Playabachata Hotel: Amazing Resort

The Hotel Great , the Rooms was always Clean , the Food just OK , not the best , Pool Excellent, the Beach is just Ok , but we love the Hotel and the staff was great at Lobby or in the Restaurants, the Bar Great , but the Drinks we Not Happy, no International drinks at alll only Domestic, but is Ok !

Casa Marina Sosua Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: Great Vacation-Decent Resort

The resort has clearly been updating things over the last few years. The beach was amazing! One of the best I’ve seen in DR mostly because zero seaweed. We had to pay for a safe key and could not get a second room key which were the biggest issues(not that bad, just annoying). The room was clean, staff was great, had most typical amenities. Not much food variety got really hard after day 4. Overall definitely worth the money but nothing special.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Resort was nice

First of all we didn't get what we were told by trip central representative which was a big disappointment. Breakfast and lunch buffet menu never change for duration of our stay, drinks were just OK and room service wasn't all that great.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Beautiful Grounds

Luxury Bahia Principe Bouganville was a dream come true. The first impression does not lie. Grounds and common areas are expansive and excellently well kept. Check-in was efficient. As our group had booked 3 rooms, as I had just had knee surgery, they were able to commendate my in changing rooms within our group so I could have a first floor room. The rooms were very clean, my only complaint was that the mattress was too hard for my liking. The bar fridge was well stocked and there was no hass [... read more]le to get it restocked when needed. The buffet restaurants had a variety items, especially if you are fish lover. The specialty restaurants did not fail to impress us. Thanks to my butler Carlos, we were able to surprise 2 people in our party with decorated rooms and Birthday cake, which was for our very reason we went on vacation. The pool areas were clean and the bar staff were attentive, the animation team was friendly and had no problem to get group participation. I had never seen exercises bikes that go into the pool, but it was fun. The only problem in the pool areas was lack of shade or the ability to get a shaded area unless you were up at the crack of dawn. i thank you for very enjoyable holiday.

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Ok resort

We stayed in the honeymoon suite. The grounds were nice. Food was good. The rooms are horrible if you don’t pay for a top of the line room. Beach was ok. It and miss with hot water. Shower leaks onto the floor.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Resort

At first glance I thought it was nice landed on a cloudy day but still warm . I thought the shows weren’t very good the beaches were kind of dirty the staff were not very nice . And on top of everything I got salomonia poisoning

Playabachata Hotel: Good Experiece

When we first arrived and were assigned our room we were very dissatisfied but when we went to the front desk the next day we were given an option of two rooms. This second room was definitely an upgrade. The only con was the small showering area. We had no problems with the food. We found it to have a good variety. There were two options in case of the buffet as well as two options with the ala cart both were satisfactory. Pool area was well maintained but the pool itself needed closer monitori [... read more]ng with debris. There was a pool maintenance person clearing debris out of pool but he could not keep up. Also it is not a heated pool. The service of bartenders was satisfactory. The serving personnel in the buffets and ala cart restaurants were excellent. No complaints. The cleaning personnel to our room was exceptional. Only wish I had asked and kept track of their names. But Lydia from the buffet restaurant really sticks out in my mind. She was awesome. We stayed in the PlayaBachata Resort.

Booked this resort as a budget quick getaway from the winter weather The reviews were mixed but went with an open mind and were pleasantly surprised.The lobby , restaurants and some rooms are newly renovated very nice very clean.The grounds are beautiful and well kept.The food is your usual buffet style food lots of choices great selection of fruit and vegetables.The three restaurants food is much the same all good but the service in the Italian is not good.Also the lobby staff seem to want to [... read more] put you off and leave matters for the next shift but for the most part service is good no long lineups for bars.The pools are clean and a couple to choose .The reason I would return again is the beach the water is crystal clear no rocks seaweed or coral not a big beach and can be rough some days probably not the best for small children.We enjoyed our week and would recommend !

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Never Again

5 Star resort it is not. All inclusive it is not. They charge money for certain drinks at some bars but not at others. Getting around this resort is a nightmare. No matter where you want to go it is a long walk. They have golf carts/shuttle service that are supposedly there to drive you around. It was more like drive over you. I felt like I should of worn a bell around my neck. The language barrier was ridiculous. Understanding a little English for them would definitely help. Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Nice resort but nothing fabulous

Overall, the resort was nice and clean. Certain aspects could use renovating. Found that public toilets were often not working properly. Want to give a shout out to the entertainment and exercise staff who were enthusiastic and fun.

Caribe Deluxe Princess: Home Away From Home

I always enjoy my time while there. Clean rooms, good food, friendly and wonderful staff. The pool area is nice but the beach is the best part. Entertainment is good all around. I love it there and for sure will be back!

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Fun times in Punta Cana

First time at Now Larimar Punta Cana and was very impressed overall. Beautiful beach, seaweed not an issue they are constantly cleaning up. Food was really really good. Rooms were large and very clean. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Pool area was nice but because it’s a family resort was always packed with kids. Had to reserve pool chairs by sitting at pool from 630am or towels would be removed and you wouldn’t get a lounger, very annoying. Overall a very nice stay

Its a nice resort, nice pool, nice restaurants!! The vagetation was beautiful. The weather was perfect...the sea wow if you like it calm and turquoise!! The staff was 👍 The animation 3/5 The room was a 2-3/5 could be renovate I give a 3/5 stars

We had a good week here but would probably choose a higher end hotel the next time. Beach was not the clear crystal blue waters we expected, but once you were over that we enjoyed it. Although there are signs all over not to save huts and chairs, they are reserved by inconsiderate people, who seem to save their spots but not show up until hours later. No beach or pool service. We went to all 3 a la Carter’s, the Italian was the best. Not just for food, but for excellent , attentive and friendly service. The other 2 a la cartes seemed in a hurry to get us out, not friendly and menu was limited. Entertainment was pretty good, excellent beach party. Big issue was that the lobby bar would shut down at 11pm and the lights were all shut off. You had to sit in the dark to finish your drink. And if you wanted to stay up, it was either go back to your room or go to the disco. This part was very disappointing as it would have been nice to sit in lobby area, enjoy time with friends and have a few drinks. Rooms were ok. Definitely need a makeover. All plug outlets were broken, so it was hard to use coffee machine, watch tv, iron or plug in your phone charger. There is no hot water... everyday was a lukewarm shower. Tip your maid and you’ll get good service. We had enough towels everyday. We did pay extra for the royal golden service. This gave us a separate check in and designated staff to deal with if we had issues. Jose from Air Transat and Elisabeth from the hotel were wonderful!! There was premium alcohol here which we drank because i’m pretty sure the drinks were watered down. A lot of people noticed this. Stick with wine or beer. The power went out everyday , sometimes a few times day but only for a minute. Not sure why this occurred, but never longer than a few minutes. Overall we made the best of our time , room to improve but a nice vacation. Next time, we will choose a higher end property.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Great resort perfect for families

This was our second time to this resort. My kids love it!! There is so much to do. Tons of different swimming pools, amazing water slides, wave pool and beautiful white sandy beach. The food in the buffet is fantastic! A great variety of food. One of the bar staff was exceptional with us his name was Jhonffi.

Impressive Punta Cana: Beautiful Resort

Just came back from a 10 days vacation and I highly recommend the Impressive Resort and Spa. The room are immaculate, the food is really good especially “on the grill” and the Japanese restaurant. The staff is very friendly and excellent entertaining. We LOVED it there.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Well enjoyed resort

The hotel is great looking when you arrive to the openness to c through to the restaurants and the bar in the middle with seating every where around it what a great feeling .the staff in the restaurant are friendly but the main buffet avoid the women chief they are rude and slow .the buffet on the water is nice great view of the water the thing we notice the beach is getting small and they added more big sand bags to help the beach from not disappearing the rooms are clean and the maid service i [... read more]s good you ask for something they are gladly to help you out the landscape is well kept by the maintenance people.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Not a 5 star resort!

The staff were very pleasant, the rooms spacious, but in need of updating. Some other people we talked to complained about mold in their room and others about insects . Food only okay.....nothing special for a 5 star luxury resort. The pools and grounds were well-kept. The entertainment not that great.

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Great resort!

We absolutely would recommend this resort. The grounds are beautiful, clean and spacious. We found the hotel staff to be the friendliest we've ever had and the food was the best. We would definitely go back. Only criticism is the upgrade to preferred club isn't entirely worth the cost. There's no specific system to decipher who is special preferred club or not so everyone ends up mixing together. And there are just as many kids as there are adults.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Best resort ever !!

Staffs are so amazing and friendly to us and best service as we needed. Beach and pool are great to relax and event daily's are great Number one is staffs are great greet us so friendly and laughed !
