Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: The resort property is huge - multiple hotels

The hotel was quite beautiful, well kept and clean. The grounds were imaculate. The service was fantastic and very personal. Really enjoyed all the restaurants. The resort was much larger than I like however, the international travelers it attracted were very interesting. Funny how you can communicate with someone when you don't speak each other's language.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: elegant but crowded

Hotel was clean, had many wild cats on it though. The resort is extreamly large and crowded even in the summer months. However, very elegant. We were part of the VIP, free internet, pretty weel the only perk.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Amazing Employees!!!!

Excellent value for the price....and the best service you could get anywhere. Rooms are average but very clean. The resort grounds are absolutely beautiful, the food is great and the "strip" provides a great place to party without disturbing those that want to rest. The beach is great for walking and the service is the best. The staff are amazing, even taking us to their homes to show us the Dominican life.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Nice resort

Example: What did you think about  this hotel? (grounds, public areas, rooms, dining, features, etc.) Grounds are kept nice, food and specialy grill on the beach is outstanding. Service was good however could be better.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: great resort

Hotel is very clean, excellent drinks, food. Rooms nice and clean. Have to take trolley to beach. Private area for adults only. I never found it an issue. Always ride available. I never golfed so cannot rate it. I am a bahia principe fan and have been to slot of the resorts. Can never go wrong.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Very Nice Experience

This is our fist time in Mexico but definitely not our last time. The staff in this resort are very helpful and friendly. Our son got sick during our stay but with their help and quick response my son was able to get to the doctor fast enough. The food was great with lots of varieties. Would like to go back sometime in the future.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Not that great as expected !!!

I came to Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro with my family as two couples together on December 6, 2013 for two weeks with big hope to relax and rest. Before coming I emailed hotel with request to be located as close as possible to the beach. Unfortunately I was located in Premium Club farthest away from the beach. Very unhappy I tried immediately change the room but I have to waste three days of my vacation to be finally moved to another villa. We love Bahia Principe hotels but not this one . Service,  [... read more]beside reception, and rooms are very good, we can not complain. This hotel is located on beautiful grounds but is too big to compare to the small size of the beach. It is very inconvenient to"hunt" every single day for sun lounger and to be squeezed like sardines on the beach. Very similar situation was with the pools, not enough space for everybody not to mention about lack of beach towels. Trams are very smelly giving you headache, should be changed to electrical .. For us struggling with small things when you are on vacation does make any sense. Was absolutely impossible to relax in this hotel!!! In Punta Cana ,better go to Riu Hotels.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: good

Nice resort, but not a 5 stars. The can try to improve on service, I did not find the managers or the staff very freindly. One morning my husband was not feeling well so I went to buffet and asked the manager if i can take some breakfast for my husband, he told me that is not possible I can hide some bread in napkin and take but that is about it. The resort should start by training their managers for customer service so they can teach the staff.

“Our Mexican home away from home” Stayed November 14th to 25th (Celebrated both our 33rd wedding anniversary & my birthday) My husband and I stayed here on our very first all inclusive vacation back in 2005. This past trip was our 9th GBP vacation and we will be booking #10 next spring. We have also been to the GBP Puerto Plata location once, and Punta Cana's Luxury Ambar four times. What we know for sure is this hotel chain knows how to treat their repeat guests so well that they want to [... read more] return to "their home away from home". We are still very impressed with the whole layout and beauty of the hotel, rooms are clean and they have all the basics things you would expect. There is a large selection of both the buffet food, and also all the a la carte choices. We like that so many activities are available, and that the nightly shows are so enjoyable. The staff is always courteous, and the service is always quick. The only cons that we could come up with is that compared to 10 years ago the hotel has really cut back on the selection of toiletries you used to get in the optional upgrade "Golden Section" rooms that are located near the quiet pool that we always book, you can no longer have wine or cava (sparkling white wine) at any of the beach bars, and as of this year you can no longer prebook your a la carte restaurant preferences in advance via e-mail. Some vacationers feel that the hotel is too far from the airport and I do get that a 90 minute transfer is longer compared to hotels located closer to the airport, though what you learn after visiting just once is that there are so many things nearby to do that it's really an excellent location. We take the local collectivo and do things on our own rather than paying a higher cost of booking a tour which gives us the freedom to do things on our own time schedule which we much prefer. Even if you never leave the hotel there are many things to do. Here are some suggestions for first time guests: - Sign out a bicycle and ride around the resort - Climb up the lookout tower (take a selfie just for fun) - Play a game of ping pong, or pool - Go see the free short dolphin show (ask for the show time) - Treat yourself to the Mexican Fiesta show (additional charge) - Lay in a hammock (place your beach towel done first) - Get on a tram just to ride around and see more of the hotel layout. - check out a different pool just for a change of scenery and different ambiance. - play water volleyball (consult activity schedule for the time) - sign out snorkel equipment (or just stand in the ocean around the pier and the fish swim all around you,) - follow the shoreline going south and you will come to a bay that is very nice for photos and you can cool off in the water. (must wear shoes and bring water) - sip a drink and "people watch" - talk to other guests they may have some suggestions or helpful tips. The staff really are fantastic and very hardworking. We highly recommend and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

What a wonderful resort. I would definitely bring my family back again.Love the beach side eating. The pools were great, beachside ones were a little to loud for me , but the upper ones were great, loved having the option.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great resort

Everything was great except our room was very dank and mouldy smelling. Unable to run the ac as the mouldy smell actually cause a flare up of my asthma. The grounds are very large but the shuttle was wonderful. Like the ability to go to all the hotels.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Wonderful wonderful !

My husband and I enjoyed every square inch of this resort ! We enjoyed ALL the staff. Food , beach , pools and service A++++. The jerk chick beach restaurant was the best we are there almost twice a day. Most beautiful area to enjoy Jamaica's food , ocean and people. We loved everything !

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: First Time in Dominican

April 2013, 4 of us stay at the Gran Bahia Principe in La Romana. Rooms were clean, well furnished and quite nice by North American standards. Bathroom was modern and worked well. The pool was lovely and everyone was very friendly. The restaurants provided excellent food. The beach is nice but the water is not clear. So if you intend to snorkel in clear water, you will have to do an excursion. Did several excursions....best one was Catamaran cruise/snokelling to Catalina Island with a few stops [... read more] along the way. Catamaran trip to Saona Island was OK, but catamaran itself was not near as nice as our first excursion. If you do the go-carting excursion, be prepared to have food/toys etc to give to children in villages...we were not prepared for this and it was a bit upsetting to not have had enough for all of them (about 20 kids). The tour of the tobacco plantation was really good too. We learned quite a bit. Overall, we would return to this resort as it was very good value for the money. Just be prepared to travel a bit for excursions and crystal clear waters.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: incredible resort

Travelled with wife and Adult son and his girlfriend. Can't say enough positive things about this resort. The staff were amazing. Extremely happy and friendly (especially Eddie in the buffet and Domenedes in the A la cartes, or tequila boom boom as we called him). Would recommend to anyone and are already planning our next trip in the spring. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about this resort.

We had a family vacation , with our adult children , will always remember the great time , thanks Bahia , for helping us make memories . The grounds were always clean , the staff went beyond , the only complaint I would have is the sand on beach , but the Bahia couldn't do anything about the grain of the sand , thanks again Bahia

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Amazing Resort!!!

The resort is wonderful!! We've been there twice and plan on going back. The grounds are beautiful and impeccably clean as are the beach and pools. The food will please everyone especially the a la carte restaurants. Don Pablo and Mikado are our favourites.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: This was Great!!!

We had a WONDERFUL time!!! First of all, the food was excellent. The staff were always there when you needed them and very friendly!!! They could use another pool, no where to sit, but there was always the beach.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Fun Times in Jamaica-Royal Golden Club

Food and drinks were amazing. People are very friendly and helpful. Grounds and pool very clean. Whirlpool in room didn't work and no remote for TV (asked 3 times, never got one). A la cartes were pre-booked and booked too late.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Very Solid Resort

Enjoyed the hotels expansive grounds, nice food, reasonable service. Beach sand quality isn't as nice as you'd hope and the hotel populace is largely centered around the impressive pool, however you won't find yourself longing for the sea!

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: So relaxing

The hotel was great and we really enjoyed the pool and games we played every day. We will be going back again and bring our friends back with us. Can't wait to try some new dishes next time around be more adventurous
