Valentin Perla Blanca: Great Resort

The resort was great, the food was good and the staff was incredibly friendly. We loved our trip and would definitely go again. The beaches and the pools were amazing. Some of the amenities were closed, but we think it's because the resort was not fully booked.

Paradisus Los Cayos: Wonderful experience

The rooms were clean, and the people were wonderful. The servers at the buffet areas, snack bar, and beach bar were polite, attentive and did their best to make your experience memorable. Food was okay, however snack bar has some good options. Cuba is known for its beaches and friendly hospitality. When going to Cuba to any resort, food will be a hit or miss. Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Heavenly!

My group of four girlfriends spent a wonderful 5 days here. Every single staff member is friendly, helpful and always greet you with a smile. The grounds can’t be beat and the resort isn’t too big or small. The beach is phenomenal and the water is sandy and clear. We enjoyed daily yoga class and some of the beach aerobics classes. Housekeeping always did a good job. Balconies are spacious and quiet. Wifi is decent but not strong signal in general, and had to walk to near gym to get a signal strong enough to do a video chat with family back home. We enjoyed all our meals both at buffet and tried all a la carte restaurants. High quality food at this resort and tons of variety to choose from. Bring bug spray for dusk if you plan to eat outside at that time. Ronald was very helpful to arrange a private tour of Havana and we had a great day. Recommend this above a bus tour as he was able to customize the day to what we wanted.

Playa Vista Azul: Not as good as last year

This was my third time at this resort. I’ve always been really happy with it, but it seems to be let go. This time I find the resort has let a few things go. We used to have a welcome drink when we arrived as well as coffee and tea in the rooms. Now they don’t do that anymore. The chairs and table for the balcony is not there anymore. What was on the buffet wasn’t really as good as it was. I have to say though that the staff was as gras always and the rooms are extremely clean. And of course the beaches are exquisite. Gran Muthu Cayo Santa Maria: Amazing resort

This resort was the best one I stayed at in Cuba. Very clean amazing beach the buffet had losts of variety I was surprised for Cuba the food was good. The staff is very friendly the rooms are clean we had clean towels every day . Beach towels, we could get fresh ones every day.

Memories Trinidad Del Mar: Perfect Location!

Memories Trinidad del mar is a lovely resort. Yes it's a 3 hour drive from the airport but there are so many sights to see along the way. And its location is ideal touring the surrounding country, especially the 500 yr old city of Trinidad. The resort architecture is built to mimic the colonial days of Cuba. Rooms are clean, staff is lovely and there is always room to sit at the beach or pool..in the shade or sun! You can walk for miles on the beach. Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Great resort

We booked our trip with the help of Karol from trip central. He was amazing help btw Rooms. Great for cuba. Clean but very outdated Beaches: beautiful blue and clear but bring water shoes has rocks and bring snorkeling gear amazing for snorkeling. Go see Roger for an amazing ride in sailboat. Won't regret it. Also lifeguard Axal, sweet sweet man that thought my kids to make flowers lut of palm leaves. Buffet repetive but we still manage to eat well. Melia Internacional: Hotel

Hotel was beautiful, love the ambiance. Lovely music, entertainment most nights were good. For a 5 star hotel food wasnt good. Too much meat. Dessert- very limited, most was mouse. In modern times a lot of people dont eat too much meat or are vegetarian. There should be a balance. One evening for dinner i ate bread & cheese. Barcelo Solymar: 3 star resort

It was a good resort. We encountered some problems. There was no water at all for the most part of one day throughout the entire hotel. We only had cold showers for the other 6 days. It did not get to 50 degrees at all, more like 40 degrees. There was no hot water. The people were great, the hospitality was top notch. Huge resort and they were keeping up with the up grades. Barcelo Solymar: Resort is general is good; our room was bad!

Positives: location is right downtown, within walking distance of the local markets, rum store, clinic, local restaurants and live entertainment (Calle 62, Beatles Club), Dance Clubs (La Comprisita, Havana Club). Beach is awesome, food is average (always something to eat), A la Carte Restaurants are above average (Seafood, Spanish, and Mexican restaurant). Drinks are delicious! Hotel is clean, service is decent, staff are nice. We also had full access to the resort next door, Occidental Arena [... read more]s Blancas. We were there often as well. Negatives: our room: bathroom sink leaked for the first 5 days; hot water was luke warm at best (50 degr, not higher). No water for whole hotel for 3/4 of the 6th day due to repairs; Our safe was defective and needed repairs. I called the Service Desk multiple times for the sink leak to be fixed, but the mechanic never showed. They said to stay in the room and wait, but we were on vacation, and could only wait for so long..

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Very nice resort

We all were very satisfied: the rooms, the food, the drinks, the pool area, the beach, everything in short reach, the people who work there are awesome. all good. The service from Tripcentral was very good too. Thanks it made our holiday great.

Hotel Vigia: Comfortable Friendly Resort

Small and Comfortable. Best beach in Cuba as far as I am concerned. Very clean. Staff is friendly and amazing. Grounds very well kept. Rooms need some Renovations but everything worked ok. Buffet food needs improvement. Overall I would give this a 4 out of 5.

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Great Resort

Extremely friendly staff, all around. Very accommodating whenever we had an issue or concern. The only negative thing about the resort was the fact that they were running low on some items, but Trumps fault not the resorts

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Playa Cayo Santa Maria Resort

This resort was/is billed as a Four Star (4*) Resort, in my opinion, it barely deserves the Three Star (3*) rating! The food was terrible. The rooms are tired. The lobby crowded and smoke filled. The entertainment was the worst we have ever experienced. We won't return. We were glad we travelled with a group, it made the stay a little more tolerable. Live and learn :)

Melia Internacional: Great experience

The hotel staff and facilities were excellent. Friendly, great service and overall a terrific vacation experience. Food was good except the beef - that was tough The only bad experience was the air carrier- Sunwing- I will never use them again

Melia Jardines del Rey: Beautiful beach

The beach is amazing! The colour of the water and white sand is breathtaking! On the down side- not near enough chairs on the beach, had to go very early to get chairs. But the staff was very helpful and the beach bar and snack bar staff amazing! The hotel needs allot of tlc.... no face clothes in rooms, no water at all or only enough for one person to have a quick shower. This was very disappointing. Only 220 watt outlets! The grounds are very dark, not well lit at all. The Trolly trains go  [... read more]very fast, you have to move out of their way. There is only a few of them for the whole resort... so allot of walking which we didn’t mind but be aware if you expect that service. The rooms were clean and staff were accommodating. For the price, we would not complain but would if we paid more. The staff were very kind and helped in anyway they were able.

Melia Peninsula Varadero: Enjoyable trip

Grounds were beautiful and room was very clean and spacious Pool was clean as well. Food was mediocre but could always find something that we liked The beach was small and crowded. Possibly because of the tide but we did not use the beach for that reason

Gran Muthu Imperial: Nice Location

Hotel was well maintained and very well layed out. Signage was poor when it comes to restaurants and washrooms. Staff very friendly and supper efficient. Would return for another holiday with friends.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Amazing resort

Everything was so beautiful looking for to go back there again it is so beautiful and the beach is so amazing and the staff so remarkable they keep us busy at all time we dance play all kind of game and so nice to walk around at night and the sun is so nice

Playa Vista Azul: Ocean Vista Azul

Overall the hotel grounds were very tidy and the room was quite modern. Pools were well kept and clean. Servers did their best to keep up but seemed to be understaffed. Every meal took at least an hour to get our food and they even forgot some of the order on more than one occasion. Never got our welcome drink or rum bottle even after reminding them twice. The bar service at the privilege pool area was amazing as well. The infinity pool off the lobby is amazing with the view of the ocean. The beach area was nice but sort of small for the amount of people that use it. Need to go early to save a chair or good luck finding a spot. Way too many people reserving spots who are never even there using it.
