Riu Palace Pacifico: WONDERFUL VACATION AT THE RIU PALACE PACIFICO
The staff here were all fantastic, friendly and very helpful. Pool side & beach area always had plenty of shaded chairs, I wish there were more patio chairs for people with back issues. Be forewarned the concrete deck around the pool is very slippery when you are getting out of the pool. The Buffet never got boring, plenty of choices for all appetites (nice to see Gluten Free options). The Steak House was the most popular we had the Surf & Turf; cooked to perfection. Beds were comfortabl [... read more]
Riu Flamingos: Disappointed
We were told by our rep that the restaurants were going to remain opened until 11:30 pm, nothing was opened. No Room Service at all. No pool service had to get our own drinks Out 5 restaurants only one was opened for breakfast and then there was a break when nothing was opened. Restaurant for lunch opened at 1:00 pm Only allowed one towel per person at pool. Mini bar was refreshed every other day water was important and we call every day to get some. Entertainment finished a [... read more]
Riu Republica: Enjoyable vacation!
The beach was amazing. Very large and nice to walk on. The resort is huge. During the day, the entertainment only went to one pool so it wasn’t as engaging as other Riu resorts, but the staff were very friendly. There was great entertainment and it’s a good party resort. However if you’re not interested in partying, there are a lot of spots that are quiet and relaxing. Our room air conditioning wasn’t working when we got there. The air conditioning tech came within the hour and when it didn’t [... read more]
Riu Palace Riviera Maya: Beautiful resort all the way
It’s what we needed to relax and enjoy everyday to the fullest. The staff was so caring and attentive to our needs. The food was so delicious and plentiful. The room was 100% excellent. We will definitely recommend this resort to all of our friends.
Riu Palace Riviera Maya: A paradise of dreams come true
From the moment we arrived, our stay was 100% amazing. The entire staff a big 2 thumbs up. Would recommend this oasis to all our friends. The service top notch and the rooms very elegant and modern. A resort to visit.
Riu Palace Antillas: Amazing resort
Everything was wonderful, very good from the housekeeping, front desk staff, towel lady, pool staff (drinks, beach, pool). The steakhouse food was dellicious. Staff very courteous. Like a manager coming by at our table, to make sure everything was good. Really enjoyed the AV tour around the island. Highly recommend. Aruba is very expensive, but it is worth it. Planning to come back next year - will be our 3rd time to the island. The only complaint is when we went shopping in town and ord [... read more]
Riu Ocho Rios: The kids club is outstanding!
If you have children under the age of 10, you will want to come here for the kids club. My 2 girls aged 7&9, asked each day to go to Riuland(the kids club). You know it's great when they choose that over the beach! The staff were all very friendly and service was good. We had hoped the food would be better. There seemed to be a lack of sugar in their baked goods as if sugar was a hard thing to come by in the country? Also, traditional dishes like oxtail had no flavour. I've had better oxta [... read more]
Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Decent Resort
Grounds clean Specialty Restaurants difficult to book and food is mediocre. Buffet - lots of options but nothing special. Rooms - Great - keep an eye on your personal items everyday Entertainment - daily - okay, Night - usual AI parties, I enjoyed the silent party Beach - some seaweed, Windy most of the time, Water rough most of the time.
Riu Palace Aruba: Nice resort
The rooms are ok need some renovation. The AC woudnt stop working which was very loud. The food was good and many varieties. Need more umbrellas and shade on the beach and the pool. Service is amazing
Riu Emerald Bay: Good Resort
This resort is a great place to take your family. The pools are very clean and are not too full. They do a great job at cleaning the bathrooms and rooms. The food selection in the restaurants is also amazing.
Riu Palace Punta Cana: Beautiful Resort
Nothing bad to say about this resort --- staff very friendly; food excellent ( if you dislike the food here, then you have a problem ); rooms clean and bar fridge replenished daily; disregard the negative reviews;; this was our second time at this resort in as many years --- would definitely go back again;; can't go wrong with a Riu resort...only negative I have to say has nothing to do with the resort --- main pool --- people sitting on the stairs to pool entrance and many do not move and al [... read more]
Riu Palace Antillas: Wonderful vacation
Riu is top notch. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food is excellent, best we’ve had at any resort. Immaculate rooms and grounds. Close to airport. Weather perfect. Expect and prepare for wind. Not a drop of rain. Highly recommend.
Riu Palace Antillas: Excellent!
Beach ?Food ? / Service ? / Room? Entertainment ? and safety of Aruba outside the resort ? Water and sand was beautiful , You can take a long walk on the beach or there’s a cement walk way that runs along the other resorts next to the beach. Aruba is Fabulous!! Not a drop of rain the week we were there! ?
Riu Playa Blanca: 3 ?? Resort
Hotel was old, Rooms were outdated and room we were in broken doors and handles, upgraded to sea view was worth it, rooms and pacha-night club smelt bad probably due to a sewage blockage, Food was OK pretty much the same variety daily, Italian restaurant was good, Pools were not very clean, lots of glasses found in pools. Could not be in the sea shore for long due to the high tides and deep waters lots of stones need water shoes. Overall would give it a 3 ??.
Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Very nice resort
Very nice hotel, the food was good, the buffet had a great selection, the pool area had plenty of lounge chairs and the staff came around regularly to offer fresh towels in exchange for your wet ones. There is a mirror image of the pool area, one side had all the activities and the other side was calmer. Even though the ocean was rough, you could walk along the beach which can actually bring you right into town. We had sun every day, but the evenings did get a bit cooler, which was fine, you [... read more]
Riu Reggae: Amazing Fun Riu Resort
I had a great time at the Riu Reggae. Wonderful weather, loved the beach, a little rocky and rough sands but not much floating seaweed! Clean room, good food and an amazing entertainment team. My second time here and will come back!
Riu Santa Fe: Well kept resort
The resort is very well maintained. The staff work hard to keep it clean. The food was very good for the most part. We didn’t know it was American spring break and the resort got very loud and busy. The young adults woke us every night with their partying until all hours of the night and into next morning. Called security and they hung up on us several times. We complained to the front desk. Finally got moved to the Baja California, four sleepless nights in. Very nice resort but don’t go [... read more]
Riu Flamingos: Amazing resort
The resort is kept very clean. The grounds are immaculate and the bathroom by the pool/beach was cleaned after every use. Very impressed with that. There were a lot of chairs at the beach which was great no matter what time of day.
Riu Palace Antillas: Amazing time
The entire place was amazing. The alacarte restaurant system was crap but the choices at the buffet made up for it. The people and service were outstanding and make this place a 5 star. Trying to find a seat at the ocean or poolside is hard because people mark their spots early but the staff are quick to find you a spot.
Riu Palace Mexico: Our resort of choice in Mexico.
Great staff at all levels. A very impressive and clean facility.. Guests rooms are more than adequate. Beautiful sand and sea, pools and bars. Food at main buffet and pool side buffet.more than satisfactory.
