Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Amazing resort

Great service, very good food,got peanut butter and jam,very nice beach and lots of huts,could used more unberlla at the pool, nice staff and clean rooms over all would go back .could see me staying two week.

Riu Republica: Nice hotel

Lots of beach and pool chairs any time of day, wish there was more alacart restaurants instead of buffets, rooms are nice but if your shy the shower stall is see through glass looking out to the room big resort lots of walking

Ocean Blue and Sand: Rated C

Check in was suppose to be for 3pm..we arrived at the resort around 4:30 only to be told our room was not ready. The receptionists made it sound that we may be transferred to another hotel because they were overbooked. Our room was ready for 6pm. then we check that our sheets had blood stains on them. They were not cleaned. we waited about 45 minutes for the maid to delivery sheet. We did not get to bed till around 1:30 a.m that night. No impressed. Resort was clean. Food was good. On day [... read more] 5, the maid forgot to replenish our towels when we got to our room from the pool, we had no towels....again not impressed. We requested garden view or ocean view, but instead our view was a concrete wall, we couldn't sit out on our balcony.....again not impressed. I've been to much better resort. From 1 to 10 I would rate this a 5. Would I be going back probably not. would I refer this resort to someone else...probably not. I've been to many resorts in Mexico, Jamica and loved them all. This is my first time going to the dominican, I would definately be going back but not to Ocean Blue Resort

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Absolutely amazing resort!!

This was our second vacation at this resort, we were not disappointed..... even better second time around. The food was awesome, staff were very helpful and friendly, the grounds are just beautiful and well kept. Great bang for your buck!! We will definitely return to this resort again.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Awesome family holiday at OBS

We spent 2 weeks at Ocean Blue and Sand and we had an amazing time. Everything​ was great, room was beautiful, very clean updated, drinks, towels were stocked daily. Great housekeeper we had, she went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. The food was outstanding, so much to choose from. Beautiful pools and very clean. Grounds at OBS are beautiful, the staff works very hard at their jobs. Bartenders are fast and friendly, this resort certainly is a 5* and I will recommend it anyone.

Occidental Punta Cana: Lovely Place

My review is I loved being at this resort. However, when we first arrived I had no air conditioning in my room. I had requested it be fixed several times with no luck they didn't seem overly concerned so I spent two of the seven nights without air then I was switched to another room because I insisted they didn't offer. Once we were settled in our new room it was amazing. Great place to take the family, lovely service (except front desk), very clean, safe and fun!

Vista Sol Punta Cana: Beautiful Resort

The grounds were very well maintained and all public washrooms were kept very clean and tidy. Our room was well looked after never a problem getting towels or anything else if I needed it and request it, the staff in the buffet worked really hard too look after everyone and kept tables clean. The specialty restaurants could upgrade the food. The wine that they served was terrible and most people didn't drink it I saw a lot of it left on the tables so this should be addressed. Overall it was a nice resort and could be better if they were to get a little better with food and wine. The staff at this resort are nice and friendly and work hard. They deserve and A++.

Caribe Deluxe Princess: Caribe Club Princess Resort Punta Cana

We choose this resort for the beach and it was amazing. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The service was great. From housekeeping, reception , serving staff, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food was good. Always a variety. Our favourite was the pasta bar! The grounds were beautiful and very well kept. We would definitely go back to this resort. One thing that could be improved is perhaps more chairs at the beach. Riu Palace Punta Cana: Excellent resort

Hand down the best resort ive been to in the Dominican Republic. The buffet had a great selection of foods for all Entertainment and staff were very friendly and entertaining . I would highly recommend RIU to all my friends and family

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Truly a five star experience!!!

They foliage and flora are breathe taking. The dining experience was the best !! Amazing food selection, delicious fresh food. The a la cartes were Five Star!!! Beach was kept spotless. Pools and faculties monitored and vey clean. Hotel staff very courteous and efficient. Amazing experience, will be returning in the future.

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Beautiful resort!

Because the site and the temperature were very good, we were able to enjoy the pool, the beach(very nice), the different activities during the days and nights and also enjoy our quiet time(the room was nice and modern).

Occidental Caribe: Great time

Hotel was a little old but in excellant condition. food was very good for resort food. Ala cartes were excellant. Beach was amazing. Lots of activities and things to do for all ages. Would definately return

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Great variety

This resort had a great variety of things to do. The beach was truely amazing as well, I decided to venture in either direction off the resort along the beach, there was no issue with safety among the locals in one direction or other resorts in the other.be a bit aware there is time share people at this resort.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Mixed emotions

Enjoyed my stay except for first day my first day was a total loss as I spent my time getting my rooms adjusting my rooms and changing my room they gave us our rooms at 5 and 6 and gave us king instead of two doubles and then told us they could not change as they were fully booked after we got rectified at four the next day it was a great holiday I have stayed there 3 yrs in a row and this was my first bad experience

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: Fantastic Resort

My husband and I had an excellent vacation at this resort. - service throughout the resort was fantastic. - the resort was very clean. - we loved the food and drinks. - the entertainment team did an excellent job. - lively and fun time - the staff are very hard working. We were happy to tip the employees. - comfortable beds We will definitely return to this resort.

Catalonia Royal Bavaro: Black ocean, beautiful resort

Good: beautiful and peaceful, food, cat sailing, swimming, snorkeling, ambience around pools, lots of sun, beautifully groomed flowers and shrubs and lawns, evening music, natural fruit drinks, no crowds, fast service in restaurants, clean rooms, only 4 mosquitos over 1 week. Bad: ocean colored black, some food, language barrier with staff Ocean was 80% colored black and grey with 20% green spots . It was Very disappointing how many weeds there were in the ocean. By comparison the ocean at R [... read more]io palace Macao was mostly a beautiful green color. Staff removed large amounts of sea weed from beach every day. If beach/ocean view is your most important criteria you won't like this place; otherwise it was a very beautiful resort. Food, depends on what you choose some was poor (pork was always tougher than leather, steak at steak house in family resort next door) and some food was excellent (salmon, chicken, pizza, vegetables, fruit). Natural fruit drinks made on beach, ma loo drink is made from pineapple, banana, oranges and ice; was delicious. Swimming was good but the area you can swim in was small due to so many weeds, but there were no waves so you could swim. Adults only resort was peaceful with small crowds. By comparison the family resort beside us was very crowded and noisy. Snorkeling was good (don't expect coral reefs that you see on tv) due to very low waves, abundant weeds and rocks, there was living coral (20% alive) though with 1 star fish, 1 conch shell, sea urchins, lots of small and large colorful fish. Cat Sailing can be done every day since the water is more flat for a much larger distance off shore and there is always plenty of wind. There are lots of obstructions in the ocean which make cat sailing more difficult but you can sail right over most of the rocks and shallow areas since the rudder pops up and you just push the rudder back down quickly and continue sailing. Some hidden rocks are dangerous but your fine if you watch for them. By comparison Rio palace Macao had such strong winds and waves you could only sail half of the days. As you sail at least 1km away you see more areas of green water and less black ocean.

Occidental Caribe: Great Location

The hotel has been our selection in Punta Cana for several years. It is not the fanciest but is comfortable. The airport security has sicken us of ever returning to Punta Cana as items were stolen from my bag and then we were searched!

Iberostar Waves Punta Cana: Iberstor Punta Cana

The big benefit was the room close to the pooland the beach (no long walk or buggy ride !) For the cost and the perceived reputation ar Iberostar I expected a more "holiday" room versus a very basic room. There were no problems with the room but I was disappointed in the warm of the room. I wouln't discourage anyone from going there but I will fine something different the next time for myself. Happy with the foof and food service. Victor

Occidental Caribe: Beautiful property

The hotel was well situated which is why we chose it, the grounds were always well kept and clean, The food was great. The beach was one of the best in the area with little to no seaweed. The hotel staff gave us the feeling of entitlement, never went out of their way for anything you asked for or needed. 3 times in a week towels were forgotten, every day at the buffet, cutlery, water, coffee was a commodity and best retrieved at the bar before going in to sit down.
