Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Very good resort

Great pools, good staff. Waterpark is amazing! Food very average, the a la carts on the Memories side not very good and have long lineups. Have to pay to access the a la carts on the Royalton side. The beach on the Royalton side is fantastic, maybe the best I have been to

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Great resort

We found everything was very beautiful at the resort. Staff were great as well as entertainment. Food was good as well. Only problem we had was air transit on our last day, no one knew where the bus was, we were told to wait at one spot the bus did not arrive until 10am, we did not leave customs until 1145am with the flight leaving at 1230.

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Fantastic Christmas

This resort was the perfect fit for our family of 7. We stay in the elegance. Beautiful grounds, clean, beautiful beach. Food was good as far as all inclusive goes. The entertainment team was fantastic. All super friendly and very out going. A great family expierence

Paradisus Punta Cana: smells really bad

We had to change room for 3times because it smells really bad and one of the rooms has bed bug. Food is ok and hotel service people are ok. However, parasailing and hair styling people are liars. We do not recommend this restort.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Un hotel... plusieurs niveaux de services

Nous avons séjourné au Bahia Principe Punta Cana à trois reprises, dans un intervalle de temps de 11 ans (deux fois au Bavaro et une fois au Esmeralda). Nous ne pouvions pas aller au Fantasia, ni dans la section Ambar, ni souper en famille dans les restaurants gourmets du site (interdits aux moins de 18 ans), ni aller dans les sections réservées au Club. L'hotel Esmeralda devrait avoir ses propres restaurants gourmets. Autres points à surveiller : la qualité de la nouriture et du service dans les restaurants (inégale d'un endroit à l'autre).

VIK Hotel Arena Blanca: Amazing food and great presentation of the food

We had room 5226 and it overlooked part of the beach and ocean. No drawers to put your stuff into but we’re a bit bohemian so we coped. It was clean. That’s a lot of characters! The food was great and we enjoyed the access to it. Loved the hot chocolate and coffee in miridor. Didn’t like the pressure from the condo sales people. Wouldn’t buy or time share at the vik. The staff in the hotel gift shops were not customer service oriented. Reception staff, were pleasant. The focus seems to b [... read more]e on money and from what we saw through our privately arranged trips things are pretty good in the Dominican. We had a great time, and we always do, wherever we travel. The transat individual was not informative and was just putting in his time! The maids were really nice and gave of themselves!

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Paradise

We thought this all-inclusive adults-only resort was amazing, went with adult children and had a blast. It is a very large resort (many combined) but our part was the best. The food and the rooms etc. were excellent

Secrets Royal Beach: Beautiful Area & Staff

I have stayed at many, many all inclusive resorts over the years, and have accepted that there will be mostly good, and some not so good parts of all of them. And I am not a complainer. That said, I was actually disappointed enough in the food this time to write it down. And the only reason this time is that you sell this resort as a 5 star, and it is not that. However it was very obvious that the food in the a la carte restaurants was for the most part an extension of what was on the buffet, dressed up on a plate, and or some concoction that was put together with ingredients from the previous day's buffet items. This is not the expectation of what a person should see on a menu in a 5-star resort. Some crossover is acceptable, and expected, but this was too much. The only exception was the Seaside Grill which is a steak restaurant, and that you could not fake. But the rest were very disappointing. Seafood restaurant was the biggest let down, in a place where seafood is plentiful and fresh this should not be. I don't even know what I was eating. And what is with the Asian restaurant having falafal and baklava on the menu?? Last I checked the middle east and asia are pretty far away from each other lol! We didn't even bother with that one. Again, this is odd for me as I take things in stride and accept that the food will be good, and that there will be options always, but I had to provide my feedback this time. Please reconsider your rating for this hotel. You are not providing accurate assessment of this property with a 5-star rating. I have been to 4 stars with better food options than this, and got what I had expected. If you set the bar at 5-star, you better be sure the resort can deliver. On the plus side, the resort was very lovely and well kept, and the highlight was the staff who always greeted you with a smile. A shout out to Israel and Santa in the Italian restaurant bar. They were a lot of fun, with a couple of evenings of well poured, top-shelf beverages, and their enthusiasm and smiles. These two are a definite asset. Overall a good vacation, disappointed in the food for the first time in the 6 trips I have made to the DR.

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Amazing resort

The Now Onyx in Punta Cana is the best resort we have stayed at. We were in bldg. 5100 with a swim-up room. The service was the best we have experienced. This resort is definitely a 5 star. The beaches were great, no difficulty in getting lounges any time of the day. The pool area had lots of activities and also no difficulty in getting lounges any time of day. Our favourite restaurant was Spice.

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Resort ok

The hotel was old and needs a lot of repairs..no hot water at times in rooms..had a cockroach.front desk staff was rude took 3 hours to check in and three different rooms. Very disorganized. Way too much people pushing time timeshare.I would never go back or recommend this resort

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Needs upkeeping

The staff at the hotel were wonderful. The grounds are well manicured and they have alot of entertainment for guests. Food was great. However rooms are dated and in rough shape. Doors don't close or lock properly and are not of a high standard of clean. Beds were clean though so that was important. Hydro goes off at least once a day. Alot of sales people at all times. We had a great vacation and would go back. However disappointed in check in and the rooms.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Awesome time

All I can say is that we had really good time at Memories Splash. We were spoiled not only by the weather but also the quality of this resort and amenities. Food at restaurants was very good with new stuff on the menus everyday. A really good choice for a family vacation. Keep up the good work.

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Needs some attention

The good: beautiful grounds and pool, beach is nice (lots of seaweed and big waves when we were there. Facilities are nice and new - it’s only been opened a year. The bad: despite being only a year old, the rooms already have a lot of issues. Mould and musty smell, improperly functioning AC, TV that breaks and you call multiple times but it’s never fixed, which meant we couldn’t access any of they hotel info such as which restaurants are open when, mini fridge broke but we did manage t [... read more]o get that fixed, spa tub on the deck that drained onto the deck. The ugly: the food. It’s pretty bad, especially the buffet. Things sit too long and the hot food is cold while the cold food is warm. Some of the specialty restaurants are ok (the grill and the French) but I am still recovering from the food and I have a strong constitution (it’s almost been a week).

Grand Palladium Palace: Good resort

Its a good resort - the beaches are great and pools are nice and clean. Its a big resort so one has to take golf carts to move around in the resort. The service for the golf cars is good. The room service is also very good. We had no issues. However, the food is not so good. We had good food in only 2 restaurants. Others were poor; some very poor. We did not try the steakhouse which had some good reviews.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: Amazing Stay at the Hard Rock Punta Cana December 2017

We have been to Punta Cana four times to different resorts and this was by far THE BEST experience we've had. We were at the Hard Rock from December 15 - 22nd. I was a bit apprehensive on going at first, as I was under the impression that it was more of a "party resort" (we were concerned as we were travelling with two kids ages 9 and 11). I was wrong with that impression, it was such a nice, family oriented resort (maybe we were on the family side?). We were conveniently placed in block 7A which was close to the kids pool and the beach. Walking back to the lobby was no more than 7 minutes. We had no issues at all. The service from the staff was spectacular - nothing I had ever seen down South. We'd ask for room service, and, upon delivery, we'd receive a call from reception asking us about our experience. We were given 3600 resort credits to use on activities, spa, bali beds, and other amenities. I used some of my credits for the spa and it was a spectacular experience. We also rented out the bali beds for a few days which was REALLY nice - our attendant "Dariana" was fantastic and treated us so well on those days. All in all, I truly felt like a rockstar - top service amenities, the resort was beautiful and clean, great restaurants, the kids had a lot of fun (and so did the grown-ups!). True, the all inclusive is a bit more expensive than the other hotels in Punta Cana with the same rating, but the experience we had was far superior, the best we'd ever had! I can't wait to go again next year!

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Awesome.

The staff in the hotel were so friendly and always went above and beyond. You automatically felt like you were old friends. The hotel grounds are clean and beautifully maintained. Rooms were comfortable, well decorated and always clean. We enjoyed having the opportunity to go to several alacarte restaurants which were beautiful and the food was outstanding. The variety of food in each of them as well as in the buffets was served hot and was very pleasing to the eye. IFA Bavaro Village: A three star experience at IFA Bavaro

We did visit IFA Bavaro Village from Dec. 4 to Dec.14'2017 When we came to our room first evening, there was a dirty feminine pad in the sink, doors to washroom and bathroom were not clean. During our stay, the entertainment program wasn't posted anywhere and when someone printed us a schedule of entertainment in the resort, many events did not match the evenings, while daily night shows were only 3 times per week and 45 minutes or shorter. Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Amazing resort

Sirenis hotel in punta cana was the best. The employees were very friendly and hard workers to make the tourists to feel like home. Very nice weather, excelent food lot of drinks And every knight good show I didn't want to back to Canada

The Reserve at Paradisus Punta Cana: A nice place to relax

People are genuinely friendly, and the grounds are very well taken care of. You feel safe walking the vast grounds no matter what time of day. Suites at the Reserve are spacious if somewhat dated. Pools are beautiful and the Reserve area of the beach is not croweded with ample place to spread out. Food at the resort is average. Of all the a la carte restaurants only Vento stood out as memorable. It’s not as if the food is bad (it’s not), but don’t expect gourmet. Buffets for lunch are les [... read more]s than inspired (buffet at beach is better than buffet at reserve). Reservations for the a la carte restaurants were not hard to secure. Alcohol flows expected and premium brands can be found if you ask nicely. Kids club and activities for adults were a nice surprise.

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Amazing resort!

Beautiful place Highly recommended The staff is very nice and the food is pretty good! Only down part is that the resort started started getting over populated by our 5th day. But other then that everything was amazing
