Now Garden Punta Cana: Now Garden

My wife and I traveled to Punta Cana at the end of March. The Hotel , food , staff were great the beach was second to none. Now that being said we did something we would never do twice ( Parasailing) we booked our trip through one of the hotel staff J.J he told us he had a guy. JJ was a nice guy so we paid him the $100.00 US dollars. On the boat as we were getting ready one of the hands said for 50.00 he would give us a disc with 45 pictures of our experience. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great resort

We enjoyed our week thanks ro our travel agent. This resort is great we were on thr abults only resort. The food and service was great. We took 3 excursions and they were awesome to see the contry and the way they live.

Riu Republica: Amazing resort

Beautiful,beautiful,beautiful. The staff are great,the rooms are beautiful! The food was good. The animation team were amazing always happy and energenic.the resort is extremely clean! There are 3 pools and always enough loungers for everyone! I only have amazing things to say about The Riu Republica we had an amazing time. We would definetly go back to this resort highly recommended!

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Memories Splash Resort, Punta Cana

Overall, the vacation was good. Service, staff and food were excellent. The downside was we went specifically for the children's splash park as we were traveling with two children ages 6 and 8. They could not play together at the park slides because one was too small for the big slides and the other was too big for the small slides. The bigger child wanted to play with his sister at the small park but was not allowed. They were disappointed about this.

Occidental Punta Cana: Overall very nice resort ! Would recommend !!

We were there from April 01-08,2017. We were in building 26. Our room was newly renovated, clean rooms, nice comfy beds, no issues with clean towels. The resort is just the perfect size, walking around is close to every thing. Love the beach, no issues in getting fresh towels. Love the nice lounging chairs, new and comfy. Only thing missing are Palapas however there are many palm trees to provide shade. You just have to chase the shade. Grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We went  [... read more]mostly to Buffet, I find the food was all good, the desserts on the other hand were a bit dull. Would be nice if they had pop/draft fountains so we may serve ourselves. House wine . white is not good. I tried the white a few times but always heurk. My man says red is good. We went to 2 a-la-carte: Steak house, food was very good ,however service was all very badly organized. example: your eating dessert and they serve you bread and butter at the same time. We sat 30 minutes before waiter came to us. I can understand there is a language barrier, but serving people if waiters have assigned tables cannot be that bad. They had like 10 waiters and it was sad to see them go and be so confused. I spoke to one waiter after and he would have loved if I would have spoken to his Manager cause he knows there is chaos but he cannot say anything and get in trouble. If manager tells them its that way its that way. I feel for them. Italian on the other hand, service was good. The nightly entertainment is too late, starts at 9h45. However seen one seen them all. The pool bar, did not go, there is a constant waterfall over the bar and that is the only way you can get to bar to get a drink and in the waterfall that is over the bar there is food in the water like fries (reason being there is a snack bar over the bar, so food falls in the water fall and that dirty water pours on you when you go to the pool bar. I prefer the beach which is beautiful and nice waves. and last thing..music. for full week they played in the buffet restaurant saxophone Kenny G. Lovely music, but xmas music, let it snow, and red nose reindeer..in April is a little depressing. I would love if they played there music which can also be very soothing. I am pretty sure they have nice mellow tunes too. and that is why we go there is too get a bit of Dominican vibe and not just Kenny G. Those are all my comments, my negatives are little things that they can do to improve the resort. I would love to go back. just change the music and have better white wine and I am there!!!

Riu Republica: Good time

Loved it. Everything was perfect. Food staff and entertainment was fabulous. Only thing missing was room service. We did miss having the option of breakfast in bed. Super fun energy from animation team. Great beverages. Loved the huge sun shelters. Always lots available.

Riu Republica: Great resort

The hotel was very nice but access to and from our room made for a long walk each time. It is unfortunate that the complex was not designed with more exits to the grounds. Everyone has to pass through the lobby in order to get to their rooms. I am hoping with the new addition that is presently under construction that a trolley system will also be put in place as it is a fair distance to walk. The staff was the friendliest I have ever encountered. This includes the wait staff in all the restaurants and buffet, bar tenders, pool maintenance, grounds keepers, front desk staff, animation team and the maids. Each and every one had a friendly smile and went out of their way to help. The pools were great, whether you wanted to participate in the activities in the party pool or relax and read a book or nod off at the quiet pool. There were plenty of chairs and shade at all the pools. The beach was lovely and the big waves were fun to play in. The food was very good with lots of variety. We especially liked the Steak House and the main buffet. All in all, it was a great vacation.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Great resort for Families!

Loved Memories - kids enjoyed the "mixing up" of onsite waterpark in the morning then onto swimming beach or poolside. Staff throughout all areas of the resort from guest check-in, grounds crew, entertainment staff and cleaning ladies were very pleasant & always smiling, which keeps everyone in a good mood! Food is okay - buffet actually better than a la carte restaurant fare. Evening "shows" need a bit of work but having access to Royalton property is a definite bonus.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Outstanding resort!

We thought the resort was amazing. Clean, well designed and comfortable. Beautiful decor, friendly staff and great food. The amenities are endless. Always something to do or not do, whatever was your fancy.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Good family option

Memories splash Punta cana. Great layout nice pool easy access to water park with great slides and wave pool. Food was above average repetitive buffet but that's expected with a A.I. Only downfall was constant pressuring by entertainment and some bar staff to write a good review on tripadvisor of them. For this reason alone would not return.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great experience

Great resort with clean rooms and great food.. grounds are meticulously manicured ... beautiful beach. Would go again . Pools are very nice with bars and restaurants... two pools for relaxing and one big one for playing

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great place to marry

I got married at this resort. They set it up very nicely and on time. Great place to stay. Do note, they will not rush to get things done. Took a while to get my room on the first day. Also cleaning times for the room is never consistent. 9:30am one day, 5:00pm the next.

Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites: Reliable Resort

This was my second time at the Iberostar Bavaro Resort. The resort is older but well maintained. Grounds are very clean, every day there are gardeners taking care of all the plants and flowers including orchids. Food is good and there is lots to choose from. Beach is fabulous best location in Punta Cana. Staff is very attentive and eager to please their guests. Will return again

Royalton Punta Cana Resort: Beautiful beaches!

This resort is very clean and the beaches are the best we've ever seen. They are serviced daily to remove seaweed and coral/rocks so it is easy and safe to access the ocean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. One week is almost not long enough to enjoy everything there is to offer.

Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites: Great resort

Good food, beautiful beaches, lots of palapas, nice rooms in villas with gorgeous grounds. Would rate buffets 5 star. A la cartes 4 star pool 4 1/2 star beaches 5 star entertainment 3 1/2 star. Rooms 4 1/2 star

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Beautiful Resort - showing its age

This has been my third time visiting this resort and it still amazes me how beautiful it is. The resort has now grown to 7 in total. They have put in so much work into the new sections (Fantasia, Turquoise) that they are not putting any efforts into the original resort (Punta Cana). We were there from March 31 to April 7th for a wedding. In total there were 18 people and there seem to be an issue with all of the rooms. Being there for a wedding we would think that all of the rooms would [... read more] be together but instead were scattered all over the resort. For our room a special email request was sent to help us celebrate our honeymoon and my birthday and nothing was done to acknowledge the celebration. Our fridge in our room did not work properly at all and once it was documented it was fixed right away. Unfortunately for my brother his fridge also did not work and it took 5 days to get his fixed. In previous years if you were a returning guess you received a different color bracelet and you had the option of eating breakfast at the Santa Fe restaurant instead of going up to the lobby to go to the main Buffet. They are no longer doing this and had to go to the main lobby everyday. One night during the week they have a carribean night in the main court yard. In order to participate in this you have to pay an extra $15.00 per person. We were not happy with this and turned around and went back to the lobby. The resort is starting to show its age and things were constantly breaking. we weren't able to use the whirlpool tub as the stopper wouldn't work. Wall fixture beside the bed was broken in half and did not work.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Beautiful resort

I really enjoyed my stay at the Grand Bahia Principe resort in Punta Cana. Our room was clean and we were close to the pool, beach and main lobby for meals. Shuttle service was also handy :) I would definitely recommend this resort.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Excellent trip!!!

Amazing time at this resort! I loved how clean the restaurants, the lobby and the washrooms were. Clean washrooms are very important and I am very satisfied! I would go back to this resort again and have already started planning my next trip. Everything was awesome down to the amazing friendly staffs and service and of course the tasty food! Thank you dreams for making my anniversary voyage memorable!

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Okay for the Price

Our room was clean but it smelled very musty - even running the bathroom fan 24/7 didn't help. Friends staying down the hall didn't have this problem. One of our closet doors was missing and the door in the bathroom was coming off the hinges. The minibar was included but 3 out of 7 days it was not restocked. Grounds and public areas were fairly well maintained, except for the pools, which had a scummy layer floating on top. The beach was the best part - only steps away from the resort a [... read more]nd powdery white sand. There was a lot of seaweed on some days but if you swim out far enough you don't really notice. Food was good but service at the buffet restaurant was not - it took 45 minutes to get a morning coffee. VIP areas and service seemed much better but the upgrade costs an extra $50 per person per day.
