Riu Dunamar: Rio Dunamar was good! Sun Wing has no customer service!

Sun Wing has no empathy toward their client! No respect what so ever! Delayed over 1 full day departing. No explanation no excuse from Sun Wing staff! Return flight was the same, delayed, unable to get any information from Sun Wing! Only able to get AI answering the phone - runaround!!! Trying to get compensation from them - Mechanical issues so they don't have to pay, is their go to excuse!

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: RIU-PCM

It is a RIU 5 star establishment... but it is nowhere. It took 1-1/2 hour to get there and the same back to the airport. Everything is perfect all the services, food, beach etc. But next time I'll go to RIU Palace Maya Riviera. It is also 5 star. That is only 15 minutes walk to Playa del Carmen. Because of this I would not recommend this RIU...

Planet Hollywood Adult Scene Cancun by Royalton: Not what you think

We felt that the hotel Planet Hollywood is way too commercialized. If you are not want authenticity of the Mexico culture then this is the place for you. If you are thinking you are going to an ALL ADULTS resort then this is NOT the place for you. All the evening shows are kid orientated and all the activities and restaurants are also on the family side. Riu Latino: Nice new resort but food was ok

Family trip south and overall the resort was new, very clean, service was good. The beach was long and well managed with regular drink service on the beach which was rare. However service and restaurant were ok and tended not be restocked as half through the meal service. The specialty restaurant were mostly self service and food quality was ok. The gourmet Restaurant was terrible. Bad service but also they order was messed up.

Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: Older resort with amazing staff and excellent beach!

We stayed at the Golden Parnassus June 2 to June 9th of 2023. The staff at the Golden Parnassus were amazing and the food was excellent at all of the resort restaurants. The room we stayed in was older and a bit run down (1st floor) as were other parts of the resort but it was very clean and we could see that there were improvements and upgrades being done through out the resort. The best part of the stay for us was the pool and beach! The beach area was beautiful and there was very little se [... read more]aweed (sargassum) that is plaguing other areas of Mexico. I would recommend that you call the resort or your booking agent to get further information on the rooms and facilities, we found out later that other rooms on different floors had better amenities included and had we known we may have paid a bit extra to upgrade our accommodation. Overall it was a great vacation!

Sandos Cancun: Worst resort I’ve ever stayed at

1. Room smelt like feces. Like it was so disgusting they didn’t even want to switch our rooms until we made them come smell it themselves. 2. One bed when we asked for 2 3. No food after hours. They advertise 24/7 room service. This is a lie they will not answer your calls. 4. Alejandro is the most rude front desk staff of all time. If you see him just immediately ask for someone else unless you want to be disrespected and treated like shit. Guy clearly hates his job and his life. 5. There’s a minimum number of cabanas at the pool but the pool boys that work there put books or shoes on the beds to claim it and the guest have to bribe them with $20 USD to get a bed. Which is free they’re just assholes and money hungry. We caught on to their game and they didn’t like that. 7. Shower knob fell off 8. Wall is leaking 9. Bathroom is moldy in one of our 3 room 10. Staff came into our room while we’re half naked with the do not disturb sign on. Didn’t apologize. Not sure why they’re coming in when it shows we’re sleeping 11. Staff came into one room and took the towels off the rack and threw them on the floor… again do not disturb was on 12. Refuse to answer our calls 13. Bar tenders were super rude 14. They only help locals 15. 24 hour food service and 0 food service 16. Never give us water when we ask. Every 2 days we got some water if lucky 17. Power went out in one room 18. Senator Riviera Cancun Spa Resort: Amazing resort

Staff are super friendly and the resort is beautiful, nicely maintained with bars accessible everywhere :) Everything is walking distance and they have a coffee shop that is 24 hours ! Our kids felt safe and loved how large the kiddie pool was.

Moon Palace Cancun: This place was amazing!

Beautiful grounds! Excellent food! Staff was great! Amenities were fantastic! Standard room was on the smaller side but adequate. Lots of activities and entertainment for the young and old. Would definetly stay here again.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: New & spacious

Our stay was fantastic. I don’t know if it was the time of year (shoulder season) or what but we never had to wake up at the crack of dawn to reserve beach or pool chairs. This is the most annoying part of all inclusive resorts IMO, and this resort had plenty of lounge chairs at the five pools and all along the beach. To top it off you didn’t need to pay for shade in the several canopy areas. The beach was great for the kids as the waves were subtle and the water was clear. The entire h [... read more]otel was modern & new, food was fantastic. The grounds keepers & cleaners were constantly working to keep the place top notch every day. Staff everywhere were very friendly. Highly recommend this for family vacation. The only complaint we had was the rooms with two beds were not queens but rather double beds. A little tight for a family of four but we made due. They do offer a cot style bed but we didn’t bother with it.

Great resort with wonderful amenities. Amazing international buffet. Spacious rooms, nice staff Walking distance to the most gorgeous beach. Great entertainment. The most clean resort we have ever been to. Many swimming pools to enjoy.

The 2 beds in the room were small twins. we were told double beds, so we needed a sofa bed to accommodate for 3 people in a room. Also needed a divider between the bathroom and the beds in front of the bathtub .

Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: Loved our resort

We had to switch rooms 3 x. First room ac wouldn't lower so too hot 2nd room leak in roof onto bed. 3rd room fine. They accommodated us quickly. Sometimes key cards wouldn't work. But I would still stay here again. The only resort I would ever say yes I will come back again. Staff so nice.clean facilities. Food good. Everything in walking distance. Loved it.

Secrets The Vine Cancun: Wonderful vacation

Resort is great for those who want relaxation and to chill out. Adults only. The music by the activities pool was not that loud and somewhat subdued. Mainly couples, and some friends/family/corporate/wedding groups. The various live performers each evening were amazing. The food overall good to very good. No reservations required and never had to wait if you go at their opening times. The service all around excellent. The 3 pools were 4'6" depth which is perfect to practise to swim. To get  [... read more]a chair with an umbrella you should go down somewhat earlier but they caution to not leave unattended for more than 90 minutes. Rooms were well supplied. Odd numbered rooms in general more quieter (unless there is outside entertainment) as even numbered rooms faced the hotel AC fans blowing so you can hear them mildly all day and night running. I loved their app to know about the resort, restaurant menus and daily activities

Secrets The Vine Cancun: Review

Smaller, boutique resort. Very good staff, food was excellent, rooms were quite spacious, some of the items in room were a bit older and worn (such as hairdryer etc.) beach was lovely and could be viewed from balcony or pool. Night activities at the resort were also very good and had excellent live music!

TRS Coral: Great hotel on a wonderful beach

Our last visit was pre-Covid, the hotel grounds have exploded, but are manicured and being maintained. The overgrowth is being replaced with new plantings and couldn't give a better feel or aesthetic. The rooms have not changed, are starting to show some very minor wear and tear. We had a swim out, pool side and one piece of the decking fell away ( likely due to previous guests having lots of fun on the edge of the deck) a call to the butler was all it took and within minutes maintenance was  [... read more]there to complete the repair. My only criticism is that the drink service promissed at reception for our room, was mostly lacking. We had a difficult time flagging down the poolside servers. So, I'm not sure if that was an oversight on managments part, to communicate to the staff the need to service the few occupied pool side swim out rooms. During our week stay there were only 5 swim up rooms occupied from what we could see. Since this was a room we requested, but did not recieve upon arrival. We did have to pay a rather heafty premium to get the benefits of this room. Butler service was included in the pricing and we had the privilage of having Fernano and Carlos take excellent care of us. The turndown service was very nice. All the staff working in the restaurants were excellent. The SPA is amazing, a definite treat to have had a massage and endulge in the hydrotherapy. The beach was very clean, lots of sand and the water was lovely. The hotel offers a beach bar, with servers. They all work very hard and appear genuine when saying "its a pleasure" when you thank them. The towels are always plentiful and you can refresh without issue any time during the day. Premium , top shelf, liquour at the bars. Wine was not great, and the restaurants have what should be better options for purchase; however I found they were too pricy for me personally. Good wine comes in all price categories and TRS definitely has a focus on the higher end wines. I have a very specific allergy and they were most helpful in offering me suitable options. I would not hesitate to return to TRS Coral. You actually do get treated royally there!

Riu Latino: Very nice, clean, and fun resort

The hotel rooms were spacious, we had partial ocean view, 2nd floor. It was clean and had a liquor cabinet and restocked beer and beverage mini fridge. The second night, they put rose pedals all over the bed and floor, it was a nice surprise. The staff were all very friendly! All of the bars were clean and the staff were happy to be there. Coffee and food were also great. There were a lot of food options.

Riu Latino: Amazing Resort

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at will look at more Riu hotels in future! Attentive staff Great food so much to choose from Lots of pools great beach & You have to check out the spa Highly recommend

Occidental Tucancun: Beautiful

When we arrived we are amazed by the view and atmosphere of the lobby,the room is clean and comfortable. The food’s and services are very good,your staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a good selection of food and drinks and we have plenty of snacks to eat. The place is perfect for the family and the mall is just nearby and we have a wonderful staycation in your place.

Riu Palace Peninsula: Very nice Hotel

Very Nice Hotel, big rooms with big balcony area, but the air conditioning is like you are in winter inside the room,room clean is everyday, several pools for all, a lot of entertainment there, BBQ in pool areas, good food, restaurant are good, I didn't like much the Japanese Restaurant, but this is me, coffee area is excellent I enjoyed it, and the 24 hrs Sport Bar too, hamacas section is nice too. Staff is good but many times service is just for tips, so be sure sure to tip to get good service, reception people do their job but many problems with magnetic cards that allow you to open your room so you go many times to reception to get another magnetic card, is anoying. Licking water inside the room often but they send technician, night shows are just music, only one day was really a good show, so a little noisy at night because of party people, I was expecting more shows, one small souvenirs store and a nice jewerly store, if you stay in this hotel you have access and eat at other Riu Hotels in Cancun and even you can ask to stay in other Riu Hotels if you want so is excellent option, you can order your breakfast to your room at no extra charges is you got the all included option, you can bring your plate with food from buffet to your room in case you want to eat in your room. All kind of beverage, so all options for drinking, this Hotel is for party people mainly, if you go Solo or you are quite person go for Villas option. Only 10 minutes by any Bus 12 Mex pesos to Shopping Mall Puerto Cancun with all brands and many boutiques from Spain, Cancun Downtown, Mercado 28 to buy artisan, La Isla, Kuiulkam Mall, Selecto supermarket very nice, other small malls and stores, and Cocobongo and others, location of the hotel is perfect if you want to walk and go shopping, only 30 minutes from Airport if no traffic. Staff speak English so no problem with this. I booked with Trip Central and everything was OK. In general good experience, I can go there again and also try other Riu Hotel, they have excelent options.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Okay

The rooms were beautiful, i think having an oceanview really made the package, the AC in the room was a little off though and it wasnt super cold in the room all the time which is usually what you want. the buffet food was okay for breakfast and lunch, having all the little extra snackbars around the resort is really nice and we absolutely loved the french restaurant that was on the resort and the waiter Erik.
