Riu Palace Paradise Island: Nice resort on a gorgeous island

We thought the hotel was beautiful. I suppose you could call some of the décor "dated", but certainly not in need of repair. The room was very nice with a breathtaking view of the island and ocean. If you can get on one of the higher floors, you simply cannot beat the view. The food was great every night. We tried the steak house one night, but I really dislike their policy of not taking reservations and requiring people to stand in line for over a half an hour if you want to eat in an a l [... read more]a carte. The staff was all amazing and very friendly, especially in the buffet restaurant. The ONLY negatives would be that the Wi-Fi was very unreliable, but I'm on vacation so I shouldn't be on my devices anyway. That and only one of the three elevators goes to the 15th floor, so you get a little screwed there, but you can always take another elevator to the 14th floor and walk a flight of stairs to burn off the delicious conch fritters.

Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Good resort

I recently stay at the Viva Wyndham Resort in the Bahamas from Jan 14th- 21st..first thing I want to say is that the weather was beautiful for the whole week..25°c plus🌞😎 no rain! My room was good except had a crappy view after I asked for ocean view..no biggie..only slept in the room..The beach was good, water was a lil cold for first few days but last 2 days it was warmer....the pool is NOT heated and that kinda sucked...the buffet was ok...Italian a la carte was awesome...the staff ar [... read more]e friendly and they are also the entertainment...good job everyone😆...the alcohol is not the best but it does get you drunk or feeling good....give a lil tip and I'm sure you can get the better stuff😉..overall it was a good vacation for the low price we paid...we met some new friends and that made our vacation even better 🖒

Food - very good Grounds- clean and safe Hotel- a little outdate, could use some repairs, ie: painting- balconies, outside handrails and plaster repairs on walls Specialty Restaurants- service 5 out of 10 Pool- very good Beach Area- very good Entertainment- lacking in the evening time, after the pool closed at 6pm Staff- friendly and helpful Would return to this resort in the future, but overall we had a great time and experience

It was a second visit to RIU on Paradise Island On the first visit 3 years ago we had a good time, so we booked for a second time... and we where unpleasantly surprised how things changed Hotel looks dated and Needs to be renovated, food was also not so grate On the arrival they used to serve full dinner ... not this time... we where gritted with cold hotdogs and cold burgers and some lettuce ( they did not have enough vegetables for all grup that came that day...) Sandals Royal Bahamian: Sandals Bahamas

3 night stay. Friday thru Monday. Check in was slow and a bit over the top. At least 30 mins to get thru process where they try to explain everything. Personal escort to the room where baggage arrived later. Grounds are very nice but the beach is realitively small and not really walkable. Food is acceptable but not anything to write home about. Only real complaint would be that after a Friday arrival and a day at the beach Saturday we returned to our room at 5:00 to find it hadn't been cleaned. [... read more] Getting ready for dinner 1 HR later a knock at the door to clean the room was not well received. We simply got a few new towels and sent her in the way. Sunday was no better...again we returned to a room that hadn't been touched. Really! Should also note that a Late nite snack plate sat outside our room for 3 days and was still there when we left in Monday . Must say staff are friendly but that is my experience with all Bahamian residents. It was my first sandals experience would try again but not in Nassau.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Location is fantastic

The hotel is very old but you can't complain because it's a good price. Who wants to spend time in their room anyway when the beach is so amazing. The food is great. The fridge broke and the coffee maker didn't work which was mildly annoying but once you get to the beach it doesn't matter. I can't wait to visit again

Grounds were nice, food at buffet below pár but beach is beautiful and staff are very nice and helpful. Hotel itself is a bit outdated bút clean and offers all amenities. Next door to altlantis. Short cab ride to downtown Nassau. Jet ski is 5* Enjoy

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Lovely resort and staff

Beautiful hotel, the staff was very friendly, very hospitable. Good variety of food everyday, very clean! The only issue would be the beds. We were three adults sharing what seemed like two twin beds pushed together...the hotel would do well to bring in proper, full double beds. Other than that we had a wonderful time!

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Enjoyed my vacation

This is a place that one can really enjoy their vacation. However it has its good, bad, and ugly sides: Good: Beautiful views of the pool and beach from our room. Excellent variety of foods; friendly and attentive staff; plenty to drink; less than 5 mins walk into Atlantis and its entertainments; plenty of things to do off the hotel grounds, easy ride into downtown for shopping or sight seeing and local food in the fish fry area. The beach  [... read more]is awesome and so clear you can see school of fish swimming around you without having to use goggles Bad: The daily and nightly entertainment needs some upgrading; the gym could use a room with a view to outside Ugly: At first glance our room looked very good. Then the details started been visible... carpet is shredding and has holes in some places; furniture and doors are badly banged up and worn; green stuff growing on pipe fixtures and towel hangers in bathroom and floor constantly wet from some leaking; TV and phone issues; cleaning staff forgetting to remove dirty pillow cases and towels from the room after changing them. The place needs some upgrading badly.

Breezes Bahamas: "Breezes was Amazing"

Out recent stay at the Breezes was just what the doctor ordered. The resort was more than I expected, after reading all the reviews about the resort I was a bit skeptical. However am so glad that I got my own personal experience and I must say, do not believe everything you read, have your own experience. The room was a good size room thank God I had a king size bed with lots of room...the view was great, the food was delicious. The service was excellent, especially those that serve in the dini [... read more]ng area. What do people really expect to pay for a 3 star hotel and received a 5 star service. If they want that kind of service then go pay for a 5 star and get a 3 star service. Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Amazing Resort!

My daughters and I just vacationed at this resort (December 31st to January 7th) and had such an amazing time! The resort has been completely renovated following the hurricane in October. It has high end wicker furniture around the pool and seating areas, our room was updated facing the beautiful ocean, the buffet area and seating areas were all new, there are tennis courts, archery, bicycles to use, trapeze, work out area with sauna, endless beach chairs to lay on by the beach and a beach bar [... read more] close by for drinks and snacks. Above all, the beach was nothing but sand (freshly grated each day) and the ocean and we loved how close this so quaint resort was to the beach. There was also a sports area with an abundance of water toys to sign out. The staff were incredibly courteous and worked so hard to ensure all their guests were having a fabulous time! Also, the night time entertainment was so very enjoyable! I can't say enough wonderful things about this resort and felt so special the whole time we were there. This is definitely a family oriented resort. My daughters and I would highly recommend it to any family. We loved the Bahamas, the extremely friendly people and how safe of a place it is. We most definitely will be back to Bahamas!

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Butler service not worth it

The hotel itself is beautiful. Everyone is friendly, food is amazing, always pool/beach chairs available. The issue we had was with the butler service. We paid an extra $ 1000.00 to have this service, and we were ignored the entire time. They gave us a cell phone, but they either didn't answer, or the phone was dead. They had to go to their Manager to request a charger for it. We waited several hours for a response from our butlers. Total waste waste waste of money.

Sandals Emerald Bay: Outstanding Resort

This is one of the best Sandals we have ever been to. Service,Food,Location,Room and everything else was just what we where looking for. We where very impress with the staff service and their friendliness.We shall return.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: not so good

It's definitely a 3 star not 4 star resort. It needs to be updated. And resort stuff could be friendlier. Air conditioning leaked, not enough variety of food selection, not enough tables at buffet, huge lineups to get to a restaurant. Beach terrible to cramped and public. Wouldn't go again to that hotel even though we have been at RIU resorts before in other countries. We went because of Atlantis but next time once Beach Resort goes all inclusive that's where we would stay.

The Royal at Atlantis: fantastic trip

Was in in Nassau from Dec 5th to Dec 15th , stayed at the beach towers at Atlantis, the resort was beautiful and the staff was so nice! The beach is beautiful, and the pools were awesome too! Will revisit in the future and trip central was great to book with!

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Best trip of life

Food was insanely amazing. Employees were so friendly and happy. Resort was just beautiful. Just amazing. Wow. My first world problem would be the room. The bed isn't the most comfiest. But that's really all.

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Great Resort!!

The resort was lovely, staff very friendly and the food was amazing. We paid a lot of money for an oceanview which to me wasn't worth it because we only saw a glimpse of it. Very disappointed with that. Room service took a very long time, over an hour each time for a simple order.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Wonderful and relaxing

While the decor was slightly outdated, we had a wonderful time at the Riu Palace. The staff were all amazing and kind, everyone (and I mean everyone) made sure we were happy and comfortable for our entire stay. The beach and access were beautiful and felt safe to walk on and enjoy the view. The food at the resort was delicious. We ate at the Krystal and the Gourmet restaurants as well as the Buffet. It definitely needs a little updating, but I think they are planning that anyway. The pool was nice enough.... could have used a hot tub though. The three days we were there were quite windy and cool. We used the gym area and it was nice as well, weights from 5lbs up to 50lbs and machines, also cold water available -- was lacking towels for wiping perspiration as it was incredible hot in the gym. Overall we had a wonderful time, drank delicious drinks, ate amazing food and relaxed fully! Was totally worth what we paid.

The Royal at Atlantis: BEAUTIFUL RESORT

The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are well kept and most of all the staff is amazing. Very polite always greeting you and going the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable. This is my second visit at Atlantis and I am never disappointed. The only con it's very expensive at the resort. We ate out most of the time love the Bahamian food.
