Decameron La Marina: Decameron Le Marina, Guyabetos

We had been in Decameron Los cocos several tines. But this is a newer fecility. It is comparatively smaller than the previous one but newer. The view was amazing. Very clean rooms. The staff were fantastic and very courtious. We loved it.

Occidental Nuevo Vallarta: Love the size of this resort.

All grounds and gardens are beautifully maintained. Resort is very clean. Beachfront is beautiful and sandy. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice no food is at poolside which keeps birds and bugs away.

Canto Del Sol: one week at Canto Del Sol Puerto Vallarta

Older hotel but well maintained and very clean. We were booked in Villa section, which was very old and far from main area, no view. Second day we asked to change to main section, but had to pay extra for upgrade. We were happy with the room, and all went well. The staff at Canto Del Sol was excellent and couldn,t do enough for us. Dining areas were kept clean, and Covid protocols were in place. Food was tasty, and plenty of variety. Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Always a happy place

Although the resort shows signs of aging, the food, staff and cleanliness are at a high standard. A great place for families to unite and bask in the sun! The nearby village makes for a great walk and provides a look into the Mexican culture.

Staff consistently work to keep the resort refreshed. The Staff, Food, Accommodation, Well-Known Liquor Brands/ Pools, and Restaurants were wonderful. The majority of guests are Canadian with many from Alberta & Vancouver. Very friendly staff who work hard to provide an excellent vacation. Two other larger pools with swim-up bars. A-la-carte restaurants serve delicious food, in particular, the La Bamba & Almalfe & Mai-Tai. Arrive early morning to book your al-la-cartes. An abundance of lounges and beach umbrellas on the beach. An air mattress to place on lounges will provide comfort as some are saggy.

Occidental Nuevo Vallarta: Amazing resort

Love the hotel. The grounds are beautiful, The beach is great as is the pool. Enjoyed the buffet, the Tokyo and the Italian restaurants. The drinks were superb. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This was my 5th time at this hotel and can't wait to go back. I have been to many other resorts but this is my favorite.

Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta: Beautiful Resort

This resort is a beautiful resort. Tucked in close to the ocean it offers oceanside views, beaches, a variety of pools to lounge by & the restaurants are amazing & so many varieties to choose frome. The hotel staff were a pleasure to deal with. Always friendly, knowledgable & looking after your every need.

Riu Flamingos: I think we must have been here too many times - 3

This resort failed this time with the customer service at the meals. For breakfast I waited over 10 minutes to let the server know that I would like water. I also had to flag her down, she didn't come see me. Then another table asked her for something. After that she went to a table to clear the dishes and she was throwing the silverware on the plates and shoved a chair into the table with aggression. There were a couple of other incidents that made me less impressed with the resort. I am  [... read more]finding that the RIU chain serves the same food/desserts almost every day. They need more variety. Change things up at the salad bar. There was very little variety in the desserts. And it seemed they didn't make a large amount of the desserts that were good. I would get my main course. See a dessert that I wanted to take later and it was gone.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Very nice resort

The resort is somewhat dated, however the rooms are very clean ,looked after daily staff is very pleasant in dinning room or the four restaurants. The beach is clean with plenty of launches. On the top of a cliff is a round pool with heated water where you can observe vhales almost daily from.[at no cost to you]

Las Palmas by the Sea: Comfortable Resort!

Nice, budget resort. Clean and friendly. Meals were great along with a fabulous, Italian a la carte resto. Clean room with a nce hot shower and comfortable bed. ****************************************

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Aging resort

We have been to this resort 10 plus times and have enjoyed the overall experience as always. This year we noticed some issues, although minor, are not being looked after. We were in building #2 and found that in each staircase on several floors the lights were burnt out. This creates a safety concern when walking down a lighted hallway then entering a dark staircase where you cannot see the steps properly. The beach staff were very friendly but are now faced with worn out equipment such as boogi [... read more]e boards which seem well used and abused. They could probably buy at least another 12 boards and find that they would be used by guests on a daily basis, making it a better experience for those guests choosing to enjoy the beach facilities. Surfing is also very popular at this resort, but there does not seem to be enough surf boards available for those enthusiasts. A water hose tap at the beach activities center would not turn off properly, sometimes running for long periods continuously despite the fact that staff had requested a repair to the tap multiple times. We ate in the buffet for most of our meals at the resort. I found that many items were plentiful and food was abundant. I also found that many of the trays holding supposedly hot food were not able to keep the food hot. Many of our meals were cold. My partner actually got shocked when touching one of the food warming trays and I requested my food to be reheated on the grill multiple times. Staff was always friendly, so there must be a communications issue where staff are afraid to report issues as found. Management should want to get opinions from staff members more frequently. I know these items are minor and overall we still enjoy this resort for beach activities, weather and remoteness from downtown Puerto Vallarta.

Buenaventura Grand Hotel and Great Moments: Family Getaway

Great smaller resort in a fantastic location. Clean, tidy, amazing service and staff. Food was good - our 12 year old loved all the fish options and the pasta bar. Husband loved the morning omelet station. Staff went out of their way to also send our son a little birthday cake and card. If you have younger children or a really light sleeper - ask for an inside room that faces the ocean. We were on the street side and was busy with noise (cars, sirens) - not an issue for us. However, the staff was very accommodating at changing rooms (based on availability).

Mais, bien que le buffet était limité, on arrive quand même à trouver de quoi se satisfaire. Et effectivement, c'est très mexicain. Si vous aimez c'est parfait pour vous, sinon, c'est plus difficile. En ce qui concerne les chaises de piscine, ceci ne concerne pas seulement cet hôtel, mais je trouve qu'il est indécent de réserver une chaise pour toute la journée, alors qu'elle n'est occupée qu'une heure ou deux. Cette pratique généralisée devrait être interdite. Vous utilisez la chaise ou pas. Point à la ligne. Si vous ne l'utilisez pas, vous la laissez à quelqu'un qui s'en sert. Les chaises étaient réservées à partir de 6h00 le matin (parfois plus tôt). Très difficile d'en trouver. Heureusement que je suis une lève-tôt, j'ai pu faire mon choix, mais malgré tout, je trouve dommage de laisser des chaises vides si longtemps. Il y a beaucoup de mexicains qui viennent en vacances à l'hôtel et personnellement, je trouve que ça rend l'expérience de voyage et de dépaysement encore plus intéressante. Las Palmas by the Sea: You get what you pay for

It is an older resort but kept very clean. You can eat and drink all you want, there is always something good at the buffet. The people are very friendly but not a lot of English. Mostly Spanish. The beach is not nice. No swimming because it was way to rough to go in. Rocky so it’s hard on your feet. Not a resort for people who like to party at night. No shows, and in the rooms there are no fridge or coffee machines. If you like quiet and relaxing it’s fine . No music around the adult po [... read more]ol.

Canto Del Sol: Good Resort

Very close to airport (10 minutes) so a bonus . Resort grounds were well kept. Beds were comfortable , room bathroom was showing it’s age , leaky toilet tile cracked in shower , and shower quite discoloured and not very clean . Our balcony was very tiny with just one very old chair , but we didn’t plan on spending lots of time on it . Staff were pleasant . Pool area , dining area were clean. Main dining hall was very busy tried to avoid prime times to avoid lineups to get in .Food was l [... read more]ukewarm , but we mostly ate what was cooked fresh in front of us. Nightly Entertainment was good .

Crown Paradise Golden: Great Resort great stay!

Great Resort, staff friendly and helpful, Room was fabulous and clean. Good central location. The food was not great, Buffet was always acceptable with ample choices but the specialty restaurants needed attention, restaurant staff were good but the food needs to be improved with a more genuine effort for better attention to detail and preparation. The adult only theme was another enjoyable feature.

Great value for money. Great food with many options. Lots of activities day and night. Service was fair not great but like Canada they probably don't have enough staff. Liquor is crappy but that is due to price point it is not a high end resort. Awesome for families. So for couples I would prob choose elsewhere with better booze and service but for groups and families its great and awesome value

The hotel was under construction the ENTIRE time, loud as all hell. Also very understaffed, never had towels, ONLY 1 BAR. Even though they advertise having multiple. Will not be back! 1 S/O to Tony!!!

When we arrived in the room, we notice it had not been cleaned after the last guests. The sheets had several hairs, stains and crusted on human waste embedded on the sheets. There was a used razor blade on the floor of the room. No clean towels and the floor was full of sand. The front desk sent housekeeping to change our sheets but nothing else was cleaned in the room. The man at the front desk claimed the manager was unavailable to talk to us.
