Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: beautiful resort

Nice and clean. ...the food was amazing but found the resort a little too big and not as personal...rarely saw the same staff member twice. Lots of things to do close by. The beach was nice and some good snorkeling by the nude beach.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Good resort

Was there during New Year's Eve week, lots of people. Huge complex, grounds well kept, rooms a little tired. Good selection at the buffet, one negative comment, still have to make reservations for a la carte restaurants, frankly, this is very passé.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing resort

We were here for New Years - girls vacation. When we arrived we upgraded to the Luxury - Don Pablo section, but kept our room in the Golden section as it had the most amazing views of the pools and ocean. The luxury section was great - we ate at the a la carte restaurants every night except the first. This was a great feature. We also had use of the adults only pool - which when its a girls week away and you've left kids at home, this is very nice. You can't duplicate the friendly service of this place. It's a great all inclusive. All inclusives are NOT the same as high end a la carte travel. If you go knowing this, you'll enjoy yourself.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Great Resort, not Luxury!

Great food, amazing weather, average rooms and great pool. Beach nothing to write home about and either great service or poor service. The adult side was worth the upgrade!!!! Separate breakfast and lunch buffet. You don't have to reserve seating at the pool.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Quiet and Relaxing Stay

This resort is a nice size - not too big and not too small. Restaurants were nice, good selection and quality of food. Rooms were spacious, clean and close to everything. Plenty of seating areas to relax in the lobby and around the courtyards. Pool area is small and seating very limited. Beach was nice soft sand, great for snorkeling and walking, lots of shade, chairs hard to find. Piano bar/Lobby entertainment was good. Great resort! Amazing place for families or couples. Good food and many many options on where you want to spend your days! Loved my vacation there and definitely a place to come back for me! Don't hesitate to go there!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Average Spent good money NO WOW

Average rooms eh ocean view not a ah carpets stink hallway ocean nice barbeque lunch beach was nice entertainment eh overall 3plus. regretably paid to much for the value I expected much more been to punta and mexico far better service at other bahia this is the worst one in my oppinion and I am not that picky see for yourself

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Gran Bahai Principe Runaway Bay...Beautiful Resort

A huge resort with lots to offer. Friendly hotel staff. Restaurants and Food were delicious with lots of options! The jerk chicken by the beach was amazing along with the guy at the bbq. LOL. Disappointed with our room. It was supposed to be OCEAN VIEW! Confirm you get an ocean view room at check in or you will look onto the parking lot.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Beautiful resort

This resort was beautiful. The food was abundant with ample choices. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pools were beautiful. However, buyer beware. When my husband and I went the resort had been overbooked and we were not placed in the Luxury Sian Ka'an as booked. To make up for this, the staff went out of their way to make it up (gave us VIP status, a private butler, access to all four areas of the resort, unlimited a la cartes at our preferred time, reserved seating at the front for the N [... read more]ew Year's Eve gala, $75 per person credit for excursions and $200 per person reimbursement).

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: So So beautiful.

This resort was amazing. It was very large however it felt like one big happy family. All staff were wonderful especially our "maid" . I loved the room , the ocean, the pool and yes the swim up bar. The food was spectacular. We have traveled to many all inclusive resorts but this by far was the best. Great job to all. Thank you!!!!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Best of the Best!!

This resort was simply "perfect". The people were the nicest on the planet, food was great and the grounds were spotless. Night life was always very entertaining and a good variety. The weather was 28 during the day, light rainfall at night. Flight was good, service on the plane was ample.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: A Good Experience

Overall we thought the hotel was excellent. The staff were very friendly and were eager to please. It was our first visit to Mexico and we came away with a positive impression. The resort seemed very organized. There was some sidewalk construction near our room and it was a bit noisy during the day, however it was not that bad. If you went to the buffet every day it would be a bit monotinous, however we used the à la carte restaurants and found them to be very good. The rooms were a bit damp and there was no natural ventilation unless you left the sliding patio door open.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: wonderful vacation

This was our second time to this resort. It is very large so make sure you do your homework before you book as you may be disappointed as to where you end up The Gran Bahia is broken up into 5 -6 sections. .Also make sure you speak to someone that has been there, so that you are getting the right info. The food is good and the people are very nice.We plan on going back next year

The resort is huge and the grounds are beautiful and lush! The food was great with variety of choices. Desserts could improve slightly. The people / staff were friendly/happy and helpful. The beach was beautiful but ocean was pretty wavy with some seaweed for ocean lovers who prefer calm waters this might not be ideal. Entertainment was fun and all lobby's were so beautiful and clean. Downside to this resort was that being as it is so large there are car trains that cart you from here to there w [... read more]hich is great however, they do really give a diesel odour. Also don't forget to pack your Immodium.

Beautiful, Clean, Amazing staff throughout, Don Pablo is best restaurant, Ambar staff excellent, building 64 in Ambar super close to pool and beach, circus show was the best, not sure why all the seaweed complaints - we saw very little

Stayed in jan 2015,good vacation.a bit far from airport.very pretty area.staff all friendly and helpful.we stayed in a suite close to beach.room good,quiet,ac worked well.minor complaints for low water pressure in room and slippery floors throughout resort after rain.food was ok but not great.would stay here again.

The resort was nice but way too big. Took 6 mins to walk just from our room to the snack bar which was on the far western end of the resort. The service was satisfactory but I found some of the waiters/waitresses were expecting a tip no matter what kind of service they gave. I was not too pleased about this as You almost feel Guilty when they do that. I was specifically not impressed with the quality of food in the orchid buffet or other buffets for that matter; the food was 90% of the time cold [... read more] or hard as a rock. I understand the cultural difference but still was not happy with the selection or temperature of the food. The only times my girlfriend and I enjoyed the food, was the three a la cartes that were given to us. I also was not impressed with no beach area. They did have a small stretch but it was very rocky and not was I was hoping for. Our rooms were very nice and the bathroom was quite large which was nice for me and my girlfriend. Overall I liked jamaica but I'm not sure if I would go back to this resort.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great resort / service amazing

Grounds are nice, you feel like you're in the forest/jungle, nice birds around the area. Service was great all the time. Golf course was in great shape. Trolley to thE beach or the other bahia resort was fast. Compare to the other bahia I really had the feeling that I was in the best hotel and all staff was providing extra level of service to us. Overall was great, i recommend it
