Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Great time & great staff!

Hotel was great, resort grounds are clean and food is good for Dominican Republic. Seems that the resort was a bit overbooked when we first arrived but no complaints other than having to switch rooms the first day. Also the wait to check-in & get our rooms was a little lengthy.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Definitely return

Adults only side was right choice. Beautiful grounds, friendly staff. Always chairs available at beach or pool. Food was good but warm to cool. Good variety. Disappointing night entertainment. Premium level gave you better choice of house wine.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Nice resort very large though

The Bavaro resort is quite nice although it's very large. Sometimes hard to find chairs at the beach and pools. When it's raining there's not much to do but drink in the lobby which is packed. Juan at the lobby bar is exceptional!! Always smiling and going above and beyond to make people happy. Food is great variety and quite tasty not sure why people complain about it. The entertainment staff is severely lacking and quite possibly not even present at this resort. Example: volleyball net in the [... read more] pool but pool staff guy was quite rude - wouldn't give us a volleyball- said we had to buy one from the lady with the snack shack 29$ US. This was highly disappointing considering all other resorts we have been to have daily volleyball in the pool as a way to get guests to socialize and have fun together. Overall the resort is so large I likely wouldn't go back. It's well kept always kept clean but aside from a handful of good staff, I feel there's a larger number of staff that treat you like you're an inconvenience For instance the towel exchange fella I actually offered him a tip if he'd crack a smile - nope! (I have experienced this Dominican wide though, not just here)

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Beautiful, Relaxing Resort

Our stay at this resort was great. It had all the amenities and more than enough variety to keep you busy and entertained for a week in paradise. Food, amenities, grounds, and staff were all excellent.

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Had a blast , great place ,

All was perfect . Clean place , great food, friendly people . Would do it again for sure.the beach was awesome and cleaned everyday . The pool was also very clean along with the rooms. All staff members where super friendly. BBQ at the beach was another great addition, And both flights were great, we took Transat both ways with lots of room , first a 3301 and then a 330 plane . Big seats and lots of leg room.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Not as good as I remember

Not as good as we remember. It was our second time here, and we had alot of issues with our room. The construction next door sucks but isn't the hotels fault. Our air conditioner leaked for 3 days into jacuzzi before being fixed. Then it stopped working completely one night and I called and complained. Nothing was done until I found a maintenance guy and brought him into room and showed him how to bypass it. Room was never restocked with soap water alcohol or chips unless you called Butler and [... read more] complained.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: 5 star resort wito a few room blips

The food and grounds are beyond amazing! We were disappointed by our room this time; we had a shower stall that was not clean (mould around the base and covering the shower head), our air conditioner was leaking into the jacuzzi tub and the maid staff didn't stock the mini fridge or provide soap. Although these may seem like minor details we wasted more time than I wanted attempting to communicate and get what we needed. Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Wonderful Vacation!

Just returned from 10 days at Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana. Overall it was a wonderful experience! We were not initially pleased with the location of our room and asked to be relocated closer to our children. We were moved to a room with a beautiful oceon view on same floor, just doors from the rest of our family (we did pay extra but it was worthwhile). The food at the buffet was excellent and we chose to eat there all but one night. There was excellent selection and all delicious- steak, pasta, lobster,chicken-something for everyone. We at at the tempeniaki restaurant once and it was fun for the children.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Amazing Resort

This was the second time we stayed at this resort. It was again amazing! The grounds are immaculate, the people are friendly, the food is amazing and the beach is spectacular. We love this resort and looking forward to our next stay here.

Riu Republica: Rui Republica trip

We were very pleased with our trip to Rui Republica. Rooms were nice, grounds were beautiful & well kept, pool areas were clean & maintained. Enjoyed the activities & shows, staff were curious & helpful.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Excellent Family Vacation

The resort was clean and well kept. The food was good, lots of variety at the buffet and the a la cartes were great. Never had difficulty finding loungers at the pool or beach. Drinks were plentiful and service was great. Would definitely return.

Occidental Caribe: Paradise!

The hotel was amazing! Service and rooms were awesome and my friends and I had a very memorable time! The workers were very engaging and spent time playing volleyball with us. 100% would go back, we loved it!

Occidental Caribe: Great vacation with friends

My friends and I just came back from Occidental Caribe, and it was a fantastic time! Service was okay, the pool staff was amazing! Most of the other employees didn't really know much English (which is to be expected in a Spanish speaking country). Food was okay not the best though. Beach is amazing! We would definitely go back!

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Wonderful Resort

Very clean and service was awsome a little dated but understand updating is taking place august to november the food selection was great something for everyone and a beautiful section of beach their pool is huge and beautiful and the staff is friendly and accomodating. The excurtions they offer again something for everyone. I enjoyed it all emensely. I highly recommend it if your looking for an affordable price and a pleasurable get away

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beautiful resort!

The Gran Bahia Ambar Green is a beautiful, well maintained property. It is exceptionally clean. The buffet&restaurants were delicious. The staff were very friendly with always a "it is my pleasure" comment! The Bavaro beach is very beautiful and staff are always raking the seaweed which is very labour intensive as there is so much daily! Our only complaint is we have been going to this resort for years and the bugs or mites in the lobby bars are getting worse every year! We have stayed at two o [... read more]ther resorts in Punta Cana and have not encountered this problem, also we invited two other couples with us this year and they have not experienced this problem in their previous travels.

Grand Palladium Palace: Incredible Resort!

This resort is absolutely beautiful. Our room was amazing (we had a loft suite) and very very clean, I could not get over how nice the rooms were, especially after going to Cuba last year, this well exceeded our expectations. The food is great, the staff is amazing, the beach and pools are fantastic (especially the secret pool). I really cannot say enough good things about this resort, I have zero complaints. Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Not bad

The hotel was very nice but needed to have updated rooms and safes. The vendors on the resort were next level just constant badgering to buy stuff a little to much for my liking. The food was great and the staff was absolutely amazing the beach was also incredible.

The Reserve at Paradisus Punta Cana: Very very nice

The hotel grounds were so beautiful and there was lots to explore. The food was quite good, both a la carte as well as the buffets! We stayed at the reserve which had huge rooms. The only problem about the room in my opinion was the light switches made no sense. Sounds kind of silly but there were probably 25 light switches in a 900 sqf room with 2 master switches and it was just super confusing. Beach area was beautiful, lots of waves & seating. Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Amazing family vacation!

The resort was clean, modern and beautiful! The perfect size for families! Loved the kids pool with the view of the ocean! Staff was amazing, entertainment was incredible! Food was decent. We will definitely be back!
