Punta Cana Princess: Great Resort

I liked that the resort is on the smaller size....not a far walk to get to room,beach,restaurants or lobby. Beautiful beachfront,lots of sun shelters and loungers available but you do have to get up early if you want one. Beach is great for long walks and Princess staff can be seen clearing their beachfronts of washed up seaweed. Buffet restaurant offers a great selection of food...4 al a carts, my favorite was mare nostrum. All staff was friendly and helpful, felt very welcomed.

Majestic Mirage Punta Cana All Suite Resort: Amazing Resort!!!

The hotel was so clean and the staff was honestly the best staff I've ever came across, I would go back in a heart beat!!!! Absolutely beautiful resort with 8 great restaurants for anything you're craving that day!

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Such a great resort

The resort was amazing! Didn't even have to do any excursions the resort had enough! Great people, food, disco. Only thing that could improve is the ocean (too much seaweed!) I will be going back that's for sure! Thanks

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Fabulous vacation

My 9 year old daughter and I stayed at the Memories Splash resort from March 26-31, 2017. We had a great time. The resort was nice and clean. We stayed in the "older" part which still suited us fine. Lots of good food - even a picky eater can enjoy. We loved the waterpark - wasn't many lines and always found a chair there and at the pools. The only thing I didn't like was having to go next door to the Royalton resort to use the beach. Even though it was only a 15 min walk or 5 min trolley ride,  [... read more]it was still a nuisance and felt like an "intruder" at their 5 star resort. Found the vendors a little aggressive but just had to be firm.

Tropical Deluxe Princess: Colourful Resort

The resort was very Colourful , lots of swimming areas. The main eating area had a good variety of food. Love the Crepe place. The only dislike was the rain unfortunately we didn't get enough pool time or sun.

VIK Hotel Arena Blanca: Disappointed vacation

Pros- Small resort, all facilities were close, clean rooms. Cons- Very poor reception desk, we had to fight to get anything that we needed such as facecloth, rooms on ground level and rooms near our friends, no beer in bottles and no service for room fridge. We would have had employee at front desk fired if possible by the name of Gilberto , we had several very bad run in's with him and as a result will not return there and we will be telling other people to stay away, they forget that w [... read more]e are guests and spending hard earned money for a vacation and do not need unnecessary harassment from an asshole like him. Very disappointed with the quality of drinks and the beer was draft on tap everywhere , 3star at best. Poor tv almost all Spanish , only internet in lobby , poor snorkelling in front of resort and too many pushy sales people , !

Paradisus Palma Real Golf and Spa Resort: Amazing resort!

It was a great first experience! Simply breathtaking! The agent was amazing...people at resort were amazing! Very memorable trip in deed! I would highly recommend this resort in fact I am every time someone asks about the trip! We will consider going back with the family as many as possible...my niece is looking for a wedding venue so it's a good possibility that this is the resort!

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Awesome Resort

Great recreational areas pools and kids club, excellent food and service. Awesome beach... Nice people, good shopping. Close to the airport just 20 min. High recomended for sure we are going to come back!!! Love the Resort

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Nice first time in Punta Cana

Resort met our expectations. Staff was nice and quick to answer. Food was good, lots of choices at every meals but got bored a bit at the end. Beach and pools were awesome. Waiters at the Bambu Bar were the best !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Occidental Punta Cana: Not a bad little resort!

This was a good choice resort for us because it was our first visit to DR. We were looking for one that wasn't too big and this one fits! Our stay was great...building 26 with room facing ocean was excellent, as was the hot tub on the deck! Grounds were well maintained. Room was clean and spacious. Service was hit and miss, especially in the specialty restaurants. We tried the Mexican, Italian, steakhouse, and seafood restaurants. My favourite was the Mexican. Even though service was hit and miss, we still tipped because the workers at the resort depend on them to supplement their income.We were in the first club section of the resort and had great service at the bar there. Cruz and Pedro provided excellent friendly service! Check in and check out were a breeze. Common areas of the resort were well kept and I always stopped in the main lobby to smell the Lillies. All in all a great little resort!

My experience at Paradisus Palma Real was very brief as I had to change hotel because being over booked. José at the reception organised my transfert to another resort with great care and understanding of my needs. José thank you for your great service.

Riu Republica: Over advertised....under delivered...3 star at best

Food.....good....lots of choice for everyone except special diets. Drinks .....poor .....wine is swill...horrid Rooms ......clean and acceptable Service .......good Pools ...... great Ocean......dangerous Oceanside beach, chairs and umbrellas.....OK. but you must have the "special clothes pegs"and stake your territory before 8. No spring breakers....think again. I expect honesty from the travel brochure and marketing.

Paradisus Palma Real Golf and Spa Resort: Amazing resort

The hotel was super clean. Food amazing. Service A+. This was our first trip to Punta Cana and we must say that this hotel is going to be hard to beat. Sungwing was a bit of a different. Tour bus took forever to get us to the airport amd sunwing almost left us behind because they were having problems with their system.

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: awesome resort

I was completely surprised at check in time when they automatically upgraded me to the Diamond Club because I was a repeat guest and in addition to that Oliver mgr again upgraded and gave me complimentary privileges for the week to the hydro therapy spa which was a completely amazing experience that I truly needed and enjoyed. The hotel is small but beautiful, the staff(all staff, front desk, concierge, bell boys, bartenders, waitresses and entertainment are happy and friendly people and go  [... read more]out of their way to please you. This is my second stay and I will return again, I have no complaints about this hotel, all is good. They provide you with all of your bath necessities, body & hair wash, conditioner and body lotion that is fantastic. All requests that I had were taken care of within minutes a truly relaxing vacation. I would and already have recommend this hotel to everyone.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Nice Resort

My wife and I were at the beach side of the resort from March 20-28, 2017. We really enjoyed our time here and there's lots of good things about the resort. Most of the staff were great, but some grumpy. Most of the restaurants were also good. However we did not enjoy the Spanish restaurant as they took excessively long time to serve our dinner and check on us. We had problems with our room as we had booked a ground level beach front premium room. Knowing this the premium registration desk put u [... read more]s into a second floor non premium room. They did put us into the proper room after we spoke up about it. After getting our room we had to get hotel maintenance to fix the hot water and the TV. Also the staff were very loud first thing in the morning waking us up several days in a row. So while there's lots of enjoyable aspects to this resort, we would not go back to this one. Also being a first time Trip Advisor client, my wife and I did not get any of the vouchers we should have had for our trip beforehand. It was only from a lengthy phone call a day or two before our trip we learned of the proper connection for our shuttle bus to the hotel. Also our voucher(s) for additional services (on-site hotel services) that was part of our pre-paid package was never given to us. We have enjoyed many all inclusives before but we felt like Tripcentral just doesnt connect all the dots as well as our past holidays with other providers. Still, we enjoyed our trip, the location and most everything was very enjoyable.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Excellent Resort

The grounds were superb, trolley system efficient, pools nice but difficult to find a chair, food excellent at buffets, fair at a la carte, rooms 3.5 star. The staff were pleasant and anxious to please, always greeted you with "hola". Rooms overated!

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Great Vacation

Barcelo Bavaro Beach - great complex, wonderful pool, beautiful beach, lots of chairs, all restaurants at both locations wonderful, people working are the best so polite and helpful. one issue is the wi fi issue my wife would only return if the wi fi issue was to improve, i kind of agree we have been to many places around the globe, this was by far the worst for wi fi service example in Korea there is no charge and wi fi is available everywhere even here in our home town it is very accessible [... read more]. The rate at which is charged is way too much and it still isn't any good. Hopefully in time this does improve and the service is provided at no cost.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Great Resourt

Excellent Facilities, rooms, pools, beach, location, restaurants, staff very friendly, will return when possible. I have recommended this resort to my friends. Also medical services available, which I had to use, and was very well looked after.
