Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: completely satisfied!

Overall beautiful resort, great beach, rooms were awesome, staff and restaurants first class. Very well maintained and spotless. Really nothing negative to say. Would definitely stay here again. well located close to airport and attractions. Staff were very friendly and attentive to everything. Great entertainment in the evenings as well.

Riu Tequila: Very nice resort

Great beach area with a few snorkeling spots 20 minutes beach walk. Great food but small pool, rooms clean and spacious. Resort is located very close to 5th avenue shopping area in Playa del Carmen. There is a shopping mall right beside the resort, please do not go there. Is the biggest scam I ever seen, they literally charge you 30 to 50 times the value of the goods. Instead go visit Centro Maya in Playa del Carmen. I need to go there to buy basic stuff as Sunwing Airline mishandle one of  [... read more]my suitcase, which came after three days at the resort. Do not even consider Sunwing Airlines, they provide horrible service.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Great Resort

This was our second visit to Blue Bay and we were happy with our stay there. The staff are great, the food is great and although we didn't’ have as much choice in the food this time, we still had plenty to eat. We think this may have been due to the pool snack bar being closed for repair. This is a nice clean resort if you’re not fussy on going in the ocean. The beach is nice lots of chairs available but the ocean is rocky and weedy and full of black silt. Even with water shoes, we found it  [... read more]difficult to go in the water because it was so murky. There is a huge pool steps away from the beach with lots of activities throughout the day. There is also a quieter adult pool a little farther back which we enjoyed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will likely go back.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Amazing resort

This place was absolutely beautiful and amazing one of the best trips we ever did cant wait to return The food was amazing the room was to die for ...so enjoyed this place so so much not enough words to say how beautiful it was

Ocean Maya Royale: Good vacation!

This was the first time we had been to mexico and had a pretty good time. Food was great, staff were very friendly. We would highly recommend the Italian and japanese steak house for dinner! Rooms were fairly clean other than the floors being a bit dirty but to be expected when you are at the beach. The shows were great but nightlife is a bit lacking at this resort. We had no issues during our stay!

Platinum Yucatan Princess: A Great Holliday

We thought this was the best resort we have been to . The rooms were very clean and well decorated . The food was first class. The service was fantastic . They did everything they could to help us enjoy our stay . We were alliwed to check in right away . They sent us champagne the first night . We loved the beach . We loved the restaurants . We also had a special dinner in their Skylights restaurant . It cost us extra that night but it was our choice . Great holliday .

Our room at the Esmeralda was a great room and we were perfectly satisfied with the location. It is a great spot for families. We can only say positive things about this resort. We will definitly go here again and we highly recommend this resort to anyone and everyone.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: not bad

Resort was nice! Rooms were nice! Only problem was check in. It was unorganized and took way too long. Also had to pay for wifi because the one in the lobby don't work. Food was good at the a la cartes. The staff are very friendly. Overall I would recommend the grand bahia principe coba. I've stayed at a lot of places and none was as good as this. And If you are bringing children this is a perfect resort it's clean and they were very friendly to my children.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Love this resort!

Great dining options, food was always delicious and fresh with lots of healthy options and offered Mexican cuisine at all buffets. The rooms are wonderful! Loved the jacuzzi on the balcony. Awesome views of the ocean. Well maintained grounds, beautiful beach. Good drinks, clean pool. Would love to return someday!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Good not Great Resort

The room was nice, the pool was good and the drinks even better. But the overall service was not the best except for the cleaning lady for the room and some of the restaurant servers. I also had a bad experience with one of the internal transports as I was almost thrown off. The driver started pulling off before I got seated. Also my family felt that we were treated poorly in some areas because of the colour of our skin.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great Food!!

My husband and I really enjoyed this resort. The staff were very friendly. We went to an a la cart restaurant and Jose from mashua welcomed us back another night for food tasting!! What an amazing experience! Great food and great people.

Iberostar Waves Quetzal: Beautiful Resort

I visited Iberostart Quetzal with my boyfriend in early September for 1 week. El Dorado Royale: Amazing Resort - Perfect for Couples!!

This was our second trip back - and won't be our last! We absolutely love everything about the El Dorado! Food: Is amazing and not any of your typical line-up buffet style, you are seated with a menu, and the quality and service is excellent! They also have 24 hour room service which is also - amazing! They also helped to find out about our return transportation for us. We were celebrating our Anniversary and they included a free romantic beach dinner, a HUGE breakfast in bed, along with all kinds of other things, including sparkling wine and flowers brought to the room (on a few occasions!!) Overall, the resort is just beautiful - it is large (you can use the restaurants etc at the adjoining hotel) but feels small and all the staff are so friendly. The only 'slightly' negative would be that the beach is not the greatest, however it is still not bad, and there are plenty of pools all over the resort that you would never be far away from water!

Sandos Playacar Beach Resort: Wonderful staff!

The hotel itself is lovely, no different from other resorts we have stayed at. The beach is lovely and the entertainment was good. The best part for us was the friendly staff. They really made the difference. We went with our almost one year old son and the staff was so great with him.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Five star

The rooms were large and very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Large soak hot tub in the bathroom. Separate toilet and shower. Bartenders mixed th drinks as requested. Awesome big pool.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Best resort experience we have ever enjoyed

Akumal Bay Beach & Wellness Resort was the perfect resort for our wedding and the 70 guests we had join us. We prefer smaller resorts and at 310 rooms, with all rooms ocean-facing, this was perfect. You could walk from any room to the water's edge in less than 2 minutes! The staff were amazing - especially Wilbert at the main bar, Liliana at the sushi bar, Marta and Patricia at the spa. Special recognition is needed for on-site photographer Conrado who captured the beauty of the surroundings [... read more] and our wedding celebration beautifully. The food was great, the bar service top notch, and the rooms were beautifully maintained and clean. Being able to walk into the water right in front of your resort and see sea turtles, sting rays and a variety of marine fish and coral was awesome. We will definitely be returning soon.

the Hotel was beautifull, clean, with very friendly and professional staff. the food was the best we ever had at an all inclusive. the beach was kept nice and clean and the turtle hatching experience was a bonus. the view and the proximity to the water from our room was very good. the only complaint might be the quality of the bar mix. mostly powdered fruit mixes. we would rate the resort an 8 out of 10.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Beautiful resort good beach

This resort has a lot going for it. The buildings and grounds are immaculately kept. Wherever your room is, it's a very short walk to the beach. Food was good and staff were eager to please. It's also a sea turtle reserve. The aquatic life was amazing, We swam with turtles and rays , youcould walk into the water and feed the angel fish,they would eat bread from your hand , hundreds at a time. This was our first time in Mexico and felt totally safe .We will be back to this resort.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: My review

The resort was amazing with very friendly staff. I enjoyed my time there. The only change that I feel needs to be done is the drinks ! Not very good at all watered down alcohol and mixed drinks were very poor tasting almost like diet. I had to buy mix off resort to enjoy !

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Azul Fives never disappoints!!

This is an amazing resort and the staff are flawless. Second time at Azul Fives and we are heading back for two weeks in Feb/18. We would recommend this resort to anyone of any age. Lots of pools and they are continually expanding.
