Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana

For the cost of this vacation, I was not happy with any of the services. Housekeeping missed filling our amenities and didn't take any extra time to dress up the room at all. I stopped tipping after 2 days. Several times we had to take our drinks back to have them remade. Food although very edible, was hit or miss. The sun quest rep was misleading, gave us useless advice and was no where to be found to help us with our shuttle and departure times. This is supposed to be a 5 star resort. They need to step up their game.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Beautiful resort

this hotel is quite big, but it offers a lot. Dining in the buffet resturant is amazing, the 24 hrs snack bars are convinient, pools and beaches very nice - great place for a holiday. Nice and big suites, too. Great service and very friendly staff!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great time

This is a big resort, but easy to get around. The trolleys will take you anywhere you need to go. You may have to relax and wait a minute, but that is what vacations are for. The food was great...something for everyone. The staff are extremely, helpful and friendly. The grounds are very well kept. Lots of chairs on the beach. I recommend this resort and may actually go back, since there were parts of the resort I did not have time to experience.

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Beautiful garden resort

Although this resort was beautifully landscaped and well kept care of, there is no ocean water there fit to swim in as it is brown and full of jelly fish, so if you are going there for the ocean swimming, this is not the place but if the pool is water enough then it is good. There are a few water excursions that take you to the beautiful ocean water to swim in and they were very good, especially the Catalina Island one. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: great resort

We found it a bit loud and very busy. It is more for younger crowd. Disco was very loud the first night and kept us awake till it closed. Must of had complains as the rest of our time it was not as loud.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Relaxing, Friendly, Variety of Activities On Site

We had a very enjoyable time at this resort and are considering going back with family (Grandchildren etc.). Only minor things were exchanging money and would suggest more fresh vegetables to choose from (i.e. fresh fruit was excellent). Also found Trip Central an easy and thorough business to book this trip.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Not what I had booked !!

We booked this resort at the recommendations of a few different friends. To start, the Air Transat representative on the bus from the airport to the resort was impossible to understand. When we arrived, check in was disorganized and frustrating to say the least. We waited in line and when I reached the desk, I was handed a piece of paper to write my name, passport and email address, but I had to leave the line to do so, and come back. After waiting in line again, in the hot, un-air conditioned lobby we were told our room was not ready and to come back in 30 mins. Returned 40 mins later and it still wasn't ready. When we finally got our room and map of the resort I was very, very confused. I had booked the Luxury Ambar because we were told it was "right on the beach". I had reviewed the resort map on line prior to arriving. Imagine my surprise when I am handed a map with an entire section that wasn't shown on line. Apparently we were put in the "Ambar 2"!!! WHAT? Who knew there was a second one. It was NO WHERE near the beach and required a long walk of a shuttle. This is not what we had booked, AT ALL This section of the resort opened the Monday before we arrived. There were many, many kinks they still hadn't worked out. Phone lines didn't work, called room service and the phone just rings and rings, cleaning staff was overwhelmed (some days our room wasn't cleaned until 5 pm). It was difficult to secure al a carte resturant reservations and we were not able to for each night of our stay as everything was booked. We were placed on the third floor at the back of the building. Our balcony view was that of a service road and a pile of construction debris. When we headed to the beach the second morning at 9:10 am we were amazed to discover that there were NO chairs available. AT ALL!!! It appeared that the folks staying at the Ambar 1 (nice and close to the beach) were able to put towels on the chairs before heading for breakfast. The following day we get up early, have a quick breakfast and head to the beach again, this time arriving at 8:00 am. We secured the last TWO chairs!!! The food was good and the pool in the AMBAR 2 was nice. Never had a problem getting a chair at the pool (either because this area wasn't full or everyone was at the beach !) It's hard to rate each item because they are both good and bad. 1. Beach (poor, couldn't get seats) Pool (good, clean and lots of room) 2. Service - poor - (check-in was awful, any problems you brought forward were ignored) BUT Good - pool staff and wait staff were very attentive 4. Rooms - Poor (not what we booked, far from beach, horrible view of garbage) BUT also Good - (brand new and clean) PUNTA CANA airport was awful; Too many flights leaving at the same time through Air Transat. Line ups were very long

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Not As good as bahia Punta cana !

The beach was not really good, too many rocks.. Overall, service was lacking,,and we tip very well,,,,but it didn't seemto matter. Our room was not cleaned well at all. Food was somewhat disappointing. I wouldn't go back .

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Problems with sevice.

This was our second stay at this hotel.Last year we were very impressed with perfect service.The grounds and beach are very beautiful.But this time the hotel was overcrowded and administration seemed to have a hard time coping. At arrival the room assigned to us was already occupied when arriving late at night.This resulted in a frantic search for another room,which we found inferior. We had to ask for towels in our room several times and one night and part of a day we had no running water.Toilette could not be flushed. House phones did not work either. We were very disappointed.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: wonderful time!

This travel experience was impressive right from the start. The luxury option is worth it. Check in was smooth, quick and relaxed. Room service was a great feature as we had breakfast every morning on our private balcony. We received unlimited a la carte dinners - take advantage of the excellent chef's suggestions which were usually steak. The weather was fantastic - we went in late October. The service was prompt and top notch. As nothing is perfect - this came close.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Gourmet!

The restaurants are amazing! Brazilian, Mexican, French, Italian and the list goes on and on.....impecable service. The weather is perfect and there is miles and miles of sandy beaches. The room are spacious and very clean.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Great resort awesome people

The hotel was neat clean, very friendly people, no language barrier, the pools were very clean and the staff when they knew what you were having would bring you more without even asking them. The grounds were very well kept and the front desk was very very helpful!!!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great place to stay!

Resort grounds are beautiful and they have very friendly & courteous staff. A little tough hard to ask questions as most speak very little English at all. We went for a wedding and the resort wedding coordinator & photographer were phenomenal! A la carte food was amazing and really enjoyed the assortment of food at the buffet.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: BAHIA PRINCIPE - ADULT ONLY HOTEL

The hotel I found was quite isolated and I preferred the Coba or the other associated hotel over the one I stayed at. However, I must say, It was my birthday and they went above and beyond. I was so surprised and grateful. Truly amazing. I feel the front desk staff should be more educated on common questions that may be asked and some of them didn't speak English very well. The info session should have been held at my hotel instead of the Coba. Everyone else had their session at their home base. [... read more] Everything was extremely clean, pools, rooms etc. The other hotels had way more events and activities then my hotel. I spent very little time at my hotel. The pools were not lively at all. Some of them weren't even tended to. Definitely not what I expected. I would recommend staying at the Adult hotel only because of all the perks I received. I was served the best of all liqueurs inclusive, better towel service etc., you also get to utilize all the associated hotel's benefits and all their amenities as well. However I would recommend, visiting all the other hotels associated. All the amenities are closer and within walking distance or a quick trip on the train(golf cart). The event and activity schedules involving all the pools were not on par. They were at the other hotels.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Fabulous resort!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Every part of the resort is lovely even though it is a huge complex. The grounds are kept meticulously tidy and trimmed. The food is excellent, and the wait staff are always eager to serve. We travelled with a couple who come here every year, and it is easy to see why.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Excellent resort

This is a beautiful resort, the grounds were kept beautiful and clean, it is a very large place, lots of walking, the pool was always clean. Several restaurants to choose from, food was very good, you had many choices to choose from. Great evening entertainment on the terrace. Thank you Tripcentral for recommending this place. My only negative comment would be the stairs, for elderly people, like me, I found the stairs a little difficult to climb. Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Consistantly Wonderful!!

This our 4th visit to the exact location, and consistanly we have had an amazing stay. The food is amazing, the staff is very helpful, the grounds are kept immaculate and the activities are always there if that's what you are looking for. Our only disappointment, is that the rooms are now in need of some repair, although the staff keeps them extremely clean.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Class resort

This resort is absolutely gorgeous. The staff if full of life and were swift to ensure that they could assist you in anyway. The food I'd very good and well presented. This was a awesome and unforgettable get away!

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Great Resort

We just returned from a great week at the Gran Bahia Principe Cayacoa. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms and ground were immaculate. The food was excellent, we tried all 3 a la carts which were great. The buffet had lots of selection so it was easy for everyone to find something they liked. The entertainment and bartenders were a lot of fun which made our vacation really enjoyable. Dario, Alex, Fernando and Carlos were the best.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Really good, large

We enjoyed our stay had some issues with showers, but liked the beach and pool areas , food was good , the mixed drinks could be better more consistence with the ratio of booze to mix . I think I refer a smaller resort but this was fun and staff friendly
