TRS Turquesa: Horrible

This resort was horrible they didn't give us the room that we asked and paid for, we arrived on a Monday and told us that our room might be available on Tuesday This is not acceptable. I paid for that room for that day and didn't get it!!! The staff at the front desk and the manager were rude and unprofessional I am totally disappointed disgusted and furious Had I known that this was going to happen I would not have booked that resort and I'm mortified that instead of me being stressfree I  [... read more]was stressed out which with my health I wasn't supposed to get and avoid stress. That's why I went and they caused me to have major panic attacks!!

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: WOW

Literally everything about this resort is amazing. The food (even the buffet, especially the restaurants) was top notch. For the buffet I especially enjoyed the fried cheese and the white chocolate fountain. As far as restaurants, the Japanese restaurant absolutely killed it! I actually would just go back for that specific restaurant. One worker in particular named Cecilio who was driving carts was extra helpful. He drove me around to at least 2 different areas on my own while I was searching for a lost Ipod and jacket. He sensed my urgency and went above and beyond to help me out. As a joke I nicknamed him "Fire-Catcher" which I think he found humorous. Rooms and pool were all properly sanitized and I really felt safe on the resort. At no time did I want to go home, even when the trip was over. We met up with another worker in particular, Oscar, who was an awesome game-host and brought us to play some darts. He recognized me everyday and was an awesome friend to have on the resort. The shows were also great, especially a fire show. The beach is amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better setting for the wedding of my two best friends. Really, cheers guys! You made us all very happy.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Beautiful Large Property - Third Time Back

This was our third trip to this wonderful hotel with beautiful, spacious rooms and many private locations on there large private property. With so many beach areas, as well as amazing pools for all age groups, this resort makes you feel like you are at a different beach every day. We upgraded to the Lady Hamilton Adults Only, Building 32 and had a beautful 1 bedroom suite with two balconies, one open and one covered. Both balconies had amazing oceanviews. This resort is large but major walkways are covered and golf carts are available. We ate at the buffet most days and did enjoy Bubba's Steakhouse one night. Food at some of the buffet stations could have been hotter. Booked with Tripcentral so compared prices easily and booked one of the few weeks that prices dropped for Jamaica. It is worth the extra price for what you get. Previously stayed at the Jewel Paradise Cove, Bahia Principe and the Montego Bay Holiday Inn.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Beautiful Resort

We loved this resort. It's true that it's very large but found it easy to get around. There are shuttles you can hop on if you don't feel like walking. We stayed in building 17 almost the farthest from the main building which took us about 5 min to walk to. The main pool is huge. There is definitely an issue with the tiles popping off though....they are laying all over the bottom of the shallow parts and can be dangerous if you slip. They could do a better job of keeping it clean but we still  [... read more]enjoyed swimming there. Lots of loungers and palapas in the shade. The food was outstanding. The Buffets were great and the food was hot. For dinners we went to Bubba steakhouse, the Italian, Asian and Indian. We loved then all! We were really impressed with the decor and ambiance of each of them. The only one we had to wait for was the steakhouse. It was about a 45 min wait but didn't mind as we just relaxed at the bar with a drink until outer table was ready. Overall this is a beautiful resort with good service and amazing food. We will go back for sure.

Grand Palladium Palace: Par

The grounds were incredible, always clean and beautiful. The buffets were okay, a huge selection of food. Not always cooked to perfection but the variety was there so always able to find something to eat. The restaurants on the other hand were absolutely perfect! With the exception of the Brazilian one. All our servers (buffet and restaurants) were great! The rooms (for being deluxe renovated) not bad. Whenever you showered the water would always flow into the bedroom thru the glass doors o [... read more]n the other side. The air conditioning needs to be fixed. The safe in the room didn't work. The fridge was restocked daily and the rooms were cleaned daily - no complaints as far as that goes. The pool was always clean and the beach was spectacular.

TRS Turquesa: 6th Time!! Still our Favorite.

We stayed April 29th until May 6th 2017 and had another amazing time. Had rain the first couple of days however the sun did shine for the next 5. We always have great service and love the RST. We do eat breakfast at the Palace buffet and Marcella takes great care of us. Alex has a great team working for him. Front desk management are wonderful and Tomas is always there to assist us when we arrive. We like the Cabana Swim up rooms. A mini Paradise.

TRS Turquesa: Great vacation spot

We really enjoyed our vacation at Royal Suites. Lovely swim-up room was a special treat. Great staff and all facilities were first-rate. Part of a four resort grouping so lots of choice for restaurants and activities. Nice pools and beach. Highly recommend.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Awesome Resort! Paradise!!

Stayed at Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton for 4 nights with a group. The resort was well beyond expectations. The thing that impressed the most was the vast amount of beautiful space the resort offers. The website doesn't do justice to the vastness of this place. There are so many options of pools and beaches that offer a nice variety of experiences from one day to the next. Then there are so many dining & entertainment options that offer the same variety of experiences throughout the evening [... read more]s. The facilities are beautiful. The food is nice. The rooms are great. It is a wonderful place to spend a week!! We would absolutely look for an opportunity to return!

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Lovely Resort

The resort was lovely and very clean. The food was very good. The only problems we had were two nights when we went for showers there was no hot water. We asked for our room to be cleaned in the AM as we like to go back in the afternoon but that only occurred once.

TRS Turquesa: Excellent resort... even in the rain!

Lots to do. Lots to see and lots of places to relax and enjoy the sun. We had three days of rain on our seven day trip and we still enjoyed our time. There are many covered walkways, golf carts to bring you from place to place, many restaurants and buildings to hang out in. Service was incredible and the food is endless and delicious. Any food you can think of or imagine, you could find there. Rooms were very nice, similar to a hotel in Canada. Highly recommend.

Grand Palladium Colonial: Third visit and still amazing!

We just returned from renewing our vows at Grand Pallidium Colonial resort. Elsa our wedding coordinator was amazing during planning and organizing every last detail. Resort was loved by all 25 family members traveling with us. Resort clean, service and food amazing. There was a little mess up with room set up with our family of 6 but they worked to rectify asap. Very happy and relaxing trip

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Graduvation 2017

This is our 11th trip to this Resort, so obviously we like it. We have celebrated milestone birthday's and anniversary's at this resort but this year was extra special as we brought our 3 adult children plus two girlfriends all of whom who were graduating from University, so it was a big celebration. After going to the same resort for 11 years you would think at some point they would have a record of your stay. They don't, after 10 years you get a grey braclet (not sure what the benefits are if any) but anyway I brought our bracelets from the previous year, well this totally through them off, they didn't know what to do. The manager came over and said to us look in my eyes and he said no don't recognize you and doubted us. He said wait in the lobby until he checked something out, it was an hour waiting to get checked in, why I don't know. The other inconsistency is making reservations for restaurants, 4 people, 4 different days and 4 different answers mostly no can't help you. Funny the 4th person made reservation for 3 restaurants no questions asked. This year not sure what the confusion was with reservation, the week before we were to leave we were contacted by Trip Central to stay the rooms that we were staying in at the Punta Cana part of the resort were going to be affected with the renovation and we were moving to the Palace resort, we said not a problem. I did recheck with Trip Central to see where we should check in at and she said check into the Palace lobby. When we arrived no one at the Palace knew what we were talking about and there was no reservation. We went to the Punta Cana lobby and they had our names, even when I showed the email from Trip Central they had no idea.

We arrived at the resort last Saturday midafternoon to be welcomed off the bus to the famous Jamaican punch drink. Check in was fairly easy and they didn't even ask for a credit card to have on file which was different. The staff were really great, cheerful which is what you want after a long day of travel. The feel of the place is very inviting. It wasn’t the nicest resort we’ve stayed at but it had its own uniqueness. You don’t have to reserve at the restaurants so it takes away that  [... read more]stress. If it’s busy yes you put your name down but it wasn’t an issue for us, we waited maybe 10 minutes tops. We only ate at the steakhouse which is highly recommended. We ate their three times and had the french onion soup & the fillet mignon (so good!!). The Italian restaurant next to it was closed for renovations so that was disappointing as it would have been my first choice. We didn’t bother pursuing the other restaurants. The buffet the first day we were there was disappointing to my husband but after that the selection of food was much more appealing. In regards to our room we had booked the honeymoon suite so we already knew the room would be amazing. It was spacious, inviting and the hot tub you basically could call it a mini swimming pool, it was huge. This was on the Lady Hamilton side which seems to be known to be the nicer side. I think we could agree as it had the nicer beaches and additionally we had the adult pool just around the corner from our room. The main pool I stayed away from. I tried it once for a few minutes only to be disappointed as it was quite dirty and it smelt bad. The adult pool seemed better maintained. It’s not very big and to be honest the pictures on the site made it look huge. So when I saw it I was a bit of surprise how small it really was. But it was a great place to hang out and they played great music. Drinks anywhere on the resort we had no complaints. The resort carries high end alcohol which was surprising and if you asked for a strong drink you will definitely get it. Most of the bartenders were great. A few were a bit grumpy but over all I give it a 9 out of 10 for service. My husband’s favorite drink similar to Baileys was the Rum Crème on the rocks. Internet gave us lots of problems until a few days before we left. We finally met with one of the IT guy’s named Sean and all he had to do was adjust some wires and it worked great. So if you are having constant issues demand that an IT person meet with you. We were so angry by the end of the week we finally got Sean to meet with us once front desk took us seriously. I have my own business so it was something I needed to have. That was my main stress at the resort. I snorkeled (brought my own snorkeling gear) at Coral beach several times which had a good amount of fish and also had my first encounter with an Octopus which was such a treat. What I was disappointed with was there was garbage in the water which I tried my best to pick up what I could. I really hope management has one of their employees go in and clean it time to time. There is nothing worse than snorkeling to find garbage, very sad. One guest even found a piece of sharp glass. Over all it was a great experience. I would say the beaches were the nicest I’ve seen on any of our resort trips except Maui (we’ve done now Hawaii, Cuba, Florida, Mexico & Jamaica all several times) I would go back but we normally try something new each time we go away. Grand Palladium Colonial: Excellent resort

Excellently food, nice pools, lots of activities for kids, great for family vacations. A lot of walking but plenty of golf carts transporting people all over resort. I would recommend to friends with or without children. There's something for everyone.

Our stay at this resort was great. It had all the amenities and more than enough variety to keep you busy and entertained for a week in paradise. Food, amenities, grounds, and staff were all excellent.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Everything was amazing from beginning to end!!

This was a family getaway. Our children ages 13 - 28 had a blast. The food was awesome with a large variety. The service and hospitality was amazing. Friendly atmosphere. The excursions were fun. I enjoyed the spa and the spa services.

Grand Palladium Palace: Incredible Resort!

This resort is absolutely beautiful. Our room was amazing (we had a loft suite) and very very clean, I could not get over how nice the rooms were, especially after going to Cuba last year, this well exceeded our expectations. The food is great, the staff is amazing, the beach and pools are fantastic (especially the secret pool). I really cannot say enough good things about this resort, I have zero complaints. Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Great Resort!

This is our third visit to this group, twice to the White Sands section and once to the Colonial section. Guests at the White Sands are permitted to enjoy the facilities at the other sections. This is an eco resort with naturalized grounds which attracts many birds, lizards and local small mammals. The waterways and lagoons surrounding the pool and main resort have many local species of fish and the walkways running between the restaurants and buffets have koi fish, the resort provides pellets e [... read more]ach day for feeding. The Colonial Section also has flamingos as well as the Kantenah Section with crocodiles, all of which adds to the experience. The restaurants are all very good as well at the buffets, which are well stocked. Worth visiting is the "show" at the Japanese restaurant where the chef displays his knife and grilling skills. The El Dorado (steak house) is excellent, a fine dining experience with the steaks cooked to perfection, I would recommend the filet migon. While reservations are not required with the Imperial Club booking, those who have made reservations will have priority, it is highly recommended for the Japanese "show" which is very limited with a specific seating arrangement, reservations may be made at guest services at 8:00 am. The resort provides reservations, if you desire, for the regular portion of the Japanese or other restaurant via a mobile app/chat. The rooms are clean and spacious, our villa 56 was renovated and centrally located beside the pool and a short walk to the beach. Umbrellas are not provided in the rooms so if you want one, you will have to bring your own. Our fridge was always well stocked and additional pillows were quickly provided upon request. The beach area is spacious with lots of papalas on the White Sands section. Many guests do not realize the premium "swimming" beach is in front of the Colonial section, just next door. The White Sands has the coral bottom "snorkeling" beach. This beach section is amazing with a more shallow coral bottom home to approximately 20 species of local tropical fish. No need to book a snorkeling excursion, you can snorkle for free at your own resort. The fish love bananas and you will quickly be surrounded by them. There are also rays as well as an occasional glimpse of a turtle. Recommend you bring a mask and snorkel and some water shoes of you dont have flippers. Masks/snorkels are available to borrow at the resort. The salt water pool which is just past the gazebo is a must see. The fish are able to swim through out the pool, the entry of the large fish is controlled by grills. Also to note, this is a more natural pool and may at times have sand/rocks and seaweed. While we did not spend any time at the pool, however, it was large and very clean. Transportation within the resort sections was plentiful if you did not want to walk. The train ran constantly and the staff were quick to give a ride on a cart to any lobby anytime. All of the staff were very warm and friendly, always greeting us and accommodating with any request. We would definately return.
