Royalton Hideaway Saint Lucia: Amazing resort

The resort was very well laid out and beautiful to look at. Our room was huge and luxurious. We had a swim out room overlooking the ocean, could not have been more beautiful. Restaurants were good, lots of variety. Food was good though not outstanding. Staff were friendly and courteous.

Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun: Everything you hoped for in a family resort

There is something for everyone. It was absolutely fantastic! Room was terrific and clean. Many pools! Food was great! Beach was awful but that is not the resorts fault! Restaurants were terrific!

We returned Feb. 8th from the hideaway. This has been our fifth time to Mexico as well as 15 times to Cuba. I look for value in my vacations I thought i received what i paid for. I had researched my trip before we went reading the good bad and ugly. It was not bad like a lot of reviews in my opinion. The alcohol was good they had canned beer you can ask for extra in your fridge pen and paper on night stand. At first thought my dark rum was off or watered down but does taste different with pepsi. The food was good we went to ZEN we went in afternoon and booked on a cloudy day great show and food. We went to HUNTERS we did have to come back an hour later to get in. We to Dorado and Italian no wait at either sports bar twice no wait and dinner on beach on Wednesday night with no reservation. The towel game not as bad as expected lots of chairs on beach and yes was seaweed as expected. The pool does get crowded by 9am chairs are gone. The lady will give you towels and take your room number. They do run out of towels but some people ask for 5 or 6 towels for two people. The bartenders are great work very hard when its busy. Sometimes you have to wait takes time to make blender drinks and all those shooters. There is wait staff around the pool and at beach I did not feel i had to tip but i did. Our room was what we expected we did pay the room selection fee for Building one facing the pool. We could see in the morning when chairs were being taken we did not want to face the mangroves. We could hear a couple shows from our room. We did not have to deal with the front desk with and problems. We also did the couples massage with the hydotherapy was a good experience and my wife said good price. So yes i would go back again for the right price and I would book diamond club if I found a really good price otherwise we were fine without. I think some people want the high end resort perks for what you pay here

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Great Vacation

This was a very lovely resort, smaller than some of the other larger ones where you need a trolley to get around. Food and service was fantastic. Eddy, Adoni, Joyn (supervisor at the Indian restaurant) and Yaritza (Taboo) were all fantastic. My husband arranged an intimate dinner for my birthday at the Culunary Experience and food was unbelievable (this is an extra charge). The entertainment in the evening was lovely and a talented bunch. Vibes crew were fun and always including the guests, with their great sense of humor. I would recommend this resort.

Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun: Meh

Resort is nice however there are certainly things for them to work out. Beach is gross because there is swamp that runs right into the ocean along one side .. with all the garbage that's sitting in the swamp running down (along with who knows what else).Tons of seaweed that they can't keep up with (no fault of anyone but not a clean beach).... Flooding btw the beach and resort when rains.. Being beside the swamp creates and awful smell in the rooms in building 11 on that side, you cannot leave  [... read more]your sliding door open. Rooms are nice, nothing grand but clean and nice. Shower runs out into the bathroom after shower (doesn't drain well so floor is constantly wet (we had to leave a towel on the floor to soak up water - not a big deal tho)). We experienced theft out of a zipped backpack and staff said they'd do 'investigation' however, another member of the staff said nothing will transpire (they were being honest). Fridges were never stocked unless you called and asked them to come. Staff on beach were wonderful. Most other staff seemed as though we were HIGHLY INCONVIENCING them by asking them for food or drinks though. ONE bar is decent with great staff (cocktail bar in lobby across from cafe)... however, we did not feel impressed with any of the other bars or restaurant staff, in particular the Mexican bar beside the gift shop had horrible service (however, the VIBE team that entertained there were great!). Water park is cool but everyone in our party left 'injured', with major cuts and bruises from the slides. The gym is awesome and overall the food was 'good'. The bowling was fun and the 'play zone' activities look cool but for the amount of rooms the resort holds, there is definitely going to be a hard time gaining access to those activities, it's a very small space (which you do need a reservation for).

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Gorgeous Resort

The Royalton Bavaro is a gorgeous resort, beautiful rooms, good food and lots of great entertainment. However, we booked in Oct./22 and requested side by side adjoining rooms and a crib. We were travelling with family with 2 small grandchildren.We were told days before we arrived on Jan. 27/23 that the only way to guarantee this was to pay $100 US extra per room. When we arrived not only we didn't get adjoining rooms, we were on different floors. We finally paid more $350 US to move on the first [... read more] floor to be side by side with a swim out pool. Nothing else was available, apparently. As amazing as this resort is, be aware you have to pay for adjoining rooms. Also, hot tubs are not hot, not even warm.

Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: wonderful spot

Our trip to the Royalton was wonderful - 5 star worthy!!! The room was clean and decor above average; the resort property layout was great and all buildings were beautiful. You could tell that cleanliness was a high propriety; noteworthy was that pool washrooms were always clean. The food and service were great; from the main buffet - le Marche, to Grazie's, to Hunter's... The beach was pristine; the pool area was tiered up from the beach - so you always had a beach view. We were well taken care of and would return.

Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: Excellent Resort

We enjoyed our stay at the Royalton Antigua. The staff was very attentive respectful and professional. They always had a smile and ready to stop and say hello. The resort was always kept in very high standards in keeping resort and grounds very clean. Food and all restaurants were excellent and the beach was clean and enjoyable with friendly staff.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Very Good Resort

We stayed at the Royalton "Diamond Club". First of all the staff was all extremely friendly and were always happy and smiling. Rooms - We were fortunate to stay in the terrace suite with a huge private terrace overlooking the ocean. This room was great. We had a chance to look at the other rooms and they were all very nice. Note: there are a;pt of swim out rooms however the swim out pools are not heated. We travelled at the end of January and didn't see one person in their swim out pool a [... read more]ll week. Food - the buffet was very good, lots of choices. We visited all of the ala carte's. The food was good but not spectacular. Overall an 8/10. We did eat at the Ocean Point restaurant. The food was great and you could watch the sunset. Beach - the beach was excellent. Turquoise water, soft sand and very clean. The Royalton is on Bloody Bay Beach (approximately 3 km long) so very nice for a morning walk. There are other resorts you walk by as well as local shops, so it was a great walk. Note: it is approximately a 5 minute walk from the resort to seven mile beach. We made the walk and then walked all of seven mile beach. It is virtually the same as Bloody Bay beach just a little longer. And Marguarettaville is on seven mile beach Pools - there is a pool for Diamond Club and a pool for non Diamond Club. Both pools are about the same size. The pools are not huge but they were never overcrowded. Ample chairs and loungers at both pools and the beach. Entertainment - the vibe crew curing the day was ok, nothing special. The entertainment at night was also ok but we have seen much better. Hideaway section - this is an adults only area. Very much the same as the rest of the resort but "adults only" There weren't alot of children at the resort so nothing to be worried about. Sunset - Unfortunately due to the positioning of the resort on Bloody Bay you do not see the sunset, However you can walk to the point and watch the sunset Safety - The resort and beach was extremely safe, absolutely no concerns at all. As mentioned we also walked seven mile beach and had no concern with safety. Vendors = Yes there was vendors but they were not pushy at all. Yes they asked if you wanted to buy "gonja" but if you said no thanks they did not bother you. Also as you walk by their little huts/shops they asked you to come in and have a look but were not pushy at all. Overall - this resort was very nice and you certainly will enjoy it. Not overly exciting or spectacular but very nice to relax and enjoy the pool/beach/weather, 7.5 out of 10 Note: Make sure you go to Rick's cafe. You can go on a boat, catamaran or taxi. It is 100% worth the trip. We went twice it was so much fun.

Royalton Hideaway Saint Lucia: Beautiful

We stayed in Diamond Club Hideaway. Great resort. Great food and drinks. Always able to get towels and a chair. We had wonderful Butler service. The only thing is that it is almost 2 hrs from airport and the roads are hilly and curvy.

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Exceeded expectations

Very clean resort; pools, beach and grounds were cleaned constantly. Rooms were dated; they really need to be upgraded (there was noticeable rust on bathroom fixtures, for example). However, they were kept pretty clean, and any small issues with the room were addressed quickly. The beautiful beach was the star of the show; pure white sand, turquoise water, lots of palapas, bar service on the beach (a server would come by to take your drink orders and return with them). Despite signs by the hotel indicating that "reserving" bali beds and loungers was not permitted, and that items would be removed, there was strong evidence of "towel wars" at this resort. However, guests are getting fed up with this practice, and I witnessed several people reclaiming "reserved" beds/loungers after they hadn't been occupied for hours. I'm glad to see there is starting to be some push-back on that. RE: Covid. We had completed our Cuban government health form on-line prior to departure (which included information about our our vaccination status). Upon arrival at the airport, our phone with the QR code we were sent was scanned and we breezed through customs. Travelers who had not completed the form online had to complete the form in hard copy at the airport before they could leave customs. We had been advised in advance that there was random Covid testing at the airport (both RAT and PCR), but we did not see anyone get tested. Staff at the airport were, for the most part, wearing masks. Although we wore masks on the plane, in the airport and on the transfer bus, we were in the distinct minority. Most travelers were not masked. At the resort, guests were not masked and neither were most of the staff. Staff who were masked were noticeably sick (with a cough), but there were not many. Guests had the option to eat outside at both a la carte restaurants. Both restaurants inside had high ceilings, good ventilation, and tables not set too closely together. This was much appreciated.

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Great time!

I attended royalton chic for a second year in a row with a different group of friends! The first year I found the elevators slow, however they have drastically improved Service! The service was simply amazing. From check in to checkout, we couldn’t ask for anything better. Eduardo was our butler and no words can describe how incredible he was. Kuri took amazing care us when we rented a cabana. Thanks kuri! Rooms - clean. Always fully stocked Beach - although the water was rough. The beach was absolutely beautiful. The sand and water was great! Food- the buffet was good. Enjoyed the fresh cooked items. The ala carte menus changed from last year which I preferred. Some were better then others. Always able to find something to eat. Actually all of us over ate Restaurant off resort - we went to taboo. Perfect night out. Location - resort is in perfect walking location to coco bongo, Isla mall, bars, restaurants Drinks - drinks were great’ Overall another great experience at the royalton chain. Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Great family resort

The hotel was great, loved the layout of the family room. Great restaurants, a bit disappointing that we couldn’t eat at all of the restaurants at the other Royalton on the beach, as promised. Getting back and forth between the two resorts and the beautiful beach was less than a 10 minute walk or a quick ride on the transfer cart. The kids loved the shows at both resorts. The water park was another hit with the kids.

Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: Amazing beach bad service

I read all the reviews about this property before I booked. I learned about the amazing beach and this is what made me decide to book even though I also learned about the bad service in this hotel, I'm not picky at all and all that I need is a good weather and a nice beach. I'm a handicapped person that I walk with a walker so I sent an email to the email address on the Royalton website asking just for a ground-floor room then they directed my email to Donna the front desk manager and some oth [... read more]er names. Donna responded that they noted that in my file. When I arrived there was no ground-floor room available and they said that they will give me one after 2 days, which I understand. The big problem was that the hotel has 2 tiny elevators and if I use one with my walker only 2 other persons can share the elevator with me! So every time I go up or down I have to wait 3 or 4 turns to get an empty one. Till then I wouldn't write a bad review because I understand that it is only a problem for a handicapped person that doesn't have a ground-floor room. Now comes the main problem which applies to everyone. besides the steak house restaurant, there is a narrow corridor to the washroom, in this narrow corridor they put a permanent 2 cleaning carts and if you want to use the washroom you have to squeeze yourself beside the cleaning carts imagine me with a walker! I asked many of the hotel employees at least 3 times to remove the carts since it is against safety measures to put them there in the first place! The last time I went to this washroom I fell down because I have to leave my walker and lean on the walls. I sent an email to Donna and the other names with the incident and of course, I received the apologies that I always receive from her. The second day, nothing happened and the carts are still in the same place so I sent another email and I received the usual apologies. With all that happened to me, I was waiting to see actions, as well as compensation for all their mistakes especially ignoring my complains of the carts, which could've led to a bad injury! In my opinion, the big problem in this hotel is that they provide lip service without taking any action, and you can see that from the Royalton response to people's bad reviews with the typical sentences of bieng sorry and they'll make it up for you next time you go! bet you it is gonna be the same for my review.

Royalton Saint Lucia Resort and Spa: Very nice resort

Grounds excellent staff very good food all good except Italian restaurant. Last meal was Italian place left my views with staff on Friday. Tried very hard to join in resort pool activity but we got very sick on Tuesday and for the rest of the week and are still suffering with grave situation and cruel painful symptom. Going to emergency services Fort Erie must stress it is not covid. As our week at your resort progressed the supplies for our began to dwindle. Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: Needs a lot of work to be compatible with the Royalton we know

Hotel was nice and clean. They should be a bit more careful with keeping up with the maintenance, the door to the balcony in our room was cracked and not just one crack but nobody did anything even though we called and mention it, their answer was that they already knew about it, if I had children I would not be comfortable being in that room. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Buffet was HORRIBLE - Same food at every lunch and dinner, same food at all stations, not enough varie [... read more]ty, once one of the trays was finished took them a while to fill it out again, in case of yogurt and fresh fruit once it was finished there was no more. The servers were not very helpful either we asked for water or coffee and we would be half way our meal by the time they brought to the table. Restaurant a la carte - EXCELLENT - the food was amazing well prepared and served, the staff was perfect, friendly, happy, could not do enough, constantly asking how is the food, if there was anything else we needed. Needless to say that we ended up having lunches and dinners at these restaurants instead of the Buffet. Would I recommend this hotel? Sure it is a good location the beach is beautiful and just to be out of the cold in the sun and hot weather it is worth.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Exceptional.

The resort is striking upon entering and being so quickly greeted by the staff gives you a special feeling of knowing you are going to have a wonderful vacation. Special thanks to Matty and Ronald for their hospitality and availability. The resort is one we will return to without a doubt. Its offers everything one could hope, such as; magnificent beach, staff, drinks etc. As I write this I am longing to return. Hoping this review helps anyone who chooses this resort. You too will be impressed.

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Great stay!

Loved the smaller size of resort so it wasn't too far to get to and from the resort amenities from our room. Clean and modern hotel with great daily room cleaning services. The pools were beautiful with a variety of spots to lounge. The main pool had a lively atmosphere but if you wanted something quieter, you could choose the smaller pool closer to the ocean. Great ocean front with seating available. You do need to get to the pool and ocean loungers early in the morning if you want a spot.

Royalton Hideaway Negril: Very nice stay at Hideaway at Royalton

Hideaway at Royalton was very nice for over 18's. Even though the resort is huge, everything is easy to get to and for Hideaway guests centrally located to dining, cove beach area and Hideaway bar. The rooms were very modern. The bed was very luxurious, wonderful. We loved the rain shower and the jacuzzi tub. We had a huge balcony with view of the bay. The tv was apps, but had Royalton info regarding the spa, and entertainment, restaurants etc. We ate mainly at the buffet, as it had everyth [... read more]ing we wanted and was very good. We enjoyed the Hideaway dining area, as it was spacious and just for Hideaway guests. You could choose from indoor or outdoor dining. We loved the coffee shop and the restaurant hours were good for a meal or snack at most anytime of the day. The staff in all areas of the resort were very friendly and helpful. The bay is very beautiful and you can see fish just by looking at the edge of the water. There are some boardwalks to observe from. We didn't attend the entertainment as we were tired out from all the fresh air and swimming during the day. We chose to relax in our room. The gift shop had a nice selection and reasonable prices. We checked out the family area and it looked nice and had a food truck with lots of tasty snacks and a jerk hut. We didn't use the spa. We took a taxi to the main beach and walked and stopped for refreshments and snacks one day. Very beautiful. The Air Canada flight was also the best, we had premium economy with priority boarding, seating with extra leg room and a delicious meal. Our travel rep Monique was more than helpful for this trip as I asked many questions of her more than once. Thank you very much. A great vacation
