Grand Palladium Kantenah: Simply incrediable

the Palladium Kantenah is an amazing resort. Always clean, pool washrooms cleaned on a regular basis, dining room quick turnovers. The Staff can't say enough about them, happy, willing to service, pleasant, smiling, always there when you need them. The al cart restaurants are delicious and a wide selection in the buffet. Aqua Excursions are simply incredible. They have an amazing staff and any beginner would feel comfortable, very knowledgeable and patience

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Love this place!!!!

Our third time here and it's even better than before!!! The food has improved greatly this year, not that it was ever bad, but it's even better than it was. I can't say enough about the kind and friendly staff, they are amazing!! Love the dive shop through Aqua Excursions. Took a 4 day course with them and then went back for more. Rudy, Chris, and Poncho were absolutely incredible instructors, I'd recommend them to anyone!!!! Already planning to return in the spring!!!

TRS Turquesa: TRS turquesa hotel

Spent 8 days at the hotel for my birthday week. When I arrived I was welcomed by the butler brought to my room where they had a banner and balloons. A great touch. The drinks room pool and food was great We had a wonderful week with sunshine and lots of activities

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Nice resort, excellent service and good times

We traveled the week of Nov 27th for a 7 nights stay. This was our 2nd stay at this resort. The resort is beautiful, clean and well kept. I was pleasantly surprised by the beach, the 1st time we traveled to this resort a few years ago we could not swim at all, too many waves, corals, rocks...This time the water was calmer and the ocean floor was sandy with lots of space to walk without getting hurt by corals and rocks, did not even have to wear water shoes! There are lots of stingrays though t [... read more]o watch out for! :-) The food at the "a la carte" restaurant was great and better than the buffet. We purchased a special package "Club Imperial..." and to be honest, I did not see the advantages that this special package provided us with, expect for the direct transportation from and to the Cancun airport. All other, supposedly benefits, like separate check in, beach towels easy access, restaurant reservations, better rooms, were superfluous, seeing other friends that traveled with us (who arrived the day before and did not purchase this special package) got all the same benefits at no extra charge, furthermore we got the same type of rooms, no better, than them! The riviera side of the resort was closed due to renovation, it is actually going to be transformed into a luxury adult only area, looking forward to it! The service from all staff we interacted with was excellent!! We definitely recommend this resort and will return for sure.

TRS Turquesa: Lovely Resort

My husband and I spent the last week of November at the Royal Suites Turquesa. The positives... The resort fit right into what we were looking for. Although part of the larger Palladium Hotel Chain, we found the Royal Suites to be a more intimate setting. We stayed in the main building which was only three stories and similar buildings surrounded the main pool area. We found the resort not to be too busy so there was always lots of lounging room by the pool or on the beach. There is a great lobby which was busy in the evening with live music and very popular with the guests. The not so positive: When we first arrived were given a room that appeared not to have been used recently and certainly wasn't checked thoroughly before we arrived. The WiFi wasnt working, the phone wasnt hooked up (infact it was an empty shell) and operating, there was no hot water and the location of the room was right beside a very busy and noisy public road. In the end we requested another room and encountered no other issues with our room. There seemed to be alot of soliciting on the premise..... '2 for 1 Spa Deals', trying to sell Time Share Packages. To be approached once, perhaps twice during the week is fine, but it was constant and every day. When we were checking out we were about to be charged for a bottle of champagne - which we had never received! It seemed to take the front desk ages to come to the conclusion that it was an error on the part of the housekeep staff. Overall, apart from our arrival and departure, our experience at the Royal Suites Turquesa was a positive one and I believe we would consider returning.

Grand Palladium Colonial: Beautiful Mayan

Nothing I am going to write will take away from the beauty of staying at Grand Palladium Colonial ! We booked well in advance to have a second floor room so as to leave our door open at night because we don't do well sleeping in air conditioning , but we were placed on the ground floor even though there were rooms available above us not in use . Our room assignment was made out without anyone looking at it and the person refused to make changes . This was reported to the manager who promised [... read more] to correct everything and look into the matter . Pedro , the front desk manager , offered to move us but four days in we opted to stay where we were rather than have the upheaval !! Our travel agent DID NOT inform us that Sunquest Vacations has no rep on site and therefore we had to make our own plans for excursions etc . I had to e-mail to Sunquest for our pickup times which we finally received only to have the bus run late and we barely made it to Cancun Airport by boarding time !! The beaches were great as always , the food very presentable , nice location on the Mayan Riviera . Not sure about our next vacation as the choices are numerous !! Trips like this are very expensive so please everyone make the traveller your top priority !!!

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Very nice trip

Exceptional staff. Good food. Good beds. Entertainment when wanted, quiet and relaxing when wanted. Rooms were a bit musty smelling but clean and well looked after. The exceptional staff in all areas of the resort were what made our trip most memorable! I travelled with my 85 yr old mother and the care and attention she was given could not be beat. Very family friendly.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Perfecto

Staff is incredible, great resort. Food is above average. Had a ocean view and was worth the money, resort views are amazing. The two different main pools were nice for variety. The ocean and ocean pool are nice, rooms are clean and stocked daily. The resort is currently under construction but is supposed to be done soon so it will be awesome. Lots of walking and stairs but knew that coming in. Nothing to complain about so that makes a wonderful trip. The staff is top notch and help make  [... read more]a good place great. Grand Palladium Palace: Disappointing!!

For starters, this was our 4Th time at this resort - I was very disappointed to learn that two of the top restaurants (Brazilian & Japanese) were under construction - With that being said, this is a stay at one and play at three resort, however both the Punta Cana and Bavaro lobbies were closed and under construction as well... There was a lot of construction throughout the resort from beach work to grounds work - Our room was on the ground floor facing the beach - The second day a crew start [... read more]ed digging a trench right outside of our room and this went on the entire stay so needless to say there was not much privacy or enjoyment sitting outside on the little room patio.. Restaurants - The first come, first serve was very frustrating with the above two restaurants being closed - The Royal Turquesa guests have the privilege to make reservations in advance - This made for extremely long waiting times for those staying at any of the other three properties. I had asked our travel agency (Trip Central) about any resort construction, damage, etc due to the recent hurricane or other and were told all was fine - I am disappointed with TC for not being more informed and letting us know of the resort conditions...I have been booking trips through TC for many years and now a little skeptical moving forward..

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Beautiful Resort

The staff are super friendly; the resort is big, but they have a shuttle service to get you around the grounds that you can request at any time; rooms are kept clean and fresh; bed is very comfortable; there are a few beach options around the resort and all are great; pools are clean and beautiful; swim-up bar is a nice touch; there are many restaurant options and the food at all of them is fantastic; the Lotus Restaurant is amazing where the chefs cook right in front of you and sing/entertain a [... read more]s they cook (they juggle spatulas!); excursion options are great as well for those looking to get off the resort for a bit; destination-weddings here are beautiful and they have back-up options if the weather doesn't cooperate

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Great Resort!

We had a room in building 26, room was clean, near everything, beautiful view of pool and beach. Great staff, food and drinks! Steak house was my favorite. The only down fall is the beach. It's small and rocky! Bring a floaty and water shoes!

TRS Turquesa: Great Resort/Excellent Value!

We loved the Royal Suites. We were located directly across from the Pool Bar and a 2 minute walk to the beach. It was also a short walk to the Lobby Bar. Although we could have hopped on the train to go for lunch at the 2 restaurants reserved for the Royal guests, most times we did walk. The French restaurant was excellent and we enjoyed the small buffet of which you could also order off a small menu. We also took advantage of the large buffet down at the beach. That was very enjoyable [... read more] at lunch time. Rooms were very clean and very well furnished. The pillow menu was also a bonus. A huge bonus for me was that I only received 1 bug bite over the 7 days. We would definitely return.

TRS Turquesa: 2nd trip to the Royal Suites Turquesa

We stayed at The Royal Suites Turquesa in Punta Cana from Oct. 1 to 12. This was our second visit to this Resort as we stayed there about 6 years ago. We were excited to stay there again but after the first day in our room our excitement dwindled. There were several problems in our room. Most were solved within a few days except for the water dripping from the ceiling to the floor in the Toilet room and one other spot. It was from the condensation from the air conditioning but instead of  [... read more]just talking about it they should of done something. The one thing that was consistent was the inconsistency. The mini bar service was hit and miss (no service at all or only getting half the items) as was the nightly turn down service. The service in all of the restaurants that we visited was either good or bad and it changed from day to day. The maid did a very good job most of the time but I noticed the floor under the bed was getting dustier and dustier (I could see the dust while sitting outside looking in). Since we had a swim up room there was bar service with staff coming to our patio for our order. Sometimes there were 2 people ready to serve you but in the early afternoon there were hours when we didn’t see anyone. There were a couple of items that were consistent. The timeshare or should I say Vacation people were everywhere ready to pounce on you. We decided to attend one session when we were told what we would receive a hat, two t-shirts and each a 30 minute massage and it would only take an hour. During the presentation another hour was added so it was now up to 2 hours. After 3 hours we decided that was enough and we didn’t even hear about the prices as that would take another hour. We did get what was offered to us but we heard from another couple that they didn’t receive all of the gifts. The spa people were also everywhere wanting you to buy an expensive but very good massage. If their prices were more reasonable, I’m sure more people would have used their services. and The food on whole was good but they also had the DR spin on what the food should be like. With this spin, it was hard to try and figure out what the food was. We were to have a butler but never saw this person the entire 11 days. We also didn't see the rep from the travel agency we used since she did not show up for our meeting and we had to search for our return flight time as her book wasn't kept with all of the other travel agencies. We had a good time but I don’t think we will come back to this resort. The first time it was very good but the level of service has dropped and there are so many other great resorts to see.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Amazing

This was an amazing trip for my son and I .our first time at the grand palladium and definatly not out last. My sister and her family have been here 3 times . We were on a family trip the constrained 11 of us . 9 adults 3 kids are 2,3,&5. Such a kids friendly place .shows were great .foid was fabulous. We all came back a little heavier lol. Highly recommend going .staff was delightful Can't wait to go back

Grand Palladium Colonial: It was nice

The hotel was nice and comfy clean and roomy air conditioning after the humid temperatures outside lots of mosquitoes but I know you can't control that. I love how you put pecies of nature in the resort how it was open and beautiful. But the food could have better some of it made me sick but the Japanese restaurant was amazing and the buffet was good

Grand Palladium Colonial: Absolutely Zero Complaints!!

I was so impressed with this hotel. Not only was it an amazing hotel for kids, with its awesome water park and phenomenal kids club, but it was impeccably clean and well taken care of. I never saw one dirty bathroom on the whole premise. The service was great and the people were so friendly and helpful! We even had a medical scare that included a trip to the hospital, and the hotel was right on top of it and even gave my son a get better soon gift which he is taking to school for show and tell!! [... read more] It really was a wonderful vacation, and I'm very sad to be home! Grand Palladium Jamaica: Amazing Resort

This hotel is one of my all time favorites, the food is phenomenal, the drinks are delicious, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the laboring staff is what makes this place so special.Unfortunately, I cant say the same for the management running the front desk. As a fourth time repeater, I was expecting some VIP amenities ex: a nicer room with ocean view, not put at the back of the resort facing the main road, the only VIP amenities we got to use was for making reservations at dinner. Unfortunately  [... read more]they did not seem to care, I emailed the resort 2 months prior to going with a few requests that clearly we not met. Like I said its the laboring staff (pool boys, the guys filling up the fridges, and the gardeners that make this place so special!

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Awesome people

Over all the hotel was lovely. The rooms were not amazing, but all the restaurants, pools, bar, bathrooms and other public places were amazing! The best part of the hotel experience was the staff. They were friendly, helpful and really made my stay easy.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: great family vacation!

The staff are so friendly, always welcoming and helpful. Special thanks to Brenda and her crew at the mini kids club. They put in a lot of time and passion in the activities for the kids and it meant a lot to us. Room was really clean, grounds were very well kept. We really enjoyed walking around the huge resort everyday and all the wild life to see. Kids pool was a lot of fun for our 2.5 year old. The beach was beautiful. Grand Palladium Vallarta: Jungle Paradise!

This resort was wonderful and very unique from our other experiences in Mexico. The grounds are a lush tropical rain forest, complete with a small zoo in the middle! If you like natural wildlife, this is your place. Great for kids! The staff was amazing... warm and friendly, and always willing to help us without being over-bearing. The whole thing was video'd, from their surprise at the start, a walk on the beach mid meal, right to our entire family's entrance from the beach just before dessert, where we were all provided a rose to present to my mom (17 total!) as we filed up the stairs. It was amazing and so very kind of them... we were overwhelmed. A great place to visit!
