very attentive, unfortunatly if you are not on diamond club you are unable to reserve  [... read more]a specialty restaurant. Great Sunwing flights and kind flight attedants. Overall, great 7 days!

Starfish Varadero: Nothing but issues!

We had so many issues with our room including no air conditioner first night, air conditioner filters were disgusting, safe never worked, doors were hard to open and lock, toilet didn’t flush regularly, water for showers was cold or lukewarm, spiders and webs all over bungalow (was bit by one), only provided one larger towel initially, outside lights did not work. The hotel had limited wine and spirits especially no tequila. A la carte service was poor and trying to get into the Italian one was  [... read more]near impossible. Food was limited although not a deal breaker as this is understandable and we did not starve. Not having wine at the buffet is a deal breaker for an all inclusive. Tried to change into different room the first couple of nights and they did not have another room available. Spent way too much time at front desk, with Sunwing rep and customer service while trying to enjoy vacation.

Iberostar Selection Varadero: Great Resort and Staff!!!

Just got back from a week at this resort and had a great time. There were no shortages for us on anything, food was good. The staff at this resort are amazing from the front desk to the gardeners. I would like to shout out Eli and Yanelis, servers in the lobby bar. Such great welcoming service and smiles, they really go above and beyond for you. I would definately go back to this resort again and would recommend to anyone.

Memories Jibacoa: We Loved It

The resort is older but clean The resort is also small so the distance to the beach or main lobby is not far. This resort is for those who want a quiet relaxing vacation.No loud music on the beach or pool. We also liked the fact that the lounge chairs were on the beach rather than having guys set up chairs for you every morning. Snorkelling was amazing right off the beach.They also had tennis and pickle ball. Food was very good with a large variety including chicken and beef. Never a shortage of [... read more] eggs. Bar was well stocked. Our only complaint was no stationary bike in the gym and the guys who took care of the catamaran always had an excuse why they could not take you out. Would definitely recomend this resort.

Sol Caribe Beach: Excellent vacation

Sol Caribe is a wonderful place that suits us very much. Excellent service all around and the room was very nice and spacious. Always something to choose from the buffet and of grounds and the beach were fantastic. This was our second visit in less than a year and plan to be back again!
