Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Best All-Inclusive in the Caribbean

Unbelievable food, easily surpasses anything I've had at 5+ star resorts in Mexico. The beach is incredible and the rooms all have beautiful views.The staff is also very friendly and its great that everyone speaks English. If you love to lay around at the beach, swim in the ocean, enjoy the pool, and eat a ton of great food (especially jerk chicken) then this is the resort for you! I will definitely return!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: not good enough for money spent

Hotel in general was beautiful minus the leaking ceilings. Entertainment was awesome food was just average. Drink selection was ok. Very poor customer service. You would have to ask 3-4 time to get what you wanted. Alot of lazy servers. I wouldn't go back for the price I paid. I would not consider 5 star maybe 4.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Fabulous!

Very clean, amazing people. Food was alright...maybe I'm just pickier than most. Big resort, with many places and things to do. Must get a beach chair early, or you won't be sitting at the beach. Water was gorgeous.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: The most friendly resort staff I have ever had!!!

First off let me start by saying the staff at this hotel is by far the most friendly I have ever encountered. We arrived at the resort at approx. 2:30 and our room wasn't quite ready yet. We headed to the buffet for lunch and were entertained as 2 members of the wait staff competed against each other in "napkin animal" off. Both continuously making different animals from the napkins in an attempt to out do the other. Great fun!!! The ala carte restaurants we chose were all very good - the Japanese (Mikado) I enjoyed the most with the Italian coming in second and the Brazilian third. The rooms were all very nice. The resort is very large and does take a couple of days to orient yourself which was somewhat frustrating. The trolley system that they have in place to get you to the beach was somewhat frustrating. If you are an impatient person by nature and enjoy the beach this may not be the resort for you as the transportation system can be a little frustrating at times. I'm not sure if it was the time of year or a regular occurrence but the beach was covered in seaweed for 2 days. The other 5 days it was beautiful and you could see fish and really enjoy the ocean experience. If you are pool people this is a beautiful resort for you as well. Once you are able to get used to the layout of the resort it is a beautiful place. I cannot reiterate enough about how friendly the staff is - and I've been to many resorts. The food is excellent at the buffets and ala cartes. The cleanliness of the lobby and all public areas was excellent as well. Enjoy your vacation and remember........you are on vacation, enjoy it and just relax.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Made our wedding day shine!

As the sun rose on the morning of Jan 22nd on the beautiful beach, I watched in anticipation as this was going to be the best day ever! Wedding was so amazing and we all had fun! Can't wait to go back! The staff was there for us every step! Our meal, wedding cake, preparation and reception was perfect! Only sad part was when it was all over and had to leave.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Very Nice hotel, but rooms need some work..

The hotel was great, as were the people who work there. Everyone was friendly and easy going. The food was good, and the buffet had a great options! The bartender halfway down the beach is worth the walk everytime! Only issue is we all agreed that the hotel often band aided problems and didn't fix them. Our toilet was broken for 4/7 nights there, another friends air conditioner leaked everywhere (a giant puddle), the bathroom tubs were a bit dirty.... But Overall, good experience

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Not what I expected...

The hotel grounds were kept very clean. Our room was what you would expect from a 4 star resort. The safe was available in the room at an extra cost though, so be prepared for that expense. The food was actually good and comparable to a North American style buffet with an assortment of cuisines to choose from. What surprised me was the size of the resort/s and the distance to the beach. The resort is made up of 3 different resorts which means a lot of people all the time! If I were to re-book with The Grand Principe Clubs I would book at the Akumal. It is a higher rated hotel and it is on the ocean and much quieter to relax at.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful

We were happy with the overall experience. Food was great pools were amazing and beach was nice. The resort rooms are ok however the overall look of the hallways could use a revamp. Smelly and musty at some spots. Alot of our guests had issues with rooms. We broke a glass I'm our room on the third day and by the last day we were still asking them to clean it as we kept getting shards of glass in our feet. I would recommend it but we will never be going back there.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Amazing Resort !!!!!

I travelled to this resort from Jan16-23 2015 Such Beautiful well groomed grounds. The entertainment staff were excellent always keeping you engaged. The Michael Jackson show and the Circus acrobatic show are the best. The food was always fresh and plenty to find to eat, the al la cartes were very delicious especially the Takara ( Asian ) The rooms are all renovated and the cleaning staff are very friendly. Only one thing to watch out for the sand fleas on the beach.

Everything here is great for a 4 start place! 3 time here , great bang for ur buck .. Awesome food .. Relaxed place! Love the man made beach here it really nice! Not so goo for older poeple who don't like to walk . Bigger resort but well laid out. Thanks

Very nice hotel, good food. Travelled with kids no snack foods available for them. No shaded areas over kids pool or shallow areas. Kids shows are a little too late. Kids playground should be closer to the hotel

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Large and in charge

This is a massive compound. Not close to the ocean at all, but lots of pools. There is a trolley system to take you where you need to go. Well manicured, clean and friendly helpful staff. Ocean can have a weed problem when the winds are right.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Very nice resort

Big resort a lot of walking. Food very good, resort kept very clean, staff friendly and most go out of there way to help. Something for everyone, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, lounging by the pool or the beach.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Fantastic!

Our family was truly impressed with this resort. Our children, 10 and 8 could say enough about how great it was. Our room was in a beautiful quiet setting, the food was excellent and the service - superb!!! We were treated like royalty at the al a cart restaurants where the food quality and taste was over the top. The beach was beautiful and the snorkeling was amazing, right off the beach. We would definitely go back to the Bahia Principe Tulum resort again.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Beautiful Vacation!

Visited Punta Cana from January 6th to the 13th. Beautiful resort!!! Beach was wonderful! Staff was amazing! Enjoyed the a la Carte Restaurants a lot!!! Definitely recommend excursion to Saona island!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Excellent Resort

We totally enjoyed our stay. We were close to beach & pool & had access to other buffets, so had lots of choices of where to eat. At first we found resort overwhelmingly big, but very easy finding our way around. We'd definitely stay there again.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: GREAT RESORT

Grand Bahia Principe Jamaica Resort was great! We went as a group of six and requested that our rooms be close together, rooms not located on ground level, and not close to the disco, and the hotel accommodated all of our requests. The resort is beautiful, clean and well kept. The pool is great! The beach is really nice as well. The resort grounds are also very nice. The buffet has some really good stuff like the make our own omelette in the morning, make your own pasta at lunch and the chicken [... read more] and shrimp that are cooked on the grill to order at dinner are amazing! The al carte restaurants were really good we went to the Mikado Japanese twice and Dolce vita once, however, you need to book you restaurants right away and if you are at the resort for a week you most likely won't get into Don Pablo the steak house. The drinks at the resort are very good. The wine was really good when you got your hands on an actual wine glass (Spanish wine). The staff are all very friendly and accommodating and truly care about your vacation being it's best. The resort itself is huge which makes it appealing to all ages, there are plenty of activities for everyone of all ages, and it has a good party atmosphere at night. I would definitely go back to this resort and highly recommend it to others. Have an amazing trip Mon!

Great resort. Had the Diamond club booking (great service) which gives room close to beach n Mexican restaurant. Pay more but worth it. Get up to 4 bookings at a la Carte :) - Le Gourmet was best. Buffet good selection. Beach excellent, clean. Find chairs close to beach bar by 745am for good selection. Staff friendly overall. Did excursion to Saona Island - fab day - bring $ for massage n photo package. bus service is excellent throughout resort! Great entertainment - loved Circus of Dreams = to [... read more] Cirque du soleil. Caribbean party fun $ Privilege club is bothersome when I want to spend time on beach not getting sales job and get calls at room. Stay away from the people in lobby who want to 'give' free stay/gifts. they get painful.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Goin back!!!!

Truley an awsome resort! Everything was excellent , definatly going back with other couples (that we recommend this resort. )next year. Staff was super nice and resort was very clean, food was exceptional, beach was nice and the rooms were fine, although the bathrm could be bigger, not a big deal! Going back love it!!

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Good resort

We had a few issues with the room, but it was resolved and they were apologetic. However, my husband gave a ticket for a towel, to my sister, and the front desk manager was extremely rude to him and threatened him with a $25 fine. He should not be in the hospitality industry. However, the entertainment staff were wonderful and worked very hard to entertain us.
