Riu Bambu: Rui Bambu

I was so excited by going by pictures of this beautiful staircase that i was told was there. To find out the place has been totally remolded days looking for this staircase and no longer there. And even the people working there said they dont like the new model. The food was same everyday and brought out for days old and not fresh. The intertainment was horrible. And some staff were getting people to sign and lie on a petiton saykng there pink party and white party they had was good. But no one  [... read more]went and as we were sigiing this sheets the guy drank all our drinks. And we had to wait long time for them the first time. The plane going there should not even be in use. The seats were all broken and fall to the side. Window edge coverings where cracking. We got no complementy champaigne and we paid 100 for these seats. It was disgusting dirty. The swim up pool was to be adults only out of 5 pools and kids were destroying our drinks repeadily. Tooms were teo beds put together so we slept apart or fall between cracks. I would rate this 2+. I was not happy for 3000. Spent. And on he way hime flight again no specualty at all.

Riu Bambu: Very nice resort

The resort is laid out well and has lots of eating areas. Only thing that was bad was swim up bar close to the front. There is not supposed to be children in swim up bar area. Place was packed and kids splashing water in your drink. No signs up to tell no kids either. An announcement was made but no one listened. The entertainment at night was non existent and terrible lol. They had the entertainers going around getting people to sign petition saying it was good. Then they would take your drink  [... read more]and go to next table. Also when I went at the end of May is pretty much full of locals on vacation.

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: The best place to stay !!

What a wonderful place to stay!! Water park for the kids, lots of pools, daily events, very friendly staff , great food etc !! I would recommend this place to anyone ! We will be booking again in the near future !!

Bahia Principe Escape Samana: COUPLES RETREAT WITH LUXURY

This hotel is small only 149 rooms so if you want to reconnect decompress be treated and pampered this is a place for you. Food was great the hotel was beautiful. Recommend the junior suite ocean view.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Beautiful scenery

Rooms: clean. The view from the rooms with view on the ocean are breathtaking. Fantastic to hear the sound of the waves from your balcony. Staff : I can see that they are very hardworking people. The problem comes if you don't speak Spanish. Most staff ( buffet staff, resto à la carte ) do not speak English. Maybe because of this language barrier, it appeared to me that staff were not friendly. No smiles. No effort to communicate with tourists. I felt a bit ignored. I am used to the warmth of mexican people and people from Roatan. I was not expecting their not so friendly ways. Despite this, I would go back because of the landscape and mostly because you can snorkel right from the beach .

Grand Memories Punta Cana: Awesome Resort!

Grand Memories Punta Cana is a beautiful resort, with lovely gardens and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious, decorated tastefully and the cleaning staff do a great job to keep them clean and fresh. Favourite meals were at the Italian and Mexican a la cartes, as well as the breakfast buffet and the buffet near the beach. We had the chance to eat at the Royalton buffet as well, which is a more upscale restaurant with a little more variety than the Grand Memories buffet. Entertainment staff were aw [... read more]esome, trolley's were available always for transportation wherever needed, and the beach is spectacular. Only downsides were: if you chose not to have your room cleaned, you wouldn't get mini-fridge restocked, so one day I needed water bottles and when I called Room Service they said I could only have juice. Also, Room Service when called, did not pick up several times. Walkways are very slippery depending on type of shoes you wear. My daughter fell one evening and still has a bruised bottom (could have been a lot worse). Overall, a wonderful holiday.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: I loved it!

Barcelo Bavaro Palace exceded all my expectations. From the building itself, the quality and good taste of design, the service, the restaurants, beach etc. I was impressed and I am someone who has traveled quite a lot, so I can compare. I am already recommending this resort and I would certainly go back!

Riu Republica: Amazing resort!

The resort offerts tons of options for pools, restaurants and drinks! We had an amazing time and we received amazing service. We would definitely recommend it to our family and friends. The maids were great and the staff is very friendly and professional.

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Be Live Collection Marien - Puerto Plata

Resort was dead. Food was bad. They kept putting the same vegetables out at the buffet and would sprinkle cheese over top so you wouldn't notice (until it got you sick). Hotel staff was okay. Resort was clean. They opened the resort to locals on the Saturday. It got so busy there was line ups to get drinks, Very under staffed.

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Resort review

Very disappointed. Entire staff spoke only Spanish, communication very difficult. Buffet restaurant food was bland, meat extremely tough and again descriptions were in Spanish. Resort itself was fairly new and well maintained in addition room was as I had hoped for so no complaints about that. Sun wing representative at the resort was extremely rude and disinterested in giving assistance. Service in general depended on amount and quantity of tips. Overall I would not return, and have already started to share my experiences with my friends here in Toronto.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Nice resort

At first, it's very important to be accommodated in the renovated section of the resort. We only got transferred after complaining about the room in the old part of the resort. Pools are big and amazing. Entertainment team AMAZING. shout out to Nutella and Chocolate. Open buffet had great choices. Rooms cleaned twice a day. I enjoyed my coffee at the lobby every day. Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: sure value

Bahia Principe Aquamarine is a sure value resort. Grounds, beach, pool, food, room cleanest, activities... all around no complaints. People from the animation team are amazing and will keep you entertained during your stay.

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Best holiday ever

Blue Bay Villas Doradas: Very nice resort!

The hotel itself was nice and clean. The pools and night life were amazing. The best part were the staff. Most spoke very good English and always there to help. The beach was also nice and kept clean. We cant wait to go back!

Occidental Punta Cana: Great time!

We stayed at the Occidental Punta Cana for 10 days. Hotel is close to airpot- 20min. *Check in & out was so fast! We loved that *Room was huge, clean & great location. I recommend building 23,24,25 if you want closer to ocean. *Beach was BEAUTIFUL! always available lounge chairs- the only downfall is the people on the beach harassing you to take pictures with the parrots.monkeys or to buy something from them. if you say no they will let you be. *Grounds were spectacular & always well kep [... read more]t throughout the day. *Food I would say is a 3/5 .. there was always a variety just most times it became repetitive.. but we didn't complain- it was still above average! *Pools (3 of them)- lovely and always clean! 1 party pool and the other 2 were quiet. *Service- pretty good! anytime you needed something answered, help or whatever it may be someone was there to help guide you. *Vibe- this hotel caters mainly to latins. I could probably count the english speaking people at this resort- many tourists from columbia, chile, costa rica, peru and dominicans themselves (a few locals were there vacationing) Therefore the workers here don't speak the best of english if any at all. *This hotel caters mainly to couples & families. Not many singles if this is what you maybe looking for. Overall hubby & myself had a wonderful time!! We would rate this hotel a 8/10. Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: Amazing resort but

Hotel is amazing, people is great, food delicious, my only concern and we should be advise in this, is the traveling member ship they offered us. They made us waste our time with a “meeting” they said only 90 minutes, turn into 4 hours, while my kids were frying themselves in the sun without me to put sunscreen. Very pushy at this meeting, even though we told them since the beginning we were not interested. Travelers should be advise of this, so we know how to deal with this situation. Ocean Blue and Sand: Lovely resort and staff

if u stay in building 5, excellent rooms! Building 8, had very old and unclean rooms! A lot of activities, nice beach, beautiful pools and good food. The staff was extra friendly and very accommodating. Room service was a disaster and not at all available.

Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Fantasia

Hotel and amenities were clean and accessible. Lots to do. Food was good but service at buffet could have been much better but overall 4.5 star for sure! My children are 13 and 10. Water slides were not for them .. too old and too big but there was enough to do to keep them happy.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Started well, Ended bad

Rooms- free upgrade to building 1 right next to pool, very nice but bed bugs.. Food- great Entertainment - lacking Flight home - horrible, over head leaked the entire way on my back and no one did anything about it.
