Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Beautiful resort

Bahia is a very nice resort, a little sad about my room location. After requesting any floor other than the ground floor I was not happy to be on the ground floor and facing the jungle which gave me no breeze what so ever. It is a very large resort so with that being said make sure that u try all of the beaches before you opt to settle with the golden section as it is nowhere near as nice as the other three sections.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Amazing Resort!!!!!

Amazing family holiday!!!! The hotel staff are all so wonderful and very helpfull, the maid from room 1004 was so nice she did beautiful things each day with the towels and flowers. The shows at nigt are incredible. The entretainment staff is super excelente. Thank you Yenifer and Chaca for making us laugh and have fun.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: GreatAdult Resort

Clean, well maintained, comfortable and great service all combine to make this an ideal place for a relaxing holiday. The choice of restaurants and cuisine, well prepared and delicious food combined with atmosphere just add to the idyllic location. This was our second time and we plan to return.

We have been to many resorts In Cuba, Dominican, Panama and Mexico etc, but the. Bahia Principe Coba is definitely our favourite. Beautiful grounds, great pools, excellent food and the staff are wonderful

this resort was everything we expected and more. We have been twice in the last 6 months, staff are friendly. lots of activities never have to leave the resort. Food was great loved the Italian restaurant.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Not so amazing service at this resort

Hello, Looks like it went downhill since we left that resort. I’m getting private messages from tripadvisor members with “horror stories” about how that resort changed in just few months. Few times in Mexico but first time at this resort and our stay was fun but unfortunately there is that but. In not to many words resort is gorgeous, location is very nice, beach long enough for a walk ( my favourite ), accommodation more than adequate, facilities - something for every taste, food acceptab [... read more]le ( food is not my first reason to go places) same menu repeated every day with small changes/additions with frequent shortages of some items ( hurry it wont last too long) but the crown jewel was staff - compared to last years Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda this resort gets 0 cause i cant rate negative for service. It was a shock to see empty tables and no one around to set them up until you asked for it many people set up tables them self taking utensils, glasses and napkins from the cart because there was no one around many many times. There were big misunderstandings between staff and tourists ( some staff had no English language skills i would think otherwise would have to accuse them of malicious behaviour ) - in buffet restaurant its normal to go for the second plate and come back to your table what is not normal is to find your table cleaned and prepared for new clients. It happened to us and initially we were joking about it but when couple beside us also from Canada had the same experience after explicitly telling the waiter WE ARE COMING BACK ( next waiter came and cleaned everything) it stooped being a joke. Because preset tables shortages were frequent one older couple from Russia or just Russian speaking had nasty awakening - they sat at one table and did not notice a piece of paper left by Premier Club representative who had a presentation at that table and just left with his quests to show them around i guess. When he came back his reaction was anything but expected - he shouted at them that this is his table and then moved on to another but cleared everything from that table leaving them empty - no fork, knife, napkins or water glass. Considering that this was a Premier Club rep. and 5* hotel in Mexico i have no words to explain this behaviour. Two day after coming back we both got stomach flu - i'm sure from Mexico because three - four days into our stay they started to offer hand sanitizer at the restaurant entrance so it was not a coincidence. Overall like i sad i don't go for a food and hotel was wonderful, Mayan ruins unforgettable and weather was gorgeous, nasty stuff that we did catch at the resort comes and goes. Will probably check another hotel next time.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Loved this resort

This is a superior resort with very good service and delicious food. We especially enjoyed dining in the outside section of one of the buffet dining rooms in the evening. Great friendly service. They also informed guests around the pool by leaving a paper on each chair at night that they cannot install their towels at the crack of dawn to reserve their chairs around the pool for an indefinite period of time. Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: amazing time

could not ask for anything else, amazing staff, grounds and also rooms. best family vacation ever! Everyone there went out of the way to make this vacation great. You can tell that the staff really cares about their quests.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Beach was great! Terrible room!

After paying a considerably higher than usual amount for a 1 week stay, we expected to have great room, and delicious food, but that was not the case. Hotel payed attention more to the look of the outside rather than taking care of the problems in the rooms. Aside from slipping in the shower and injuring myself pretty badly on our first day, we had to deal with a leaky ceiling right above the toilet. Imagine sitting on the toilet and water dripping on your head (possibly toilet water from the r [... read more]oom above). Hotel attempted to fix the issue but it was not resolved. We did not get anything to make our stay more comfortable. Food was very repetitive and did not have a large variety. I ended up loosing weight rather than gaining. Took a lot of time going from place to place due to the large resort. Resort busses were pretty good on time but again wasted a lot of time going from one place to the next. Beach was absolutely spectacular. There was enough room in the shade and plenty of chairs for everyone. Pool areas were pretty clean and the water was very warm and enjoyable. We had a somewhat relaxing holiday, advise from limping and dripping toilet water. I would not spend the money to go to this resort again. Completely overpriced!

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Good Resort for Price

Staff is very friendly. A short ride form the airport, service was a bit slow at poolside bar but just because of traffic. The drinks (once you get them to customize them a bit) were good. Food was decent - enough choice for every meal. Poolside and beachside were great. Nice, relaxing environment. Nightly activities were entertaining.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amazing resort!

I really enjoyed the villa style rooms it made you feel like you weren't just in a regular hotel. Walking around you can clearly see the grounds are very carefully maintained, grass, plants and trees are all nicely groomed. The food was amazing with a wide variety. I also loved that the beach was extremely close so you could venture away from the pool and attend the beach in mere seconds. I only wish there was music playing poolside that's all.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Amazing resort - best one we have been to!

This is a great resort. The La Hacienda offers a great place to gather as well as to buy souvenirs without leaving the resort. Twelve a la carte with great food and a welcome drink at each - only three of the require men to wear long pants and closed toed shoes - wonderful. Pool and beach are fantastic. Rooms were excellent, clean and a good size. Easy to get around this big resort complex with little "trains" running every few minutes. We truly enjoyed and plan to come back with more family!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Perfect Family Getaway

We have stayed here twice now. 2 adults and 2 children(6 and 4 years old) and with my parents this time. First off the service is outstanding. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Service in the restaurants is the best I have seen in any resort. The wait staff in the a la cartes go out of their way to make your experience really enjoyable and the food is very good. The buffets are very plentiful, always room and again the staff goes out of their way. The rooms are comfortable and cl [... read more]ean. The Pools - Wow. The kids water park is great, it's nice the kids have their own area to get their energy out. The main pool is huge, there are also other satellite pools for those wishing for something a little more quiet and very nice as well. The Beach - This is the reason we returned. Sand bladders block rough surf, so it is very appealing for all ages. It's a bit of a hike or you can take the shuttle, again, the guys driving teh shuttles are incredibly friendly, and they pass by every 10-15 mins. My favorite part is the snorkeling. I can't believe the species of fish you can see even if you just float along the roped in swimming area. Going outside of that(at your own risk) would will be in a small coral reef where you can see gar pike, lion fish(be careful), sting rays(ditto), sergeant majors and more. FANTASTIC and doesn;t cost you a dime. Lastly the entertainment is really good and gets better year over year. I mean, its good for a resort but going out to the Hacienda for the kids show was incredible. It was lion king last year and our boys loved it.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Okay

Service was great and the best poolside service I've had. Our room had double beds and no availablility to change them in an adults only section, there should be kings available. Adults only area was accessible by all guests walking through to their rooms. No separate pool bar and a la carts had buffet starters and desserts.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Fabulous, second time around

I love this resort! We spent one week here at the end of March, our second visit to this resort. Everything was as good as before or better. The food was fabulous, as was our room and the weather. Don't let the trolly ride to the beach discourage you. It it really a 5-10 minute ride through a pristine resort. The waits were never more than 10 minutes. The staff here are outstanding and the pricepoint is unbelievable reasonable. Try it for yourself, you won't regret it:)

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Perfect resort for family vacation

Very nice resort located on the beautiful, well maintained ground. I had some reservations after reading reviews about beach and shallow waters but at the end it turned out to be one of the resort advantages. You can go in the water even during the storm because the beach is protected by a coral reef. At the same time you still can swim in open water that just 2-3 min walk away, very convenient. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Incredible 50th Birthday!!

This was the most amazing resort to spend my 50th birthday AND my daughter's 21st birthday, both on New Year's Eve!!! What an incredible party the resort hosted! Fantastic shows, great overall entertainment, fireworks, WOW! Such outstanding memories!!! I HIGHLY recommend this resort!!!!!! The staff is also wonderful and the pool activity coordinators are a blast!!! Thanks for an outstanding trip!

The hotel was very clean the service was excellent the food was fabulous our room was very nice. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Absolutely perfect!

This was the best resort we have ever stayed at and were extremely impressed. We have stayed at many Sandals resorts and really wanted an adults only. We went in with no expectations and were pleasantly surprised. The food and drinks were exceptional. We emailed our dinner and room requests ahead of time and all our requests were granted. We were very impressed with everything and will be going back!
