Dreams Huatulco: Dreams Hautulco is a Dream!
First let me say that Dreams Huatulco is one of the most beautiful resorts I’ve ever stayed in! Tangolunda Bay is gorgeous. The resort was beautiful and very very clean thanks to the constant efforts of the cleaning staff! The service in all of the restaurants was remarkable! Pleasant and very helpful!! The servers were amazing…… Fast and happy despite the brutal heat, it didn’t matter where you picked to sit, there was always someone to make sure you had all you needed. I need [... read more]
Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Great family resort
My fiance and I came to Iberostar early November for a week getaway. The staff was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We spent most of our time at the beach and the main pool. The beach was beautiful and well maintained - you will have to swim atop corals to swim and float at the beach, beware of jelly fish as we both got stung. The entertainment crew was great and fun through the day from entertaining beach volleyball and games to pool activities. The resort is big as well so you a [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Beautiful resort
The beach is small and checkin/chexkout is slow but other then that, everything about the resort was perfect. The rooms were nice, the food was amazing and the service was fast. The excursions were pricey like every other destination but you can get a taxi yourself to go where ever you want to go.
TRS Coral: Beautiful Resort
Staff are absolutely fabulous and go out of their way for you. Tip well!!! The rooms are amazing - issue you can't book your room of choice - I.e. swim up in the sun near pool - luck of draw and some room locations not ideal. Food presentation good but not hot. Avoid Mexican and Spanish restaurant completely. Beach beautiful - non motorized sports 30 minutes only or charged. Es Nui great for lunch. Resort is very quiet - we like livelier. The star show Chic absolutely fabulous.
The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Amazing vacation
Hotel was beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Letty and Jose! Food was good. Beach was amazing! Room was fine except the shower leaked out onto the tile floor. Having access to room service was great! I'll definitely go back!
Riu Emerald Bay: Fantastic Destination
After many southern vacations we have found a beautiful resort to vacation at, this ended up being my 4th time to Riu Emerald Bay in Mazatlan, Mexico. The hotel has just completed a large renovation and my daughter and I got rooms in the new part of the hotel. They added new pools including a new swim up bar, new restaurants, a small water park and play area, a work out area, another towel hut and many new washrooms. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, the food is good with many cho [... read more]
El Dorado Seaside Suites: A side for almost everyone!
The Eldorado Seaside Suites hotel area is made up of 3 resorts, El Dorado Seaside Suites (a 2 building complex with an infinity pool on each of the 6 floors), Hidden beach (A nudist area, in the middle for some reason) and Sensimar, a quieter complex covering a larger amount of area but with multiple 2 story buildings. The Seaside Suites area offers great views, and a more modern room layout, the rooms had plenty of space, comfortable beds and a great view of the ocean. However with the main [... read more]
Barcelo Maya Colonial: Awesome resort
It was awesome! Only thing I would say is that internet not available only if you pay, which for a 5 star resort I feel you should give for free, I have been to other resorts also 5 stars and had internet for free throughout the entire resort, even in our room! But everything else was awesome! I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I definitely will be back!
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Baha'I Principe Coba
Resort was very nice.Service was good.Entertainment by the pool was very enjoyable. The staff were very friendly.Especially the workers who drove the shuttles. The entertainment in the evening was very good.Adding a Sports Bar to the resort was a great place to spend time in the evening.Games and watching sports.
Las Brisas Huatulco: Great resort for snorkeling
Huge resort with 50% Canadians and Mexican nationals alike. The bay had 4 beaches, 3 which were able to lay by the beach and swim in. One of the beaches had a reef right off the sand which had even better snorkeling than the tour we did. The food was alright. We preferred the buffet compared to the a la carte restaurants as it had more selection. The seafood was excellent. Desserts were nothing to rave about. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, Huatulco is the place. Much quieter [... read more]
Barcelo Huatulco: Second visit, lovely vacation!
This was our second stay at Huatulco Barcelo, and was very nice. We upgraded to the Premium level, and appreciated access to the private air condition lounge with bartender and TV, and the priority booking of restaurants. Enjoyed food in the buffet and al a cart restaurants. Room was lovely.
Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Jungle and fun
2nd visit. Eco-Superior family room. Hotel is a good place to explore and enjoy with the family in general. Animals abound, Coaties, Monkeys, birds all provide fun things to see. The Cenotes are nice. Kids club and waterpark are decent. The Beach is fine for Mexico. If it's rainy there is not much to do as most of the resort is outdoors or open air. Our ground floor room flooded a bit because of a night of rain. Annoying but the front desk moved our family the next day which is good. Unfortunate [... read more]
Ocean Riviera Paradise: Fantastic resort for families with young children
Our family of five (kids aged 6, 4, 1) had a fantastic time at the Ocean Riviera Paradise. In reading other reviews, many people commented on the smell in the rooms. I did notice a damp smell on arrival, but it is a humid area and it didn’t bother us. After a few hours we didn’t even notice it anymore. Our room was in the Daisy building. We went for a room at the back of the building to avoid the noise in front of the pool, but if I had it to do over I would choose pool side. The “ [... read more]
Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great Resort!
The resort was great. It was my first time and definitely would come back. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room was perfect, comfortable bed. Lots of different restaurants to eat at. Great pool and splash area for children. My granddaughter loved it. The resort was very clean. The beach was also amazing. My granddaughter enjoyed the spider monkeys running around and the coati mundi. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone.
Canto Del Sol: Nice resort
Our family of 7 including a 7 yr. Old stayed at CDS Nov 25 to Dec 2nd. Grounds, rooms, pools, restaurants were extremely clean. Not much of a beach but pretty views from our room. Food was excellent especially surf and turf and Italiian. Resort does fill up on weekends with Mexicans but did not affect service other than at breakfast. Long line ups. So go for breakfast at 7 and avoid it. Only one complaint. The quiet pool should be adults only as only place to get away from crowded family pool. [... read more]
Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Fantastic Resort
Everything was amazing! Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. There grounds were well kept and beautiful! They offered plenty activities within the resort. It's like it's own little town. Very safe, and beautiful a wildlife in the resort
GR Solaris Caribe Adults Only: Beautiful beach!
Nice resort with modern rooms...great customer service...beach was the best part! Food was decent at ala cartes although I did get food poisoning. Dinner buffet looked unappealing so we didnt eat at it. Grounds were hard to navigate...lots of stairs and ramps...a bit dangerous if not paying attention to each step you took.
El Dorado Seaside Suites: Not impressed!
Would not go back! For a hotel with a lot of experience this misses the mark on so many levels. It had a choice of several restaurants but you had to book at least two days in advance and even then you could not get in. In walking past the restaurants they were never full and it looked like they did have adequate staff to wait on customers. I did not travel 3500 miles to eat buffet food! The hotel room service was sporadic, there was never a day when you had complete towel service. The [... read more]
Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: Great Location, Amazing Beach!!
Went to this resort for my brothers Birthday celebration. The resort had a lot of families and couples. The beach was amazing clear blue water and white sand beach. The sports bar had redzone to watch football. The night club was never busy, not a lot of people went there. It is totally worth it to go premium club as you get access to the 8th floor premium club and better access to premium alcohol like crown royal at every bar you go to.
Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Paradisus la perla excellent stay.
We just finished a stay at the Paradisus la perla. The hotel was clean and well kept, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Hotel seems some what if a maze but you do get use to it. This hotel does have a family side that is in close proximity but this was not an issue. Great stay ....
