Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Simply Amazing!

In December 5 of us girlfriends went to Iberostar Paraiso Beach and all of us were amazed at the service we received!! Everyone was happy to help us out and we felt so welcomed. The entertainment was AWESOME, from shows every night to activities on the beach and at the pool. We had SO much fun :) Would highly recommend this to anyone!

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great place

This hotel is awesome for the price, really cheap for a 5 star resort. Great fishing from shore walking distance from resort. The beach is just a collection of water breaks designed to slow the waves down, not very appealing, ok for kids. to rough outside of breaks to snorkel. The only other complaint I have is the premier staff are always out in the middle of the entrance ways hounding the guests to attend there package meeting. We were accosted multiple times a day, to the point we started  [... read more]to avoid the area, and really only went thru that zone when we were going to eat at the buffet. all in all a great place to go will be going back for years to come.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Second time and still great

We are a family of five and Kantenah rooms fit all of us. Really enjoyed the resort, food and excursions. The kids really love the white nosed coaties We came three years ago and plan to come again in the future.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Beautiful resort in the jungle

We just returned from a week away at this resort. Overall we had a fantastic holiday. We opted for the package which allows for unlimited access to the Xcaret park which we took full advantage of visiting many times both day and night. We are a family of 4 with two children ages 5 and 8. Pros: Resort is very clean and grounds are beautiful. It is secluded and there are no other resorts in site. It feels very safe and you can walk it easily. Lots of animal to be seen around including monkeys, [... read more] coatis etc. Ample pools and chairs available. Pools are a little cold but ok. Food was decent and there is a good choice of restaurants. No booking required. The beach buffet is in a beautiful setting. Some more variation in the food would be good but overall we found lots to eat. No illness. We heard complaints about booze being watered down but this is pretty standard in Mexico. Service was friendly and attentive. Staff at kids club were very kind to children. Beach- it's a man made beach and quite small. It's a cove which worked well for us and there were no waves so children could swim safely. Other beaches in the area are much more beautiful but the undercurrent can be strong. Xcaret park is incredible. Tons to do. There are lots of optimal extras but we didn't do any and still loved the park. Cons- Some hassle to attend time share demos. We did attend and weren't given any hassle when we said a firm no. Beach loungers get snatched up quickly. Need to reserve early morning. Rooms are quite small. Typical hotel rooms rather than suites. No bath. Overall a lovely resort. More suited to families who want to attend Xcaret.

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Absolutely an amazing resort

We loved the intimate size of the resort. We love to snorkel, great here. We love to play beach volleyball, excellent. The entertainment crew is incredible. We are already looking at returning to this resort.

Grand Oasis Riviera: Quiet and Lovely!

We picked this resort for its smaller size, its closeness to Chichen Itza, but mostly for its advertisement as “the quiet resort”. We weren’t disappointed. Food was great, employees friendly and the coffee bar a great addition.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great Resort

We stayed in the adult only section of the resort, building 83. The rooms were spotless, large and the king size bed was very comfy. We had dinner at five a la carte restaurants all very good, the seafood restaurant Furtos del Mar was exceptional! Breakfast and lunch at the buffets offered many choices. Our only complaint with the resort was with the beach chairs in the adult only section. Although there were signs on each cabana stating no reserving, guest did so anyways and the staff did  [... read more]not monitor. Towels were placed on chairs and guests wouldn't show up for several hours later. We found after a few days we need to wake up at 6:00 am to reserve beach chairs, not much fun! Lastly, our check out time was at 7:00 am, it would have been nice if Air Transat Holidays worked with the hotel to ensure coffee and a light breakfast was available before we left the resort and drove 90 minutes to the airport.

Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: Awesome!

From start to finish secrets was an amazing time.from the friendly staff to the great food and beautiful grounds. Your sure to love secrets silversands. I would definitely recommend this place and can't wait to go back.

Barcelo Maya Palace: Best location

Resort is good, very clean everywhere but with evarage service Prices in resort stores just out of mind. Service stuff is not really welcoming. Always looking for tips without doing a good jobs. Show level is really low and it is kind of boring atmosphere

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great Vacation!

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at Ocean Riviera Paradise! The grounds were beautiful; very well kept; and clean. Staff was super friendly and engaging. We really enjoyed the food; especially our meals at Steakhouse and Blue Moon. We would love to return and will be recommending this resort to our friends and family.

Sandos Playacar Beach Resort: Good value family vacation

Our family of four spent a week at the Sandos Playacar at the end of November. The Playacar Beach is fabulous, and we have previously stayed at other resorts in this area, without kids at the time, so our priorities for resort were different this time. Sandos Playacar was good value for our family vacation, with good quality food in both the buffet and a la carte restaurants. It is a very activity-oriented resort, with entertainment staff keeping things going on the beach from 10 am to 4 pm e [... read more]very day of the week, every day with a different themed beach experience. Other travelers might have loved this, but for our family of four, we would have liked having a quiet day on the beach, or a shorter program where there are a couple hours of sunlight available where it is quiet by the beach chairs. There was always music, games, and noise right in front of the section of the beach set aside for families, which got tiresome after about day 4. The beach section rooms are very conveniently located right where the main pool, beach, and buffet restaurant is, and from previous reviews, we knew they were tired and worn out, so it was something we were prepared to live with. Our boys (aged 6 and 8 years old) liked the arcade games. Overall a good choice for our family vacation.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Absolutly amazing!

This hotel was pure joy. Breathtakingly beautiful as well. We enjoyed every moment. Friendly staff and clean accommodations. I highly recommend this hotel. The tours were beautiful and very well organized. The staff was very helpful and always smiling. I have stayed here twice now. The pools were warm and the view was incredible. We will be going back as soon as we can!

Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Incredible resort!

Five starts for this resort and we would go back in a minute. The hotel was beautiful, staff was incredibly friendly and the food was amazing. Only ding would be that it was hard to find the restaurants, maybe suggest a tour or distributing a map when you get there. Amazing, definitely recommend this resort!

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: The best of the best !

Just come back from our 8th visit in 10 years. It confirms of how we appreciate this hotel ! Wonderful grounds, staff, food, rooms and amenities. Great place for those who look for luxury in a relaxing place.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Great resort, best resort service I've ever experienced

The resort is spread out, 3 pools and the beach and there will be some walking. This balances well with the amazing food. If you need anything just ask. The staff will amaze you At every request, honest, just ask.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Amazing resort!!

The resort and hotel is amazing!! Very well kept and clean! The beach is amazing! The food was great! I love how you can go eat anywhere, use any pool, etc. It's great for adults or families. We totally loved it and would definitely return.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: First Visit

We enjoyed that this is a smaller resort than ones previously visited. It is well laid out so that you never feel crowded.The beach was beautiful - long and wide! You have to be there before 10 am to get a seat. There seems to be too many palapas for privilege which are not utilized and not enough for regular guests. We liked the centralized restaurant/bar area. You could easily move from dinner to drinks to entertainment. The food at the restaurants was okay to good, we found nothing fabulous. Our original room was in a terrible location, noisy with lots of traffic and noisy people passing so it was hard to sleep. We eventually were able to get a room change and upgraded to a quieter lovely room. We would visit again but it would definitely depend on the price.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Gorgeous Resort

We absolutely loved this resort. The food was amazing. You could enjoy the best buffet breakfast and lunch and a la carte dinners. The French and Italian were our favourite. All staff were very friendly. We stayed In the Golden Section which had a lazy river right in front. I did not think we would enjoy it half as much as we did. The food you can order around the lazy river was wonderful. The rooms were beautiful and cleaned regularly. The only negative for us was the beach. It was very rough w [... read more]ith larger waves as it was a little stormy. This was due to weather nothing to due with the resort. We had a wonderful holiday.

Selection Riviera Cancun: Excellent vacation

We've been to the Azul Sensatori resort 4 times, and each time it was a very satisfying experience. The service is impeccable. Waiters, grounds-keepers, chambermaids, support staff, managers, luggage handlers, lobby staff, etc, were extremely professional, courteous, always smiling, always cheerful, always willing to help.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Memories to last a lifetime!

Thank you Iberostar Paraiso Beach for making our vacation for our group of 8 so amazing. The beach and ocean was so beautiful and clean. The pool, bars and food was excellent. Not a complaint to be made, the food selection and quality exceeded my expectation. Japanese A la carte restaurant was rated the best by our group. Shout out to Lilliane and Luis from the entertainment staff. We miss your smile Lilly. The grounds are lush, full of wildlife. Only two recommendations during our stay: could use more trolley service ( I enjoyed the walking this time as we didn't have our younger kids with us) and more music for all pool bars.
