Paradisus Cancun: Great Resort had a good time!

Pros: Buffet food was good and lots of variety Entertainment: Good Customer Service - Was very good, all staff members were pleasant and helpful Cons: Strong scent located throughout the main lobby so if you are sensitive to smell this may bother some people Water leaks from patio doors within the rooms during rains and winds causing a safety issue with slippery floors Interior rooms need repairs i.e. washrooms doors off tracks, patio doors seized Ceiling leaks throughout hallways fr [... read more]om heavy rain fall causing a hazard No condiments in the buffets you had to ask for salt/pepper, ketchup etc Any drinks you can never get them to taste the same twice, that seems to be a common with all inclusive Ala cart Restaurants - Hit and miss, frequently items were not available Beach area umbrellas were missing lawn chairs (14 empty) so a challenge to find a place to sit on the beach The beautiful turquoise water was turbulent, so be aware, this could be a challenge for some swimmers Be aware of staff trying to sell you memberships to the Melia resort Overall had a great time!!

Riu Latino: Five Star Experience

The hotel amenities are top notch! Foods and beverages are consistently good and there are variety of choices in all the restaurant (buffet and a ala carte) I also loved the bar inside the room.I also enjoyed the zumba and other games everyday. There splashworld slide added more fun at the pool. The beach view and atmosphere is relaxing.

Riu Caribe Cancun: Loved every minute spent at this resort

I'm not sure why this resort has any bad reviews. We spent a week with our teenage daughters and they had an amazing time. The beach is absolutely beautiful, the resort is clean, nicely decorated and the food is so diversified. Yes, there are some food items that are repeating, but when you have over 100 types of food, I'm sure even the pickiest person can find something delicious. The only thing I wish they will change is the timing for RIU Party. Because that's adults only, our kids lost 3- [... read more]4 evenings with no shows because of this party. Riu, please keep in mind that the shows are nice in the evening and some people prefer a show instead of the party. Maybe find a way to offer both? The rooms are spacious, fridge is always full with beverages, we will go back to Riu Caribe.

Riu Palace Peninsula: Great place.

Good food and rooms. The resort is clean and lots of staff working all day for the upkeep. We took the city bus to Mercado 28 and down to CoCo Bongo. With taking the bus for sure. Cheap and not a far ride. The area is very safe for walking as well.

Riu Latino: Beautiful resort

The room was Very clean but wished they bleached sheets and had better pillows. Food done very well. Everything very clean. Servers pleasent and work hard. The shows were good. The pools clean. The spa was nice but they didn't tell us about the hot tubs and steam room. We had to find the hotel schedule ourselves. They were attentive to my husband's birthday also.

Riu Latino: Amazing Resort

Overall, we absolutely loved this resort! Food - 5/5, many great options, with multiple great restaurants as well Swimming pools - 5/5 multiple pools, two have bars, one has a volleyball net and one has their main events/activities such as crazy games and dancing classes Room - great! Large and he view was great! Staff - 5/5 absolutely love the entertainment team and staff in the hotel. Ps: the entertainment team was amazing and they would remember “The Romanian”

Oleo Cancun Playa: Amazing place.

This place is amazing. The restaurants are all great with a huge selection of food, there is something for everyone. All the staff are amazing & go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect during your stay. I highly recommend the Oleo to anyone looking for a great destination experience.

Oleo Cancun Playa: Great little resort

The Oleo Cancun Playa was the perfect spot for our group of 14 to spend a week together. Beds were cleaned and comfortable. Rooms spacious with enough closet and drawer space for two of us easily. The bathroom shower door did not hold the water I. So we had water 9n the floor after each shower. Rooms were cleaned well each day we asked. The food was good at all the eating areas and I did not tire of the buffet as I have at previous resorts visited. The service at the Asian restaurant was not as good, but I enjoyed my meal there as well. Each day I visited the coffee bar and always had great service with a smile. The poolside activities were lots of fun and different every day. This area was lots of fun as well as clean and easily accessible. The evening entertainment was simple but fun and the young people leading the activities day and evening were very personable and really good at there jobs. Thank you. I would for sure recommend this resort to anyone.

Grand Oasis Palm: Disappointed in the resort, expected better from an Oasis

First I want to shout out to the staff, who were friendly and gracious. Our room - rock hard beds, outlets that wouldn't hold a cord, cut lamp cords. House keeping was good. Buffet food and selection was marginal at best, mixed drinks awful. Pasta restaurant passable. Coffee shop amazing. Of all the places in the area I have visited, this was by far the least value for the money paid. It was not a budget price. Riu Latino: Nice resort, has potential.

The best thing about the resort is that it is spotless and the rooms are lovely. We also enjoyed not having the hassle of booking reservations at the restaurants, instead you just show up and if you have to wait for a table then they give you a buzzer to let you know when to come back. The beach was nice as well and never had trouble finding a lounge chair at the beach or poolside. Areas where the resort was lacking….pools! They had several small pools, two were swim up bar pools but very s [... read more]mall and overcrowded. I would much rather have had a large pool that you can swim around than serval small ones- very choppy. Another big miss at this resort is the lack of bathrooms- if you need to use the washroom and are at the beach or pool you basically need to run to the main lobby as there are only two bathrooms near the pool and only one stall each for men and 2 for women. The lack of washrooms is actually unbelievable. None of the a La carte restaurants have washrooms so you need to go to the one bathroom in the main lobby. Entertainment also lacking….stayed a week and only two decent shows. There should have been entertainment nightly but this was not the case. Majority of staff and guests are Spanish speaking so all activities and entertainment is in Spanish with little in English. Activities near pool were repetitive and activity staff seemed young and not very engaging. This is a small resort- if you are going to relax it’s great. If you want good entertainment it is lacking. If you need a bathroom good luck.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Good Resort

Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa: Dreams in October

We stayed at Dreams Playa Mujeres in October and it was wonderful. Weather was beautiful although too windy to snorkel. Rain one evening in the week. I'd say the Sunwing reps are hard to get a hold of to book excursions, etc but it was worth booking through them for the discount. The two concierges at the front desk went out of their way to track down our Sunwing rep at Secrets next door, which was really appreciated. Resort was beautiful. Very clean, well kept. Our garden view room ha [... read more]d 2 views of the Gulf which was very nice for morning coffee. Service was wonderful, the employees work hard, with long days. I wish I could remember the names of the two bartenders in the pool closest to the beach (the fun pool!) - they were great at what they do, super friendly, and would remember your drink of choice. One even tried to make our Iceburgs extra fancy and we're trying to recreate it at home! They also treat kids very well - our daughter had no trouble ordering her virgin mango daquiris and they'd remember her choice as well. Plenty of fun drinks appropriate for kids. Berenice in the teen zone was so friendly, always positive and helpful with the kids and archery - there is a lot for kids/teens to do and we felt super safe letting her roam on her own or with a new friend. Our 2 hibachi chefs were fun and talented and the food was delicious. We also tried Gaucho which is a brazilian steakhouse and the food was really good. There was an outdoor buffet with fire show that you can't miss, felt like a real fiesta. The regular buffet was our go-to for the selection and fresh grilled options. Room service was ok. Tried the Delphinius swimming with dolphins which was awesome and decently priced, but the pictures available for purchase were way too expensive. Took a cab to Market 28 in Cancun and it was a waste of time really, unless you had something specific in mind do yourself a favour and either grab the ferry to Isla Mujeres or buy souvenirs at the airport instead - there's a huge selection there. Would stay at Dreams again, this was our first experience with them and we were all really impressed. Would also book with Danielle Smith at TripCentral again - she was super helpful and patient with me in finding the right place to go!

Planet Hollywood Adult Scene Cancun by Royalton: Great Resort

The grounds were maintained very well, dining was excellent, staff was wonderful , rooms were spacious and clean. Activities were fun, Scenery was beautiful. Had a wonderful trip!!Would definitely come back to same resort next vacation

Secrets The Vine Cancun: Amazing resort

Excellent amenities, beach and pools are great, food and beverages are excellent, night entertainment needs improvement, lobby to increase ventilation, staff are very friendly. Presentation to be a member was long and very tiring, it should have been an interesting, but because it’s too long you lose your interest.

NYX Hotel Cancun: Second time there.

I thought the hotel. NYX was very clean. Very well, keep up the people were always trying to help you. Service was Excellent Staff was very well Front desk always willing to help. Food is excellent. The beach was very nice, very well kept up. Looking forward to going back next year.

Atelier Playa Mujeres: Wonderful experience!

Amazing resort overall. Very clean, all the indoor areas smelled amazing, service was fantastic and while we definitely tipped, there was no explicit expectation to tip as is common in most other resorts. The staff genuinely looked happy to be there and provided amazing service. Food was a highlight, it was definitely several steps above typical resort food and similiar to food at mid to high end restaurants. The rooms were amazing and so was the beach with basically no seaweed!

NYX Hotel Cancun: 2nd trip to NYX

Out of 5 stars, I give it 6! Fantastic service, the staff are excellent and always happy to help you. The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located, the food is always fresh and very good, we can't wait to go back!

Hotel Dos Playas Faranda: Amazing

What do you think about your stay? The facilities and the services were excellent. The beach had sea weed but the general view was great. The big pool was under construction so we made do with the smaller pools. If you love Mexican Food and drinks then it was fantastic.

Riu Palace Las Americas: Best Resort!

We had access to 4 different Riu resorts, the rooms were modern with excellent cooling and no humidity in the rooms. The hotel was spit clean. The beach was beautiful, private with nice sand and no weeds. Food was amazing and beverages were all high quality. The parties were incredible. All hotel staff were very friendly. I cannot name everyone who was helpful to us; but one person I name; big thanks to Carla who made our holiday more entertaining and pleasant. Planet Hollywood Cancun by Royalton: Beautiful resort-very limited food option.

Stayed here two weeks ago. Beautiful resort, terrible food. The buffet was pretty much empty every night and it had the same repetitive food. Would not recommend. We had a butler who basically just made us dinner reservations and nothing else. Do not upgrade to star class as It comes with no extra benefits
