We had amazing days in this resort. Everything was perfect. Just a couple issues, I couldn't sleep at night because the hallways was noisy every night by some drunk people 😉And the second issue was about room service, the wet towels was in our room after they clean our room. And our fridge didn't full every day. Thank for everything Colleen.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Five star for sure

Traveled April 22, 2017 for a week. Had a lovely ocean front room. Food was fabulous as were the drink choices. Great weather and the beach was very nice except there was a lot of seaweed on the beach and in the water whenever the water was rough. Staff were perfect and everything very clean. Say hi to Roselea in the sports bar from Canada. Perfect person for the job. No problems getting a lounge on the beach or by the pools.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Fabulous resort

This resort had the best food, wonderful entertainment and delightful people. Very clean resort and very comfortable beds. The staff were always helpful and the tour guides on our excursions were more than amazing. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the staff who were tricking us into signing up for time share. I had a full day of travelling and was very tired when we arrived. Arrived at the resort at 12:30pm and had to wait for our room to be ready at 3:00pm. We had no problem with  [... read more]our day of travelling and were trying to wind down before dinner and were approached by staff trying to sell time shares and forcing us to sign a meeting schedule. The next morning our villa, we then had a concierge bugging us to see if and what kind of deal was given to us for our excursions. I advised that I was not interested and was pursued for most of the week to buy time shares. Quite bothersome and annoying. Other than that we had the time of our lives. Thank you,

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Missing it already

I loved this place! The staff were very friendly and eager to please. The resort had a bit of everything from beach, jungle, animals, ruins and a small water park. I loved how they kept a lot of the natural aspects of the land and wildlife. It's not a heavily landscaped resort. That being said if you plan to swim at the beach I suggest having some footwear due to the rocks. If your looking for something that's a little less luxury resort and embraces it's environment a bit more this place is great. The Mrs and I had a wonderful time and can't wait till our next visit.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: INCREDIBLE RESORT!

This resort was absolutely amazing. The food, the hospitality, the views. Extremely clean and well kept, and no chance to get bored or have nothing to do! Every possible activity you can think of! Will definitely return. Not to mention how surprised I was at how good of a family resort it is as well. Although we stayed at the tulum (amazing for couples) part of the resort we visited coba (one of the hotel areas in resort) as well and would recommend it to anyone going on a family trip. Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Amazing resort

Everything was amazing, the food, the resort, the room, the crowd,and the staff. So much to do at the resort, which means no need to leave the resort. Everyone were really friendly and nice. The beach was a bit dirty.

Barcelo Maya Palace: Fabulous time!

This was our second time to the Barcelo Palace, so it's alwasys going to be a comparison to the first time. Two changes that I didn't like: the bedding, and the pillows. Honest to God, the sheets felt like they were plastic, and the pillows were so large they were hard to sleep on. Other than that we enjoyed everything about this resort. I loved the ocean, the on site shopping, the friendly staff, and a la carte meals. Fernando, in my opinion, was the best server on the property. He asked my name, and treated me like we were great friends. Another shout out to Ulises at the adult pool. He made fabulous drinks and was so friendly. We also love the Tokyo restaurant in the mall, and the chef put on a great show.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Excellent resort

The grand Bahia akumal in Mexico was truly amazing,the people went out of their way to help and always pleasant.the hotel itself was breathtaking and the nature around the resort was truly like living in the garden of Eden .definately would go back and recommend this resort. John and margaret

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Great looking on the outside rotton on the inside

Despite the modern decor and outstanding American interior design, the service was lacking for the $1800 dollar price tag. The cab company the hotel endorses never seems to have change for a 20 and the fares are never the same. The rooms terrible air filtration caused aggressive coughing amongst 60% of our 13 person group. I wouldn't visit again.

Barcelo Maya Palace: Great Value for the Family

Desserts start to get repetitive after 7 days, same with shows. Kids loved the Barcy club, and water park with waterslides, crafts, facepainting, movies, games and all sorts of activities- available 9-9!!, and even take kids to dinner or lunch. No hot Jacuzzi on site, just cold built into the pool. Really only 3 bars. 2 Buffets, but mostly only 1 open at one time ( or staggered only for a short time) Waiter service in the restaurants and buffet, outstanding Buffets have 4* quality, Resta [... read more]urants are 5* quality, selection Walking to other resorts was fun, more water parks and pools and bars to enjoy. Short walk to Dolphinarium, Spa Spa$$ was well worth it- gorgeous hydrotherapy pools, and massage was great Rooms were nice, some tile work is grouted terribly, but well cleaned and supplied amenties were nice. AC in rooms, restaurants and some community areas good. Snacks at the Lobby bar nice. Beach was nice, able to swim with fishes and sea turtles within 50 ft of shore. Lots of lounge chairs around pool and beach, hammocks too, always a place to lay down. Gardens around grounds were nice, but needed more shrubs and plants planted around the grounds. Sister resorts have lots of gorgeous plant beds in addition to the gorgeous palm trees. Cleanliness of the resort was OK, but not spotless. Private photos on the resort are way overprices. Really 1 picture with a bird around the pool for the kid is $15 - 1 picture, and a family/couple/single sitting fee with pictures is 20/picture. Bus the mall, mini golf was great, quick. Bowling Alley area was kind of moldy smelling. Room was a King Bed, with 2 Day beds, which could sleep adults, but kids took them. They needed new mattresses, but Kind was great. Bedding; crisp and white. Flight and transportation were good!

Barcelo Maya Colonial: we shall return!!!

Overall it was a wonderful experience for both of us. First visit and definitely not our last Entire Barceló Resort was absolutely beautiful, spotless grounds "manicured". Restaurant staff were friendly but obvious language issues made conversation challenging but that wasn't unexpected. Always greeted pleasantly by a hostess for dinner Staff at front desk and other guest services were very helpful. Nighttime shows were okay but not that exciting. Our room was suppose to be "oceanview" It w [... read more]as at groundlevel but obscuring our view was the childrens pool area and water apparatus. Our room was very spacious and more than comfortable.

Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Wow!

We're forever spoiled. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special (thank you, Sergio at the front desk). From Eduardo and Carlos who served us tirelessly on the beach to Luis at The Grill whose menu suggestions led to a few of the best meals we've ever had, this resort pulls out all the stops. Nightly entertainment was top notch. Be mindful, the clientele is young and it can get a bit loud at the pool, and they host are a ton of weddings which bring their own brand of party hoopla,  [... read more]so if you're retired and are looking for a very quiet getaway, this is probably not the place for you.

Viva Maya by Wyndham: Average resort

The resort was a little older and dated but clean and well maintained The rooms were bare bones,no alarm clock,coffee maker and having to pay for the safe was a little annoying. The food in the alacart restaurants was good but lackluster in the buffet The staff and service was excellent. Lots of beach chairs was nice. The shows at night were good. Overall the resort was good but more of a 3 star by mexican standards

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Very Clean resort!

Nothing negative ro say about the resort. Very clean, food was good, little cart came around often to give us rides around the resort. The only thing I didn't really like was the fact that it was soooo big we got lost a few times!!

Enjoyed my stay there. Friendly staff and food is good as well. Only complaint is the resort is massive and confusing. Got lost several times trying to find my room but But overall was beautiful and would go back.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Excellent Food, Beautiful Resort!

I went with my husband and 2 kids age 19 mths and 4. The food was incredible and wait staff was excellent. Grounds were well maintained, rooms were a good size. It was a smaller resort (and really no need for a shuttle although available) but everything you could possibly need was there. Not a party resort, but a very classy one. Highly recommend. We don't usually like to go to the same place twice but we finally found a resort where we would without hesitation!

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Amazing experience!

We had the time of our lives at the Grand Palladium group of hotels. Having access to all 4 hotels underneath the chain is what made it so special. Each hotel had a different look and feel. So many restaurants, pools, bars and activities! There were plenty of beach chairs and umbrella's as well. No matter what type of vacation you are looking to experience you will find it here. It is kid friendly but they also reserve sections for adults only so that they meet the needs of every customer.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Beautiful Resort

The Hotel is great, however I personally found it was much too big , Tullum beach was too rocky and Si-an Kaan beach was nice however ,the beach is only waist high An therefore not great for swimming.We were upgraded to Si'an Kaan it was lovely,but lived out of our suitcases as there is no dressers,and a closet with 6clothes hangers,not great for two guests.Aftrr 7 days of our 10 day visit we were told we would be moved back to Coba.when the day came,we asked and were told we could stay at Si'an [... read more] Kaan managers told us it was taken care of ,only to come back to our room next day and locked out told we were suppose to move,had 15 minutes to pack and move to Coba,lost our dinner reservations,Rooms are much nicer at Coba wish we had stayed at Coba for our 10 day stay,but don't know if we would go back,beautiful,but too big

Grand Sunset Princess: A MUST VISIT

The hotel was Amazing! People could be a little friendlier but the cleanliness of the room, grounds and food superseded. Nightly entertainment was AMAZING!! They did a fantastic job with the shows! I have been to many places in Mexico and around the world, I would really recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good place to vacation. Thanks TripCentral and our Agent!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Grand Bahia Principe Coba

Our first day at the resort was really nice. We got there around night time so straight away we went to eat at the buffet. There is a great selection of different types of foods at the buffet ranging from breads to pastas to chicken and fish. The staff at the buffet was wonderful and gave great service, they were all very friendly. The next couple days we went to check out the resort and the place itself is very spacious. There was a snack bar right beside our room and pool area which is great if you just want a quick bite to eat. Not as much selection at the snack bar as the buffet but understandable. The guacamole and chips were great while chilling by the pool. We got 2 rooms for 2 people each so 4 people in total. The rooms are very nice and big to fit quite a few people. The staff at the hotel was very accommodating when we needed something (Tissue, tea bags, etc) The only downside I would right as a 'CON' was when my daughter had food poisoning from one of the A La Carte's we ate at. I believe it was the French restaurant located near the lobby. We suspected it might be 'Uncooked Lamb' or the dessert she ate, we don't know exactly but she definitely felt VERY sick after eating there and I would not recommend it. She puked a couple times so we had to buy Gatorade for her in the gift shop located at the lobby, always be prepared for those things! Overall, the staff was lovely and the place itself is great if you like big resorts and want to relax. I give it a ✰✰✰✰/5.
