Riu Emerald Bay: Exceellent

Can't say enough good things about this amazing resort. The weather was windy and raining but the staff made the best of it with games and 'little'shows. The food was good, New Years Eve dinner was beyond reproach and the champagne just kept on flowing!!

Dreams Huatulco: Best all-inclusive Vacation!

Although this Dreams property is getting a little dated, it is super clean, the staff works 100%, and are very friendly, efficient and helpful. Drinks were great tasting as well as the food. The best part were the 3 infinity pools overlooking the gorgeous beach!! Water was a clear emerald colour, golden sand and minimal waves. The water activities were great, spa was sublime, and the overall experience was fantastic. We felt safe, and found the location to be perfect. Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Very Disappointing

I will never go back to the Royalton Rivera Cancun Hideway ! The staff in the hotel is not friendly or helpful! The cleaning staff is very nice and the rooms are very clean and the property! They staff in the Royalton only cares about selling you shares for you to return to the diamond club and only if you stay in the diamond club you get exceptional service other wise no one cares about your needs or complaints! Riu Flamingos: Wonderful place !

Our 3rd Rui we had the pleasure of staying at.. great bang for your buck ! We stayed 2wks and had absolutely no complaints! Clean rooms, clean public bathrooms, clean restaurants.Would recommend to couples & to a family.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Great resort and amazing staff

Great hotel with lots to do and wide selection of restaurants to choose from. Location is within 30 minutes from the cancun airport which is convenient. The beach was crowded but very nice and the pools were amazing definitely the best of the various resorts we’ve visited. The resort staff was incredible especially the entertainment team who always had lots going and and did a great job interacting with people. The shows were top notch especially the New Year’s Eve show and after party.  [... read more] The resort is large but never felt busy (except the beach) even though it apparently full. Only 2 areas for improvement were the rooms are a little dated and not as nice as other places we’ve been and the the Paraiso beach doesn’t give you access to other resorts for drinks and food (we didn’t know this going there but likely this was our fault for not reading up on the resort because everyone else seemed to understand and accept this). This wasn’t a major issue since there was lots to do at our resort but if your thinking to venture over to the lindo or maya resort this may be something to consider. Would definitely return to to this hotel.

Las Palmas by the Sea: Was a great stay

We had a great time from start to finish the flight there and back was great. The stay and hotel no complaints. Weather was not the greatest but no control over that . The staff were friendly courtius and professional. Not bad food the ala cart was great I would recommend this hotel and certainly Air Transat to people

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Lovey, clean resort!

This hotel is beautifully kept, colourful. Service is great. The pools, bars and restaurants near block 5 seem to be the least busy. We travelled over the busy New Years week and never had to wait for a table, a chair, or a drink. We dined at three specialty restaurants and the food was ok. Beds are hard. Hard to get a hot shower.... Hallways and noise from other rooms is kind of loud. The area of Bucerias it is in is fantastic. TRS Coral: Modern, clean and fabulous!

TRS Coral was a truly amazing holiday for my partner and I. Everything was so modern and fresh- every space sparkling clean. I’ve never been to a resort that has literally ticked every box for my partner and I. Well worth the price!

Barcelo Maya Riviera: Exceptional Resort !

We loved the resort ! It was always clean! Everyone at the resort were very friendly and helpful! The food was amazing! Buffet had so much selection each day , you can’t get bored of the food. The restaurants were flavourful as well and the chefs were accommodating which was lovely . The beach was beautiful ! Some parts did need water shoes but overall it was perfect . I give this resort a 10/10 we both have nothing negative to say about any of it. The theatre always had something on and on certain days they also provided buffet and it was really good and a lot of variety ! We have already discussed going back ASAP because we were beyond happy with everything this resort had to offer ! It being adult only was a plus !!

Barcelo Maya Palace: Large kid friendly resort

The good: Food is average for the price. Great selection but typical resort quality, not much taste. Plenty of beef, chicken, fish, shrimp etc.. Lot's of space, chairs, activities for kids. Beach is wide, sandy, and shallow and no seaweed problems during my stay. The bad: Service is slightly below average for Mexico. Most staff really just can't be bothered. Room was often not made up, missing towels, etc.. No "towel art". Calling for service was always "we'll send someone" who never sh [... read more]owed up. Reception often does not answer the phone. They have obviously been told that they should deal with problems by agreeing with anything the guest says and then promptly ignoring it. Rooms are typical 3* beach resort. Clean but not impressive. Because it is a good resort for kids there are a lot of them and the rooms have terrible sound proofing. There is a lot of screaming and running. Entertainment at the Palace is poor, high school production quality, but there is better available at one of the other resorts. You have to pay (a lot) for wifi unless you are "Premium Level". Decent quality alcohol but wine is usual cheap resort stuff.

Paradisus Playa del Carmen: Excellent resort

WE travelled in many different all inclusive, 5 stars.Our expérience at Paradisus Esmeralda Satisfied all of our expectations.We were very satisfied with all aspect of the resort.Amazing service, very professional and pleasant staff. Food and service at all restaurants and buffet excellent Nothing negative to say. Rooms very clean .

Grand Sunset Princess: Amazing Christmas Holiday

The resort put on a fantastic New Year’s Eve party for all ages including food and entertainment. The resort was back to normal by morning. Impressive! The entire week was great from food to beach.

Grand Sunset Princess: Perfect Beach

The resort was kept immaculately clean. The food was great especially in the a la cartel restaurants or the paid restaurants. Staff were always courteous and friendly. Shuttle service available on resort.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Fabulous vacation

We were a group of 11. 2 families. The grounds were stunning. Food was average and the rooms were clean and spacious but you can hear everything in the room next door. The beach was spectacular, calm and warm. Fish swimming in the ocean at our feet. We were able to feed them standing in the ocean. MANY activities for all ages. I would definitely return to this resort

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Ok resort but beach isn’t nice

This is a very large and accommodating resort. 2 big pools. Depending on which building you are in, it’s a long walk to beach and main pool. The most disappointing aspect of this resort is it’s on a man made lagoon that has very shallow mud beach. It’s not the Playa del Carmen beach you imagine. And you can’t swim far as it’s protected by barriers. Also the food was pretty mediocre as was the main bar that’s not open air, and had low ceiling and fluorescent lighting. But there is no quiet shady area to nap or hang by pool - always music on from 9 am. So if you want a more relaxed environment with a nice beach, would look elsewhere. Lots of activists for kids and by the pool.

Armony Marival Resort and Spa Punta de Mita: Beautiful resort and location

This is truly 5 stars resort in terms of accommodation, food and service. Spectacular beach. It was open only few months ago. They do not use any plastic, like cups, straws etc. Spacious, clean rooms, there is few restaurants but we only used buffet as we liked the good selection, also it was opened almost all day. The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Great family resort

Our stay was great. Great rooms (2 bedroom suites) and the main pool right on the beach was a great feature. Many pools and many restaurants. The buffet is very small and not a great choice, BUT the number of restaurant (and the quality) definitely makes up for it. Especially for the French restaurant (with breakfast option too). Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Great resort for families with a very good Kids club.

Hilton Vallarta Riviera Resort: bad resort

the hotel is beautiful the view is unbelievable The buffet was something to be desired they ran out of food all the time and did not have very many choices or enough staff. One night I had the fish it was so hard I could not cut it with a steak knife. At breakfast they were always running out of bacon and the waffle station had no staff, so I made my own stuff. The coffee and cappuccino machine were always empty I had to pay for my coffee every day but once at the Starbucks. When we arrived w [... read more]e asked about all the shelve of booze what was included in our price the bartender told us all three shelves we could choice from just not the top but every time we ordered a drink and asked for Absolute or Smirnoff Vodka the server would bring us bottom shelve stuff that tasted horrible. The drinks were inconsistent. The restaurants and bars were very hard to find within the hotel and never enough bartenders or servers. The food was not great in any of them. The steak house wasn’t open at all. When I asked for change from one of the waiters, he helped him self to a 50-peso tip even though we were not eating at the place I asked for change from. At the pool I had to get up at 6 am to get a chair at the pool there where people out there at like 5 am with flashlights to get a spot to sit. At the pool restaurant I sat there waiting to be served for over 20 min and then got up and left. When we did finally eat there the burgers where premade in the bun, so the bun was stuck to the meat and they had little packets of catchup that you could never find enough to put on your burger and fries where under cooked.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Great location

The location was great. Yes took awhile to get there from the airport but well worth it. Small resort offers a Big Bang for your buck. Snorkeling amazing!! Beach prestine! Food good with lots of variety. Rooms very clean
