Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya: Loved it!!!!!

This was our first time at this Hotel and loved it!!! We are a family with small children and it was perfect for them. We had a two bedroom suite with a personal assistant and he was amazing. He help us plan our vacation and was available at any time for us. We will definitely go back again :)

El Dorado Casitas Royale: Excellent Resort

Wonderful place to relax with amazing service. You could barely notice that a nasty tropical storm had passed by the day after. It does not have the best beach but it is good enough. It is not for you if your major interest is playing and enjoying being in the sea. However, you will certainly enjoy the many pools available which are everywhere and are quite good. We were very nicely surprised by the ecological friendly philosophy of the management in this resort

Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: Perfect in every way!

Wife and I booked this place for our 2 year anniversary/honeymoon and it excelled beyond any of our expectations. Rooms are great, clean and well maintained. Pools/gardens/facilities are awesome and beautiful. Food everywhere was top notch with so much selection. Service was the best as all the staff went above and beyond to serve in anyway they could. If you are looking for a resort that is relaxing, with lots of entertainment, incredible drinks and food, nice beach, amazing facilities and best staff/service than this is the place for you. If you want a place with a perfect beach than this may not be the place for you, if they could remove the rocks than this would be perfect paradise. Very pleased overall and can't wait to check out some of the other AM resorts.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Ok Vacation Place

Nice pools and decent food. However, common areas were understaffed and lacked air conditioning. Landscaping was great, but rooms were dated. Also, wouldn't recommend if you have small children. Resort is too large and you are very dependent on the trollies getting you from one place to the next. Trollies weren't frequent enough and very difficult to know which one you needed to take to get to a specific destination (should use different colours to differentiate).

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Wonderful and relaxing resort

The hotel is amazingly huge, and has three parts connected. I like this hotel because the workers oin the hotel are friendly. People recognized us because we are Asian, though we are Canadian. We registered to three restaurants, Tequila, Mediterranean and Le gourmet, all had good services. We took almost everyday tours to Chichen Itza, swam in the deepest cenote was a unforgettable experience. We also went to Ek Balan, Tulum, Coba. Unbelievable we didn't see the sunset but we watched a very wonderful show in Coba. I like this hotel very much, i enjoy this trip very much. I of course will recommend to my friends. And I would like to let you know this is a wonderful and enjoyable trip, we really want to tell everybody this is the best hotel you can rely on. Grand Sunset Princess: Great Trip

Everything was what we expected it to be. We had a great trip! The resort was very spacious and clean. The beach was also very clean and beautiful. Lots of entertainment and the shows were amazing!!!!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: A taste of Paradise

The hotel staff grounds and overall running of this resort was outstanding. Food was amazing. Only one suggestion, that the restaurants lobby area improve their cooling techniques with stronger A/C and or large fans. Major problem the snack bar near the pool in the Sian Ka'an needs netting to stop the birds from actually walking on and eating off of the buffet and dive bombing the tables when people leave. Could be a serious health hazard.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Fabulous resort!

My family and I just came back from a short vacation at the Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa, and we are already looking forward to going back again. We were received graciously by the resort's warm and respectful staff. Although we had to wait for a day to get the room we desired, it was worth the wait. The rooms are beautiful, neat, and tidy. Service is A1. Food is spectacular, and evening/night events are superb. We started recommending this resort to friends and family on our first day at the resort. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Return to the Bahia Akumal

This is my 2nd time back to Akumal in the last year. I do love all aspects of this Bahia resort location - food, service and rooms are excellent. Any minor service failures are remedied quickly. I found on this visit there was a lot of follow up from management regarding service and items were dealt with promptly. Buildings, rooms and grounds are well maintained. A la carte restaurants are excellent. The Dolce Vita was my favourite, and service is exceptional at all of them. The resort  [... read more]was busier this visit, and I was impressed at how hard the bartenders work their magic. It was non stop for them, and they were always pleasant. This resort is further away from the airport, but its beach, food and service is well worth the drive.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Still Amazing

This was our third visit to the Valentin and our first time booking through Tripcentral. We really enjoy everything about this resort. It is well maintained thanks to all the hard working staff. We love the huge pool and the creativity of the pool bartenders in providing us some tasty drinks. The beach is beautiful though the water was rougher this visit. Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Would not go back to a Bahia Principe resort!

Since this was a potentially last family vacation, I was very disappointed. We had problems everyday. 1. Air conditioner did not work - two days later, we were moved to a new room. 2. Since we had two rooms side by side, this took 3 days to move and we were without our belongings for 2 days 3. We did receive our luggage until 5:00 p.m. on the change day. 4. New room - my son's bedding had BLOOD on the sheets 5. Royal Golden service was not provided unless we reminded them 6. Our new r [... read more]oom had a lovely cockroach in it on the first night. 7. Highway traffic sound was very loud 8. The "a la carte" dinner reservation times were only 6:00 & 10:30 options because they said they were busy. 10:30 with a family is way too late. 9. Transat Rep, Karolina Koala was very rude. Just asked about the Transat baggage strike 10. Resort was way to crowded 11. Had to get up at 5:00 am to reserve a pool chair 12. Pools were crazy hot water 13. Hounded by the Bahia Principe sales people everyday! The only shining moment was the entertainment team at the Coba pool. Manuel was the best. I would don't return to a resort like this again and would avoid Transat.

Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: Awesome resort

The secrets silversands resort is by far one of the best luxery resorts I have been to. The rooms are very modern and clean and spacious. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay the best possible! The entertainment staff were amazing at keeping you going and having fun! I will definitely be returning!!!

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Not bad not the best

This was my third time in Cancun and would have to say that this resort was more of a four-and-a-half than a 5 reason being the beach was beautiful rooms were clean service was great and everyone was super friendly however the food was okay very small buffets and very repetitive also there is absolutely no nightly entertainment or disco for people that want to go out at night or do anything at night to became extremely boring and would have to go off resort to the club area in order to do anythi [... read more]ng this Resort is great if you have a family or are in your 40s to 50s that just want to relax but anyone from their 20s to 30s would find this Resort boring.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Amazing New Resort

First of all Miranda with Tripcentral.ca was an amazing consultant. This resort was amazing. Our first all inclusive. Adults only section but fam friendly. Amazing staff and service. Go and enjoy.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Great honeymoon resort!

The resort was beautiful! The food was even better! It was a great place for our honeymoon, a party in the pool and laid back at the beach. There was one bartender that really stood out at the big swing bar. He danced and sang all night long and kept you entertained. I loved the swing bar! However there was another smaller swing bar and one of the bartenders could get you drunk in two drinks and had a terrible attitude when you asked him to put less alcohol in... we avoided him! My only complaint would ve that the room service was either cold or the person in the kitchen had no idea how to make things... there was only 1 time where it was warm. Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Fantastic Resort with a Teeny Tiny Bit of Beach Problems

Ocean Coral & Turquesa is a beautiful resort and their staff are very polite and approachable. The food was absolutely phenomenal (Blue Moon Restaurant in particular) and provides many options for individuals with dietary restrictions/preferences. They even give their guests a card which marks which restriction/preference they have and the guest presents this when they eat so the kitchen staff will accommodate their preference/restriction. The pools were great, minus the fact that they got v [... read more]ery warm by the end of the day which is understandable, because the sun and all the bodies swimming in it. Unfortunately, by no fault of it's own, the resort's beach (as well as many others along the same coastline) are experiencing an issue with seaweed. Most days there would be large mounds of seaweed washed up on shore and entering the water was uncomfortable because it would either be floating in the water or you would step on it. With that said, the resort is very good at controlling the seaweed problem by having members of their staff tasked at cleaning the beaches each day. The larger issue with the seaweed is that as less people use the beaches, the pools get crowded quite quickly. Make sure you get to them early if you want decent chairs. The room was great and very cool (thank you, air conditioning). The only issue we experienced with our room was that the water temperature from the shower was inconsistent so it was hard to have a shower without adjusting the temperature several times. Additionally, there was no door to our bathroom, just a curtain which although stylish and romantic, for those individuals who may enjoy more privacy in the bathroom this may prove to be a bit uncomfortable. Overall, our vacation was fantastic and despite the very minor issues which we encountered, we would definitely recommend the resort to friends/family. Ps. they have a wonderful entertainment team who are very engaging and fun and their dancers are absolutely phenomenal!

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Good but not much fun

Service is great. However after 1 am its dead. Every bar is closed. Cant swim in the pool. No people outside. Great if you are looking for a quiet place. Not cool if you want parties. Close to lot of cool places. If you want to rent a car and go to places your self its nice.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Beautiful resort, but way to many kids

July 16-26/2017 When we arrived we were put in a villa way out by the Dolphin pool. It was a long walk to everything. We asked for a room change since we were repeat customers, then put in Villa 12..... it was awesome!! View of pool and ocean. The pools are very warm this time of year and lots of families enjoying the pool , which made it difficult to have a quiet day. The worst was people .....from the US always trying to hoard in on your umbrella!!! They practically sat right beside you. We  [... read more]had to ask a few times for people to back up. The food was absolutely the best I have ever had at an all inclusive. We did 1 a la carte and it was good. Service in the buffet was top notch due to a wonderful young man named Gama. He lead us to the air conditioned section everyday. The bar service at the main beach was hit and miss, some bar tenders where grouchy and rude. They work very hard having many things to do, but if you can't be nice under pressure get a different job. Would we go back...... only to the adults only section.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Great vacation at Occidental at Xcaret destination

This is our 2nd time at this resort in the last two years. The grounds were well maintained, as well as the pools, there were lots of leaves and berries in the pool some days, but there were 3 staff in the pool trying to clean it when we were there. I expect it is a big job to maintain the pool with all of the trees surrounding it. We upgraded our room to a suite in the Royal area as we were there celebrating our 5th anniversary. We ate at all of the restaurants and had not complaints, we had sushi at the Oriental a la carte which was good. The sushi at the snack bar was also very good, and the chef came out and made us some special sushi just for us when he saw that we were enjoying what was in the buffet. The restaurant at the Royal area had the best food overall, breakfasts, lunch, and dinners were amazing at this restaurant and all of the staff were amazing. Room service was also available but we did not use it. They made us a Mexican fiesta dinner one night which was awesome and we had a full seafood dinner another night which was also amazing. We did not swim in the beach area this time, but it looked very clean from the beach snack bar. Overall this was a great spot for our 5th anniversary and we did spend a day at Xcaret next to the resort which we also enjoyed very much.

Selection Riviera Cancun: Great Resort!

Good service, friendly staff, clean room, nice pools and restaurants. Always offering to serve drinks and quick service. No pressure to purchase a time share or purchase the prestige plan. Short transfer from the airport. Enjoyed our stay.
