Playa Pesquero: Amazing resort!!

The only criticism I have is to work on the service at the Mediterranean a lactate restaurant. The pool bar was amazing and the service at the beach was surprisingly fast and the guys that setup the sail boats and peddle boats were great.

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: 5 * resort ??? NOT

Well we came back from this resort Friday , this was my second time in Cuba , I’ve been too 4 stars before travelled DR dozen times , Jamaica twice .. We went with a couple who went last year , they were surprised at the changed ...We aren’t fussy eaters but do expect hot food ..Pros ... beautiful resort pool area , loungers , rooms ,staff .. always had hot water ....Cons... We’d be at buffet early .. breakfast, one toaster , line up omelette delicious but short staff, lunch warm fries  [... read more]food cold , from pasta too anything cooked, The buffet chairs were cloth fabric were filthy , we were fortunate to do a la carte restaurants .Italian was our favourite.. Beach area not seaweed, everywhere. Would we go back likely not .

Gran Muthu Imperial: Amazing Resort amazing people

I love everything about this Resort. The people made it very welcoming. The food was good especially for Cuba the rooms were clean. I'm actually planning my second trip back. I've never repeated a trip the same Resort before so this will be my first. Also be sure to tip your entertainment team as almost everybody makes tips except them

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Very good resort

The room was spacious, poolside amazing, place spots to have a drink or a meal . Beautiful beach . People all nice and very helpful. There was a lot of food, big choice off fish, many fruits and vegetables

Playa Pesquero: a very bright, friendly and welcoming resort

I enjoyed my stay here very much; all staff members were very friendly and helpful and made you feel welcomed & our housekeeping lady was an absolute doll (& all airline staff were wonderful too); the resort was very lovely and the grounds were well kept & the pool & beach was a great place to relax; the food was good but because there was such a huge selection I found it a little overwhelming and the line-ups long & slow but other than that I had a great time & hopefully will be able to visit  [... read more]again & Thank you

Gran Muthu Imperial: Great Resort

The only negative feedback is the lighting of paths in the evening. They could also make sure to have the washrooms stocked with toilet paper being a 5 star resort. Overall great place to visit!! Looking forward to coming back 😊

Hotel Mojito: excellent holiday at Mojito

all was very good except for a lack of washrooms around pools- rooms & grounds very well kept staff very friendly-good activities for our grand kids -food was good breakfast especially-fruit was somewhat scarce

Melia Jardines del Rey: Good Resort!

Grounds are lovely. Standard rooms do need some updating. Our toilet wouid not flush properly. Beds are not clean and have a musty smell. My bedsheets had a stain for the whole week, so they were never changed. Pillows and bed are stiff and uncomfortable. The beach is gorgeous and the food is not bad. There is something for everyone. Entertainment was great. I wouid go to this resort again with my family, possibly next year.

Gran Muthu Cayo Santa Maria: Awesome resort!

Just came back from this resort. We loved everything about it. The staff, location, service, food were amazing! Weather was not great, but it’s their winter so nothing to complain about. We will be coming back again next year.

Valentin Perla Blanca: Great Resort

Really enjoyed the resort and all it had to offer rooms clean staff really friendly surroundings pleasant all in all an enjoyable week was had by all weather good pools lovely great beaches good service. Internet weak.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Memories Flamenco Cayaco

Our hotel was lovely .. the main bar was the star.. our hotel room was good with hot running water and we had our ocean view . Towels and bedding were changed regularly. We had beach towels ever day. Food was plenty - full with buffet and you could wait while they cooked fresh fish, chicken and beef... lots of salads, rice and potato dishes ... plenty of desert interests. Also three other Restaurants To choose from. Please remember this is Cuba they do their very best with their supplies..  [... read more] The beach and water so so excellent. Lots of chairs and places to sit and enjoy .. The Staff excellent? And of course a bit of tipping goes the extra mile... I recommend this resort. My Family husband , 27 year old son, 25 year old daughter and grand daughter 6 had a very nice week. Cheers

Gran Muthu Imperial: Beautiful vacation spot

5th time in Cuba, 2nd in Cayo Coco. Rooms were nice & clean, air conditioning was great for relief from the heat. entertaining team was A+, food was good, resort lay-out was great. Only complaint was the challenge to get new water bottles or to have water bottles filled without asking or issue. Quick 40 min bus ride from the airport. 6 min drive to beautiful Pilar beach for a day trip. Will return.

Melia Marina Varadero: Amazing Beach

We are bringing back the beach with us. How wonderful to see your toes in the water up to your shoulders. Aqua water with white sand. ❤️❤️❤️ The food is ok but over expect. The staff is excellent don’t forget to tip 😉

Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Fantastic Vacation

We just returned from Club Amigo and I must say, Cuba is in a very bad spot these days but despite all that, we had amazing service. We had A/C in our room for sleeping, we had cold drinks and we had sun! What more could we ask for! The food is very rationed but they did their best to accommodate everyone, we certainly didn’t starve and the à la Carte restaurants were definitely worth booking. We don’t go to Cuba for the amenities and because of that, we had a wonderful week.

Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Beautiful new resort. Amazing beach!

The hotel was beautiful and the staff very nice. The beachfront was amazing! My only complaint was the food. Even for Cuba standards it was awful. They need to have more vegetables at the pasta bar and lots of fresh fruit

Memories Paraiso: Poor resort

This hotel is in need of many repairs to the rooms the pool area and general maintenance. The food selection wasn’t great. They certainly don’t practice food safety when preparing food. The staff were lovely with the exception of the man who refilled the room fridge. He was rude and stingy. The beach was beautiful. I would not recommend staying at this resort.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Fantastic resort

This hotel was an older resort but it was kept very clean, and well maintained. The workers were Constantly cleaning and upgrading, example, new walkway to beach. The servers were great. Always going around refreshing your drinks. Variety of food was great. Always something to eat. Beautiful grounds. Highly recommend this resort. Beaches were absolutely amazing. Great snorkeling

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: The good , the bad, and the scary

We spent two weeks at this resort. First time in Cuba. Probably the last. We arrived at the resort at 11:45pm. No one to help with luggage. Told to go out the door and turn left. That's it. Very, VERY little lighting. Couldn't have read map without cell phone light. Third floor walk up. Big challenge with a very bad back like mine. Everybody knows food in Cuba is not that good. Creole a la carte was very good. Poolside snack bar was ok. Hamburger, hot dog, chicken sandwich all ok. Two beach side bars, poolside bar and snack bar all NO ICE!!! Ridiculous that you can't get a cold drink at a resort that averages 30-35C every day. Beds... Mattress was old steel spring style. No cushion top. Worst bed I have ever seen in a hotel. Shower was a joke. Shot all over the place. We had hot water every day. Others did not. Bring at least one flashlight for every person. Worst lighting I have ever experienced. The beach... Most beautiful beach I've ever been on. Beautiful sand. Goes for miles. STUNNING!!! Fantastic water for swimming. Warm, clear, fantastic colours as you look out from your chair. Lots of palapa's for shade. Tons of lounge chairs and friendly guys to help you out. Big pools. Pool was always clean but pretty chilly. Lots of room. Lots of games from the entertainment staff. Staff overall were great. Friendly and helpful. Most spoke English very well. Overall... Great beach. Beautiful water. Stunning scenery. Warm and friendly people. Fantastic weather. Two weeks. Not a drop of rain. BUT... Food is awful. Place is run down even though it is only eight years old. It looks twenty plus.

Sol Varadero Beach: Mostly great

The renovated resort is very clean and the rooms are lovely. We were upgraded to the Superior building, because we were return guests. Had an issue with a smell in the room the first two nights, and was told by reception that the hotel was full and to keep coming back to check in the afternoon. I went searching for the Tour operator rep to see if she could help, and ironically ran into the Customer Service Manager, and she was the absolute best, and had a new room for us that afternoon!  [... read more]The staff are extremely friendly, and work long hours, but still show up with a smile each and every day. The buffet was a little better than average for Cuba, but expect the normal issues of repetition, and running out of items. The ala cartes were good, our fav was the Italian. The beach is beautiful as always, with lots of palapas for shade, but no shade at the pool at all. The entertainment was excellent, each night performances in different areas of the resort, which we found refreshing over the typical shows experienced in all inclusive before. I would def recommend this resort. As long as you are aware of the common issues Cuba experiences with getting supplies, and controls by the government, which are usually beyond the control of resort management, you will not be disappointed.

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Lovely Resort!

My daughter and I really enjoyed our time at Ocean Casa del Mar. Staff were wonderful and tried hard to make our stay happy and comfortable. The beach crew is amazing! Kudos to the beach bar staff and beach grill cooks! The front desk and customer service staff were exceptional and took care of all our needs and special requests. The beach is simply gorgeous! We didn’t spend much time at the pool but there was daily entertainment as well as music and animation. Would definitely go back.
