Ocean Coral and Turquesa: clean hotel, food good not exceptional

Staff - very friendly One day there was construction in morning and it disturbed our sleep. This went on for a few hours Bell servers very accommodating - Carlos provided exceptional service did not go on any excursions but did visit Playa delCarmen for a few hours. the food was better outside of the hotel

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: An excellent resort

The food was outstanding and service was always great. The format of the resort was nicely laid out. Plenty of room by the pools and a nice beach area close to the bars, bathrooms and restaurant. There was great entertainment every night.

Zel Cozumel: Great Resort

Awesome beach, smaller resort, very clean, food is just ok not great, rooms are large and clean, close to the airport. Staff is very friendly, one of the best resort beaches on the Island, we have stayed at 3 other resorts and this is by far the best.

Samba Vallarta: Nice, laid back resort.

Comfortable surroundings, very friendly staff. An altogether great atmosphere. Great food, good variety. Good beach with palapas for shade. Great pool for kids. Good entertainment in the evening. Rooms need updating.

Iberostar Selection Coral Cancun: Fantastic Resort

Beauty hotel, awesome grounds, well manicured common areas, pools and beach front. Room service and accommodations was a fantastic experience. Restaurants and Buffet were excellent. Nightly entertainment was top drawer. Enjoyed our 10 day stay to the Max .

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Awesome Vacation

The Occidental at Xcaret Destination is an excellent vacation getaway - we spent 7 glorious days here and enjoyed our time immensely - restaurants were great, grounds were great including the wildlife on this property. Most of all, the staff were so amazing - they could not do enough for us.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Amazing employees

My sister and I were in building 22 ( top floor. Back of building). We had monkeys on our balcony every morning. Wonderful experience. At one point our keys didn’t work any longer so I went next door to Royal level. Thankfully they fix the problem with the keys. If you don’t feel like taking the trolley ask for shortcut to lobby. I wouldn’t recommend this resort for people that have problems walking a lot. Everything else was great. Bon voyage

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Fabulous destination

We had a family wedding as part of our vacation. every detail of our special day was looked after perfectly and professionally.this is a world class destination. The food was delicious and the meal for the wedding was exceptional. Thanks to all staff and any one involved.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Positives and Negatives

Hello, We stayed in room 1159 for two weeks, checking out January 23rd. The cost to us was over $5,000 for the WestJet vacation. The following will offer both positive & critical opinions. Positive Comments: The strongest ambassadors the resort has is the staff. They are fabulous, in the restaurants, bars, maids & even your maintenance staff. The facilities are also very good. Critical Comments: Our experience with both check in and check out was poor and upsetting. The up sell pressure after a long day of travel is not appreciated. While checking out, I was accused of not paying a charge for a beer in Bambu. Not true as I had paid cash the previous evening to a male staff member. Unfortunately, they have either a thief or an incompetent person in that role. The food quality overall was inconsistent from day to day. Also, the question of guests being able to make a reservation at an al a carte restaurant is a huge problem. Those few who can make a reservation walk past those who cannot, which is the bulk of the guests. This creates bad feelings and a sense of a two tier level of guests. There is an issue at the adult pool with guests reserving their lounges with towels and then leaving them for hours or most of the day. However, your security staff began removing the guests stuff after 30 minutes. That too, is unfair. Just getting lunch takes longer than 30 minutes, for example. We met a couple who had $250 US stolen from their safe. That is troubling as they have some thieves employed. Too bad, as the majority of the staff is super friendly and helpful. Grand Decameron Los Cabos: A great resort, I would return again

The resort for us was a great stay, not too large with excellent staff and service. The food was sometimes a little disappointing but there was always choices so we enjoyed most meals. The Luna Restaurant was for us not quite what we expected, service was good but the delivery was slow with small portions and limited choices. We had a great waiter his name was Elias, very friendly, spoke good English and was overall a credit to the resort, thanks to him. We would return and recommend this resort to others looking for a stay.

NYX Hotel Cancun: Small Resort - Big Heart

This resort is small, but it carries a lot of punch. If you are looking for drinks on the beach, nightly entertainment, great pools and lovely spaces, give it a try. the whole place is really well kept, have friendly staff, and the food was fantastic. We had a great week-long stay.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Royalton Hideaway

Rooms and resort amenities are beautiful i.e., modern upscale decor. Food quality and service at a la carte restaurants was very hit and miss. Portions were small overall. Room service menu choices were very limited, delivery was slow and good quality was just mediocre if that. Guest services staff have poor attitudes - unfriendly and less than helpful. I will not return or recommend the Royalton to my friends or family.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Never disappointed

Many trips to this resort and hopefully many more to come. Great as usual and value for your $ is second to none. Great staff, good food, drinks and amenities. Having been many times and knowing many of the staff is a bonus. Always amazed how you can go up to one of them a year later and they remember some personal detail from the year or 2 before. Barcelo Maya Riviera: Better than expected

This resort is much better than i expected. The staff were amazing, friendly and very eager to help. The advertisement pictures dont do it justice. Also much bigger than expected. The food was absolutely delicious. I cant think of anything negative to say about our experience. Such a beautiful and magnificent place to stay. Just dont forget your water shoes, not a place to run some into the water full steam.

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Disappointing

There are no towel bars in the shower area. Only place for towels is on the floor. THe shower floor is EXTREMELY slippery - be sure to wear water shoes or risk falling. The patio area at the swim out pools has deteriorated to the extent you have to wear shoes or risk injury. They had the red flag out every single day - so no swimming. Service was fantastic, food was good but not great. We saw quite a few wildlife - We even managed to feed the coati!! On the whole not a bad place  [... read more]but not the 5 star we were led to believe - probably more a 3.5 to 4. I would recommend but with caveats.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Beautiful resort!

Short review about our week at Blue Bay Grand Esmerelda in Riviera Maya January 2020. All in all a good vacation. Resort is very nice, with well maintained grounds and gardens. All personnel were friendly and gave excellent service. Food was excellent. One or two drawbacks: line up for food at the main buffet. You can only serve your self from one side of the buffet setup, resulting in a wait of 10 plus minutes for food, not to mention all the budinskis. Very inefficient. The beach:  [... read more]some sort of dredging operation going on in the water. So the water looks brown and dirty. No one is swimming in it. Your view is platforms and the wave barriers. Thumbs down to that. Also, some major ,very loud renovations going on so the quiet pool was not quiet. I think they played very hard driving nightclub music all day to cover over that. Wasn't ready to listen to that at 7:30 in the morning at the quiet pool buffet, so asked them to turn it down a bit. Was actually hard to find a quiet spot anywhere. So for those reasons I would not return.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: fantastic resort

This is one of the best resorts we've been to. Every thing is so clean, the grounds and the rooms. The room smelled so nice after it was cleaned. We love that they are into recycling. All the staff are extra friendly. The management personal were always checking on everything. The food was extra special. We like to see the Staff sitting down at meal time and eating, laughing and just talking to the guests.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: The best vacation...EVER

We would like to thank Bismark for referring us to this amazing resort. We were truly blown away at all of the unexpected features presented there. We loved absolutely everything about this resort....nothing bad to say except we should have stayed longer. What a treat! Posada Real Los Cabos: Small quaint mexican resort

We were very happy with this resort. When we first arrived I was a little nervous - but it didn't take long to realize that this was truly a very special gem of a place. The buffet was very small but the food was very good. No cheesy evening shows - but rather live music in the lobby. I would definitely be willing to go back to this resort again. The staff were all very happy and friendly.

Melia Puerto Vallarta: Great Resort!

We really enjoyed our 1 week stay at this hotel. Check in was a breeze and our rooms were ready when we arrived at 1pm. Rooms were very clean but a tad outdated. The hotel has a very good lay out. The A La Carte Restaurants were very easy to find since they were close together and the pool area was situated in the center of lunch restaurant and bars. The beach was very nice but the people walking by every 5 min to sell stuff got a little annoying after a while. It's like a hidden little world on its own. As for the food, I would give it a 4 out of 5. Italian was the BEST A La Carte place and the buffet had a good selection of breakfast and dinner options. Would definitely recommend this resort.
