Grand Park Royal Cozumel: Amazing Resort

The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The service was great, all employees very friendly. The food was great and there was always something to eat during the day/night. The location of the resort was great, very close to the airport as well as downtown. Lots of activities to do on the resort as well as nearby. Would definitely travel back again.

Grand Park Royal Cozumel: Yes, Amazing Resort

We had a wonderful time at Park Royal Cozumel. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The food was great and much variety. The pools and hot tubs were wonderful and the view was amazing with the cruise ships so close. Snorkelling was great. Our room and bathroom was very spacious and always clean. We loved it all.

Sunscape Sabor Cozumel: depends what you expect

our stay was great overall. When we arrived we didn't have a king size bed which we requested. It took 2 nights to get one. We were a little bit upset a first, but we got a room we were right on the beach, maybe 100 ft from the ocean. Rooms were clean (micro ants. 1.5 mm long, but who can keep them out). The part of the beach thats not in the water was ok. The part thats in the water was rocky. Its cozumel what can you expect. May not be the best for kids but if you snorkel its great. The staff was always friendly. Overall we had a great time. Not a five star but it wasn't advertised as one. Great value for your money.

Zel Cozumel: Fantastic Resort

We loved this place. The grounds are nicely kept and it was very clean. The beach was quiet and the drinks were cold. Just the way we like it! The nightly entertainment was fantastic, especially the Mayan Reciew. We so enjoyed William aka "Batman" from activation! We will return.

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Great resort except for the beach

Food was good. The grounds were very well maintained and the rooms were nice. Pool area is well laid out and the resort is just the right size. Beach was coral and you could not walk out to swim had to use the peer in front of the dive shop to access the water.

Allegro Cozumel: Very Relaxing Resort!

The grounds were really well maintained. The food was good. Bacon for breakfast everyday would have been a plus. We had to ask for it because it was not accessible and most days told no. A bar fridge in the room fully stocked would have made our stay more enjoyable. The water and soda were warm and no beer.

Fiesta Americana Cozumel: opening issues

this was our 3rd time in cozumel and 10th time in the mayan area we arrived at night and so missed on the typical greeting you would get in the morning. check in was quick and efficient. we had to come back in the morning for a 2nd room key? we were brought to our room and there was no explanation of the amenities ie where the safe was, all the lighting the room itself was on the 6th floor with an amazing view of the ocean. It doesn't have a typical bathroom, there is a room for the toilet, a separate glass enclosed shower, ours didn't leak, and a sink. the bed was new nice and large, the tv is a 40+ smart led tv, i wish i had brought my hd cable to hook up my computer there isn't a lot in english programming. the best feature besides the view of the ocean is the free wifi available in the room with excellent connectivity. there is a free safe and a daily restocked bar fridge with beer and pop. there is no coffee maker as i saw advertised on there website.there is a coffee bar in the lobby. the sunsets were something to see (see pics attached). the cons were i found the air con loud and the street in front of the room had a lot of traffic in the morning affecting the sleep quality The weather all week was fantastic and the ocean calm the beach is across the street what i like to call a "sandbox beach" it is 40 yards by 20 yards and man made. we never had an issue getting a chair because they figure out the chair war problem by giving each chair a beach umbrella so you always had shade. it would be nice if the umbrella was more adjustable for when the sun moved. there are 3 places to get food on the beach. the seafood hut (i don't eat seafood but I heard people say the food was excellent) a hamburger, fries hut excellent and the main buffet. the food was so so however the biggest issue was the common flies there were too many going after the bread, fruit and desserts, only the bread was covered. all of the service and servers at the resort were excellent from the beach, pool, buffet and ala cartes. the reason we come to cozumel is for the snorkelling. the snorkelling in front of the beach was great. we saw many different types of fish and baracudas. the only issues i had was the access into the water is difficult going down stairs into and out of the water, i didn't have issues but i can see other people have issues. there is a little bay but has corral instead of sand. the other issue is the buoys that limit where you should snorkel is not defined, it should continue all the way to the dock such that boats coming in should only use one side. i had a boat come into the bay and basically circled me almost as a joke. i told the lifeguard about this and explained that if there would have been children or inexperienced snorkellers this could be a major accident in the making. we ate at 2 of the ala cartes the italian and mexican. the food was good. i ordered the beef tenderloin and found the portion way too big. there were no reservations required which was nice we never had to wait. there was an excellent mayan show one night at he beach buffet. except for the mayan show there was no nightlife. a 3 piece band with a singer to allow dancing each night would be an inexpensive nice touch. this resort mostly caters to divers so i guess they don't require a lot of nightlife. fyi they don't offer an intro to diving at the resort??? i found the bartenders at the lobby bar not as friendly as some of the servers. The biggest issue i had was the stairs. it would be nice if they didn't exist, ramps instead but they should be easier to see ie yellow paint at the end of each step. the marble blends to easily. they have the curbs painted this way in front of the resort. the stairs at the beach almost got me one day there white and harder to id if you're not paying attention ie looking at the beach. this resort was in close proximity to CHAKANAAB park and my wife and i walked both ways one day. the admission was $20 but i had bought a snuba excursion from the resort the day before so our admission was $13 each. it has great snorkelling a great beach and a number of activities. it would be nice if they had deal with the resort i probably would not return to this resort, we like going to different places. i can see it appealing to other people.

Allegro Cozumel: Nice property but the food could be better

The hotel and grounds are clean and well kept. The room had some issues although not worth mentioning. The beach was great although it was really annoying to find most of the lounges reserved with towels before 7am. Quite often nobody showed up to use them until late morning if at all. This is not the fault of the resort, but of our fellow travelers. The pools were nice and kept very clean. The big disappointment was the food. At  [... read more]breakfast I saw someone ask for bacon and it was delivered to their table, but it wasn't offered at the buffet, only hot dogs. Breakfast usually looked like the night before's left overs and usually cold. The Asian and Mexican a la carte's were very good. The staff work hard and try to look after everyone's needs but there aren't enough of them.

Zel Cozumel: Great time!!!

The hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly. The beach was great. But the buffet wasn't tasty (but I'm picky). This was our first south beach vacation and I would recommend this resort to family and friends

Secrets Aura Cozumel: Nice quiet resort

Very nice room in the preference area. Limited restaurants but excellent food and no reservation requirement made it stress free. Good snorkelling and sailing right on the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful but not pushy. Enjoyed our stay.

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: ibostar-cozumel

This is an amazing resort. The staff works very hard to make every part of your stay a pleasure.The food is great. Rooms are in need of updates, but clean and reasonable. The grounds are amazing. The overall experience is excellent and all the positive far outway any negative.

Allegro Cozumel: great experience

The thatched roof in our room allowed us to wake to the sounds of birds! We did not hear any of our neighbour's at any time. The hammock on the balcony was fabulous. Laura kept our room very clean and was very pleasant each day. Food was good but not always hot at the buffet. The Mexican restaurant was excellent but can't say the same for the Italian. The grounds were well taken care of and the children's area looked amazing. Lots to do for them. The beach was great but walking was hard as the s [... read more]and is very soft. We booked a 2 hour tour with Albertos & it was well worth the money. Carlos and Jesus had us snorkelling with the nurse shark, star fish,barracuda and much much more.

Grand Park Royal Cozumel: good resort

Check in was smooth, room was clean but only 2 double beds. We were near the exit door to the stairs that banged every time some one went through it. I told front desk about the problem but it seemed they could not fix it. Stay off the second floor. The food was good not great some of the deserts went overboard on sugar. lots of time share sells people just say not interested and they will leave you alone. He will tell you that they are having a meeting after your first day but when we got there we noticed that there was no meeting but a line up of couples being hard sold on tours before you got your taxi chit to get back to the airport.

Allegro Cozumel: Fantastic vacation!

This resort is simply amazing!! I would go back anytime. I will recommend this place to my friends. Beautiful beach. The food was good, specially the restaurant a la carte. We received an excellent service. I loved the hamac on our room balcony.

Zel Cozumel: melia cozumel

It is a very good hotel, they have a very nice pool and the restaurants a la carte are excellent.The food is good but they don't have a lot of variety of food.There is only Mexican food there,and its a buffet so i suggest they put food from different countries it will be great.

Allegro Cozumel: could be a great place if better management

Rooms are OK they are clean but very basic. The grounds are not bad but if you you have a weak stomach you will not be able to take the smell of sewage. The food is very basic necessities. You have to ask for the most basic bacon and although you ask you may not always get it. The service is very very slow especially at the bar on the beach. You may have to wait 20 mins to get a drink. El Cozumeleno Beach: outstanding !!

When we first got out of the taxi it all started.the service was tremendous.when checking in i asked for an ocean view room and was upgraded.while we waited a few minutes for our ocean view room we toured the grounds.from that ,we knew we picked the right resort.the food was good as was the great service.we went snorkeling for about 2 and a half hours a day which was outstanding as we saw lots of different fish.all in all it was an outstanding vacation and i will be going back to the El Cozumele [... read more]no Beach Resort.

Allegro Cozumel: We enjoyed our stay at this resort

This was a good resort and we would return again. The grounds were clean and well kept. The food was usually good. The beach was great and open very calm. The only minor complaint was the line ups at the beach bar were usually long because it was the the only drink location open all day and only one server. There was a second person but they did very little each time I saw them, mostly just washing cups. In total we had a great time and would go back if the price was right.

Allegro Cozumel: Amazing stay

Staff, hotel, beach, food, WONDERFUL. we had a great time! Went down for our cousins 30th bday! Went into town a few times. The staff told us what to expect, what to pay for the taxi, etc. Very very friendly. I would come back to this resort yearly!
