Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: Beautiful resort

This resort is the most amazing resort we have ever been too. Check in was smooth the staff is amazing the rooms are spotless and the food was great. Earl our butler made our vacation he was the best. We have already booked this resort again in March 2026.

Jolly Beach Antigua: Not worth the price

The beach is beautiful but hotel needs upgrade. Overpriced for what is offered. Lack of entertainment and bar shuts down at 11.The rooms were not cleaned for a 7 day stay and pipes broken. Not sure what resort fee is for.

Pineapple Beach Club: Great Resort!

Pineapple Beach is a beautiful place located on a beautiful beach! The food was plentiful and delicious. The resort's vibe is relaxing and chilled. We stayed at an Ocean View room 900's which gave us an excellent water view but there is a "bit of a walk and stairs to endure" if mobility is a concern. We have been beachers on many wonderful beaches-and this hits as one of the best for us. This resort is a definite place that has returning guests and now we know why! Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: Antigua is beautiful

Hotel needs a little tender loving care, a little old, overall rooms are kept clean, maids did a great job. Service was lacking a bit but most tried to do keep up with serving you. Bartenders could have better service. You can tell who enjoy there jobs I would say 3/4 of the service was good. Excursion we were on was amazing the 3 who were on the boat made our experience one to remember. We were taken around all of Antigua swam with the stingrays had lunch, snorkeled it was well worth the money. Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: Beautiful Setting, But Fell Short of Expectations

We recently stayed at the Royalton Antigua and had an overall enjoyable vacation. The beach was stunning, the weather was perfect, and we appreciated the efforts of several friendly staff members. The resort's location offers breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. However, despite these positives, we left feeling underwhelmed. Given the Royalton's branding and its affiliation with Marriott's Autograph Collection, we anticipated a higher standard of service and amenities. Dining experiences were inconsistent; We were unable to make reservations at some restaurants and told they were booked to find out others had no problem accommodating them. We were told someone would help us with our luggage while checking out and no one showed up. Having elderly parents carry their luggage down 5 flights of stairs since the elevator was out. While these issues didn't ruin our trip, they did detract from the overall experience. We had a good time but wouldn't choose to return to this particular resort. For travelers seeking a five-star experience, it might be worth exploring other options in Antigua.

Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: beautiful resort but not the friendliest staff

The hotel facilities were wonderful and the beach area was beautiful but a lot of the staff were extremely moody and unapproachable. The restaurants weren't open everyday and we were asked to make reservations thru their onsite app that didn't work most of the time and when you went to book with the hotel concierge it took forever. When we did get into the restaurants the wait was always very long and when your food came it was always cold or not what the description said it was. Half of the t [... read more]ime they did not have alcohol or could not make you any tropical drinks because of a lack of menu and because the machine wasn't working or they ran out of rum. We kept asking for bottled water and were always told that we had to call down to get some and that they did not have any at the restaurants. This was surprising because we were told that our mini bar would be re-stocked everyday with water, etc. This was not the case, we had to call every day to make sure they brought us more water. Most of the places that were suppose to be open late were not and when you asked staff questions they responded with annoyance and usually didn't have any answers. I also was surprised that our transfer and tour operator didn't give us any information about the island on our way to the resort or provide us with an orientation onsite to book excursion, etc. Most all inclusives' have someone onsite who tells you what excursions are available and what they recommend when you get there. Neither the driver or the check in person said anything about this to anyone. I was a bit disappointed in this vacation. The island was pretty but i would not recommend this hotel to anyone in the future. There were a select few people working on the resort that were amazing but in general the people were unhappy, lazy and unwilling to help with anything.

This resort is a party resort they play music until 3 am The bartender are so slow the waitress service the drinks are slow Gym closes at 8pm They played the same beet music all day everyday Buffet was good Hunters steak was good VESA pasta was good

St James Club and Villas: Beautiful Antigua!

Beautiful resort! Lots of variety, different places to eat, breakfast buffet is amazing! Entertainment every night at the Docksider restaurant along with fabulous food. Beautiful little coffee shop that’s open 24 hours a day, serving every type of coffee you can imagine, alcoholic or not. Saddest part of the resort was the seaweed but nothing that could be helped. Hotel staff was tirelessly trying to clean it up every morning. Other side of the hotel was Marmora Bay which was beautiful for swimm [... read more]ing, kayaking, etc. We went there for a wedding and had an amazing time. Did the Shirley Heights tour and Swim with Stingrays. Lovely vacation, if only the sargassum stayed away!

Pineapple Beach Club: Incredible Resort!

The Pineapple Beach Club is a beautiful resort with incredibly kind and helpful staff as well as great food and lovely grounds. The beach and surroundings are gorgeous! We really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely book again in the future!!

Royalton Chic Antigua - Diamond Club We spent 10 days here and also a friend reserved this property. The Pros: our 2 Butlers Maxwell and Terrl were outstanding and went above and beyond and should be awarded, The beach for Diamond club was outstanding, many staff are terrific The Cons: while you will not starve here th food is sub par for our 10k experience. Throughout our stay there was Royalton corporate staff at the resort working on improvement and insight. There are staff that are just over the top rude and should be weeded out. For my 38 years of travel visting many countries and over 45 AI resorts this was not good and we felt the value for a 10k vacation was la king as described and we felt taken advantage of at this price point. Pineapple Beach Club: Amazing resort!!!

The staff and service is outstanding. They are friendly and extremely accommodating. The grounds are immaculate. Wherever we ate, it was simply delicious. The nightly entertainment was engaging and very talented. The daily activities were fun. We truly had a wonderful vacation. Thank you.

The staff and cleanliness was top notch. Had a wonderful time!!!We met so many Canadians and had fun dancing every night!!! Music was so fun!!! We would come again to the Pineapple resort as it was an amazing time!!!

Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: Needs help especially in food and beverage

Beach is great, grounds are beautiful and well kept, food and beverage department need lots of help and training , lobby bar only open at 5 pm , poor restaurant reservations , buffet kept running out of food and bars kept on running out of alcohol

Pineapple Beach Club: Excellent Resort but a la carte reservation system is archaic

The hotel is very well laid out & compact. You can walk to all main areas in a 2 minute walk. Golf cart shuttle always available to take you up the hill to The Outhouse, the lunch bbq area, but also walkable for most. My room was in good condition with coffee maker and bar fridge with water. There are three bars, an infinity pool, a large pool and a smaller pool in a quiet area. The food at this resort is of good quality and lots of variety. There are 3 a la cartes, but in reality, only 2, as [... read more] they charge $40 U.S. to go to The Orchid ( the steakhouse). I feel this is unrealistic after having already paid alot of money for this "All - Inclusive". Also, you had to line up to reserve the a la cartes, and you could only book 48 hours out, so first two days you are there - not available! And if you didn't stand in line by 8 a.m. for 8:30 am opening at guest services, you didn't get a reservation, or they only had 8:30 pm available. I don't like to stand in line on my holidays - a waste of my precious time away. Apparently, they are in the process of changing it - let's hope ! The resort has many activities - you can be as busy as you want ( volleyball, ping pong, pool table, aqua aerobics, yoga, bingo, scrabble, a library and a good selection of board games) The staff were amazing, very friendly and happy - especially Ashley, bar areas and Anika, guest services. My only disappointment was the snorkelling - I chose this resort because I was told the snorkelling was good - it was not - it was just basic.

Ocean Point Resort and Spa: Overall Ok

Overall the hotel was OK . Service was good in the restaurant. They offered different specials at the restaurant every night. I found that the bed in the hotel room too soft for my liking.There a filling station for water in front of lobby it was very helpful. The deck in front of the ocean needed repair because it was old. The resort needs a renovation hands down.

Pineapple Beach Club: Great Resort!

We loved our week at the Pineapple Beach Resort. The beach was very nice although not very long. The pools were good. The service in the buffet was okay, some waitresses were not as friendly and our dirty plates were not taken away very quickly. The food was good. Cleaning services was every other day which was okay however, towels and bottles of water were not replenished to what was in the room on the first day we arrived. Hard to get a chair on the beach under the palm trees. There were some dead spots on the pickle ball courts. Overall we would definitely come back as we had a great time.

Pineapple Beach Club: Lovely week in Antigua

We enjoyed our easy access by TripCentral's suggestion of Waterfront rooms (509), and their help in making all our travel arrangements. Were advised by Melanie to take $125 USD - appreciated by many staff, and used freely!. Main area quite noisy with varying games in afternoon, and noisy, heavy beat music every evening. Pineapple Beach Club: Great vacation! ☀️

We loved absolutely everything about our one week stay there. We will be back to Antigua for sure, but for longer next time. The newly renovated beachfront room with private balcony was perfect, the jewelry making, walk to Devil’s Bridge, coffee shop, floating island rings, the ribs at the Outhouse, White Night, the food at Pineapple Grill were all standouts for us. Every staff member we met were super friendly and always there to help. Thank you all!
