Couples Tower Isle: Can’t wait to go back!

Hotel was wonderful. The food was excellent and lots of variety! Staff was attentive and friendly. Wish we stayed longer. We will be going back! Rooms are clean and fridge always stocked. Bus ride is a little long but worth it!

Secrets Wild Orchid: Gorgeous Resort

The Secrets Wild Orchid was stunning, our swim up ocean view room was breath taking. The food & entertainment was fabulous and the ocean was crystal clear. Our Butlers Adia & Devon did an amazing job with helping arrange our dinners, to transportation & loungers at the beach everyday. Our rooms were cleaned everyday & frig stocked with drinks & snacks. Riu Reggae: Nice Resort!

I Would not classify this hotel as a 5*. Staff was great through out the hotel, except the front reception. They were not helpful or friendly. They just could not be bothered. Other staff was great. Food was good with lots of selection. Hotel rooms were basic. Entertainment was fantastic. I loved that the pools and beach were very close to each other. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Would go to this resort again!!!!

Staff were great! Service was fantastic. Resort was extremely clean. Entertainment was excellent! Food and Restaurants were fantastic. We will be returning forsure ! Beautiful pools and beaches were great. ?

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Perfect family vacation

Let’s start off with the check in . We are a group of 10 . We had requested a room with double beds for my son and his friend I even sent an email . Once we arrived they informed us that they did not have a double bed room till 3 days into our vacation. We were a bit upset but the boys weee okay with it. I don’t understand as the resort is massive and should be able to accommodate groups. Other than that . We will be booking for 14 days next year . The cabana girl by the name of Christine was the most amazing and beautiful person we met . She went beyond her role to make our cabana experience even better than we had planned. Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: Great family vacation

The hotel was great. Staff and food were excellent. Beware - most rooms are outdated and many guests complained that they smell like mold. Luckily we upgraded when we arrived and got a nice new modern room. I believe you would need to get a junior king suite or higher to stay on the modern side. I would recommend calling and booking directly with the hotel to confirm that you are getting a modern new room. Otherwise you’ll be disappointed.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Would not return to this hotel!

I was not impressed by this resort at all considering it was supposed to be a 5 star, it really wasn’t. More like a 3 1/2 star, the grounds were not well kept, very dirty, run down rooms. Service was poor u less you tipped well. They were always missing beach towels every day and sometime room towels. The beach was nice but not well kept as there was a lot of sea weed due to storm, but they didn’t remove the seaweed or all the garbage that was left on beach chairs. Ocean Eden Bay: Overall Great Vacation

The resort was in a beautiful location. It was about a 40 minute drive from the airport. Food was really good, mostly buffets but some fancier table-service options for dinner. Open bars at the pool and near the beach. Not a ton of area to swim at the beach and water was quite shallow. However, the pool was a fair size and clean. Rooms were very spacious and nicely decorated.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Clean resort

Entertainment staff was good. Buffett cold didn’t matter on the time you went. Room needed repair, mentioned never fixed. Resort very clean. Cooks always looked unhappy Bartenders were great We will not be going back. Very large resort, lots of walking to get to places.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Terrific resort with exceptional food and service

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Well-kept grounds and rooms with exceptional food. There is something for everyone. Things to do or just relax in the sun and the staff will take good care of you. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: I love Jamaica

The grounds were beautiful, the staff amazing, the rooms were ok and the food on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day was excellent. Can't say enough about the staff., they were kind and helpful. Karaoke each night was fun and the overall entertainment staff did an excellent job. Excellent A la carte restaurants. The resort was an hour away from the airport, and the shopping in Ochi was an excellent experience. Try the Starbucks and KFC when you visit. I Would go back in a heartbeat!

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Our happy place

This was our second time at the Riu Tropical Palace in Negril. The beds are comfy, and the rooms are set up with everything you need, including a well stocked mini bar. The beach is beautiful, and there are lots of loungers in the shade. There is no need to wake up at 6:00am, to hunt for them. The food at the buffet, is the best we have ever had anywhere! One bartender named Gray, went and got me Ting, ( a Jamaican grapefruit drink), when I mentioned it was available last Christmas, and was disappointed that I could not have it this holiday. I believe he went to the store himself, and purchased it. This is 5 star service! We loved the laughter at the bar, with all the bartenders, who are obviously good friends, this makes a warm and fun experience for everyone:) I had one complaint, which I voiced to the manager… The lights in the ladies washroom, were on an energy time saver. The problem was, they would go out after about 15 seconds, and the whole bathroom was pitch black. The next day after dinner, when I used the ladies room, the problem was corrected. We met lots of wonderful guests from all over the world, who we enjoyed getting to know very much. This is a very lovely beach resort, suitable for couples, friends, or families. It has a gentle, calm and welcoming atmosphere for all.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Jamaica, what a country

First time in Jamaica. Compared to other countries hotel was clean enough. Food 9/10 Beach 7/10 Entertainment 6.7/10 Christmas party celebrations could have been more extravagant. Hotel staff also were not too friendly but got better later on. No volleyball, huge disappointment along with beach being just okay.

Ocean Coral Spring: Relaxing and Worth it

I was sceptical of the resort based on some reviews regarding the resort showing its age, but it really is a fantastic resort.Some tiles cracked and the grout needs repair, but that had no impact on how much we enjoyed our trip. The decor is absolutely stunning. The pools are great for young kids. We travelled with our 19 month old and she had a blast. I was also 7 months pregnant and never felt that it was a chore to walk places - it’s the perfect sized resort. The beach is rocky, but bring shoes and you’ll be fine. Our only complaint is that it is far from the airport (an hour without stops). On our way there, Sunwing was very poorly organized and it took over 2 hours to get to the hotel with stops. They provided no water and no food was available at the airport so it was a long day without anything to eat.

Riu Reggae: Great Resort

Loved the Resort Set Up. Everything close by. Couldn’t get lost looking for Restaurants, Pools, Bars, or Ocean. All right there. Rooms were a little more complicated, but figured it out. My biggest complaint was the whole App business. Wanted us to check in with App Book Restaurants with App Book return bus with App Had horrible time getting VIP Lounge at Airport Talked to Sunwing Rep 6 times ! Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Awesome Resort

The resort grounds and buildings were beautiful. There were so many great options for restaurants. The food was incredible and the service very good. Our room in building 26 on the Luxury side of the resort was very large and comfortable with an impressive view of the Ocean from the moment you open the door. It definitely is worth the bit extra to have ocean view. The evening entertainment was ok with various acts each night like Violin or piano and or singer plus a main show that is about  [... read more]an hour. Most nights afterwards there was a Karaoke sports bar to fall back to. The resort is quite large so it's great for walking and the beaches ranged from ok to good depending on what you are used to. The Bahia ap is convenient to book and keep track of your reservations as well as for speeding up check-in and for self check out. Don Pablo's and The Knife restaurants were probably my favourites, but the Japanese and Asian were both really good also. For Lunch Jazmin, the Round Island, and Las Olas were all great. Pisces was ok and convenient. All had views of the ocean while dining. For day bars Coconuts on the beach was the best with waiter service on the beach being a nice Luxury we enjoyed.

Riu Negril: Five Star all the Way!

Where to start? The people; the resort staff are absolutely wonderful, super professional and helpful. The activities staff are super fun, and great at drawing shy people in to include them in activities. There are lots of activities to suit everyone's interests. My favourite shows were the Jamaican cultural evening and the Silver Wings Steel Pan band. The food was excellent, we ate mainly at the buffet because we like to eat outside and there was a great variety of food, I rarely had the same t [... read more]hing more than twice and the fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. The facilities were well maintained and cleaned. Our only disappointment was the beach was closed due to high surf for most of the week but not the hotel's fault, there are three lovely, clean pools with lots of activities to compensate.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Xmas family trip

This is my review of our stay from Dec 16-23 i would 1st say if you can get Club Mobay make sure you do as it save so much time. I then would suggest a private transfer so you are not waiting on the bus for who knows how many people. we used Garreth Brown from get on board tours which was the best, best prices and with the price you get a drink included. The rooms in Building 18 are completely renovated and are amazing. The pools- the pools are a little cold when you 1st get in but otherwise are amazing and swim up bar is the best. The staff make sure pool is clean every morning, we would be down by the pool by 830 am and no problem getting a chair to sit on. Beach- the grand side beach is so large and never hard to find a spot to sit, the beach is well taken care of and little to no rocks going into the ocean and the ocean water is very warm as we spent a morning in the ocean well it was raining. they have a beach bar and also the jerk shack that is a must try. entertainment staff- All I can say is they are the nicest and most outgoing people you will meet at the resort restaurants- buffets are well stocked and so many choices to pick from and always easy to find food you want. a la carte Restaurants- the knife-food was very good but the timing of getting food could be better as it took over 1 hour to get are main dishes Dolce vita(italian cuisine) the service was amazing and the food was very good and good size meals Mikado- the service was again amazing and the food was so good and was fun having it cooked in front of you Bars- service at times were slow but they are all so happy to serve drinks and lots of choices. i would say not to pay for the luxury side unless you don't want to be around kids if that is the case then go to adult only resort. For this resort most things are on the Grand side, the resort is big not hard to walk around in a short time. They have the shopping area on property called the village and you can get everything you need from there. We never checked out the disco as we stayed at the karaoke bar which is in the main lobby of the grand side. So for the people that bitch and complain about this resort i am not sure why as we have always stayed at Sandals resorts before this and I would go back to this resort. not all elevators work but not a big deal, so if you are on the fence about this resort becasue of the people that complain about the smallest inconveniences DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM go and have a great time as they must be a little to entitled for this resort then.
