Sunscape Curacao Resort: Amazing Resort

We have no complaints. The rooms were clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic.Thanks to the Italian restaurant and Nicole for decorating for my husband's birthday ( a total surprise) The beach was a bit rocky but not a problem with water shoes, so many fish right at the beach because of the coral. The bartenders were great, and Kenneth's Special drink was a delicious Adult flavored Strawberry Shake. We would definitely stay there again.

Dreams Curacao Resort Spa and Casino: Could be Potential

I recently returned from Dreams Curaçao and I was not impressed. We did not get served tea/coffee not one morning. Basically everything, other than a la carte is serve yourself. When we are paying a so much money, I would like at least drinks. Nobody by the pool served you. Majority of the employees looked like they didn’t want to be there. We could not find a Westjet rep to help us nor was there a binder for flight/bus pick up times. They did their best with night time entertainment, however it [... read more]’s not the best. The buffet is basically the same every meal/every day. Jessica who worked the bar at night was amazing and Livy with entertainment did a great job! The resort itself has potential, however they require proper management in running it to a 5* standard. Currently it’s running at 2.5-3 at best. Needless to say we will not be returning.

Sonesta Ocean Point Resort: Amazing Resort and Service

Everything was amazing about this resort. The food was delicious, the grounds and facilities were immaculate and the views were stunning. The best thing about this resort was the people. They were consistently friendly, helpful and informative. Trip Central ( Candice Anger) was very helpful and knowledgeable in booking this resort and our preferred room.

The Rif at Mangrove Bch Corendon Curacao: Our First Trip to Curaçao!

Lovely resort with a wonderful pool. The buffet was great. Loved the buckets of wine at dinner! The resort location is solid as it is a walkable distance to Willemstad. While the Adult pool was lovely it quite often had lots of children in it. A La Carte restaurants, were mediocre for service and difficult to book despite an app that could have made it easier. Dreams Curacao Resort Spa and Casino: Nice resort - however lot of issues

Dreams was a nice resort, however, would not return. Pros - close to town - nice beach, though very small - good location at water - buffet breakfast and lunch were wonderful - rooms nice layout, spacious, nice balcony, comfortable beds, nice washroom Cons - Air conditioning NOT working all week - very humid - hard to sleep - Only warm to hot water all the time, no cool or cold water - Not happy at all with events, entertainment or advising of events - Room right above t [... read more]he main lobby, didn't know how loud it was at night events - Pool towels most of the time were empty/used - Only 2-3 restaurants open daily - buffet only 2x for dinner - Air Canada Rep - never saw her past 1st day - no offer of option of shuttle to town, other resorts that was an option- disappointed

Sonesta Maho Beach: Excellent

We loved the island, watching the planes, the beaches, resort food and wonderful staff. Resort was very clean. Only negative was smoking and vaping around pool all day, everyday and not in designated areas.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Beautiful beach!

We had a great time! The room was very clean, the air conditioning worked great! The pool at sun club was so clean and warm! Zoraida was the best bartender ever! She did such a great job! We had an amazing time snorkeling as well right in front of the sun club pool. I loved that the pool and beach were so close! The grounds were kept very clean and I also had the best deep tissue massage at the spa! Great weather all week!

Sonesta Maho Beach: So much potential

This resort at one point could or would be a gem unfortunately unless you are at the adult side Ocean Point this is where you get the full top class treatment. The Sonesta Family side is not up to par with basic customer service standards of a hotel and this property is listed as a resort. There is no consistency with the customer service and its always lacking as most of the staff do no care and are not happy working there. Our room had poor AC issues and toilet not flushing and a room with children why allow guests to stay in this broken room as I am sure this issue was previously documented. We should have been moved but this did not seem to be a priority. The guest had to constantly follow up no one would call back or provide a response its left to the guest to continuously call for an answer as they simply do not care. I made the suggestion can I get a fan and one was provided however they never even provided alternative methods or supports and the island is in one of the hottest month August. The resort is always packed so they do not procure food for the amount of guest as food would run out at the buffet and would not be replenished or maybe it would be done when they felt the timing was right. So if your child is hungry and all the bacon ran out maybe they would refill it or maybe after a half hour some would come out. Food was not labelled properly so good luck for people with dietary restrictions. Again all down to customer service and the staff there are very new and young and simple do not care and the more seasoned workers are very set in there ways and rude. The plus side is that the food was tasty, the beach was beautiful, the resort was clean and some what modern the few staff that did take them time to smile was so pleasant and genuinely happy to conversate and smile with you. The pool was decent for all age groups. The have kids and teen clubs. The staff is always quick to tell you when you cant do something or no or no we don't have this however if they saw you with an empty glass or sitting at a table waiting or you needed something answered no one would be looking or offering to help. They assume you know all their processes or even what we can or can not do. We had no idea that there was an infinity pool as it was located on the adult side however all guests had access to this pool and we found that on the plane back home from another guest at the resort who also said they did not enjoy their stay. There was no one that seemed friendly to talk with as most staff was just miserable, unhelpful and unfriendly. As beautiful as this island was I would never return to Sonesta even on the Adult side I hope a big chain goes in and really shows what a resort experience should be. Thankfully to a bad experience at Sonesta we ventured off the resort (which location wise is amazing not far from anything) and was able to see more of the island and eat at their restaurants which the food was absolutely delicious off the resort. The island was fun to experience on both the French and Dutch side and we always felt safe.

Sonesta Ocean Point Resort: Excellent - Would Go Back!

This resort is lovely, clean and nice. Views are spectacular. Definitely not a 5* hotel and not new so be aware that your expectations of 5* luxury will not be met. Bathroom is very small, very low water pressure, not good for 2 people; somewhat dingy. However, you are paying for the amazing views and the incomparable beach. Food was excellent everywhere we went, service was great and we always felt safe. We had a swim up room facing the beach. The pool filters don't come on until the [... read more] morning so look closely at the water if you plan to enter the swim up first thing - it was gross and dirty from overnight swimmers. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays there is a bbq by the ocean facing pool - the wings are INCREDIBLE and perhaps the best thing we ate!!! A WORD OF CAUTION: while we were on the plane coming back, the hotel attempted to charge almost $5,000.00 to my credit card. WHY? This left a very bad taste in my mouth and it was definitely not a coincidence that this happened while we were on the plane.

Dreams Curacao Resort Spa and Casino: Dreams I not a 5 star resort

The resort is small, has 3 "restaurants" plus a buffet despite what the website says, and 1 of the 3 were closed most nights, so limited dining options. Most of the food was below average, and the many items were the same in each restaurant. They don't serve wine with dinner, you need to buy it by the bottle. The buffet was identical each breakfast and lunch, your only option for those meals. The beach is tiny, about the size of my front lawn. Most beaches in Curacao are small as they  [... read more]are small coves. They had "2" bars, but the one never, ever had a server at it. Didn't get a drink at it all week, nor did I see anyone else. They don't use top shelf alcohol, you have to walk to an office in the back to get a drink with it, and you have to have a "preferred" room to access it. Also, they play very, very loud music every night until anywhere from 1030- 1130 pm each night, at the foot of the hotel. You cannot get away from it, so I would only recommend a "NON OCEANVIEW" room to block as much of the music as possible, unless you like being stuck listening to off-key KAREOKE singers until 1030 pm. You seriously cannot get away from it if you want any quiet time in the evening. Bring earplugs if you go to bed before 11pm. The Casino is tiny, and only used by locals for the slots. I went in 3x and no one was ever at a blackjack table or roulette. ALSO, ZOETRY is accross the road and they come to the postage stamp beach to use as well. - Lastly, watch out for the "Hyatt All Inclusive" sales pitch that they will try to sell you for $30K US. The sales person even admitted to us that the Dreams Curacao is no more than a 3 star resort. The trip is cheap for a reason. Honestly, I would never ever go back there. I am only writing this to help decision makers in the future. We rented a car, the lsland itself is awesome. So much to see and explore. The downtown is gorgeous and safe. We ended up eating out - off the resort 3 times because the food was so below average.

Very good good location friendly staff the food could be a little better entertainment was okay would like to hear a little more reggae music but overhaul it was nice beautiful island my wife and I truly enjoyed it and would go again someday

Dreams Curacao Resort Spa and Casino: A Fabulous Place

The Hotel was comfortable a clean . The people who worked there were great. The Food was fresh and delicious. The Entertainment was fun. The pool and Beach was fabulous. The restaurants were great! The views were spectacular. We had a wonderful 7 day stay celebrating our 40th anniversary. I cannot believe all the poor reviews that I read prior to going. I had one issue not getting drinks as quick as we thought we should on the very first night, but 1 complaint to the office rectified the [... read more] problem and the set the tone for the rest of the week! Book this resort. It was great!

Secrets St. Martin: Relaxing week!!!

If you’re looking to unwind from a stressful job and just take a break in the most beautiful picture ass place in the Caribbean, this is your hotel just arrived. Home from a weekday. Staff was wonderful. Food was adequate but definitely quiet and relaxing.

Oceans at Divi Little Bay: Paradise on earth!

Great location, close to the pools and restaurants. Super courteous staff. Excellent food morning. lunch and dinner. Short walk to the lobby. The market is equal to a super market. Great selection of wine and beer. I could even find distilled water! Cabs at the door will drive you anywhere. The best resort we have been to. We will probably return.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Our Sunscape Experience

Overall, our stay at Sunscape was a positive experience. Having upgraded to SunClub, we felt we had the best room at the resort - it was a corner room with a great ocean view, located on a 2nd floor with a fairly private balcony, and was close to everything. The hotel is, at best, a 3-star resort. Despite being a bit dated, the biggest drawbacks were the poor service and terrible food. With the exception of a couple of standout employees (Nathaly - head waitress/hostess), staff were often  [... read more]scowling and unfriendly. The SunClub staff made us feel as though we were an imposition, and were pretty unapproachable. Xienandrau, who was usually assigned to restocking our mini-bar, was great during the first 5 days; but his service was sporadic thereafter. The staff at the Italian restaurant were frequently rude and dismissive. The staff at Oceania were always friendly and attentive. Thanks to Nathaly, we had attentive service at the Grill and the Cafeteria (aka the Trough). The food quality was repetitive, unimaginative, uninspiring and disappointing. The alcoholic drinks were a bit of a joke for Sunclub guests. One had to order a double or triple shot in order to be served a standard 1.5 oz shot, which made one feel like a real lush!! Although the hotel appeared clean, and staff were visibly always cleaning the premises, we had cockroaches in our room. The air conditioning in our room only seemed to work at around 4:30 am. The rest of the time, our room was quite hot albeit cooler than outside. The coffee maker in our room was broken when we arrived. Despite reporting it twice to the concierge and bringing it to the attention of the cleaning staff, the coffee maker was never replaced or repaired. The gym was not air conditioned and the equipment was dated and not entirely functional. Equipment was limited to ancient weight machines and some quasi-functioning cardio units. For us, the highlights were the onsite scuba facility and the beautifully protected open-water swimming arrangement. The scuba operation and employees were truly excellent. As an avid swimmer, I enjoyed the experience of frequent swims inside the breakwater "reef". Overall, the Sunscape and Air Canada Vacations provided a mediocre experience, at best. However, we liked Curacao and plan to return. The next time (hopefully January 2026), we will avoid AC Vacations and hope to book a 4-6 week stay through either AirBNB or VRBO. We are happy to discuss our experience in person, and also welcome any advice on future longer term visits to Curacao!

Enjoyed the surroundings. Staff was very hospitable, accommodated our needs in a timely manner when we had problems with our TV. Enjoyed the beach and great entertainment each night. They offered a variety of tasty meals. Overall, excellent, will go back for a visit and stay at the Dreams Resort.

Sonesta Ocean Point Resort: Wonderful

Just returned from a wonderful week at Ocean Point. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had a great ocean view. The food was very good. Portifino is a gem built into the rock with a waterfall and such a great idea that Azul changes their lunch and dinner menus every day. Such great views from all the restaurants and the Sunset Lounge. Our Housekeeper Faneza was lovely and a shout out to whoever filed our ice bucket on many occasion - so thoughtful. We never had to fight for lounge chairs at any of the pools. Loved the Edge Pool. If you are a beach enthusiast- the beach is not overly expansive however the resort has done a good job of providing a beach like feel just above the beach access. If you are a plane enthusiast - this is the place for you! But if you aren’t I found that after the first few hours the noise didn’t interfere. Great sound proofing in the rooms. Earliest planes leave at 7 (smaller planes) and last plane arrives no later than 8-830. I really enjoyed the quiet, tropical, peaceful atmosphere.

Sonesta Maho Beach: Good Family Resort - So Close You Can Almost Touch the Planes!

We just got back from a lovely stay at the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, and overall, we'd give it a solid thumbs up. It's a great spot whether you're wrangling little ones or enjoying some grown-up time. Plus, you're practically next door to that famous airplane landing spot – pretty cool! Beach/Pools: Good (Plenty of Space to Splash and Relax) The beach was just right – not too packed, and we never had trouble finding a chair to plop down on. Bonus points for the almost complete absence of  [... read more]algae during our April visit! The pools were nice and sparkling clean, with some seriously fun zones for the kiddos. And that one pool bar? Kept the good times flowing (even if the selection was a tad cozy). Service: Good (Hydrated and Mostly Happy) The service was reliable. Our room always had a fresh supply of water, plus a few welcome colas and beers. Housekeeping did a decent job keeping things tidy. Just a little tip: the toilet water could get a bit… fragrant, so we kept the ventilation fan working its magic or ask the housekeeping to put some blue stuff to help. Food: Good (Something for Everyone - Mostly!) The food options were surprisingly varied, and even this self-proclaimed foodie found plenty to enjoy. The offerings even changed a bit from day to day at the same spot, which kept things interesting. However, a word of warning: steer clear of Jing, the Asian restaurant. Honestly, they might be better off turning that space into, well, anything else! We did venture out once to Jax Steakhouse and had a great meal there. Rooms: Good (Comfortable Enough for Post-Sunshine Slumber) The bed and pillows weren't exactly cloud-like, but they were perfectly acceptable for crashing after a day of sun and fun. Value: Good (Worth It for This Time of Year) For our April getaway, we felt like we got good bang for our buck. Location: Good (Planes, Beaches, and a Little Bit of Everything) The location was a winner for us. Super close to the beach (obviously!), and a stone's throw from the Sunset Bar where you can grab some incredible airplane landing photos (hold onto your hats!). There were also a few shops nearby, a casino for those feeling lucky, and a very handy convenience store. That little shop was a lifesaver for stocking up on drinks, snacks, and even a bit of local "essentials" to spice up our hotel offerings. And don't worry about those planes keeping you up – they mostly stick to daytime hours. Overall Rating: Good All in all, we had a really enjoyable stay at the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort. We honestly wished we could have stayed longer!

The Rif at Mangrove Bch Corendon Curacao: Just Ok. Not recommended.

Excellent location with only a 2 km walk to the floating bridge in Willemstad. Located next to the seaport but unfortunately the cruise ships dock extend to directly in front of resort beach which was not ideal, unless you really enjoy looking at the side of a cruise ship all day. Room had an ant infestation which I was told by staff was not uncommon and the A/C was kicking out some unidentified white flaky looking substance that ended up coating the surfaces of the furniture that I ende [... read more]d up having to clean myself. Room cleaning was generally subpar other than making the bed. Unfortunately there was an area rug on the floor in the room that wasn’t cleaned all week so you can imagine what that ended up looking like. Only ate at the buffet restaurant where the food was pretty good but repetitive. Buffet was shared with the family resort so was extremely busy and often had long lines to access food and even clean plates. The grills and deep fryers were in the middle of the area where you select the food so it was smokey and uncomfortably hot in this area. The gym was good with a decent selection of equipment. I wouldn’t recommend this resort unless you plan to spend a lot of time off resort in Willemstad, then it’s just ok.

Sandals Royal Curacao: Food missed the mark

Beautiful resort friendly staff however if you are foodies (like us!) sadly, I do not reccommend this resort. It was our first Sandals and at first we were taken away with the beauty, ceanliness and service. However we quickly realized that the restaurants were not what was described in the UTube reviews or other written reviews. Breakfast buffet was fine but thats the best it got.
