Riu Montego Bay: Amazing experience

Loved the customer service at this resort. Good food and fun parties ! I would definitely recommend this resort to my friends. Looking forward to coming back again. 10/10 ! Great beaches and pools. Fun time

Ocean Eden Bay: Amazing & accommodating hotel

My sister has severe food limitations and the resort was amazing. The chefs checked with her at each restaurant even at the buffet the chef took her around to point out safe foods. The staff was great and the beach was fantastic. My third time to Ocean Eden Bay and it didn’t disappoint.

Riu Negril: Great Resort!

Beach was wonderful, awesome food and great entertainment at night! Drinks were always flowing! The staff are super nice and really accommodating! My boyfriend and I would definitely go back some day!

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Dated and showing it!

The resort looks nice outside with the pools and trees and nice landscaping, but rooms are showing signs of needing updating, public bathrooms often have something not working- hand dryer, toilets etc., and we had no air conditioning in our rooms for 4 days and 3 nights!! Apparently, some guests had no water either. Also, their restaurant reservation system is ridiculous! They post one week's availability at a time and if you don't catch it right when they post it, all the spots are filled. The [... read more]ir app that you're supposed to use is not user friendly and doesn't have all the info you need on it. We were on the adult side, and they didn't do a very good job of keeping kids out of our area or pool. Food was generally good but buffet often cold or out of stuff. Food at the al a cartes was hit and miss. Having said all that, the service staff are fantastic! Very friendly and helpful. Terreshia, Ladonna (Lisa) and Latoya are great. Lobby bar staff and al a carte staff are great as well. This resort needs to make some serious changes. Maybe the general manager or whomever makes the decisions needs to change. I've been there twice now and will never go back.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Great resort

Had everything our family of four generations (toddlers to seniors) needed such as kiddie pools, beaches, etc and lounge chairs were never a problem. Getting a beach towel or returning it was not an easy process so had to lug it back to the room until the next day. Clean and well maintained grounds and buildings and best of all the food was very good with plenty of selections.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Disappointed

Was frustrated trying to book a'la Cart restaurants. One of our party had been at this resort a couple of months prior and was told we could book all 10 before we arrived. We could only book 3. Then we were told the restaurats would be loaded mid afternoon Saturday. They were loaded Friday night, then all booked for where and/or when we wanted to go. The entertainment on the app. should state 'where' it is located, to prevent us trying to find it. Children should be kept out of the adult  [... read more]section and pool by staff. Not wait for visitors to advise staff. Buffet food was never warm, even at the time it was opened. Air conditioning was out in our rooms and some restaurants for 3 days of our stay, without any communication from staff. Water pressure was a problem on Friday December 8th, including not being able to flush the toilet. Pool was not adequately cleaned. There was algae on walls, and leaves on floor of pool. In 10 days we were there, I never saw it vacuumed, we were at the pool all day and could see it from our rooms.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Nice Resort

Small beachfront resort, 2nd time their first time no issues what so ever. They are lacking towels , had 2 bath and 2 facecloths on arrival, never a bathmat. I was aware of this so brought 2 of my own. Used a beach towel for a bath mat as we never received one & shower leaks on the floor. The couple we were with had no towels, pillows , safe was broken & door was damaged and didn't lock properly, they did get a new room on day 3. New room everything worked. They ran out of beer & some mix day 2  [... read more]but got stocked up again day 4. Our Room had a shower curtain for a door & fridge empty on arrival but received pop and beer day 2 . We only received water twice during stay but always cold water in Lobby. They use to have a local band nightly in the lobby bar which was great. Food was good in the buffet & only did 1 ala cart as they are impossible to get into as only one open at each resort . Over all we had a great time but did notice a difference when we where there last. Company needs to up their supply for staff to give to guests, there is no reason to not have towels, pillows in room & water. If they have no towels to replace what they take they should leave what is there. I did feel for the staff as they did get complaints , but they can only do what they are supplied with. As I said this is the chain issue, or poor management not the staff. Unsure if we will go back or I would recommend to friends. Staff did their best with what they had. First visit 5 stars & this one 3.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing Resort

This resort is amazing, people are so friendly and helpful the beach is beautiful, the water is warm and very calm water. The buffet is delicious and very plentiful. I requested a room with an ocean view and they delivered, we were in room 17201 and were pleasantly impressed and the room was newly renovated. This is our 2nd time at this resort, and this time we brought friends with us, and they loved it so much, they also want to come back next year!

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: A few challenges with resort

Al La Carte booking system - when we arrived on Nov 29th we were told we couldn't book Dec 3-9 dinners until around 230pm Dec 2nd. At around 930pm Dec 1st we just happened to go on site and reservation system was open. Luckily we booked our restaurants because by 10am Dec 2nd all reservations were gone. App not being user friendly/containing relevant info - entertainment location not included on the app - had to hunt it down on the resort property. Air conditioning broken for 3+ days - self explanatory Water pressure spoty- sometimes it was great, other times it was just a trickle.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Great resort!

Big resort with lots of options for beach, food, rooms and entertainment. Rooms and entire resort are very clean - rooms cleaned daily. Overall service was great with fast turnaround times. Food was good - however, the Jamaican options at the buffet were great. Only complaints would be kids pool and the al a carte restaurants. A la cartes - Tex Mex and Calypso was extremely slow. Ocean Eden Bay: Disappointed!!!

This is the 4th time travelling to Jamaica, this time we travelled with a group of 21 people. I have never been so disappointed with a resort before, every-time you go to the bar, you feel like you’re bothering the bartender to give you a drink, the food is okay not much variety, did not see any of the fruits Jamaica is known for, the bars are always running out of cups and straws, there are no servers walking around the pool or beach to ask of you need a drink. Beautiful ground, small beach areas ie can't take long walks on the beach, food overall good not great, buffet food often cold. Service very inconsistent from poor to good. On occasion, you asked for something they either ignored you or said they would get it for you and never came back to the table. Even the one towel person just glanced at us standing there and continued to talk to a coworker. Al a carte restaurants better service. Some minor issues in rooms never resolved. Ocean Coral Spring: Amazing resort

Gorgeous, clean and spacious hotels. Ample amount of options for daytime and evening activities & amenities. Food was phenomenal. Pool great. Only thing the beach was very rocky and had large amt algae.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Jamming Jamaica!

Bahia in Runaway Bay is quite nice! Very large resort with many different activities in different places all at once. You can fill your day with something different each and every day! Pool activities were a lot of fun and packed with energy! The entertainment staff was the best! Snorkeling was definitely up there as well! Soooo many different places to eat with so much variety! Azul Beach Resort Negril: Awful Food but nice swim up room

The hotel grounds are well kept. The swim up pool is nice drinks are okay but they are always out of somthing. Example mint, banana, rum cream the list goes on. Everyday was different some days they had what was on the menu but most days they did not. This hotel is not worth the price at all. I was disappointed, to say the least. No hot water around dinner time, our swim up balcony door wouldn’t lock. Lots of people asking you to buy stuff on the beach, which got annoying.

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Meh

Resort was pretty much what I was expecting with two exeptions. First, they ran out of beer on the wednesday and thursday. I could see this happening but would expect it to be remedied quickly not repeated the next day. Secondly they "ran out" of certain foods, that seemed to be remedied for us (4 of us) because we tip well but others went without. This method of extortion for tips would be easily eliminated with a good supply of foods and screams "Bad management" to me. Secrets Wild Orchid: We will be back!!!

We just got home 3 days ago and cannot wait to go back. My husband and I were there for our honeymoon and we couldn't have been more happy with our experience. In all honesty, we were a bit nervous to come to this resort because we read some reviews of unhappy customers and after about 24 hours at Secrets Wild Orchid, my husband and I were wondering what these unhappy customers have to complain about. Every day was living a dream. We did not do any excursions as we wanted to enjoy the resort in it's fullest and I'm glad we did. While the fitness gym is small, get there early to avoid a rush. We used the bikes and had so much fun lapping the resort over and over. The jerk chicken on the beach was an amazing daily highlight. The flavours were incredible. We went snorkeling off the shore as well. It did not take long to get drinks from the bar either as some folks have commented in past reviews. Be kind to the staff, use your manners and you will be served quickly. Even on the beach we had our drinks delivered in a timely fashion. I think it's helpful to remember there are other people on the resort ordering at the same time as you, so be realistic. I had the pleasure of spending my birthday in Jamaica and the staff at the Bordeaux restaurant sang to me and made it so special. Kimberly was our server and she made my birthday dinner a memorable experience! She is so friendly and "real" and people like that land with me and my husband. We went to the Bordeaux restaurant most nights and had the filet everytime. The scenery at that restaurant was our favourite with the outdoor candlelit dining and night view of the hillside. I found it very romantic. We did the Himatsu restaurant as well and Romaine was our entertainment there! It was very fun! Keneil served us at the poolside restaurant on Wild Orchid side. He had personality to boot! We enjoyed watching him slay serving tables and singing a tune while he did so. We had many wonderful conversations with Syan, Bryan, Dacosta, Alyssa and the workers who were cleaning up the shore at the beach. Everyone was so friendly and what we noticed was that they kept asking us how we were enjoying our experience. They were very interested in hearing our answers and connecting. It meant a lot to us have this personal touch from the staff. I cannot capture our level of happiness with this review even though I'm trying my hardest! Secrets Wild Orchid will have our hearts forever.

Riu Montego Bay: Nice resort with amazing staff!

Very good value for the pricepoint. All three resorts: Riu Montego Bay (RMB), Riu Reggae (RR), and Riu Jamaica Palace (RJP) share evening activities at RMB. RMB was definitely the more ‘fun’ resort with a younger crowd. RR and RJP seemed to have more premium liquor and food options, but RMB definitely has more variety. Also RR and RJP can come to RMB and enjoy all amenities - but not vice versa. Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Amazing resort! Delicious food and WONDERFUL STAFF!

Beyond my expectations 5*****… I have never been to a resort where I would go back and RIU Palace Tropical in Negril is it! The staff are so wonderful and friendly. The entertainment staff was fantastic.. the food was delicious. The room was great, clean and large. The beach was beautiful! Can hardly wait to go back.
