Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Wonderful wonderful wonderful

Title says it all Great food, wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. Alexandro on the beach, towel person at the pool by Mexican restaurant great great. Beach boy and life guard in same area pleasure to meet. Waiters in buffet great. Buffet had amazing food - fresh, tasty and so much variety. Wonderful experience and we would recommend it to everyone. With all that said there are some exceptions. We would not go again to Japanese restaurant and Mexican was disappointment as well. Little Creperie has a great salad and chicken caeser sandwich and we went there twice for those. Third time it was so bad that we left most of it. Not sure what happened there...some momentary glitch perhaps, since the sandwich ordered by people who came after us looked good again. That one came after we complained to the friendly waiter and he talked to the kitchen staff. Speaks volumes about how they care that you have a good experience.We would go again to little creperie as it was that good those two times. Greeters at the restaurant doors could relax a bit and let people sit where they like at available tables. It feels that they were sometimes on “power trip”. It seems that lots of writing here went on “criticism” but it is with good intentions and with hopes to improve this almost perfect place. With all said we loved loved loved this place. Go there you won’t be disappointed, or any possible disappointment will be so minor that it won’t affect you or ruin your holiday. There is just that much great here!

It is a location that provided something for everyone With therefore pools it provided a location for everyone from being quiet to a rowdy party area There was lots of entertainment throughout the day that you could join in and The stage productions at night were current and fresh If the opportunity arose I’m sure I would go again

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Nice resort, excellent service and good times

We traveled the week of Nov 27th for a 7 nights stay. This was our 2nd stay at this resort. The resort is beautiful, clean and well kept. I was pleasantly surprised by the beach, the 1st time we traveled to this resort a few years ago we could not swim at all, too many waves, corals, rocks...This time the water was calmer and the ocean floor was sandy with lots of space to walk without getting hurt by corals and rocks, did not even have to wear water shoes! We purchased a special package "Club Imperial..." and to be honest, I did not see the advantages that this special package provided us with, expect for the direct transportation from and to the Cancun airport. All other, supposedly benefits, like separate check in, beach towels easy access, restaurant reservations, better rooms, were superfluous, seeing other friends that traveled with us (who arrived the day before and did not purchase this special package) got all the same benefits at no extra charge, furthermore we got the same type of rooms, no better, than them! The riviera side of the resort was closed due to renovation, it is actually going to be transformed into a luxury adult only area, looking forward to it! The service from all staff we interacted with was excellent!! We definitely recommend this resort and will return for sure.

Allegro Playacar: Beautiful area!

First time at an all inclusive and we weren't disappointed! Enjoyed the food, drinks, friendly staff, clean rooms but especially all the activities. Never pressured to join in but they were so much fun. Especially enjoyed beach volleyball and the pool foam party!

Great activities, food was good, beach amazing! Roofs did leak in heavy rains (always happened at night) but staff cleaned up next day. Clean rooms, friredly staff. Ask for the alcohol you want in drinks or you get house brand, bartenders very accomodating. We would return.

Catalonia Royal Tulum: Wonderful resort

The resort was well groomed, clean, staff very friendly and helpful. The only thing that I believe was lacking was the entertainment. There could have been better communication to the patrons, as to what was available on any given evening. There was a small board advertising what shows were happening in the evenings, but we were not aware of it until 3rd day into our vacation. Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Iberostar Rocks

I had a wonderful vacation at the Iberostar Paraiso Beach. The Grounds are immaculate. The beach is amazing. The people are amazing. The a-la-carte restaurants had the most delicious food. I wish that the buffet had more selection with chicken dishes and potatoes (sweet potato or otherwise). Just one note: Beach chairs were at times hard to find which was a little bit frustrating. Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Nice Resort

Resort is nice, very clean and well kept. Food at the buffet was good but it was pretty much the same thing for every meal, every day (with some meat exceptions). We are vegetarian so there were few choices. You can only eat grilled vegetables, fruit and rice so many times before you need some variety. Rooms were a  [... read more]good size, clean and well equipped. Pool is huge with a swim up bar. Beach is gorgeous, clean and the water was warm. Beach bar was typical all inclusive watered down drinks but a couple dollar tip fixed that. All employees were wonderful, some of the nicest people we have ever met. Resort is spread out which we loved. At night we were far enough away from the entertainment that we couldn`t hear it but it was only a short walk to it. Gym is very well equipped for a resort, we were happily surprised. The walk ways to the rooms are connected to the other resorts so you can wander through them if you like, was nice for our runs. Over all a great resort, kind of typical of an all inclusive but I would stay here again mainly for the beach and how spread out the resort was

Was a great resort food was good rooms were goid and view was beautiful only down fall is every thing is so far way lots of walking not recommended for seniors.Also there was a bunch of stores for shopping that we did not even realize was there until we were leaving someone needs to take people around to show them meaning this hotel is so large.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Excellent resort , exceeded our expectations

This resort was nestled in a jungle-like setting. There were interesting birds, monkeys, and other wildlife to observe. The resort was staffed with friendly, helpful and pleasant staff. The recently renovated room we stayed in was fresh , spacious, open and comfortable. Food was quite good and the a la cartes were tasty.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Great resort, very relaxing

This was our first time in Akumal, and you never know if the place you choose will be as good as it looks. Well, this place was wonderful! We first were "gifted" with a penthouse suite when we checked in - which was fabulous! The quiet, relaxing atmosphere was just what was needed - and the service was super! Especially Noemi, Marbella and Clemente, who gave excellent service on our end of the beach! Thank you!! Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Great resort and overall experience!

My husband and I just recently got back from our honeymoon at Paradisus La Perla. I can't rave enough about this resort. The service was amazing, the food was the best I've had at any resort I've ever been to, and the resort was incredibly clean and well maintained. We had a maintenance issue with our room and they were incredibly quick and amazing to get us switched into a better room. The only downside I would say is that I didn't feel there was a lot of night life activities (and the activiti [... read more]es they have weren't well advertised). I would 100% recommend this resort and we both said we want to go back!!

Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Paradisus is truly paradise

The resort was simply amazing! The food was extraordinary and the staff were exemplary. Royal service is worth every penny. The room was awesome and the adults only pool was warm like bath water. I would definitely recommend this resort.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Nature lover's paradise

This hotel is built in a beautiful natural setting in a jungle. There is lots to do without leaving the resort. Great beach to snorkel right from the shore (you need shoes) Big variety of restaurants and buffets, friendly service. Be prepared to walk a lot, the property is huge!

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Great resort.

Very Eco friendly. (Hence the name) No disposable plastic cups, No straws. Designated smoking areas. so no smoking around the pool,beach, restaurants and bars. We upgraded to the adult only area. Very quiet pool area. Adult only restaurants. Front desk very very slow both check in and check out.

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Annual Girls Trip 2017 Edition

First and foremost, I will start by saying that the resort is beautifully decorated and the staff are wonderful. (except for our Sunwing Rep Berniece who was exceptionally rude). My issue with this resort is that we paid extra for a"Platinum room". which mean that yes you are closer to the beach but who cares when the beach is so awful. You cannot swim without water shoes and /or tripping over massive rocks in the water. Just be aware that when you are booking "Platinum" at this resort, you will [... read more] not be getting the lovely beach beds or additional "Platinum only" lounge amenities that are available at other Princess resorts. The quiet pool needs some attention and there were MINIMUM 5 people with cut feet and injuries because it needs maintenance. The food is very good. The drinks are very good. My biggest issue is that when I book PLATINUM i expect it to be the best of the best on the resort. I did not feel that my comments were taken seriously by the front desk staff and the Sunwing "Rep" (she is not a good reflection on your customer service BTW Sunwing) and when I asked about upgrading to a double swim out, they wanted to charge me upwards of $500 CAD BUT then said that the resort was over booked and no rooms would be available until 2 days later. This was simply not true as we were told by several staff that the resort was quiet and many rooms on our floor were empty. Look, the resort is beautiful if you have never been to a true platinum quality resort, but when you have expectations of getting platinum amenities and get lipstick on a pig, its more than a little disappointing. I work hard for my vacations and I have come back feeling very disappointed. I will never stay on a Princess resort again and will likely never book with Sunwing again, even though I have travelled with both many times. Again, the property is nice, food is good, staff is amazing, but if you go on a hot vacation to enjoy the beach, this is not the place for you.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Great family vacation!

My husband and I and our 7 year old son spent the week of Nov 25th at the Paraiso Lindo and were very impressed by the grounds, beautifully landscaped. The room was clean but could use some updating. The best part for us about this resort was the Kids Club. Our son didn't spend a lot of time there because he mainly wanted to swim in the main pool with us but because they had a very detailed schedule of activities that were happening for specific age groups throughout the day, he could pick and c [... read more]hoose which activities he wanted to do. The kids also got to perform in a show each night if they wanted to. The staff at the kids club were great, so good with the kids. Buffet was ok, lots to eat if you're ok with being a little adventurous. I found it a little annoying that when we would go to the buffet, that the staff would be quite pushy in trying to get you to sit in their section. (they learn very quickly who the 'tippers' are) Overall, great resort and we would go back.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Let down

This hotel is very geared towards families and kids. I would not recommend this hotel for young couples or singles looking for fun activities. The beds are extremely hard and gave me a very sore back after 3 nights. The staff was unable to help me with the situation at all. The resort is very large and requires walking a lot, especially if your room is in the adults only section. I will not stay here again.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: A real gem!

Ocean Coral and Turquesa was beyond our expectations.Really liked this resort; cozy and easy walking,no trolleys! All buildings right next to ocean,beautiful beach and water deep enough to swim in, no sand bags like other resorts.Wished we had a few more days! Ten days would be great.Staff and food excellent.
