Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Fun and Relax with a great view

It was an amazing resort. my only advice is, make the lower section of the entertainment hall a non smoking section. even though smoking is legal, there are children sitting in those areas during the nightly entertainment and also people who are non smokers and those allergic to smoke. there was a guest who was throwing her ashes at this little girl sitting on the walkway and kids were coughing from people smoking behind them. just a courtesy to guests really. there are non smoking section in th [... read more]e lobby bar, perhaps designating a non smoking section in the stage area would help for an evening of entertainment. above all else, I will visit again because the staff were amazing, friendly and always smiling.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: "Respect"

  3 Aug. 2014 Great place, Friendly staff, Good food, Great room, stayed in room 23605. This is a lovely room with a perfect view. Staying in the luxury is a must for this resort and worth it.what they say on the website about luxury is true!! Room was cleaned daily and well done. Great entertainment every night. Special thanks to Maria Benzene Resident mangar DPC and all her staff.They did a great job and made us feel welcome. Will go back! Filippahusam 

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: A high quality resort, will love to return

Overall, the location, facility, food and service of this resort is great! I did my research before I headed to this resort, so I had a good understanding of what to expect. This resort was still better than I expected, mostly because of the nice staff they have and their attention to details. In general, the service was great, just don't expect speedy service as DR people tends to work in their pace, which is understandable. Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: amazing week

the hotel was very clean and gardens were very beautiful. The food was good lots of choices. The entertainment was energetic. The beach was kept clean but the water was very murky.Service was very good. Service around the pool bar was not the best but other parts of the resort were great. Over all we give an excellent rating to the resort and would return.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Good but not a 5 star

Grounds are well maintained, food decent in a la carte rest. but not five star, buffet much better except for lobster night. The lobster was frozen before, then cooked as far as I'm concerned and it tasted like mush instead of meat. People are very nice and they really want to help you in any way they can. I gave our housekeeper $10 U.S. a day for 2 rooms (my adult children were with us) and they were spotless, everything was perfect in the room, she even put fresh pedals daily all over the room [... read more] and bathroom. Linens were sometimes missing, but it's the hotel's fault not the maid's. Pool is like bacterial soup, very hot. Not pleasant at all to swim in. The beach is clean, the older butler on the beach in Ambar section very professional, the younger ones don't really take their job seriously. No problem getting a chair in private Ambar section at any time of the day. Your better off swimming in the ocean instead of the pool. Change your towels before 5 p.m. or you might not get any until the next day. All my family became sick after eating in Don Pablo restaurant on July 09,2014. Take Dukoral oral vaccine 3 weeks before leaving. Take cab from and to airport instead of bus and beat the crowd, it only cost $40 U.S. (up to 4 people) and it's much quicker. Best rooms are 67308,67208,67301,67201. Nice and quiet near the beach. 64308,64301,64208,67201 is good for the people who like the pool crowd. I was in 67308 in Oct. 2013, 64211 in May 2014 ( It's also a pretty good room) and 64202 and 64206 in July 2014. (also pretty good rooms)

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful Resort!

Overall, the resort was awesome, a couple knocks against it would be the restaurants, you almost need to book before you go because there were never any openings. Buffets were good, but get old quick. Not to sound cheap, but the tipping got a little out of hand, we paid good money to go to a 5-star resort, I'd spend a little more and go to a Sandals and likely end up spending the same amount of money.

needs updates mostly in rooms ac not working fan working but no cool air low or no refrigerant jacouzi tub not working bathroom had mold or mildew around tub sreen door to outside deck very hard to open and lock very poor food selection on room service menu . food in most restaurant was excellent grounds pools restaurants are very well kept

We visited this vist with our 2 kids. The overall ambiance of this resort is beautiful. Food was good. Staff were nice. Pools were great.Love the different food themes every night and the nightly entertainment were awesome! Overall, we had a great vacation and will definitly return. Things that could have been better, the guest services staff who were booking for the la carte restaurant, could not recommend any of the restaurant. This happened more than a few times.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Beautiful, friendly resort!

The entire resort is beautiful and clean. The food was delicious and varied. The staff were friendly, helpful and fun. When we returned to our room each day there was a sweet surprise of flowers or chocolate. The resort made a very special occasion for Valentines with special food and decorations. The water and beach are gorgeous and there was no problem getting a shady spot. I would have liked to eaten at the beach grill more often but the selection was limited. Super nice stay.

We had the time of our life at this resort! Everything was perfect! We enjoyed the food, cleanliness of the room, as well as the entire hotel. The grounds were clean and well kept. The staff was friendly in all areas of service! We will go back!!!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Clean, Quiet, and Gorgeous

Best resort I been to so far. I am looking forward to going back again this year. Property - New, clean, and absolutely stunning. Staff - Everyone was friendly (Except only two females at reception) Golf - It says free (You have to pay for an expensive cart = Catch) Beach - Gorgeous (You have to travel a few minutes by shuttle. The shuttles run every 5-15 minutes if that.) There are activities on the beach and a decent location for snorkeling. Entertainment - They have excellent entertainers tha [... read more]t perform at the hotel. Most of the resort shuts down around 11. The other resorts within the chain has a night club and a casino. FOOD - Impressed - Everything and anything - Access to All the other resorts and what they have to offer. The a la cart are pretty good as well. You must try the two located within Sian Ka'an. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing yet fun time this is the place for you.

I absolutely loved this resort! Hotel, pool, ocean and resort grounds were all awesome the food was great! If I had to complain about something it would say there could be alittle more food options at the night time burger joint they only have hotdogs and hamburgers.

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Relaxing place

Very nice relaxing resort with really beautifull U shaped beach with pier and near an island. Beach has palm trees so there is no need to fight for a bit of shade. Rooms are very good, so is food. Near the hotel, just few mitutes drive by the inexpensive taxi, there are well maintened, must see caves. There is no snorkelling because of murky water, possibly due to a nearby river, but you can book the snorkelling trips to famous loctions.

The overall impression was great!! The staff were super friendly, the hotel was impeccably clean and our room was big and spacious. The beach was really nice I just wish it was bigger. I liked the pool entertainment and music. It always made for a great afternoon.

absolutely no fault to be found. This is our 4th Bahia stay in 5 years. best value, cleanest, great food and entertainment. Evening cocktails are served in glass not plastic. How wonderful.! We have recommended this chain to everyone.

This resort is very nice. It has all the main qualities you look for in a break from work and the cold. The grounds are very beautiful and well maintained. the beach is gorgeous with clean and warm water to swim in. the rooms are nice with great views and very clean. The food is amazing and the buffet has all you need with first rate service and variety. The restauants are great and especially the Japanese one. Though the staff were friendly they were indifferent to the needs of guests. Towels and face clothes were limited or none ecistant. Great jerk chicken at the jerk chicken bar but every time we went there we had to wait for either cutlery or plates or both. The pool didn't have steps into it unless you belonged to the privileged club, not great for someone with limited mobility. Cayo Levantado Resort: Amazing Resort

Beautiful grounds and gardens. Lovely and spacious rooms and bathrooms. Very nice beaches with lots of shade if necessary. Nice swimming pools. Lots of chairs around pools and beach. Very good service. Delicious food and lots of choices. Spotlessly clean.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great Adult Only Resort

Quiet, clean and friendly. The rooms were very modern and clean. Well kept grounds with very friendly staff. With multiple pools there is one for whatever you want to do. Swim and splash. Sit waist deep and read. The food in the main buffet was amazing. Never needed to worry about finding something to eat. Great variety. The dessert bar was heavenly and the fresh fruit was tasty. Great place to go if you are just looking to relax.

The grounds, rooms, dining facilities were all exceptional. The Italian a la carte, was the best! must try the coffee cart! We had the upgrade bracelet, so the a la cartes wee booked for us, no line ups, however we die change the times.
