Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great vacation

Very relaxing 7 day visit to Bahai Principe Punta Cana. Rooms very large and clean. We booked in Royal Garden and the private check in was great. Service all around was great. Beach had some vendors on it but were very respectful when you say no. We stayed in Villa 3, 2nd floor down by beach and the shower pressure was overwhelming. Entertainment very good as well; choices for all. A very enjoyable stay and well worth the price. Trip Central made it all easy and was informative all through the trip.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Somewhat disappointing

We returned to this hotel after 17 years and were a little disappointed in the changes, not positive ones. We arrived to an unacceptably dirty room, sheets had feces on them. We called to have it rectified only to find out they changed the sheets only and not the dirty blanket. The bed was made with the dirty blanket. We did not have outdoor lights at our building during our entire stay when other buildings did. This was rectified the day before we left after complaining to the general mana [... read more]ger. The only thing that was good was the staff were very friendly and kind.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Ok resort for the price

Ok but not organized for the a la carte restaurant. They were saying to us that it was booked. They even closed one a la carte restaurant during our stay The wine was not the best quality. It was watered down. I was surprise to see that we could not drink the water from the tap.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Fantastic

This hotel was beautiful. The grounds are immaculate, the food amazing, staff are absolutely fantastic. Rooms were clean and nurse onsite goes above and beyond. Wish we could've stayed another week to enjoy more of this resort. Air transat was also amazing. I wont fly with anyone else.

The vacation was great, the staff was very friendly, the food in the buffet had a lot of options and the a la crate Mediterranean was great. The disco and married were a lot of fun as well, the beach was beautiful,

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Absolutely Beautiful Resort

This resort is everything you could want on your vacation. Beach was beautiful, pool lots of fun and buffet and a la cartes were top notch. No complaints at all... everything was amazing!!! Resort is very clean and grounds are well kept. Looking for your dream vacation book the Ambar

Ocean El Faro: Amazing Resort

Vacationed here with my hubby, another couple, and hubby's sister from Apr 25-May 2. ROOMS We stayed in the Privilege Section, Room 3308 (Privilege Junior Suite Pool View) The room looked exactly like it did in the photos. Our rooms were cleaned spotless everyday, sometimes twice a day. No issues with any water leakage in the bathroom as read on other reviews. The portions are quite big, so I wouldn't order too much. ENTERTAINMENT Foam party at the Main Pool was a ton of fun. The Bowling Alley was great. Showtime was great to watch. ** only thing I can suggest is the resort needs to advertise more with the activities that are going on in the day etc. SERVICE Service was Amazing! Absolutely no complaints. The restaurants were never short staffed. Pool staff was great. BEACH The beach was a bit rough with the waves. There were a lot of seaweed; however, we saw workers constantly trying to clean it up. Again, we were Privilege guests and had our own section on the beach with waiter services. Emmanuel was great and was always there if we needed anything. PRIVILEGE LOUNGE/RESTAURANT We ate here every morning for breakfast, the food was great. The waiter staff were amazing! Bernardo and Joan (aka Billy) were great and always approaching us with water and making sure we were good. Overall, I would DEFINITELY return to this Resort!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amazing resort!

We have been to Punta Cana many times and this resort by far was the best one yet. Everything is close and within walking distance - pool, beach, lobby, buffet - and there are trolleys going constantly if you want to go to the other resorts or a la cartes. Staff are extremely friendly and are genuinely happy to help. We will definitely be returning next year.

Loved this resort, so much to do, beautiful grounds, food was amazing. Loved the adult only Ambar, we were completely spoiled by the staff. The beach is the best part, but can't complained about a thing. We would definitely go back!

Just back from a 1 week vacation with my husband and 2 adult children and we had a great stay at the Bahia Ambar! The grounds were kept well, the service unbelievable, the Food options the best we have ever had at any resort! The rooms were a perfect size with lots of space! Would highly recommend

Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: Wonderful Resort

The grounds were clean, the staff were amazing and the food was fantastic. My personal favourite was the Vietnamese restaurant. Unlimited a la carte’s, and there was always entertainment. The resort wasn’t overly loud or busy. It was definitely a great place to relax.

Viva Tangerine by Wyndham: pretty, renovated!

This has been my second trip to Dominican and I had a great time. The rooms were always kept clean and they’re renovated, as well as the beds were super comfy which I’m not used to having at resorts!! drinks are good, pool is great, beach is beautiful and has awesome waves which was fun to swim in (be careful of the undertow) the resort provides boogie boards and kayaks for free which I thought was cool. The food was good, I’ve definitely had better but I’m also a very picky eater, my bo [... read more]yfriend loved the food. My only complaint is that the entertainment at night wasnt very lively, I didn’t mind because I don’t care for it as much but I know a lot of people expect great entertainment to end their day. I would definitely like to try out the other Wyndham resorts.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Nice resort

We found the Ocean Blue and Sand a nice resort. The good was very good at all the restaurants we went to. The property was really pretty and the pools and beach were fantastic. We have 3 kids ages 4 and under and they absolutely loved the kiddy pool. They played there almost every day all afternoon. We found the service to be a little rude and unorganized. The staff was very short with you and didnt seem very willing to want to help. We had a few things wrong with our room. Our baby crawled on  [... read more]the floor and when we picked him up his knees, hands and feet were completely dirty. Our safe was broken and our bathtub was dirty. We had to call for an iron and ironing board and they took so long we were late for a dinner reservation. They said they would bring a cake to our room for 9pm on our daughter's bday and they didn't. We had to call them 2 times and they brought it the next day. She was a little upset. So overall we had a nice trip but they really need to work on their service.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Great Resort

Overall, the resort was amazing! Rooms were nice and spacious, clean pools and beaches, food was diverse and tasted great. Lots of activities to do such as kayaking, tennis, windsurfing, bowling etc... open bar 24/7

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Top-notch Experience

I loved everything. The variety of foods at the buffet was excellent. The fruits and vegetables were all fresh. The staff onsite were very helpful. The maids kept the rooms very tidy. Had a problem with the ac in our room had an issue and was address immediately. Will definitely go back.

Viva Tangerine by Wyndham: Family Resort

Pros : Beautiful beach. Gardens are well maintained. Restaurants are very good. Cons: Not sure why they say superior room. It is standard. No fridge. Small bathroom. Note: the patio door locked by itself. You can stay stuck on the balcony...not fun when you are on the 3rd floor... In the evening, it is boring. No entertainment, No music, no atmosphere. The people in the lobby play games, or they look at their phones...or they drink..If you don t have a game to play it can be very boring.The [... read more] shows at the theater are not every night. The chairs at the beach are side by side...No umbrellas...

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Beautiful resort

The resort was gorgeous, beautiful grounds clean rooms although in need of updates. Friendly staff. Food was odd. One important fact. The title of the resort should include the fact that it is a family resort geared for young children. The Family Fun Luxury Ezmeralda would be a better fit. We had no idea that this was the case. Had we known, we would have chosen an alternate hotel. We love children, we just didn’t expect to see kids at 9 in the evening at the lobby bar.

Impressive Punta Cana: Fabulous resort!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this resort. The grounds were well kept, the beach was clean, the room was clean, the staff were great and helpful. We liked that it was a smaller resort where we got to know a few of the guests. The food was decent and we generally had no issue getting into the restaurants we wished to. Not all restaurants were open each night, it would have been helpful to know in advance. Overall we loved it and hope to go again!!!

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Awesome Resort

What a great time. Beach was great. Pool area fun and easy to find lounge chairs. Food was abundant and delicious. Room very clean and mini fridge always restocked. Resort staff very friendly and helpful.

Casa Marina Reef Resort: excellent

Been there many times love the resort the rooms are excellent foods great entertainment is fun and excellent to watch but the people working there are so friendly and polite from the gardener to the chef. The value you pay is worth going there, been to other places keep going back.
