Secrets Huatulco: Tranquil and Beautiful Adult Only Resort

The Secrets property in Huatulco is absolutely gorgeous! Our stay was wonderful - pleasant, accommodating staff, good food, room service and an absolutely beautiful location. The resort is a little remote, but was perfect for a nice relaxing week away.

Meigas Binniguenda: Fantastic holiday at an amazing hotel!

Binniguenda was by far one of our favourite hotels in our travels! The hotel and grounds are beautiful, the staff warm and friendly and the authentic Mexican food was delicious! The nightly entertainment was amazing, truly talented dancers! We loved the smaller, intimate feeling of this hotel-truly a relaxing vacation. The beach is only a short walk away and though it is shared with another hotel, it does not feel overcrowded. Las Brisas Huatulco: great resort

We loved the hotel, resort and hualtulco in general. Great destination for your money. Beautiful scenery. Small town feel with no big box stores or restaurants. Nice people, helpful staff and friendly.

Secrets Huatulco: Good, But Not As Good As Other Secrets

My wife and I stayed at Secrets Huatulco in late January 2014, but I'm just writing a review now. On the plus side, the food was good, the beach was lovely and the resort was clean. The service was not up to what he enjoyed at the same chain's destinations in Puerto Vallarta and Montego Bay. It may be because the resort and tourist area are still relatively new, but everything was pretty haphazard. There can be a lot of walking in this resort, important for those who have leg issues. Although th [... read more]e food was good, there were lots of mix-ups in the restaurants. It can be a challenge finding an unoccupied pool chair sometimes, as people leave towels draped over them and disappear for hours or forever. A note about the climate in January - it's the dry season in Huatulco, so even though the resort is lush and well-kept, the foliage everywhere else is brown and unappealing. We enjoyed our stay, but wouldn't go back and would pick another Secrets instead.

Barcelo Huatulco: Good value for price

Rooms are dated but clean and comfortable. Grounds are well kept. Food is good. Staff friendly. Beach is clean & nice but watch the undertow with small kids or non-swimmers. Close to fantastic small town for safe real Mexican experience. Book boat tours on beach for whale watching, fishing, turtle spotting, snorkelling all in one.

Dreams Huatulco: Beautiful resort

Service was great! Drinks were a little inconsistent, food was pretty good. Only negative, aggressive sales people pushing the Dreams Club(whatever it's called). The resort layout was awesome, everything was close. I'm not sure upgrading to the preferred club was worth it. No wristbands or towel cards were nice too.

Secrets Huatulco: Fantastic on all fronts and wonderful location.

Best resort I have been to. Staff were great. Restaurants were varied and some had fantastic views. Nice beach. Would definitely return. Bars were also very convenient. Entertainment was the only thing thgat was not of high quality.

Dreams Huatulco: Wonderful vacation

We stayed at the dreams huatulco January 2014! The resort is beautifully designed and easy to understand. Loved- the room, gorgeous infinity pools, view of the ocean, no reservations required at the restaurant, quick cab ride to a large town,spa was amazing. You did not need towel cards...you could just replace your towel as needed. There was amazing staff that brought you beverages to your pool lounge chair! Our room looked like it had been renovated and we had consistent maid service. Disliked [... read more]- the evening shows they were low budget and really needed work. We would definitely go again..in fact we are planning a trip in December with some friends.

Dreams Huatulco: Outstanding resort!

We had an excellent experience at Dreams Huatulco, from restaurants, to rooms, to pools, to beach....staff was very courtous and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Met some great people and enjoyed paradise for 1 week!
