Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Should not be called Grand Bahia! Broken!

Everything was broken. No trolleys like at other Bahias. Food was good but the service was slow. Bartenders on the beach are cool but at times limited to mixes. The night club reeked of sewage. Do not go!

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Nice resort

Hotel grounds were lovely. Rooms clean maid great. Had to remind them to refill fridge but that was ok. Loved the resort. Beach ok water a bit cloudy Pool side lovely. But servic at bars very poor especially big lobby bar and pool side. Unless u tipped u might get a bit faster service

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Luxury Bahia Principe

The grounds were very well kept and the staff was amazingly helpful (well, most of them anyways). The food was not very good, unfortunately. One thing I was amazed with (and not in a good way) was that they barely served any Jamaican food. You are in Jamaica so I would expect some sort of their cuisine, at least. The rooms were very clean and spacious and we had a very nice view of the ocean. Bahia Principe Explore Coba: okay at best

Hi.....we were at this ressort from August 5 to to August the 12......in general everything was okay....we had issues with the pool and beach beds being reserved by 6 am......also for some strange reason most of the ressort had little or no air conditioning....never gave us a true answer why.....we believe it was to save money....they were at best keeping it at 25 cel.......the beaches in this area are average at best.......not sure I would recommend this hotel to a friend....the issues we had w [... read more]e major and made the stay quite uncomfortable....

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Some issues....

We had a 4 hour wait until our rooms were ready as plane landed before checking time. Found beach was great. But when the group of 20 of us returned fir room, 2 rooms still weren't ready . 2 more hours before room ready. Not fun. Food awesome and all other services great. Except initial check in. Wedding group enjoyed most of the hotel.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Wonderful resort

The grounds, restaurants, and rooms were very good! Amazing beach and staff all too willing to help. This was our second time at this complex, and we can't wait to go again. Would recommend this resort to friends and family. It's a amazing value, and overall very good resort.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Beautiful Resort

WE stayed at the GBP Sian Kaan July 4th 2014 for a week for our 40th anniversary. The resort was clean, food amazing, pools very warm i expect because they were shallow. Ocean was warm, staff incredibly helpful. Especially in the Buffet we enjoyed it so much we did not visit the specialty restaurants. The only draw back is the location away from the beach. My only complaint would be we mentioned it was our [... read more] 40th anniversary when we booked and thought something special would have been done to recognize it but nothing was done until we mentioned it to our waiter on the day of our anniversary. He went out of his way to bring us chocolates and came to our table and did a banana flambe for us which was wonderful. The staff in the buffet was exceptional. We have stayed at many resorts on many different islands but we have found in the GBP Buffet staff to be the best. We would have no problem returning to stay any where in this complex. Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: ok

Resort was bit too large. The food was ok, expected much better varieties. Disappointed when told we can only book one la a cart per week. One week was too long a stay as we were disappointed with the overall stay.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Excellent Resort

This was our first ever all-inclusive vacation and it didn't let us down. We had an amazing time. The food was very good, the room was clean and everyone was friendly. The only thing I wasn't too impressed was that people will come early to the beach to reserve seats and leave. This was a bit annoying as the seats remained unoccupied until late in the afternoon. I think the resort should do something about this so people who are actually at the beach can actually get seats.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Amazing Resort

My wife and kids went there in april of 2014 ,we realy did have good time, the kids love it there, they also like the the guy {Alex} who always saying i love my job he is realy funny, the food was great and the staff was amazing and realy friendly ,we all love it there we would go back tomorrow

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Absolutely beautiful

This adults-only resort was a dream vacation; the rooms were spotless; the pool was just what we needed; it was quiet; close to daytrips if we wanted to take one; good shopping; excellent food & presentation.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Fabulous Getaway!!!! Hidden paradise

LOVED the resort; My husband and I were looking for a relaxing, pamper yourself getaway and this place gave us all of that. The villas is where to stay! Not a place for huge nightly entertainment...Staff were great, service was top notch...definitely will be back

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: very disappointed

The staff was not very knowledgable, a few times we were sent to the wrong restaurant cause they didn't know the difference between the asian restaurant and the Japanese, one driver was outright rude with us when we asked. Hotel does not have ice dispenser, so we had to call room service and they took more than 45 minutes to bring it to us. Sometimes they'll leave enough water for three people and sometimes we had to go and get it ourselves. One day I saw an employee that was supposed to clean t [... read more]he washrooms close to the beach, writing his name down and the cleaning time on a paper posted on the wall, and then taking off without cleaning. The beach was full of seaweed, they had employes raking the seaweed but leaving it very close to the shore, big waves came and took it back to the sea again. I told the guy "if you rake it, you should pick it up" the guy looked at me and laughed on my face. The only helpful person, and I truly appreciate his help, was Richard Morales!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

This was easily one of our better holidays and we have had some really good ones at all inclusives around the Caribbean in te past. The rooms were spacious and clean, the swimming pool and beach well laid out and serviced, plenty of healthy and wholesome choices at the buffet restaurants, delectable fare at the a la cartes and to top it off excellent service from the staff, like Francine at reception, Barrington at the terrace lounge and Gerrick at the beach bar to name only a few.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: great vacation

We bought an all-inclusive package, and I was a little skeptical at first. But generally we had a great experience. Rooms are standard, if you put 2-5pesos on the bed, the cleaners are happier and you can tell from the way they arrange the room. Food was plenty, but don't wake up too late as the buffet closes before 11 I think. There's still small cafes for coffee and croissants. Didn't get a chance to try any excursions as we had a 2 year old with us, but I bet they are fun. Very relaxing, good [... read more] customer service, and worth it!

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Great Value and experience

Great beaches, friendly service, clean property and good food. The drinks were mostly just premixed slushy style which was a bit of a let down compared to a genuine pina colada with fresh pineapple blended together but for an all inclusive it was decent. The entertainment was only ok at night and they could use a beach service but we were very happy with our stay overall.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Fabulous resort!!!

We have been to this resort for three years in a row and plan on going back this year again :) The resort and staff are awesome and you can walk forever on the beach. We have always gone here mid-March and have enjoyed mainly hot weather!

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: The good the bad and the ugly!

The overall resort was beautiful, very clean. My biggest problem was the food everything was undercooked in the buffet. Also, there were many catches such as a la carte is only avail at the end of your vacay (they lie and say they are fully booked). After a certain time of day the staff are told to hide ketchup! ( I had to beg waiter to sneak some). Besides that it's a nice resort but a lot of kids! If you're looking for a private getaway this is not the place!
