Dreams Riviera Cancun: Amazing resort!

Everything about this resort was amazing - the service, the pool, the restaurants, the rooms, the staff. Adolfo, the bartender at the pool also took care of us all week with great service! Would definitely go back again!

Secrets The Vine Cancun: Always Amazing

This was our 5th stay at Secrets the Vine we return because of the amazing experience. You are greeted with a warm welcome and glass of bubbly when you arrive . The linear fireplace in the lobby is very inviting even in Mexico. The lobby is nicely appointed, welcoming and cozy. The rooms are nicely appointed functional, comfortable beds and a balcony to enjoy views of the ocean, sunrise and sunset. The staff in all area's are courteous, professional and caring they really do make it a great experience. We all have our favourites when it comes to food we find all the restaurants very good both food and service. Food choices are good we stayed 9 days and enjoyed dinning the entire stay. Room service menu's are also good should you choose that experience. There are three pools to sit around each has it's own feel and the beach is great too. Entertainment is quite enjoyable, the activity people are good. The resort is well maintained, very clean with great ambiance. There are many beautiful resorts to choose from in Cancun we choose to return to Secrets the Vine because of the experience, we have never been disappointed. It's also great to see the same staff with each return visit. Would recommend a stay at Secrets the Vine if you want to pamper yourself, we look forward to our next!

Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: LOVED THIS RESORT!

We didn't want to go to a huge resort where anywhere you need to get to requires a golf cart or 10 minute walk so this place was perfect. The beautiful beach was right outside the door along with a massive pool, excellent restaurants and fun and friendly night time bars. Our room was perfectly clean, although like everyone else states, a bit dated but if you don't mind that, then you will have a great stay. Perhaps a bit pricey but you know, it was well worth it for us not to worry about wifi and it was great having a fully stocked mini-fridge in the room. Everyone was very friendly and the bus to downtown was steps away. Tipping is very appreciated and we were well taken care of. Everyone at this resort works very hard to make your stay a great one. We would go back in a heartbeat. The water was warm and crystal clear. As for restaurants we really enjoyed the Shangri-La and the Pier but not so much the Old Barn. Just not for us. The buffet had a wide range of great food choices for everyone. We didn't eat at Sumo. Thank you Golden Parnassus for a great vacation!

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: 3 star

Great beach,staff,location,grounds. Basic rooms. Food so so. In 15 years of going to this resort I can say very little has changed. Same cushions on the chairs, same furniture in the rooms which are becoming very dated. Food quality has dropped dramatically.

Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Panama Jack staff are above all others!

In spite of the loss of the beach front this resort made up for it. The staff are excellent. Regardless of who you were, what you did, how much you tip or even if you didn't YOU were treated like you were someone special. You don't get that everywhere you go. There are so many staff, always bustling around busy busy busy. Yet never too busy to say hello and ask you how you were enjoying yourself. My only complaint is the standard rooms on the inside the hotel - now patio, no windows to out [... read more]side...not okay for a resort. So happy we were able to upgrade to a junior suite...thanks Panama Jack. Oh yes, the food...I am lucky to have been able to fit in the seat on the plane...excellent!

Riu Palace Pacifico: We really had a wonderful time.

The food was very good. The beach was beautiful and the ocean was the warmest we have ever experienced. The room and grounds were very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. All was perfect. If I was looking for a flaw, the only thing I can think of is that there were too many smokers who were smoking around the pool and hotel, they limited where we could sit at the pool and beach but that did not let us bother our great experience

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Amazing people

The hotel was beautiful and the time of year was amazing. The grounds were always clean and food was okay. Beach was rocky but love that they kept the Eco #1. Would recommend for any family with kids the water slides and kid zones were great

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Comfortable and safe resort

We have been to this resort a total of 18 times. My only complaint is with wifi. Should have in all rooms. Rooms are very clean and service is good. This resort appeals to all ethnic groups. When you are there. You feel very safe . Some staff remember you from previous visit and also is amazing that they remember your names. Very friendly.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: A pleasant resort

We had a junior suit which is actually a longer regular room. For two person I guess a regular room gives you the same comfort for less money. Pros: - the resort is clean, the room is clean and well maintained. - the air conditioning is not blowing toward the bed which for me is excellent. - the food is good everywhere but at the buffet is excellent, pay attention you get fatter in matter of days Cons: -the distance from beach to buffet is big and the shuttle system doesn't work properly [... read more]. Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Awesome Vacation

The Luxury Bahai Principe Akumel is an amazing resort. Upon arrival our rooms were ready to our delight the room was awesome. Every meal we had at the resort was of top quality the buffets left nothing for you to desire and the A La Cartes were top notch. Pools and beaches were clean and well serviced , next time I will bring some water shoes for walking on the beach. Great resort , we will return and would recommend.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Amazing Resort

This is our second time going to the Royalton Rivieria and we are already planning to return. Great staff, food, and evening shows! Only thing we weren't happy about was the pressure to attend the time share presentation. We were asked by 4 separate people about it despite telling them we did it the last time and were not interested.

Riu Emerald Bay: Wonderful vacation

Everything was well organised. I had problem anywhere throughout my trip. Resort fascilities was also very good. Ample choice of food were also there. Staff people were very cooperative and nice........

Barcelo Maya Palace: The best vacation!!

The hotel was very clean, the food was delicious and such a wide variety. The service was excellent. You have to go to the Brazillian restaurant. The BEST steak I've had in my life. Bring your snorkel because there's great snorkeling at the resort beach...including sea turtles!!

Iberostar Waves Quetzal: Exceeded my expectations

Hotel Iberostar Quetzal and hotel Tulum are separated by a jungle like setting, with paths winding thru rock, jungle and small waterfalls. Coati, iguanas everywhere, with howler monkeys passing over twice daily. (Or landing on your balcony!) The resort was immaculately kept everywhere, rooms were large with balconies and cleaning staff that were so friendly and accommodating! The beach was groomed daily, clearly making it the best for miles. There are 2 buffets (1 in Quetzal, 1 in Tulum, identic [... read more]al), featured food changed daily, simply amazing and never ran low even for late night dinners. I did not book an a la carte, the buffet had EVERYTHING! With 350 rooms this resort was the perfect size. In building 24 ground level, 1 min to pool, 2 min to beach, 1 min to nightly entertainment which were of high quality. My favorite still the quiet lounge at hotel entrance, the singing left me in awe. There is a quiet pool, the main wrap around pool with hourly entertainment at the far end, kids pool and the cold swim up pool. They even babysit/entertain your kids for a bit, unsure of details, just watched them having so much fun! If you are a smoker just tell them, you'll go to building where your neighbors won't hate you. Mostly it's the staff made my week the best ever, they were amazing. Hit Mexico over 30 times now, at least 20 were at resorts, never hit one a second time, until now, will definitely revisit Iberostar Queztal. Recommendations: Bring a few mx pesos or USD, (tips) don't use the ATM at front desk, you'll pay hard. Hit a bank ATM in Playa off 5th ave, (ATM on 5th ave more subject to breaches) go back, front desk great at breaking large bills to small for tips. Don't hit a bank use ATM. Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: Awesome Beach!

Good resort overall. While much of the resort is a bit run down and needs some repair the beach makes up for it - the best beach I've been to in Puerto Vallarta. The restaurants also are located on the beach with great views of the bay. Food quality was very good. Entertainment was just ok and entertainment staff were not as outgoing or inviting as I have found at other resorts. All other staff and service was excellent. Rooms were very spacious but beds not the most comfortable.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Had a great time

Rooms were very nice,beds comfortable. Grounds and pools were kept very clean. Lots of entertainment during the day. Service was top notch. Food was really good. Lazy river was a lot of fun. Will return

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Loved our time at Royalton Cancun!

The beach and turquoise clear waters were amazing...beds and rooms were superb....the food was sooo good, the best all-inclusive food i have experienced at the Marche. There is no need to go to the a-la-cartes as you can get cooked to order eggs, stir fry, pasta, steaks, chicken, seafood, everything. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our only concern/complaint is beach chairs - during american thanksgiving when the hotel was busy, we had to get up at 6am to claim a chair and spot on the [... read more] beach. Later in the week, at 7-7:30am. Not fun, but actually quite comical, all the guests up in the dark in their robes, setting their spots up, then back to bed until later. They need more chairs or a better system. All in all, a fabulous week and would go back in a heartbeat. Beautiful tasteful accommodations, great food, gorgeous sunsets and sunrises, beautiful beach for waking, aquafit classes were fun - all good.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: another fantastic week at the beautiful Sian Kaan

I can't imagine anyone having anything other than glowing reviews about this resort... the food, the staff, the rooms, the grounds... everything is wonderful! A couple of reminders when booking this resort so you know what to expect: - This is not a beach front resort... you need to take the internal trolley across the highway to access the area of the beach that is reserved for the Sian Kaan. - This resort is in the jungle... lots of lizards, birds, etc - Also, most areas around the pools a [... read more]re in the shade at some point each day due to the many lush/thick trees. - The Sian Kaan is small in comparison to the other resorts in this compound (we consider that to be a positive feature), if you are looking for a wild party resort... this is not the place for you. This was our 3rd visit and we were just as happy with everything this time and hope to return again next year!

Riu Emerald Bay: Not at all impressed with this last trip

Nice upgrades to the new family area. Major upgrades needed to the existing Riu Hotel. Many issues such as problems with elevators being closed, floods in the bathroom, toilets not working and they are overbooking the resort. We need to wait another week for a change if any. We were given the second floor with no view, The front desk said the problem is with the Travel agency not giving them the proper requests. This was not the case because I had a copy of our TripCentral reservations with deta [... read more]ils outlining our request. We were told they had overbooked sorry and no change at this time. Overall not at all impressed with the service received on this last vacation. I had read may trip advisor comments and really did not believe that this resort has lost its charm. I will not consider the Riu again as there are many others! The remaining staff around the grounds and pool bar and coffee bar truly are truly faithful and committed to making you stay as pleasurable as possible.

Occidental Cozumel: Beautiful, No Crowds and Totally Relaxing

Our experience at the Occidental Cozumel, Nov 29th - December 6th was exacting what we were looking for. the staff were constantly friendly and helpful. The room was clean, large and very comfortable. Our dining experiences were all positive whether at the buffet or restaurants...the seafood being our favorite. Easy access to diving and smaller size of the resort was perfect. We'll definitely be back.
