Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Great food and staff but the evenings are boring
There was a lot of good at Paradisus La Perla. The food was very good and the service from the staff at the pool and in the public areas was really attentive. They were friendly and definitely the highlight of the stay for our group of four. The downside is that this is sold as an adult resort, but you have to walk through the kids' section to get to most of the restaurants. The evening entertainment was lacking and there are no real places to hang out at night. The bars just felt like waiting [... read more]
Barcelo Maya Caribe: Wonderful vacation
The grounds, rooms, restaurants are all super well maintained. Service was excellent and the friendly welcoming staff added much to our stay. Lots of sargassum on the beach but that is beyond the resort’s control. They worked very hard to remove it.
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Sun and Sand
We travel to the Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Ka'an Feb 13 through 23 with some friends. The staff is lovely and so helpful. Grounds are well kept. Food was good. You won't go hungry. Drinks were plentiful. Entertainment was ok at this resort much better at the sister resorts which we had access to. The nice thing about this resort is that its quiet if you want to be around the action its only a trolly ride away. There were a few things that not 100% but nothing that would make me not return. Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Amazing Resort!
This Resort was amazing from start to finish of our trip. The rooms, grounds, pools, beaches, staff and food exceeded my expectations and I would return again in the future! The lazy river was great, the wildlife was abundant and the evening show and entertainment staff were wonderful!
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great hotel
The property is really nice. The staff are awesome and food was also good. The a la carte restaurants should get booked ahead of time (download the app) it’s not on the beach but just a short golf cart away. I stayed at COBA side and there is only 1 bar at the beach that we were able to order from - silly if you ask me. Giving 4 stars because there is always room for improvement
Riu Lupita: Good service at average resort
Service was good! People like Carlos(supervisor ?)in the buffet was always very welcoming and couldn’t do enough it seemed. And also the server Sayman was eager to please too. Santos and Bianca in the main bar were excellent and very friendly. Delphino worked the beach bar (mostly) and was also very good and friendly. Overall the service was good even at the check in/lobby. When we needed or asked for something they did their best to do it quickly. Whether a request in person or through [... read more]
Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique Hotel: Great Time
The hotel needs updating but we are not in our room very much so didn't bother me but not what you expect at 5star. That being said the food was fantastic 5star drinks were always flowing even when you didn't order it waiter saw you were almost empty and would bring you a fresh one the beach was nice and cleaned all day long. Anyone hoping for night life this is not the resort for you as there is none. The people are all so friendly always with a smile and said hello. Not sure I would recomme [... read more]
Allegro Cozumel: Amazing resort!
This resort is not a five star but definitely a 4.5 star. Food can be improved! You can always find something to eat, repetitive menu for buffet! The resort grounds and rooms are beautiful. By far the beach is the best and very good snorkeling! The entertainment staff kept the vibe going for sure! Many games were played and shows were seen! Thank you Allegro for an amazing holiday! Carnival week was a hit!
Royal Solaris: Great stay!
The hotel was clean and well laid out, the rooms were large and beds comfortable! The staff was friendly and helpful, we would absolutely return again! A few tips, get to the pool early if you want a chair beside the pool, don’t just leave your towels you have a seat saver, there is an ice cream cart at 2pm that moves around the resort. The pizza snack bar by the pool is incredible and the lunch 1:30ish buffet by the beach is also very very good!
Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Very good resort - it is a 4.5 as advertised.
Suite was wonderful - large, modern and dry not damp. Beach was lovely and they really stayed on top of removing the sargassum grass. The resort was kept very clean and the staff were all wonderful. The food was great. We were late booking the restaurants so we only got into one of them as it was a busy week. Lots of activities if you wanted them. Pickup and drop off were efficient. There were virtually zero vendors on the beach all week and the resort felt super safe like a gated commun [... read more]
Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta: Awesome resort!
In spite of what happened here on February 22nd the staff stepped their game to accommodate all in lockdown. I felt for the staff as they couldn’t go home to their families. No complaints they took it in stride. Nicest people in the world! Never felt more safe and appreciated. Kudos to the Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta. Excellent service from the kindest friendliest people. Thank you! ?

Ocean Coral and Turquesa: Beautiful resort
Ocean Coral and Turquesa is well laid out. It is easy to get around. The four pools run from North to South along the Caribbean Sea. We stayed at Privilege and had access to the fourth pool - adults only. The Privilege Lounge is lovely but the service is rather slow. Our butler, Carlos, was very helpful and assisted us with booking an Uber to go to Puerto Morelos. He also made all the restaurant bookings for us.The suites are spacious and comfy with a beautiful bathroom with a private toilet, la [... read more]

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Great pools, great food, no family friendly evening entertainment
We really enjoyed Riu Palace as a multigenerational family trip - 2 young kids, parents and grandparents. Quiet, lovely resort with huge pools, excellent food, attentive friendly staff and clean, spacious rooms. Staff were lovely with our young children and very friendly (and patient with us trying to practice Spanish!). *We enjoyed the waterpark (over at Santa Fe) a few times - the small splash area is appropriate for young children, and the larger waterslides are only for >120cm tall (my li [... read more]
Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Simply the best!
The Paradisus La Perla was an amazing resort! Such a high-end beautiful and luxurious resort, with such an incredible tropical nature feel. The beach is scrumptious! The food is gourmet (including amazing gluten free options expertise and care) and very high quality. The best part is the staff; they go way above and beyond to ensure you are enjoying your stay. We will be doing a more detailed review on a couple of other platforms, but in one line, this place knocked it out of the park! Kudos to [... read more]
Grand Oasis Riviera: Very Relaxing and Quiet Resort
First of all we want to thank Beth for all her help with booking our group of 10, she was absolutely amazing!! The Resort was super quiet but nice if you were looking for a relaxing getaway, which we were. We got to stay in the new building furthest from the beach but the rooms were WOW! We had a pool directly off our bottom floor Terrance with our own Sun beds and 4 layout chairs. We had a few issues with the rooms but very quickly fixed up, but we were the first ones staying here. Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Paradisus La Perla - A Piece of Heaven
A pristine hotel/resort with well manicured grounds, friendly and helpful staff from the personal concierge to the housekeeping team. Excellent food and wait staff in the buffet and all other restaurants. Numerous food choices - delicious and presented very well. Rooms are well appointed and the swim out was an added luxury. Nightly entertainment offered different genres for every taste. Reserve pool was nice and quiet while main pool was more lively. Walked the beach every day and swam in t [... read more]
